Description

[0001] The present invention relates to a transport bracket, wherein the transport bracket can be connected to a grating, wherein the transport bracket, in the assembled state, sets the grating apart from the ground, wherein the transport bracket is U-shaped and wherein the transport bracket has two tabs on the open side, wherein the two tabs each have a longitudinal indentation into which a crossbeam of the grating to be connected can be received, wherein, for inserting the transport bracket into the grating, the open side of the bracket can be elastically compressed and the tabs can be inserted through the meshes of the grating formed by intersecting crossbeams and longitudinalbeams.

[0002] Specifically, the commercial transport and shipping of grating products is currently carried out using standardized load carriers, such as Euro pallets, or on support blocks individually adapted to the product dimensions. Both options serve the purpose of keeping the individual or stacked gratings a few centimeters above ground level, thus enabling them to be picked up by a forklift truck.

[0003] FR 1 530 386 A describes a pallet with removable feet designed as U-shaped curved profiles.

[0004] DE 7222446 U relates to a pallet for transporting general cargo, consisting of several slats and feet arranged at intervals, which support slats.

[0005] The present invention is based on the objective of optimizing the transport of goods, in particular gratings.

[0006] According to the invention, this problem is solved in a transport handle according to the preamble of claim 1 by the fact that the two tabs have different lengths.

[0007] In particular, the combination of several transport brackets and the directly attached grating constitutes an independent and fully functional unit of a loading platform, which can be used for storing, loading, and shipping packages in the logistics industry. The grating primarily serves as a structurally rigid loading surface for the goods being shipped, the weight of which is transferred to the ground via the transport brackets.

[0008] The transport bracket's spacing between the grating and the ground is particularly advantageous, ensuring the necessary ground clearance for transport and warehousing using forklifts and other industrial vehicles. The all-metal construction offers natural resistance to pests and diseases, a characteristic that wooden load carriers currently require additional treatments to achieve. Return cycles, as used with Euro pallets, are unnecessary if the transport brackets are used as disposable components. The brackets' low weight also contributes to fuel savings during shipping. Furthermore, the grating's mesh provides numerous attachment and securing points for fastening devices such as straps and lashing systems.

[0009] Particularly advantageous is the ability to connect multiple transport brackets to the bottom grating of a stacked arrangement of several gratings. All subsequent gratings belonging to the stack can then be placed on top without additional preparation and secured together.

[0010] The U-shaped design of the transport handle allows it to advantageously absorb the weight of the load on the grating and provide the necessary ground clearance for transport. The two tabs on the open side of the transport handle allow it to be connected to the grating. According to the invention, one tab is longer than the other.

[0011] The notches provide additional security for the transport bracket by accommodating a crossbeam of the grating. The notches are particularly advantageous in preventing the transport bracket from slipping under lateral force. Specifically, the notched tabs can absorb these lateral forces.

[0012] According to the invention, the transport bracket is inserted by elastically compressing the open ends of the bracket. This allows the tabs located at the open ends of the transport bracket to be inserted through the mesh of the grating formed by crossbeams and longitudinal beams. This ensures a particularly stable connection between the transport bracket and the grating. In particular, it prevents unintentional disassembly of the transport bracket.

[0013] It is advantageous that the transport bracket and the grating can be connected via at least one plug connection.

[0014] The plug-in connection makes it particularly easy to attach the transport bracket to the grating. The plug-in connection also allows for easy disassembly of the transport bracket.

[0015] Finally, it is part of the invention that the transport bracket has at least one profile groove extending from one end to the other end of the transport bracket, the profile groove forming a channel-like guide.

[0016] The profile ribs advantageously stiffen the transport handle.

[0017] The profiled ribs offer a particularly advantageous channel-like guidance for metal or plastic strapping used to wrap stacks of grating or packages. This guidance prevents the strapping from slipping.

[0018] An embodiment of the transport bracket according to the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to drawings.

[0019] They show Fig. 1 a transport bracket according to the invention in perspective view, Fig. 2 the same transport bracket in side view, Fig. 3 the same transport bracket in top view, Fig. 4 the same transport bracket in a side view rotated by 90°, Fig. 5 a detail view of one tab of the transport bracket, Fig. 6 a detail view of the other tab of the transport bracket, Fig. 7 a cross-section of the transport bracket, Fig. 8 a grating in perspective view, Fig. 9 a grating rotated by 180° in perspective view, Fig. 10 a load carrier, which consists of four transport brackets according to the invention and a grating, in cross-section, Fig. 11 another cross-section of the same load carrier, Fig. 12 the same load carrier in top view, Fig. 13 the same load carrier in a perspective view, Fig. 14 a detail view of the plug connection between the transport bracket according to the invention and the Grating, Fig.Fig. 15 a detailed view of a stacking arrangement with a transport bracket according to the invention, Fig. 16 a stacking arrangement with a transport bracket according to the invention in a side view, Fig. 17 the same stacking arrangement in a side view rotated by 90°, Fig. 18 the same stacking arrangement in a perspective view, Fig. 19 a loading carrier in a perspective view.

[0020] In the Figures 1 to 7 A transport bracket 1 according to the invention is shown. This bracket is U-shaped and has two tabs 4a and 4b on its open side. The two tabs 4a and 4b each have at least one notch 5. The transport bracket 1 has two profile grooves 11 that extend from one end to the other end of the transport bracket 1 and provide a channel-like guide 10 for strapping bands 12 made of metal or plastic.

[0021] In the Figures 8 and 9A grating 8 is shown. This consists of crossbeams 7 and longitudinal beams 6. The intersecting crossbeams 7 and longitudinal beams 6 form the meshes 15 of the grating 8.

[0022] In the Figures 10 to 14Figure 3 shows a load carrier 3, which is composed of four transport brackets 1 according to the invention and a grating 8. The transport bracket 1 serves as a support and retaining structure for the grating 8. The load carrier 3 consists of four transport brackets 1, which are assembled into a grating 8 via plug-in connections 14. For this purpose, at least one notch 5 is located on each of the two tabs 4a and 4b on the open side of the transport bracket 1, into which a cross member 7 of the grating 8 to be connected is received. Since the insertion is achieved by elastically compressing the open side of the bracket, whereby the tabs 4a and 4b located at the open ends of the bracket are inserted through the meshes 15 of the grating 8 created by the intersecting cross members 7 and longitudinal members 6, unintentional disassembly is prevented. Lateral forces can be absorbed by the notched tabs 4a and 4b.

[0023] In the Figures 15 to 18 The load carrier 3 is shown in a stacking arrangement 2. In this stacking arrangement 2, the load carrier carries additional gratings 8. The transport brackets 1 have a channel-like guide 10 for the metal or plastic straps used to strap 12 of the stacking arrangement 2.

[0024] In Figure 19 The loading carrier 3 for transporting packages 13 is shown. The transport brackets 1 have a channel-like guide 10 for the metal or plastic straps used to strap 12 the packages 13.
