Description

[0001] The invention relates to a watch device, in particular a watch movement or a timepiece, comprising at least two mechanisms, namely, a winding mechanism and at least one mechanism for correcting at least one indicator member. Background of the invention

[0002] We already know of timepieces with a mechanism for winding and correcting indicator organs.

[0003] For example, the European patent application published under number EP 1 152 303 relates to such a timepiece in which the control stem can occupy three axial positions and carries a sliding pinion provided with rear teeth and front teeth.

[0004] In the first of the axial positions, the control rod operates the winding mechanism via the rear teeth of the sliding pinion.

[0005] In its second axial position, the control stem drives the date and day correction mechanism, also by means of the rear teeth of the sliding pinion.

[0006] In its third axial position, the control stem operates the time correction mechanism by means of the front teeth of the sliding pinion.

[0007] In this device, the winding pinion is mounted freely rotating on the control stem. Each mechanism is actuated by at least one horizontal clutch. The timepiece uses as many levers arranged in a plane parallel to that of the timepiece frame as there are mechanisms to be actuated.

[0008] This device eliminates the risk of involuntary correction of the date or day of the week when moving from the first to the second axial position of the stem.

[0009] However, it has the major disadvantage that it leaves the risk of a blockage when moving from the first to the second axial position of the stem when the winding chain is under tension. In addition, it requires a large number of levers and requires a substantial surface area to arrange them in the plane of the timepiece.

[0010] The subject of document CH432389 is a winding and time-setting mechanism which is equipped with two separate horizontal clutch devices. The first clutch is dedicated to the winding function, and the second is designed to control the translation of the sliding pinion so as to activate or deactivate the time-setting kinematic chain. Unlike the mechanism disclosed in document EP1152303, the sliding pinion is not designed to engage with the winding chain via the winding pinion. Each clutch is equipped with a lever with bistable behavior which is arranged in a plane parallel to that of the frame of the timepiece and which is controlled directly by the pull-out. A first position of one or other of the two levers corresponds to an activation position of the function associated with it while a second position corresponds to a deactivation position. Thus, it is not possible to add a third correction function such as the adjustment of a time-derived indication without installing an additional clutch device. In addition, this mechanism requires a surface area in the plane of the timepiece large enough to accommodate more than one lever.

[0011] Document EP2012199 relates to a two-position mechanism. This is intended to equip a watch with a large number of time indications to be corrected. The first position is for winding, while the second position corresponds to the adjustment of the chosen indication by means of a selector member. This device uses a single pinion which is integral in rotation with the stem. Its front teeth are engaged with the various correction chains, while its edge teeth are kinematically linked to the winding chain. This pinion does not move axially, so the risks of buckling and blocking due to the translation of the sliding pinion are eliminated. The winding chain is activated by means of a vertical clutch which is directly controlled by the geometry of the stem, while the device for selecting the indication to be corrected uses a selection cam designed to control as many clutch levers moving parallel to the plane of the movement frame as there are indications to be corrected. Such a device thus makes it possible to overcome the aforementioned functional defects. However, this requires a significant number of levers, a surface area in the plane of the timepiece sufficiently large to accommodate these levers and necessarily requires a member attached to the stem to select the indication to be corrected.

[0012] Document CH610483GA3 describes a timepiece comprising a stem-crown device. The stem can occupy three axial positions, in particular a pushed-in position for winding the barrel, a first pulled-out position for correcting the date and a second pulled-out position for setting the time. The device comprises a pull-out and a lever, cooperating with the latter to define the three stable positions of the stem and to move a sliding pinion in two opposite directions along the stem, the sliding pinion being able in this way to mesh with a winding wheel set and / or, respectively, with wheel sets for correcting the date and current time indications. Summary of the invention

[0013] The essential aim of the invention is to propose a timepiece comprising at least two mechanisms, namely, a winding mechanism and a mechanism for correcting at least one indicator member and which does not have the aforementioned drawbacks, while having a simpler, more compact, more rational structure and composed of a smaller number of parts, and while having the advantage of being able to add at least a second function for correcting at least one indicator member without an additional lever.

[0014] According to the invention, a timepiece device is defined by claim 1.

[0015] According to the invention, embodiments of the timepiece device are defined by claims 2 to 13.

[0016] According to the invention, a method of operating a timepiece device, in particular a device defined previously, is defined by claim 14.

[0017] Other characteristics and advantages of the invention will now be described in detail in the following description which is given with reference to the appended figures, which schematically represent: Figure 1 : a part of a timepiece according to the invention, showing in particular the control stem in its first axial position; Figure 2 : the timepiece part of the figure 1 , showing in particular the control rod in its second axial position; Figure 3 : a partial top view of the timepiece according to the invention, detailing the actuation of the second mechanism; Figure 4 : a partial top view of the timepiece according to the invention, detailing the drive of a date disc; Figure 5 : a partial top view of the timepiece according to the invention, detailing the drive of the indication of the days of the week; Figure 6 : the part of the clockwork Figures 1 and 2 , showing the control rod in the third position; Figure 7 : a partial top view of the timepiece according to the invention, detailing the actuation of a third mechanism; Figure 8 : a partial top view of the timepiece according to the invention, detailing the actuation of the first mechanism; Figure 9 : a partial top view of a movement of a timepiece according to the invention, before assembly of a correction module; Figure 10 : the top view of the figure 9 , after assembling the correction module; Figure 11 : a variant of the timepiece according to the invention, with the control stem in its second axial position; and Figure 12 : the variant of the figure 11 , with the control rod in its third axial position. Detailed description of the invention

[0018] An embodiment of a watch device, in particular a watch movement or a timepiece, comprises at least two mechanisms, namely, a winding mechanism and at least one correction mechanism of at least one indicator member.

[0019] In the following presentation, a clockwork device comprising three mechanisms will be described, these three mechanisms being all separately actuated by the control rod.

[0020] Of course, those skilled in the art will be able to draw from the following description the lessons necessary for producing a watchmaking device according to the invention comprising only two mechanisms.

[0021] As an example, the three mechanisms mentioned above can be defined as follows: first mechanism: winding mechanism, second mechanism: correction mechanism of at least one indicating organ, for example, a mechanism for correcting the date and the day of the week, and third mechanism: second correction mechanism of at least one other indicating organ, for example, a time setting mechanism. First mechanism : winding mechanism

[0022] This mechanism is operated by a vertical clutch such as that shown in the figure 1 .

[0023] This vertical clutch comprises a sliding axis 10 arranged substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of symmetry of the control rod T, so that it has a lower axial end 100 in contact with the control rod T.

[0024] On the figure 1, this control rod T is in its first axial position. The lower axial end 100 is then located in a hollow C formed by a reduction in the diameter of the control rod T.

[0025] On the side of the upper axial end 13 of the sliding axis 10 is securely mounted a first crown wheel 8 provided on a lower face with a Breguet toothing 8b provided to mesh with a Breguet toothing 7b provided on an upper face of a second crown wheel 7 mounted freely to rotate around the sliding axis 10.

[0026] This second crown wheel 7 also includes an edge toothing 7a substantially perpendicular to its Breguet toothing 7b and which is continuously engaged with the front toothing 5a of a winding pinion 5 mounted on the control stem T, integral in rotation with the latter and axially movable on the latter but fixed in translation relative to the frame of the watchmaking device, thanks to its non-circular cross-section which cooperates with the non-circular cross-section of a section Z of the control stem T.

[0027] The first crown wheel 8 is connected to a conventional winding mechanism, such as that shown in figure 8 , which is well known to those skilled in the art and which therefore does not need to be described here in detail.

[0028] A return spring 9 is arranged at the upper axial end 13 of the sliding axle 10 so as to push the latter towards the control rod T and thus press the first crown wheel 8 towards the second crown wheel 7.

[0029] The hollow C of the control stem T is delimited on one of its sides by an inclined or frustoconical surface 12 allowing, when the control stem T is pulled in the direction F towards the outside of the case of the timepiece, the sliding axis 10 to move in a direction away from the control stem T, against the force of the return spring 9.

[0030] This remote situation corresponds to the second position of the control rod T, which is shown on the figure 2 .

[0031] We can see on this figure 2that the lower axial end 100 of the sliding axis 10 is now located on a section Tr of larger diameter of the control rod T. It can also be seen that the first crown wheel 8 and the second crown wheel 7 are no longer engaged with each other.

[0032] This means that if the control stem T is turned, the winding pinion 5 and the first crown wheel 7 also turn, but the second crown wheel 8 is no longer driven and neither is the winding mechanism. Second mechanism: mechanism for setting the date and day of the week

[0033] This mechanism is activated when the control rod is in its second position. It is therefore visible on the figure 2 .

[0034] In this figure, we can see a sliding pinion 6 axially movable on a part of the control rod T and comprising, at the same axial end, both a front toothing 6a and an edge toothing 6b.

[0035] On one side of the timepiece opposite that where the sliding shaft 10 is located, there is arranged an idler wheel 11 whose axis of rotation is substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of symmetry of the sliding shaft 10. This idler wheel 11 has a front toothing 11b designed to mesh with the edge toothing 6b of the sliding pinion 6. Given that the latter is integral in rotation with the control stem T, a rotation of the latter can therefore drive the idler wheel 11 in rotation.

[0036] Since this idler wheel 11 is also provided with an edge toothing 11a, it can in turn drive other wheels into rotation, in particular those of a conventional correction mechanism intended for the adjustment of one or more time indications, which is well known to those skilled in the art and which therefore does not need to be described here in detail. For example, it may be a device for correcting the date and the day of the week, as shown in the figures 3, 4 And 5 .

[0037] As can be seen in particular on the figure 3 , the edge teeth 6b of the sliding pinion 6 mesh with the return wheel 11 which in turn meshes with another return wheel 29, which is engaged with a correction wheel 15.

[0038] This correction wheel 15 cooperates with a friction spring 16 so as to position itself according to the direction of rotation communicated to the return 29 by the control rod T.

[0039] On the example of the figure 4 , the correction wheel 15 is positioned in order to drive the date disc Q in a known manner by means of a star 17.

[0040] On the example of the Figure 5 , the correction wheel 15 is positioned in order to drive in a known manner the disc of the days of the week J by means of a wheel 18.

[0041] If we refer again to the figure 2 , it can be seen that the sliding pinion 6 has, at an axial end opposite to that where the teeth 6a and 6b are located, an end face 19.

[0042] This end face 19 is designed to come into abutment against a stop surface S located on the side of the section Tr opposite that where the inclined surface 12 is located ( Figures 1 and 2 ).

[0043] The section Tr of the control rod T has an axial length provided so that, when the rod is in its first axial position, that is to say when the sliding axis 10 is in the hollow C, the edge teeth 6b cannot mesh with the teeth 11b of the return wheel 11 ( figure 1 ).

[0044] On the other hand, the axial length of the section Tr is such that, when the rod is positioned in the second axial position ( figure 2 ) and that the sliding axis 10 is supported on this section Tr, the stop surface S, while still serving as a stop for the end face 19 of the pinion 6, allows the edge teeth 6b of the pinion 6 to mesh with the teeth 11b of the return wheel 11 and maintains the pinion 6 in this meshing situation. Third mechanism : time setting

[0045] This mechanism is actuated when the control rod T is pulled further outwards and reaches its third position. This case is shown in the figure 6 .

[0046] The lower axial end 100 of the sliding axis 10 is then always resting on the section Tr, in this example, substantially halfway between the frustoconical surface 12 and the stop surface S.

[0047] For reasons which will be explained below, the sliding pinion 6 then slides away from the section Tr of the control stem T to move closer to the end of the latter in the direction of the center of the movement. The front teeth 6a of the sliding pinion 6 then mesh with a return wheel 20 in connection with a conventional time correction mechanism which is well known to those skilled in the art, partially visible on the figure 7 and which does not need to be described here in detail. Switching from one mechanism to another

[0048] The transition from the actuation of one mechanism to the actuation of another mechanism is, of course, controlled by the axial displacement of the control rod T.

[0049] However, and more precisely, it is controlled, on the one hand, directly by the axial movement of the control stem T, and on the other hand, indirectly, by means of a horizontal clutch also controlled by the axial movement of the control stem T and which, unlike the devices of the prior art, only involves a single lever arranged in a plane parallel to that of the frame of the watch device. This mechanism will now be explained in detail.

[0050] As can be seen on the Figures 1 and 2 , the control rod T has a groove 21.

[0051] Likewise, between the axial end of the sliding pinion 6 where the teeth 6a, 6b are located and the opposite axial end where the end face 19 is located, a groove 22 is provided.

[0052] Referring now to the figure 8 , we see that the groove 21 is provided to receive the end 14 of a pull rod 1 pivoting around an axis 23, comprising a finger 27 and provided at another end 28 with a tenon 1c.

[0053] The groove 22 of the sliding pinion 6 is provided to receive the end 24 of a lever 3 pivoting about an axis 3a, having a nose 3d and a V-shaped part 3', so as to produce a spring whose end 3b bears against a stop B of the movement. This spring provides a force transmitted to the end 24 then to the sliding pinion 6 in order to push the latter towards the section Tr of the control rod T.

[0054] A jumper 2 is fixed to the movement. It has an elastic arm 25 ending in a beak 26 comprising three sides 2a, 2b and 2c intended to cooperate in a known manner with the tenon 1c of the puller 1.

[0055] When the control rod T is in its first position shown in the figures 1 And 8 , the side 2a presses on the tenon 1c of the pull rod 1 and the end 14 of the latter opposes the force exerted by the part 3' of the rocker 3, transmitted by the end 24 and pressing the end face 19 against the stop surface S of the control rod T. The torque produced by the elastic arm 25, which is substantially greater than that produced by the spring 3', ensures that the control rod T is held in its first axial position.

[0056] In this position, the sliding pinion 6 does not engage any cog.

[0057] Therefore, when the user manually rotates the control stem T, the front teeth 6a and edge teeth 6b of the sliding pinion 6 rotate freely, while the winding pinion 5 drives the first crown wheel 8 via the second crown wheel 7, thus actuating only the winding mechanism.

[0058] When the control rod T is pulled in the direction F to its second position shown in the figure 2 , the lower axial end 100 of the sliding shaft 10 slides on the frustoconical surface 12 and moves away, thus separating the first and second crown wheels 8, 7 and thereby disengaging the winding mechanism.

[0059] At the same time, as can be seen on the figure 3 , the rotation of the pull rod 1 allows the tenon 1c to come into contact with the flank 2b of the jumper beak 26. This ensures that the control rod T is held in its second axial position.

[0060] Furthermore, under the effect of the force exerted by the spring-forming part 3', the sliding pinion 6 is pushed in the direction F and remains in abutment against the abutment surface S (cf. figure 2). Thus, when the control stem T is pulled in the direction F to its second position, the rotation of the lever 3 and the translation of the pinion 6 in the direction F are not directly actuated by the pull-piece 1, but by the spring-forming part 3' of the lever 3. Contact between the pull-piece 1 and the lever 3 is therefore not necessary when the control stem T moves from its first position to its second position. In this position, its edge teeth 6b mesh with the idler wheel 11. When the user then manually rotates the control stem T, the front teeth 6a of the sliding pinion rotate freely, while the edge teeth 6b drive the idler wheel 11, thus actuating only the mechanism for setting the date or the day of the week, depending on the direction of rotation of the stem T, as can be seen in the figures 3, 4 And 5 .

[0061] If the user pulls the control rod T further in direction F towards its third position visible on the figures 6 And 7 , the rotation of the pull-out 1 brings its finger 27 into contact with the nose 3d of the lever 3 and thus tilts the latter against the force of its spring part 3' and thereby moves the sliding pinion 6 away from the stop surface S of the control stem T and therefore from the idler wheel 11, thus disengaging the mechanism for setting the date and the day of the week. Thus, when the control stem T is pulled in the direction F towards its third position, the rotation of the lever 3 against the force of its spring part 3' and the translation of the pinion 6 towards the center of the movement are directly actuated by the pull-out 1. Contact between the pull-out 1 and the lever 3 is therefore necessary when the control stem T moves from its second position to its third position.

[0062] At the same time, the tenon 1c of the pull rod 1 comes into contact with the flank 2c of the beak 26 of the jumper 2. This ensures that the control rod T is held in its third axial position.

[0063] Furthermore, the shape and dimensioning of the lever 3 are provided so that its end 24 received in the groove 22 precisely positions the sliding pinion 6 so that its front teeth 6a engage with the idler wheel 20, thus actuating only the time adjustment mechanism which can be partially seen on the figure 7 . Implementation variants

[0064] On the figures 1, 2 And 6 , the stop surface S of the control rod T is a frustoconical surface and the end face 19 of the sliding pinion 6 has two parts, a part perpendicular to the axis of symmetry of the control rod T and a frustoconical part matching the surface S.

[0065] Alternatively, the abutment surface S could be perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of symmetry of the control rod T and the end face 19 of the sliding pinion 6 could consist of only one part perpendicular to the axis of symmetry of the control rod T.

[0066] On the figures 1, 2 And 6 , the hollow C of the control rod T is defined on one side by the frustoconical surface 12 and on the other by another frustoconical surface. Nevertheless, the latter could quite easily be perpendicular to the axis of symmetry of the control rod T because, unlike the frustoconical surface 12, it is not intended to be traversed by the lower axial end 100 of the sliding axis 10.

[0067] According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the jumper 2 and the correction gear train specific to the second mechanism (wheels 11, 29, correction wheel set 15, star 17, friction spring 16, date disc Q, day of the week disc J, etc.) form a correction module which can be assembled separately on the movement, as can be seen in the figures 9 and 10 , which represent, respectively, the movement before and after mounting of the correction module.

[0068] According to a variant shown on the figures 11(2nd axial position of the rod) and 12 (3rd axial position of the rod), the drive of the third mechanism by means of the front teeth 6a of the sliding pinion 6 and the idler wheel 20 is replaced by a drive by means of an idler wheel 30 which is located substantially on the same plane as the idler wheel 11. The sliding pinion 6 then also meshes with this idler wheel 30 by means of its edge teeth 6b and the front teeth, which have become unnecessary, have been removed. It is of course also possible to consider retaining the front teeth in order to operate a fourth mechanism.

[0069] It is of course also possible to interchange the second and third mechanisms.

[0070] Whatever the variant or embodiment envisaged, the transition from the winding position to the rapid correction position is done without risk of blocking, even if the winding chain is under tension.

[0071] There is also no risk of satellization of the correction gear which could be induced by the translation of the sliding pinion when the rod is pulled from the first to the second axial position and which could involuntarily cause a correction.

[0072] Initially, the sliding pinion 6 is positioned under the effect of the spring part 3' of the rocker 3 and the rotation of the control rod T makes it possible to definitively establish the meshing between the edge teeth 6b and the teeth 11b of the return wheel 11, independently of the pull rod 1.

[0073] In no case is the position of the sliding pinion 6 forced by the user when moving into the second axial position of the control rod T. Thus, there is no risk of buttressing between the teeth 6b of the sliding pinion 6 and the teeth 11b of the idler wheel 11 and therefore no risk of moving directly from the second position to the third axial position of the control rod T in the event that the user has to overcome any buttressing.

[0074] Thus, the watchmaking device according to the invention makes it possible to solve the known problems of the mechanisms of the prior art by means of a single lever arranged in the plane of the movement. In addition, this lever has the advantage of being suitable for both a two-position mechanism and a three-position mechanism, which allows a simpler and more rational design than that of the mechanisms known from the prior art. The differentiation between these mechanisms can be made during the assembly of the correction wheel set and the jumper beak 26 which defines the positions of the control stem T (cf. figures 9 and 10 ).

[0075] A vertical clutch comprises a first wheel and a second wheel. These first and second wheels are integral with each other in rotation at least when the clutch is active. Each of these wheels meshes respectively with a driving wheel of a kinematic chain and with a driven wheel of this kinematic chain, at least when the clutch is active. The vertical clutch comprises an element movable in translation along the axis of rotation of the first and second wheels, between a first position and a second position. The first position corresponds to the engaged position and the second position corresponds to the disengaged position. A return element returns the movable element to the first position or to the second position. In the first position of the movable element, the first and second wheels are rotationally fixed and the first and second wheels each mesh respectively with the driving wheel of the kinematic chain and with the driven wheel of the kinematic chain. In the second position of the movable element, the first and second wheels are not rotationally fixed and / or the first wheel does not mesh with the driving wheel of the kinematic chain and / or the second wheel does not mesh with the driven wheel of the kinematic chain.

[0076] In a first clutch embodiment, in the second position of the movable element, the first and second wheels are not rotationally integral. For example, this can be achieved by means of front teeth of the first and second wheels, these teeth being defined in such a way that when the wheels are moved apart from each other, they are disengaged.

[0077] In a second clutch embodiment, in the second position of the movable element, the first wheel does not mesh with the driving wheel of the kinematic chain and / or the second wheel does not mesh with the driven wheel of the kinematic chain. For example, this can be achieved by an axial displacement of one of the wheels or both wheels, this displacement being such that at least one of the wheels no longer meshes with the driving wheel or with the driven wheel. In a variant, the first and second wheels can be merged.

[0078] By "vertical clutch" is meant a clutch comprising a wheel and an element movable in translation along the axis of rotation of the wheel, between a first position and a second position, the first position corresponding to the engaged position and the second position corresponding to the disengaged position. The axis of rotation of the wheel may in particular be substantially perpendicular to the plane of the frame of the timepiece. The axis of rotation of the wheel may also be substantially parallel to the plane of the frame of the timepiece.

10. The horological device as claimed in claim 9, in which the control stem (T) is dimensioned in such a way that, when the free lower axial end (100) of the sliding shaft (10) is located in the recess (C), the surface (S) prevents the sliding pinion (6) from engaging with an intermediate wheel (11) in connection with the first mechanism.

11. The horological device as claimed in claim 9 or 10, wherein the control stem (T) is dimensioned such that when it occupies its second axial position, the surface (S) keeps the sliding pinion (6) engaged with a / the intermediate wheel (11) in connection with the first mechanism12. The horological device as claimed in one of the preceding claims, wherein the switching from the first mechanism to the second mechanism, takes place by means of a single lever (3).

13. The horological device as claimed in one of the preceding claims, wherein the first mechanism is a mechanism for setting the date and / or the day of the week and / or the third mechanism is a mechanism for setting the time and / or wherein the second mechanism is a mechanism for setting a time zone and / or the third mechanism is a mechanism for setting the time and / or wherein the first correction mechanism is in the form of a correction module (2,11,29,15,17,16,Q,J) and / or the second correction mechanism is in the form of a correction module (2, 11, 29, 15, 17, 16, Q, J).

14. Method for operating a horological device, in particular a timepiece, the device comprising: - at least one first mechanism for correcting at least a first indicator member, - a second mechanism for correcting a second indicator member, - a control stem that can occupy at least two axial positions, each corresponding to the actuation of one of the mechanisms, - a sliding pinion (6) that can be moved axially, both with respect to the control stem (T) and with respect to the frame of the horological device, and can engage with the first and second mechanisms, the control stem (T) bearing the sliding pinion (6), these mechanisms being capable of being actuated by the control stem, the horological device comprising a lever (3) for the axial return of the sliding pinion (6) in a first direction (F) and a pull-out piece (1) is able to pivot the lever (3) against the force exerted by the spring (3') being part of the lever, the method being characterized in that it comprises the following steps: - pulling the control stem (T) in the first direction (F) causing an axial movement of the sliding gear (6) relative to the frame in the first direction (F), without the need for contact between the pull-out piece (1) and the lever (3), exclusively under the effect of a force exerted by said spring (3'), so that the sliding gear (6) engages with the first mechanism, and - further pulling the control stem (T) in the first direction (F) causing contact between the pull-out piece (1) and the lever (3) and an axial movement of the sliding gear (6) relative to the frame in a second direction opposite to the first direction (F) so that the sliding gear (6) engages with the second mechanism.
