Description

[0001] The invention relates to a toy valve assembly. Furthermore, the invention relates to a toy, and in particular to a toy vehicle having such a toy valve assembly.

[0002] Toy vehicles, such as fire engines or street cleaners, are known from obvious prior use. To enhance the play experience for the player, it is desirable to operate functional components of such vehicles with, for example, water as a fluid. BR MU9 000 251 U2 discloses a pump system for a toy truck.

[0003] It is an object of the present invention to provide a toy valve assembly for a toy vehicle which has both a reliable sealing effect and good handling.

[0004] This object is achieved according to the invention by a toy valve assembly having the features specified in claim 1.

[0005] The toy valve assembly can be designed as an assembly in the line path between a fluid reservoir and a line outlet, e.g., designed as a sprayer on a toy vehicle. The toy valve assembly can be a component of a fire engine toy vehicle.

[0006] The one-piece design of the closure part on the plastic closure body results in a small number of components, which simplifies the production of the toy valve assembly. The toy valve assembly, with the plastic base body and at least one plastic closure body, can be produced, in particular, by injection molding.

[0007] An embodiment according to claim 2 ensures a particularly good sealing effect.

[0008] An embodiment according to claim 3 enables a design of the valve assembly in which a sealing transition between the base body line path on the one hand and the closure body line path on the other hand can be designed in a structurally simple manner.

[0009] A thread design according to claim 4 ensures secure adjustment of the closure part and, in particular, enables a tight seal between the closure part and the plastic base body in the sealed position. The molding of the thread profiles on the respective bodies of the valve assembly, in turn, ensures easy assembly of the valve assembly.

[0010] A stop according to claim 5 prevents the plastic closure body from becoming undesirably released from the plastic base body. The sealing position can also be predetermined by a corresponding stop of the plastic closure body on the plastic base body, thereby preventing the valve assembly from being undesirably closed too tightly in the sealing position.

[0011] A toy valve assembly with multiple plastic closure bodies according to claim 6 can be used flexibly in a toy. Alternatively, the toy valve assembly can also have exactly one plastic closure body with the closure part and, if necessary, several plastic base bodies, each with a closure part receptacle for sealing the closure part.

[0012] With a nozzle body according to claim 7, the toy valve assembly can be used as a syringe assembly, e.g., for a fire engine toy vehicle.

[0013] The advantages of a toy vehicle according to claim 8 correspond to those already explained above in connection with the toy valve assembly. The toy vehicle can be a fire engine toy vehicle or a street cleaner toy. The toy vehicle can be made entirely of plastic. In particular, the toy vehicle can be made entirely of injection-molded components.

[0014] Embodiments of the invention are explained in more detail below with reference to the drawings, in which: Fig. 1 is a plan view of a toy valve assembly; Fig. 2 is a section along line II-II in Fig. 1 ; Fig. 3 a section along line III-III in Fig. 1 ; Fig. 4 a section along line IV-IV in Fig. 1 ; Fig. 5 a side view of another embodiment of a toy valve assembly with a nozzle body; Fig. 6 a section along line VI-VI in Fig. 5 ; Fig. 7 a view from direction VII in Fig. 5 ; and Fig. 8 a section along line VIII-VIII in Fig. 7 .

[0015] A toy valve assembly 1 is a component of a toy, in particular a toy vehicle. The toy valve assembly 1 is made entirely of plastic.

[0016] The toy valve assembly 1 has a plastic base body 2 with a base body conduit 3, which includes a main conduit 4 and two secondary conduit 5, 6 branching off from it at 90°. The toy valve assembly 1 also has two plastic closure bodies 7, 8, which are identically constructed, so it is sufficient to describe one of the two plastic closure bodies 7, 8 below. The plastic closure bodies 7, 8 are assigned to the secondary conduit 5, 6.

[0017] The plastic closure bodies 7, 8 each have a closure part 9 in the form of a closure cone. The closure part 9 is an integral component of the respective plastic closure body 7, 8. The respective closure part 9 can be switched between a sealing position, which is shown in the drawing for the plastic closure body 7, and a release position, which is shown in the drawing for the plastic closure body 8.

[0018] In the sealed position (see closure body 7), the closure part 9 seals the main body line path, i.e., the respective secondary line path 5 or 6, by contacting the plastic main body 2. For this purpose, the respective closure part 9 sits in a complementarily shaped closure receptacle 10 of the plastic main body 2.

[0019] In the release position (cf. closure body 8), the closure part 9 is released from the plastic base body 2, so that an annular space 11 surrounding the closure part 9 is formed, via which a flow is provided between the base body line path, i.e. the respective secondary line path 5 or 6, and a closure body line path 12 in the respective plastic closure body 7, 8.

[0020] A base body thread profile 13 of a respective thread 14 is molded onto the plastic base body 2, associated with the closure bodies 7, 8. A closure body mating thread profile 15 is molded onto the plastic closure body 7, 8. The respective closure part 9 of the plastic closure bodies 7, 8 can be adjusted by screwing the plastic closure body 7 or 8 relative to the plastic counter-body 2 via the respective thread 14.

[0021] A relative position of the respective plastic closure body 7, 8 to the plastic base body 2 in the release position is determined by a stop 16 (cf. Fig. 1 ) of the respective plastic closure body 7, 8 on a counter stop 17 of the plastic base body 2.

[0022] The respective plastic closure body 7, 8 has a knurled nut-like circumferential actuating section 18, via which the threaded displacement of the respective plastic closure body 7, 8 relative to the plastic base body 2 is enabled for switching between the sealing position and the release position.

[0023] The respective closure part 9 and / or the associated closure receptacle 10 can be made of a harder or more rigid plastic, particularly compared to the plastic material of the actuating section 18. Alternatively, it is possible to manufacture these components, and in particular the entire toy valve assembly 1, from one and the same plastic material. The various components made of the same plastic material can be manufactured with adjusted manufacturing tolerances depending on requirements.

[0024] At the end, the main line has 4 connection pieces 19, 20 (cf. Fig. 2 ). In the illustrated embodiment, the connecting piece 20 is closed by a blind plug 21. A connecting line between the toy valve assembly 1 and a Fig. 2 schematically indicated liquid storage container 22 of the toy vehicle.

[0025] After connecting the toy valve assembly 1 to the fluid reservoir 22 and moving the two plastic closure bodies 7, 8 into the sealing position, pressure can be built up in the fluid reservoir 22, for example via a pump. At least one of the two plastic closure bodies 7, 8 can then optionally be moved into the release position, whereby fluid then flows from the fluid reservoir 22 via the base body line path 3 through the plastic closure body 7 or 8, which is in the release position, to the respective closure body line path 12 and can there be fed, for example, to a fire engine sprayer or a cleaning nozzle of the toy vehicle. After removing the blind plug 21, the base body line path 3 can also be connected to other toy components via the connecting piece 20.

[0026] In an alternative, not shown embodiment of the toy valve assembly 1, the closure part 9 is integrally formed on the body 2 in the continuation of the secondary line paths 5, 6, and the closure receptacle 10 is molded complementarily thereto on the end face of the line path 12 of the bodies 7, 8. The closure part 9 and the closure receptacle 10 are thus molded onto the other body 2 or 7, 8, so that the base body 2, on the one hand, and the closure bodies 7, 8, on the other hand, exchange roles, and then the bodies 7, 8 can be understood as the base body and the body 2 as the closure body.

[0027] Based on the Fig. 5 bis 8 A further embodiment of a toy valve assembly 25 is described below. Components and functions corresponding to those described above with reference to the Fig. 1 bis 4 already explained, have the same reference numbers and will not be discussed in detail again.

[0028] The toy valve assembly 25 includes a single plastic closure body 26, which is designed similarly to the plastic closure bodies 7 and 8. Additionally, the toy valve assembly 25 has a nozzle body 27 mounted on the plastic closure body 26. A nozzle line 28 of the nozzle body 27 is aligned with the closure body line path 12 of the plastic closure body 26. The nozzle body 27 is locked to the plastic closure body 26.

[0029] The toy valve assembly 25 can be used in particular as a syringe assembly for a fire engine toy vehicle.
