Description

[0001] The invention relates to a shelf element for a shelf system of a rack, according to the preamble of the claim. 1. The invention further relates to a shelf frame, a shelf system and a shelf.

[0002] A shelf element for a shelving system is known from WO 2016 / 008476 A1. There, the shelf element is used, for example, as a longitudinal frame part of a shelf frame, which, together with an opposing frame part and two side parts, forms the shelf frame of a shelving system.

[0003] Further shelf elements are known from EP 1 559 345 A1, DE 10 2010 038 968 A1, EP 2 324 732 A1, DE 20 2007 000 922 U1 and EP 1 514 493 A1.

[0004] One object of the invention is to propose at least one possibility for the further development of a shelf element of the type mentioned above. Furthermore, a shelf frame, a shelf system, and a shelving unit are to be proposed which are suitable for the use of such a further developed shelf element.

[0005] The problem is solved with a shelf element having the features of claim 1. Furthermore, a shelf frame having the features of claim 13, a shelf system having the features of claim 14, and a rack having the features of claim 15 are proposed to solve the problem. Advantageous embodiments and / or configurations and / or aspects of the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims, the following description, and the figures.

[0006] A basic shelf element, for example for a shelf or shelf unit of a rack, comprises a top surface, a bottom surface opposite the top surface, and an elongated base. In cross-section, the base has two leg sections and an intermediate section, which corresponds to the top surface of the shelf element. The leg sections and the intermediate section can form part of an open hollow cross-section of the base. Alternatively, the leg sections and the intermediate section can form part of a closed hollow cross-section of the base. For example, the intermediate section is designed to support or place a shelf element, which serves as a shelf support, onto it.

[0007] The shelf element is designed so that the base body has at least one through-opening which passes through at least one of the leg sections and / or the intermediate section transversely to the longitudinal extent of the base body. The at least one through-opening may be slot-shaped. This means, in particular, that the at least one through-opening is elongated and narrow. For example, the slot-shaped through-opening extends transversely to the longitudinal extent of the base body. In particular, the at least one through-opening is designed to be used as an insertion opening for an attachment and / or installation component, for example, to insert a product divider with an insertion section.

[0008] Multiple such through-openings can also be provided. For example, the through-openings can be arranged one behind the other in the direction of the longitudinal extent of the base body. If the through-openings are each slot-shaped, their longitudinal extent runs perpendicular to the longitudinal extent of the base body.

[0009] Each shelf element has at least one connection point at each of its longitudinal ends. This connection point is designed to attach, and in particular fasten, an add-on component and / or a shelf component and / or a racking component.

[0010] One aspect of the invention is to provide at least one functional element that performs a reinforcing function with respect to the shelf element. For this purpose, the shelf element has at least one rib, in particular an elongated rib. The at least one rib is associated with the intermediate section and has a longitudinal extension in the longitudinal direction of the base body, i.e., in the direction of the longitudinal extension of the base body. For example, the at least one rib extends continuously along the longitudinal direction of the base body.

[0011] This measure improves the stiffness of the shelf element and thus makes it more robust against applied forces. By extending the at least one rib along the longitudinal direction of the base body, a measure is taken to reinforce the shelf element, and in particular the base body, against forces acting transversely to its longitudinal direction and to counteract any bending deformation. The measure of assigning the at least one rib to the intermediate section of the base body also aims at this, for example, by arranging or forming the at least one rib on the intermediate section, in particular by molding it onto the section, and by protruding away from the intermediate section.

[0012] If at least one through-opening extends through the intermediate section, a surface section usable as an abutment should be present between the at least one through-opening and the rib. This allows an insertable section of an add-on and / or built-in component, such as a product divider, inserted into the at least one through-opening to be brought into a locking position in which the insertable section is secured against being pulled out of the at least one through-opening. The surface section that serves as an abutment for the insertable section in the locking position can be used for this purpose.

[0013] The at least one rib forms a wall section of a preferably elongated chamber structure, which extends longitudinally along the base body, in particular with its longitudinal extent parallel to the base body. This also serves to reinforce the shelf element, making it more robust against any forces that may occur during use, such as shear forces. The chamber structure contributes to forming a reinforcing structure on the base body, thereby improving the stiffness of the shelf element to counteract any load-induced deformations. The fact that the chamber structure should encompass one of the leg sections of the base body as a wall section further serves this purpose.

[0014] The chamber structure can be configured to serve as a receptacle for a separate, for example, elongated reinforcing element. This creates the prerequisite for a further reinforcing effect to be exerted by an additional, separate functional component, by designing the chamber structure to accommodate such a component. In particular, the chamber structure has an insertion opening arranged such that the reinforcing element can be inserted longitudinally along the base body, i.e., the insertion direction for the reinforcing element is longitudinal along the base body.

[0015] The chamber structure can have an open cross-section. Alternatively, the chamber structure can have a closed cross-section. For example, the chamber structure may have a square, particularly polygonal, cross-section. For example, the chamber structure may have a quadrilateral and / or rectangular cross-section. Alternatively, the chamber structure may have a round, particularly circular, cross-section.

[0016] In one embodiment, the shelf element includes a recess for receiving an insert, such as an information carrier and / or a product stopper. This allows the shelf element to perform additional functions, which are carried out by the insert. For example, the insert can function as an information carrier. The insert can also be designed as a price tag. Additionally or alternatively, the insert can function as a product stopper. This function is particularly useful when the shelf element is a front component of a shelf frame that is angled in a rack, so that the front of the shelf frame is lower than its rear. In such a shelf system, the intention is that items placed on a shelf surface will slide down when items at the front are removed. The shelf element with a product stopper inserted into the recess forms a stop to end the sliding movement of the goods.

[0017] For example, the insertion recess is open towards the top of the shelf element so that the insert can be slid into the recess from the top, resulting in an insertion direction perpendicular to the top. The insertion recess has a corresponding opening for this purpose, which, for example, has an opening surface that is at least partially facing the top.

[0018] It may be designed so that, viewed transversely to the insertion direction, the insertion recess is elongated to accommodate an insertion strip, such as a strip-shaped price tag and / or a strip-shaped product stopper. For example, the insertion recess is arranged relative to the base body such that its longitudinal extent runs parallel to the length of the base body.

[0019] In one embodiment, the insertion recess comprises at least two wall sections, one of which is formed by the base body and the other by a material section attached to, and in particular integrally formed with, the base body. For example, one wall section of the insertion recess, in particular one of the at least two wall sections, is formed by one of the leg sections of the base body.

[0020] One of the leg sections of the base body, in particular one leg section, can additionally form a wall section of the chamber structure. Thus, one of the leg sections is used both as a wall section for the insertion recess and as a wall section for the chamber structure. This aims to create the most stable and robust structure possible for the shelf element with the simplest possible cross-sectional geometry.

[0021] It is also possible to arrange the leg sections and the intermediate section in such a way that the base body has a U-shaped cross-section, which is open towards the underside of the shelf element, i.e., open downwards. This allows the area between the two leg sections and the intermediate section to be used as a receiving space or channel for attachments, built-in components, or other parts of the shelving unit. For example, electrical supply lines for lighting or other electrical devices can be housed there. Because the U-shaped cross-section is open downwards, it is accessible from the outside when the shelf element is installed in a shelf frame.

[0022] One possible embodiment consists in the fact that, with respect to the cross-section of the shelf element, the base body and the insertion recess each have a U-shaped wall structure with a common leg section. The U-shaped wall structure of the insertion recess is open at the top, and the U-shaped wall structure of the base body is open at the bottom. The common leg section is used to form the chamber structure containing the rib. This allows the advantages described above to be combined. Firstly, it facilitates the creation of a stable and robust structure for the shelf element due to the common leg section. The shelf element has the aforementioned insertion recess for a product stopper and / or a price tag and / or other insertable component. Secondly, it creates the aforementioned receiving space or channel for attachments, built-in components, or other parts, for example, of the shelving unit.

[0023] Another possible embodiment consists in the fact that, with respect to the cross-section of the base body, at least one coupling point is arranged in the region of one of the leg sections. In particular, it is provided that, with respect to the cross-section of the base body, at least one coupling point is arranged in the region of an end of one of the leg sections, for example in the region of an end of one of the leg sections facing away from the intermediate section.

[0024] Additionally or alternatively, with respect to the cross-section of the shelf element, at least one coupling point can be provided in the area of a wall of the insertion recess and / or in the area of a wall of the chamber structure and / or in the area of a transition from the base body to the material section that at least partially forms the insertion recess and / or in the area of a transition from the chamber structure to the insertion recess. For example, the at least one coupling point is arranged in the area of a free end of one leg section and / or in the area of a base of the insertion recess. For example, the at least one coupling point is provided in the area of the common leg section.

[0025] This counteracts any potential flexing of the walls of the insertion recess, for example, when a force acts on an insert component located in the recess, such as a product stop. This force can originate, for instance, from goods sliding down the shelf if the shelf element forms a front component of a shelf frame that is installed in a racking system at a downward angle towards its front.

[0026] In a further embodiment, the base body has at least one additional coupling point at each of its longitudinal ends, which is designed to allow the attachment of a component, a shelf component, and / or a racking component. For example, the at least one coupling point is provided in the area of one leg section, and the at least one additional coupling point is provided in the area of the other leg section of the base body. In particular, the at least one coupling point and / or the at least one additional coupling point is arranged on the corresponding leg section in the area of its free end, i.e., the end facing away from the intermediate section, and specifically not adjacent to the intermediate section.

[0027] By providing at least two coupling points at at least one of the longitudinal ends of the base body, and in particular by spacing them relative to each other, for example in the arrangement described above, the shelf element is secured against rotation about its longitudinal axis. Such a situation can occur, for example, if a transverse force acting with respect to the longitudinal axis is present via an insertable component located in the insertion recess, such as a product stop. This transverse force can originate from sliding goods if the shelf element forms a front component of a shelf frame that is installed in a racking system inclined downwards towards its front.

[0028] It may be provided that at least one coupling point has or is formed by a projection extending longitudinally along the base body. Alternatively, at least one coupling point may have or be formed by a recess extending longitudinally along the base body. For example, the recess is designed to accommodate a connecting element for attaching an add-on part and / or a shelf component and / or a rack component. For example, the recess is a component of a cavity extending longitudinally along the base body, particularly a continuous cavity. For example, the projection is designed for secure insertion into a receptacle for attaching an add-on part and / or a shelf component and / or a rack component.

[0029] The shelf element can be a metal part, for example, made of or containing metallic material, where the material or the shelf element is corrosion-resistant or at least low-corrosion. For example, the shelf element could be an aluminum part, made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy. Alternatively, the shelf element could be a plastic part, made of a dimensionally stable plastic and / or an extrudable plastic. The shelf element is manufactured from an extruded profile. This facilitates cost-effective production of the shelf element.

[0030] As already explained above, one aspect of the invention is to provide at least one functional element that performs a reinforcing function with regard to the shelf element. According to one embodiment, a separate reinforcing element can be assigned to the base body for this purpose. This also provides a measure to improve the rigidity of the shelf element and thus make it more robust against acting forces.

[0031] In particular, the reinforcing element is designed to strengthen the base body against forces acting transversely to its longitudinal extent. For example, the reinforcing element is elongated and, in particular, held to the base body. For example, the reinforcing element extends along the longitudinal direction of the base body. This provides measures to counteract any bending deformation of the base body or shelf element.

[0032] The reinforcing element can be a metal profile. For example, the reinforcing element is a steel or stainless steel profile. To protect against corrosion, the reinforcing element can be provided with a corrosion-inhibiting coating. For example, the cross-section of the reinforcing element is constant or substantially constant in the direction of its longitudinal extent. For example, the reinforcing element has an angular, particularly polygonal, cross-section. For example, the reinforcing element has a square and / or rectangular cross-section. Alternatively, the reinforcing element can have a round, particularly circular, cross-section.

[0033] In one embodiment, the shelf element is provided with the chamber structure described above, and the reinforcing element is received within the chamber structure, in particular held therein. For example, the reinforcing element extends with its longitudinal extent within the chamber structure in the direction of its longitudinal extent. Through the chamber structure and the separate reinforcing element, both measures described above are implemented in the shelf element to improve its rigidity.

[0034] According to one aspect of the invention, a shelf frame is provided for a shelf of a shelving unit. The shelf frame comprises at least one embodiment and / or configuration of the shelf element described above, which is used as a frame part for the shelf frame. For example, the shelf element and an opposing shelf element of the same or different type are provided, which are connected to each other by at least two side parts to form a frame or an interior space.

[0035] Another aspect of the invention relates to a shelf system for a rack. The shelf system comprises at least one embodiment and / or configuration of the shelf element described above and / or at least one embodiment and / or configuration of the shelf frame described above. Preferably, at least one shelf element is also provided for supporting the goods.

[0036] The invention also includes a shelf, for example a sliding shelf. The shelf has at least one shelf element and / or one shelf frame and / or one shelf system, wherein the shelf element can be at least one embodiment and / or configuration of the shelf element described above, the shelf frame can be at least one embodiment and / or configuration of the shelf frame described above, and the shelf system can be at least one embodiment and / or configuration of the shelf system described above.

[0037] Further details and features of the invention will become apparent from the following description of at least one embodiment with reference to the drawings. These show Fig. 1 shows a possible embodiment of a shelf element in perspective view as a section of a front longitudinal segment, Fig. 2 shows the shelf element of the Figure 1in a view of a longitudinal end, Fig. 3 the shelf element of the Figure 1 together with a reinforcing element in a perspective view, Fig. 4 a section of the shelf element with the reinforcing element as a perspective partial section, Fig. 5 an extruded profile for the manufacture of the shelf element of the Figure 1 and Fig. 6 another possible embodiment of a shelf element in a view of a longitudinal side End, where a reinforcing element is assigned to the shelf element is.

[0038] Figures 1 and 2Figure 1 shows – in schematic form – a possible embodiment of a shelf element 1 for a shelf or shelf system, for example, of a rack. The shelf element 1 is elongated and, in cross-section, has a top surface 2, a bottom surface 3 opposite the top surface 2, a front surface 4, and a back surface 5 opposite the front surface 4. The top surface 2 of the shelf element 1 can serve to support one or more shelf elements that can be used as a shelf for goods.

[0039] Shelf element 1 is suitable to be used as a frame part for a (in the Figures 1 and 2 (not shown) shelf frame. For example, shelf element 1 is to be used as a longitudinal frame part of the shelf frame. For example, shelf element 1, together with an opposing frame part and two side parts, forms the shelf frame. A (in the Figures 1 and 2The merchandise support (not shown) may be placed on or attached to the shelf. The top surface 2 of shelf element 1 can be used for this purpose, against which the merchandise support rests.

[0040] The shelf element 1 has an elongated base body 6, which, in cross-section, comprises two leg sections 6.1 and 6.2 and an intermediate section 6.3. The leg sections 6.1 and 6.2, as well as the intermediate section 6.3, can form part of an open hollow cross-section of the base body 6. For example, the leg sections 6.1 and 6.2 and the intermediate section 6.3 form a U-shaped cross-section of the base body 6. Preferably, the intermediate section 6.3 faces the top surface 2 of the shelf element 1. Preferably, the leg section 6.1 faces the front surface 4 of the shelf element 1. Preferably, the leg section 6.2 faces the rear surface 5 of the shelf element 1. Preferably, the base body 6 is open downwards, i.e., towards the bottom surface 3.

[0041] The base body 6 further comprises at least one through-opening 7 which penetrates one of the leg sections 6.1, 6.2, in particular leg section 6.2, and / or the intermediate section 6.3 transversely to the longitudinal extent of the base body 6. The at least one through-opening 7 may be slot-shaped. In this case, its longitudinal extent then runs transversely to the longitudinal extent of the base body 6. The at least one through-opening 7 is designed to be used as an insertion opening for an insertion section of an add-on part and / or built-in part, such as a product divider.

[0042] To enable the attachment or installation component to be flexibly mounted at various locations on the shelf element 1, a plurality of through-openings 7' in the form of at least one through-opening 7 are preferably provided. The through-openings 7' are, for example, arranged one behind the other in the direction of the longitudinal extent of the base body 6. If the through-openings 7' are slot-shaped, their longitudinal extent is perpendicular to the longitudinal extent of the base body 6.

[0043] The shelf element 1 has at least one coupling point 10 in the area of each of its longitudinal ends 8, 9. The longitudinal end 9 is in the Figure 1Not apparent from the present excerpt, but indicated by reference drawing "9". At least one coupling point 10 is provided for attaching an add-on part, a shelf component, or a rack component. For example, the above-described (in the Figures 1 and 2 The (not shown) side panel of the shelf frame can be attached.

[0044] The shelf element 1 has a rib 12, or a rib element or rib section. The rib 12 is associated with the intermediate section 6.3. For example, the rib 12 is also arranged between the two leg sections 6.1 and 6.2. Preferably, the rib 12 projects from the intermediate section 6.3, in particular downwards from the intermediate section 6.3 in the direction of the underside 3. Preferably, the rib 12 is formed on the intermediate section 6.3, in particular integrally formed therein. The rib 12 is elongated and extends longitudinally in the longitudinal direction of the base body 6.

[0045] Preferably, the rib 12 is arranged on the intermediate section 6.3 such that a surface section 18 is located between the at least one through-opening 7 and the rib 12, which can be used as a support. For example, this allows an insertable section, such as a divider, to be inserted into the at least one insertable opening 7 and, by moving it towards the front 4 of the shelf element 1, into a locking position in which the insertable section engages behind the material section 18, thus preventing the insertable section from being pulled out of the at least one through-opening 7.

[0046] As can be seen from the exemplary embodiment of the Figures 1 and 2As can be seen, the rib 12 forms part of a wall section 20 of a chamber structure 13, which extends longitudinally along the base body 6. Preferably, the chamber structure 13 comprises a further wall section 15, which is formed by one of the leg sections 6.1, 6.2, in particular leg section 6.1. For example, the chamber structure 13 is closed with respect to the cross-section of the base body 6. The rib 12 and / or the chamber structure 13 serve to reinforce the shelf element 1, in particular to stiffen it against forces acting transversely to the longitudinal extent of the shelf element 1.

[0047] The at least one coupling point 10 can be arranged in the region of one end 23 or 24 of one of the leg sections 6.1, 6.2 facing the underside 3. For example, the base body 6 has, with respect to its cross-section, a material thickening 25 in the region of the end 23 of one leg section 6.1, on which the at least one coupling point 10 is arranged or formed. For example, the at least one coupling point 10 is arranged in the region of a transition from one leg section 6.1 to the wall section 20, which together are components of the chamber structure 13.

[0048] Preferably, the shelf element 1 has at least one further coupling point 11 in the region of one of its longitudinal ends 8, 9. This at least one further coupling point 11 is preferably configured to allow the attachment of a component or shelf element and / or a racking component. Preferably, the at least one further coupling point 11 is arranged in the region of the other leg section 6.2, for example, in the region of its end 24 facing the underside 3. With respect to its cross-section, the base body 6 can also have a material bulge or thickening 26 in the region of the end 24 – like the other leg section 6.1 – on which the at least one further coupling point 11 is arranged or formed.

[0049] Preferably, the at least one coupling point 10 is a recess 19 extending in the longitudinal direction of the base body 6. For example, the recess 19 is a component of a cavity extending in the longitudinal direction of the base body 6, in particular a continuous cavity of the base body 6. The at least one further coupling point 11 can be configured in the same way.

[0050] The shelf element 1 may be provided with a plug-in recess 14, which is used to receive a (into the Figure 1 and (not shown) insertable parts, such as price tags and / or product stoppers. Preferably, the insertion recess 14 is open towards the top 2 of the shelf element 1, so that the insertable part can be slid into the insertion recess 14 via the top 2 as indicated by arrow E. The recess 14 has an insertion opening 21 for this purpose, the opening surface of which faces at least partially towards the top 2.

[0051] Preferably, the insertion recess 14 is elongated when viewed transversely to the insertion direction as shown by arrow E. This facilitates the use of an insertion strip, such as a strip-shaped price tag. or to accommodate a strip-shaped product stopper. Preferably, the insertion recess 14 is arranged relative to the base body 6 such that the insertion recess 14 extends with its longitudinal extent in the longitudinal direction of the base body 6.

[0052] For example, the insertion recess 14 is formed by at least two wall sections, one of which is formed by the base body 6 and the other wall section 16 by a material section 17 attached to, in particular integrally formed with, the base body 6. For example, the wall section of the base body 6 is a wall section of one leg section 6.1, for example the wall section 15 already described above, which is also part of the chamber structure 13.

[0053] Figure 3 The shelf element 1 is shown in the illustration according to the Figure 1 . Figure 4 shows shelf element 1 in perspective according to the Figure 3 , wherein the shelf element 1 is shown as a section cut over a segment in the longitudinal direction of the shelf element 1. In the Figures 3 and 4A separate reinforcement element 50 is assigned to the shelf element 1 in order to improve the stiffness of the shelf element 1 and thus make the shelf element 1 more robust against acting forces.

[0054] Preferably, the reinforcing element 50 is designed to strengthen the base body 6 against forces acting transversely to its longitudinal extent. Preferably, the reinforcing element 50 is elongated for this purpose. For example, the reinforcing element 50 is received in the chamber structure 13 of the shelf element 1, in particular inserted into the chamber structure 13 starting from one of the longitudinal ends 8, 9.

[0055] The reinforcing element 50 is, for example, a metal profile. Preferably, the reinforcing element 50 has a square and / or rectangular cross-section and extends, for example, in the direction of its longitudinal extent with a constant or substantially constant cross-section. To facilitate the insertion of the reinforcing element 50 into the chamber structure 13, at least one of the walls of the chamber structure 13, for example, the wall section 15 and / or one leg section 6.1, can have an undercut 22 ( Figure 2 ) to reduce the mounting area for the reinforcement element 50.

[0056] Shelf element 1 is made from an extruded profile 40. Figure 5 Figure 40 shows such an extruded profile. Components or functional sections of the extruded profile 40, which correspond to the components or functional sections of the shelf element 1 of the Figures 1 and 2Items that are identical or functionally equivalent are marked with the same reference numerals; in this respect, reference is made to the description of shelf element 1 of the Figures 1 and 2 referred.

[0057] The extruded profile 40 is, for example, a metal part, in particular an aluminum part. The extruded profile 40 has the functional sections already described above for the shelf element 1. The extruded profile 40 lacks the at least one through-opening 7 or the plurality of through-openings 7' which, transverse to the longitudinal extent of the base body 6, penetrates the intermediate section 6.3 and / or at least one of the leg sections 6.1, 6.2. The at least one through-opening 7 or the plurality of through-openings 7' is / are subsequently incorporated after the extruded profile 40 has been manufactured, and in this way the shelf profile 1 is constructed according to the Figures 1 and 2 manufactured.

[0058] Figure 6Figure 1 shows a further embodiment of a shelf element 1.2. Components or functional sections of the shelf element 1.2, which are connected to components or functional sections of the shelf element 1. Figures 1 and 2 Items that are identical or functionally equivalent are marked with the same reference numerals; in this respect, reference is made to the description of shelf element 1 of the Figures 1 and 2 referred.

[0059] Shelf element 1.2 differs from shelf element 1 of the Figures 1 and 2by the fact that a rib 12.2 is assigned to the intermediate section 6.3, in particular arranged or integrally formed thereon, which projects towards the underside 3 of the intermediate section 6.3. Additionally, a wall section 22 is provided in the region of the end 23 of one leg section 6.1 facing the underside 3, which together with one leg section 6.1 forms a receptacle in the lower region. Preferably, the wall section 22, the rib 12.2, and one leg section 6.1 form a receptacle for the reinforcing element 50, which is located in the Figure 2 as also shown.
