Description
Technical field
[0001] The present invention relates to an electronic device for a measuring rake facilitating data loading. State of the art
[0002] During certain phases of aircraft design or maintenance, the engines of said aircraft, particularly turbojets, must be tested. These tests require measurements to be taken, on the ground and / or in flight, at different locations on the engine to be tested. These measurements involve instrumentation of the engine, particularly inside the secondary flow path. For this purpose, measuring tools are known which are intended to be installed in an engine to be tested, particularly for measuring pressures, as described in document FR 3 090 102.
[0003] Document FR3117213 describes a measuring comb for an aircraft engine comprising an electronic device with an acquisition card and a processing unit electronically connected to it. Document US2019 / 0323909 describes a similar system.
[0004] These measurement tools require cables to transmit data representative of the measured pressure to one or more user devices. The cables are generally attached to the walls of the engine or nacelle using adhesive tape. However, the tests are carried out in extreme conditions that can cause damage to the adhesive tapes. For example, the adhesive tapes can peel off. In addition, very often, the cables can be cut after the adhesive tapes peel off.
[0005] Current measuring tools are therefore not fully satisfactory. Statement of the invention
[0006] The present invention aims to overcome the drawbacks of the measuring tools of the prior art. To this end, it relates to an electronic device for a measuring rake, the measuring rake comprising a sheath intended to be fixed to a connecting rod arranged across a vein of an aircraft engine.
[0007] According to the invention, the electronic device comprises: an acquisition card comprising at least one pressure sensor, the acquisition card being configured to extend at least partly over a length of the sheath, the pressure sensor(s) being capable of generating data representative of pressure measurements, a processing unit electrically connected in a removable manner to the acquisition card, the processing unit being configured to be removably attached to the sheath, a loading unit configured to be electrically connected to the processing unit when the processing unit is electrically disconnected from the acquisition card; the processing unit comprising: a first communication module configured to receive the data generated by the pressure sensor(s) when the processing unit is electrically connected to the acquisition card, a storage module configured to store the data received by the first communication module, a second communication module configured to transmit the data stored in the storage module to the loading unit when the loading unit is electrically connected to the processing unit; the loading unit comprising: a third communication module configured to receive the data transmitted by the second communication module when the loading unit is electrically connected to the processing unit, a fourth communication module configured to transmit the data received by the third communication module to a user device.
[0008] Thus, due to the fact that the processing unit is electrically connected in a removable manner to the acquisition card and is removably fixed to one end of the sheath, it is possible to detach the processing unit from the sheath. It is then possible to load the data stored in the storage module without having to disassemble the sheath which contains the acquisition card.
[0009] It is then no longer necessary to use cables secured with adhesive tape to load data.
[0010] According to an advantageous embodiment, the processing unit comprises a fifth communication module configured to communicate remotely with a remote control device, the fifth communication module being configured to receive at least one control signal capable of being sent by the remote control device, the control signal(s) being representative of at least one command to the pressure sensor(s) to start the acquisition of at least one pressure measurement and / or at least one command to the pressure sensor(s) to stop the acquisition of the pressure measurement(s).
[0011] In addition, the processing unit further comprises a synchronization module configured to synchronize the data generated by the pressure sensor(s) before said data is stored in the storage module.
[0012] Furthermore, the processing unit comprises at least one power supply module configured to power the processing unit.
[0013] According to a preferred embodiment, the processing unit comprises two parts assembled and fixed together in a removable manner at one end of the sheath on either side of the sheath, each of the two parts comprising an electronic card, the electronic card of each of the two parts receiving the modules of the processing unit.
[0014] In addition, the first communication module, the storage module, the second communication module, the fifth communication module and the synchronization module are distributed between the two electronic boards.
[0015] Additionally, the power supply module includes two batteries, each of the two batteries being connected to a respective electronic board, each of the two batteries being configured to power the module(s) of a respective electronic board.
[0016] In addition, the processing unit includes a battery management module configured to monitor the electrical charge level of each of the batteries and to manage the power supply of the module(s) of the electronic cards according to the electrical charge level of each of the batteries.
[0017] Furthermore, each of the two parts of the processing unit comprises a half-shell, each half-shell respectively housing an electronic card, each of the two half-shells being configured to be assembled to the other to form a shell.
[0018] Advantageously, the charging unit is configured to electrically recharge the power module when the charging unit is electrically connected to the processing unit.
[0019] The invention also relates to a measuring rake intended to be fixed to a connecting rod arranged across a vein of an aircraft engine. According to the invention, the measuring rake comprises an electronic device as specified above.
[0020] The invention relates to an aircraft engine, said engine comprising a vein and at least one movable reversing door, said reversing door comprising at least one fixed connecting rod articulated between the reversing door and a motorization, said connecting rod being configured to allow the reversing door to be brought into a retracted position in which it is not across the vein and into a deployed position in which it is across the vein. According to the invention, the engine comprises at least one measuring rack as specified above, arranged on at least one connecting rod of the engine, the connecting rod(s) each being housed in the housing of at least one sleeve of a measuring rack.
[0021] The invention also relates to an aircraft comprising at least one engine as specified above. Brief description of the figures

[0023] The electronic device 1 for measuring rake (hereinafter referred to as “electronic device 1”) is shown schematically in the figure 1 and the figure 2 .
[0024] The measuring rake 2 (pressure) comprises a sheath 82 intended to be removably attached to a connecting rod 4 arranged across a vein 5 (usually called “secondary vein”) of an AC aircraft engine 3. The measuring rake 2 makes it possible to measure the pressure inside the engine 3, in particular inside the vein 5 of a dual-flow turbojet 3.
[0025] A "removable" element is one that is attached to an assembly so that it can be removed from the assembly and subsequently reassembled at will.
[0026] There figure 3shows an aircraft AC which comprises a fuselage 30 on each side of which a wing 31 is fixed. The wing 31 carries an engine 3 and a mast 32 which ensures the fixing of the engine 3 under the wing 31. In the description which follows, the engine 3 corresponds more particularly to a double-flow turbojet 3 comprising a vein 5, but it can correspond to any engine comprising a vein in which the pressure of an air flow must be measured.
[0027] In the following description, X is the longitudinal axis of the engine 3 which is parallel to the longitudinal axis of the aircraft AC and oriented positively towards the front of the aircraft AC. Y is the transverse axis which is horizontal when the aircraft AC is on the ground. Z is the vertical axis when the aircraft AC is on the ground. The three axes X, Y and Z are orthogonal to each other.
[0028] There figure 4 and the Figure 5show an example of a dual-flow turbojet engine 3. The dual-flow turbojet engine 3 comprises a fan 33, an engine 34 forming a core and a nacelle 35 arranged around the engine 34. The engine 34 is placed downstream of the fan 33. A duct 5 is delimited between the engine 34 and the nacelle 35. The air which enters through the fan 33 is divided into a primary flow which passes through the engine 34 and a secondary flow which passes through the duct 5. The nacelle 35 comprises around the fan 33, a fan casing 36 which is fixed and movable cowls 37 which are at the rear of the fan casing 36 and where each is movable in translation in a translation direction generally parallel to the longitudinal axis X of the dual-flow turbojet engine 3.
[0029] Each movable hood 37 is movable in translation relative to the motorization 34 between an advanced position ( figure 4 ) and a backward position ( Figure 5). In the advanced position ( figure 4 ), the movable cowls 37 are attached to the rear of the fan casing 36. In the retracted position, the movable cowls 37 are retracted relative to the fan casing 36 and away from the fan casing 36 to open a window 39 between the vein 5 and the exterior of the nacelle 35. The window 39 is delimited at the front by the fan casing 36 and at the rear by the movable cowls 37.
[0030] The movement of each movable hood 37 is ensured by any suitable means such as slides, jacks, etc.
[0031] The dual-flow turbojet 3 also includes a thrust reversal system which includes at least one reversal door 38.
[0032] Each reversing door 38 is movable between a retracted position ( figure 4 ) and a deployed position ( Figure 5 ). In the retracted position ( figure 4), the reversing door 38 is not across the vein 5 and therefore does not obstruct the passage of the secondary air flow F in the vein 5. In the deployed position ( Figure 5 ), the reversing door 38 is across the vein 5 so as to divert the air flow F towards the window 39 which opens between the vein 5 and the exterior of the nacelle 35.
[0033] For each reversing door 38, the reversing system also comprises a connecting rod 4 which moves the reversing door 38 from the retracted position to the deployed position when the movable hood 37 moves from the forward position to the retracted position. The connecting rod 4 is fixed articulated between the reversing door 38 and the motorization 34.
[0034] In the retracted position ( figure 4 ), each connecting rod 4 is across the vein 5. In the deployed position ( Figure 5 ), each connecting rod 4 can be practically pressed against the engine 34.
[0035] There figure 6shows the connecting rod 4 with a hinge point at each end 10a, 10b and covered with a measuring rake 2. The measuring rake 2 is more particularly designed to measure the pressures when the reversing door 38 is in the retracted position ( figure 4 ).
[0036] The connecting rod 4 has an aerodynamic section around which the air from the vein 5 flows along the X axis.
[0037] The measuring rake 2 comprises a sheath 82. The sheath may comprise two side walls 821 and 822 between which is delimited a housing 823 in which the connecting rod 4 is received. The housing 823 communicates with the outside of the sheath 82 via an opening 824 which extends over a length L of the sheath 82 between the two side walls 821, 822. The connecting rod 4 is configured to be inserted into the housing 823 via the opening 824.
[0038] The electronic device 1 comprises an acquisition card 6, a processing unit 8 and a loading unit 9 ( Figure 1 and Figure 2 ).
[0039] The acquisition card 6 comprises at least one pressure sensor 7. The acquisition card 6 is, for example, mounted at the leading edge of the sheath 82. The acquisition card 6 is configured to extend at least partly over the length L of the sheath 82. The length L of the sheath 82 (along which the acquisition card 6 is configured to extend) is configured to be substantially parallel to the connecting rod 4 on which the measuring rake 2 is likely to be mounted. The pressure sensor(s) 7 are configured to be directed towards the front of the aircraft AC along the X axis. The pressure sensor(s) 7 are thus capable of generating data representative of pressure measurements.
[0040] The pressure sensor(s) 7 may correspond to a MEMS type sensor (“Micro-electromechanical system” in English).
[0041] By way of non-limiting example, the measuring rake 2 comprises a leading edge 12 extending over the entire length L of the sheath 82 ( figure 6 ).
[0042] The leading edge 12 may correspond to a part added to the sheath 82. The leading edge 12 may also be an integral part of the sheath 82. The leading edge 12 has a plurality of cavities 121 distributed over a length L of the leading edge 12 ( figure 13). Each of the cavities 121 is hermetically isolated from another cavity 121. For each of the cavities 121, the measuring rake 2 comprises an air intake 122 which forms a fluid passage 123 between the cavity 121 and the vein 5. Each air intake 122 of the leading edge 12 communicates exclusively with a cavity 121. In each of the cavities 121, the measuring rake 2 comprises at least one pressure sensor 7.
[0043] The processing unit 8 is electrically connected in a removable manner to the acquisition card 6. The processing unit 8 is configured to be removably attached to the sheath 82 during pressure measurements, as shown in the figure 1 . Preferably, the processing unit 8 is fixed to one end of the sleeve 82. The end may correspond to that which is closest to the end 10a of the connecting rod which is articulated with the motor 3.
[0044] The loading unit 9 is configured to be electrically connected to the processing unit 8 when the processing unit 8 is electrically disconnected from the acquisition card 6 and to load the data generated by the pressure sensor(s) 7, as shown in the figure 2 .
[0045] The processing unit 8 comprises at least a first communication module 13, a storage module 14 and a second communication module 15. The first communication module 13 is configured to receive the data generated by the pressure sensor(s) 7 when the processing unit 8 is electrically connected to the acquisition card 6.
[0046] The first communication module 13 and the acquisition card may each comprise a connector 20 and 21, respectively, configured to electrically connect to each other in a removable manner so that the processing unit can be electrically connected in a removable manner to the acquisition card 6. The storage module 14 is configured to store the data received by the first communication module 13.
[0047] The second communication module 15 is configured to transmit the data stored in the storage module 14 to the loading unit 9 when the loading unit 9 is electrically connected to the processing unit 8.
[0048] The loading unit 9 comprises a third communication module 16 and a fourth communication module 17.
[0049] The third communication module 16 is configured to receive the data transmitted by the second communication module 15 when the loading unit 9 is electrically connected to the processing unit 8.
[0050] The fourth communication module 17 is configured to transmit the data received by the third communication module 16 to a user device 18.
[0051] By way of non-limiting example, the user device 18 may correspond to a display device.
[0052] The second communication module 15 and the third communication module 16 may each comprise a connector 23 and 24, respectively, configured to electrically connect to each other in a releasable manner so that the second communication module 15 can be electrically connected to the third communication module 16 when the loading unit 9 is electrically connected to the processing unit 8.
[0053] Furthermore, the processing unit 8 may comprise a fifth communication module 19 configured to communicate remotely with a remote control device 27. The fifth communication module 19 is configured to receive at least one control signal S capable of being sent by the remote control device 27. The control signal(s) S are representative of at least one command to the pressure sensor(s) 7 to start the acquisition of at least one pressure measurement and / or at least one command to the pressure sensor(s) 7 to stop the acquisition of the pressure measurement(s). The command(s) may be transmitted to the pressure sensor(s) 7 via the first communication module 13.
[0054] The control signal S capable of being sent by the remote control device 27 to the fifth communication module 19 may also correspond to an acquisition frequency configuration signal intended for the pressure sensor(s) 7. The acquisition frequency configuration signal may command the sensor(s) 7 to acquire the pressure measurement(s) at a given acquisition frequency.
[0055] For example, the fifth communication module 19 communicates remotely with the remote control device 27 via a remote communication protocol such as a “Bluetooth” type protocol.
[0056] According to one embodiment, the electronic device 1 may comprise said remote control device 27.
[0057] According to another embodiment, the remote control device 27 may correspond to a smartphone implementing an application.
[0058] This makes it possible to remotely control the start and end of pressure measurements using measuring rake 2.
[0059] The fifth communication module 19 can also send to the remote control device 27 a signal T representative of pressure measurements measured by the pressure sensor(s) 7. The remote control device 27 can also be configured to verify the pressure measurements measured by the pressure sensor(s) 7.
[0060] The processing unit 8 may further comprise a synchronization module 28 configured to synchronize the data generated by the pressure sensor(s) 7 before said data is stored in the storage module 14. The synchronization module 28 may synchronize the data generated by each of the pressure sensors 7 with each other.
[0061] The control signal S capable of being sent by the remote control device 27 to the fifth communication module 19 may also correspond to a synchronization signal intended for the synchronization module 28. The synchronization signal may synchronize the synchronization module 28 to an external time reference or to an internal time of the remote control device 27.
[0062] The processing unit 8 may comprise at least one power supply module 29 configured to power the processing unit 8.
[0063] The fifth communication module 19 can also send to the remote control device 27 a signal T representative of the electrical charge level of the power supply module 29. The remote control device 27 can also be configured to display the electrical charge level of the power supply module 29.
[0064] In a preferred embodiment, the processing unit 8 comprises two parts A and B. The two parts A and B are assembled and fixed together in a removable manner at the end 10a of the sheath 82 on either side of the sheath 82. Each of the two parts A and B comprises an electronic card 8a, 8b.
[0065] In this preferred embodiment, the electronic card 8a, 8b of each of the two parts A, B receives the modules of the processing unit 8; in other words, the processing unit 8 comprises two electronic cards 8a and 8b comprising the modules 13, 14, 15, 19 and 28 of the processing unit 8.
[0066] The electronic card 8a and the electronic card 8b may each further comprise a connector 25 and 26. The connectors 25 and 26 are configured to electrically connect to each other in a removable manner so that the two electronic cards 8a and 8b can be connected to each other in a removable manner during the assembly of the two parts A and B and so that they can be disconnected during the disassembly of the two parts A and B.
[0067] Furthermore, in the preferred embodiment, the first communication module 13, the storage module 14, the second communication module 15, the fifth communication module 19 and the synchronization module 28 are distributed between the two electronic cards 8a, 8b.
[0068] Preferably, the storage module 14 and the second communication module 15 are included in the same electronic card 8a or 8b.
[0069] There figure 1 and the figure 2represent an example of distribution of the modules 13, 14, 15, 19 and 28. In this example, the first communication module 13 and the fifth communication module 19 are included in the electronic card 8a. The second communication module 15, the storage module 14 and the synchronization module 28 are included in the electronic card 8b.
[0070] In the preferred embodiment, the power supply module 29 comprises two batteries 29a and 29b. Each of the two batteries 29a and 29b is connected to a respective electronic board 8a, 8b. Each of the two batteries 29a and 29b is configured to power the one or more modules 13, 14, 15, 19 and 28 of a respective electronic board 8a, 8b.
[0071] Advantageously, the charging unit 9 is configured to electrically recharge the power supply module 29, in particular the batteries 29a and 29b, when the charging unit 9 is electrically connected to the processing unit 8. Each of the batteries 29a and 29b can be electrically recharged by the charging unit 9 when the connectors 23 and 24 are electrically connected. The charging unit 9 is therefore configured to electrically recharge the batteries 29a and 29b. The charging unit 9 can be powered by the mains.
[0072] The processing unit 8 may comprise a battery management module 22. The battery management module 22 is configured to monitor the electrical charge level of each of the batteries 29a, 29b and to manage the power supply of the module(s) of the electronic cards 8a, 8b according to the electrical charge level of each of the batteries 29a, 29b. For example, it may be configured to switch the power supply of the module(s) 13, 14, 15, 19 and 28 to the battery 29a or 29b which has a remaining electrical charge level giving it the most autonomy. In addition, it may be configured to stop a power supply by batteries 29a, 29b if these fall below a capacity threshold in order to avoid a deep discharge which may make it impossible to recharge the batteries 29a and 29b. The capacity threshold may be configurable, for example by a user. As shown in the figure 1 and the figure 2, the battery management module 22 can be distributed over the two electronic cards 8a and 8b to be able to monitor the electrical charge level of each of the batteries 29a, 29b when the two electronic cards are disconnected from each other. However, the battery management module 22 can be included on a single electronic card 8a, 8b.
[0073] The fifth communication module 19 can also send to the remote control device 27 a signal T representative of the electrical charge level of each of the batteries 29a, 29b of the power supply module 29. The charge level of each of the batteries 29a, 29b can be provided by the battery management module 22. The remote control device 27 can also be configured to display, for example on a screen, the electrical charge level of each of the batteries 29a, 29b.
[0074] The fifth communication module 19 can also send to the remote control device 27 a signal T representative of the level of the operating mode of the module(s) 13, 14, 15, 19 and 28 of the electronic cards 8a, 8b. The remote control device 27 can also be configured to display, for example on a screen, the operating mode of each of these modules 13, 14, 15, 19 and 28. An operating mode can correspond to a module standby, a wait (for command) of the module or a mode of acquisition of pressure measurements (for the sensors 7 for example).
[0075] The division of the processing unit 8 into two electronic boards 8a and 8b provides the space necessary to integrate all the modules 13, 14, 15, 19, 28 and 29 into the processing unit 8 and other modules. The division can also allow a distribution of the masses on either side of the connecting rod 4 when the measuring rack 2 is mounted on the connecting rod 4.
[0076] Furthermore, each of the two parts A, B of the processing unit 8 may comprise a half-shell C1, C2. Each half-shell C1, C2 houses an electronic card 8a, 8b respectively. Each of the half-shells C1, C2 is configured to be assembled to the other to form a shell 80 configured to contain the processing unit 8. The shell 80 is therefore removably attached to one end 10a of the sheath 82. The shell 80 is configured to be removably attached on either side of the connecting rod 4, as shown in the figure 8 , there figure 9 , there figure 11 and the figure 12 . The two half-shells C1, C2 can be assembled using screws 100 ( Figure 8 and Figure 9 ). Each of the electronic cards 8a and 8b may have holes 1002 allowing the screws 100 to join the half-shell C1 and the half-shell C2 ( Figure 8 and Figure 9 ).
[0077] According to a preferred embodiment, the screws 100 may correspond to captive screws or otherwise called captive screws. The captive screws are screwed through tapped holes 1001 of the half-shell C1. The captive screws have an unthreaded shaft between a threaded portion and a head of the captive screw. Since the diameter of the shaft is smaller than that of the threaded portion, the captive screw can translate freely to the tapped hole 1001 of the half-shell C2 in order to screw them there and assemble the two half-shells C1 and C2 on the sheath 82. On the other hand, the captive screw remains in the tapped hole 1001 of the half-shell C1 without an unscrewing action at the tapped hole 1001 of the half-shell C1. Furthermore, the holes 1002 of each of the electronic cards 8a and 8b have a diameter greater than the thread diameter of the screws 100 in order to allow said screws 100 to translate freely to the tapped hole 1001 of the half-shell C2.Thus, the use of captive screws prevents them from escaping during assembly or disassembly of the half-shells C1 and C2 on the sheath 82.
[0078] Each of the two electronic cards 8a and 8b is housed in a respective half-shell C1, C2. The two electronic cards 8a and 8b are therefore configured to be arranged on either side of the connecting rod 4 when the shell 80 is fixed to the end 10a of the sheath 82.
[0079] Measuring rake 2 can be used in the following way.
[0080] The sheath 82 is fixed on a connecting rod 4 of the engine 3. The sheath 82 is already equipped with the acquisition card 6 of the electronic device 1.
[0081] The processing unit 8 is then electrically connected to the acquisition card 6 and is fixed to the end 10a of the sheath 82. In the preferred embodiment, the two parts A and B are assembled at the end 10a of the sheath 82.
[0082] When pressure measurements are to begin, an operator can act on the remote control device 27 so that the remote control device sends a remote control signal S to the pressure sensor(s) 7 via the fifth communication module 19 to command the pressure sensor(s) 7 to start acquiring at least one pressure measurement.
[0083] The pressure sensor(s) 7 of the acquisition card 6 then generate data representative of pressure measurements. The first communication module 13 receives this data. This data is then stored in the storage module 14. The data generated by the pressure sensor(s) 7 can be synchronized with each other by the synchronization module 28 before said data is stored in the storage module 14.
[0084] When it is decided that the pressure measurements are complete, the operator can act on the remote control device 27 so that the remote control device 27 sends a remote control signal S to the pressure sensor(s) 7 via the fifth communication module 19 to command the pressure sensor(s) 7 to stop acquiring the pressure measurement(s). In order to retrieve the data, the processing unit 8 is disconnected from the acquisition card 6 and the processing unit 8 is disassembled from the end 10a of the sheath 82. In the preferred embodiment, the two parts A and B are disassembled from the end 10a of the sheath 82. The operator can then detach the two parts A and B from the connecting rod 4 in order to connect the processing unit 8 to the loading unit 9.
[0085] The processing unit 8 is then electrically connected to the loading unit 9 to load the pressure measurement data via the second communication module 15 and the third communication module 16. The loading unit 9 can thus transmit the data to a user device 18 via the fourth communication module 17.
[0086] In the preferred embodiment, it is at least part A or B which comprises the storage module 14 and the second communication module 15 which is electrically connected to the loading unit 9.
