Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a lamp holder, in particular for cooking appliance lights, such as G9 lamp holders, with a lampholder, with a base receptacle for the base of a lamp, formed on the top side of the lampholder, with connection contacts for external connection conductors of the power supply on the underside of the lampholder, with a retaining clip by means of which the base of a lamp can be anchored in the base receptacle, with two spring legs of the retaining clip forming a receiving gap for the lamp base between them, each spring leg having a free end and a spring leg end connected to a holding leg and being seated in the base receptacle.
[0002] Generic lamp holders are well known, for example from EP 1 811 227, and are particularly widely used for illuminating the interior of cooking appliances.
[0003] Such lamp sockets have proven themselves in the state of the art and are still widely used as part of cooking appliance lights despite the advent of LED technology. This is due not least to the comparatively low temperature sensitivity of the light source, as well as to the established and cost-effective components and manufacturing methods.
[0004] Nevertheless, the aim is to further simplify the production of generic lamp sockets.
[0005] WO 2010 / 023682 A1 discloses a car lamp in which the connection between the lamp and the lamp base is established by a plug-in process. The lamp has locking projections that are engaged by retaining springs pointing in the direction of insertion.
[0006] EP 1 435 636 A2 shows a G9 lamp with a protective glass covering the lamp. The protective glass is snapped onto a ring element, which in turn is held to the lamp base of the G9 lamp by snap-in legs.
[0007] The object of the invention is firstly achieved by a lamp holder having the features of claim 1, in particular with its characterising features, according to which the holding leg is arranged on the upper side of the socket stone and the free ends of the spring legs are seated in the base receptacle pointing towards the underside of the socket stone the holding clip is part of a fastening ring which is fixed to the socket stone and surrounds the base receptacle the socket stone forms on its upper side a lamp receptacle surrounded by a wall, the base of which forms the base receptacle.
[0008] The essential advantage of the invention is that the retaining clip, which was previously inserted into the setting stone from below, is now inserted into the setting stone from the top.
[0009] This creates free space on the underside of the socket, which is comparatively limited due to the embedded connection contacts. This creates design freedom in the area of the underside of the socket, as the description of an example below will show, which can be used, for example, for optimized base ventilation of the lamp seated in the socket.
[0010] Such mounting rings are also well known from the aforementioned prior art. In conjunction with a mounting flange, they secure the lamp socket in the recess of a cooking chamber wall. For this purpose, the cooking chamber wall is held between the mounting flange and a counter-bearing, usually a detent spring. Incorporating the retaining clip into this mounting ring reduces the number of components to be assembled. This lowers manufacturing costs and simplifies production processes.
[0011] It is provided that the setting stone forms a fastening contour on its upper side for the holding leg that fixes the spring leg to the setting stone, in particular if each spring leg is connected to a holding leg, the fastening contour is a holding slot machined on the upper side towards the underside of the setting stone, the holding slot is arranged next to the base receptacle.
[0012] In this embodiment, the invention proposes to fix each spring leg separately in the setting stone, wherein the holding legs of each spring leg are to be fixed in the fixing contour in a force-fitting manner, but preferably in a form-fitting manner.
[0013] It may well be intended that the spring legs are only connected to the fastening ring for the assembly process and are then separated from the fastening ring in a subsequent assembly step using a suitable tool to prevent an electrically conductive connection between the spring legs of the retaining clip and the fastening ring. During such a release process, the tool can anchor the retaining legs in a force- or form-fitting manner in the corresponding fastening contours of the setting stone, for example, by deforming the material.
[0014] However, it is also conceivable that the spring legs connected to the retaining ring are equipped with retaining arms that are anchored in the mounting contours by positive or non-positive engagement when the mounting ring is inserted into the setting stone. To separate the spring legs, any existing material bridges between the spring legs and / or retaining legs and the mounting ring are then severed.
[0015] Electrical safety can be supplemented or alternatively achieved by providing the fastening ring with a protective conductor connection.
[0016] It is intended that the socket stone forms a lamp holder surrounded by a wall on its upper side, the bottom of which forms the base holder, particularly if the wall forms fixing cavities on its inner surface into which fixing lugs of the fixing ring engage.
[0017] With the help of the fixing cavities, into which the fixing lugs of the fixing ring engage, the fixing ring can be fixed to the setting stone particularly easily, permanently and with stable force.
[0018] It is further provided that the wall has locking openings through which locking wings of the fastening ring penetrate and that the wall forms a mounting flange, wherein a cooking chamber wall can be arranged between the locking wings and the mounting flange for holding the socket.
[0019] A further reduction in the number of components is achieved if the fastening ring carries at least one holding means for a lamp glass, wherein the holding means is a bayonet projection.
[0020] Further advantages of the invention and a better understanding will become apparent from the following description of an exemplary embodiment. It shows: Fig. 1 Exploded view of a cooking appliance light with lamp socket according to the invention, Fig. 2 the fastening ring in Figure 1 shown lamp socket in perspective, Fig. 3 the fastening ring after Figure 2 in view from above, Fig. 4 the fastening ring according to Figure 3 in sectional view according to section line IV-IV in Figure 3 , Fig. 5 a side view of the frame according to the invention, Fig. 6 a sectional view of the lamp holder according to section line VI-VI in Figure 5 , Fig. 7 the representation according to Figure 6 with inserted lamp, Fig. 8 the representation of the lamp holder according to the invention in a view of its top side and Fig. 9 the representation of the lamp holder according to the invention in a view of its underside.
[0021] In the figures, a cooking appliance light is provided with the reference number 10.
[0022] The cooking appliance light 10 is in Figure 1shown in exploded view and comprises a lamp glass 11, a lamp 12, here designed as a G9 lamp, and a lamp socket, generally designated by the reference number 13.
[0023] The lamp socket 13 is initially formed by a socket stone 14, which carries a fastening ring 15, holds a protective conductor connection 16 and accommodates socket contacts 17 and connection contacts 18.
[0024] The mounting ring 15 and the protective conductor connection are arranged on the top side of the socket 14. The socket contacts 17 and the connection contacts 18 are accommodated in the sockets 19 on the underside of the socket 14.
[0025] The lamp 12 has a lamp bulb 20 and an adjoining lamp base 21, the latter carrying two base contacts 22.
[0026] The Figure 5 , 8 and 9 show the setting stone 14. Figure 5 shows a side view, Figure 8 a view from above and Figure 9 a view of the underside of the setting stone 14.
[0027] Out of Figure 5 It can be seen that the socket 14 has two nozzles 19 on its underside. Between these nozzles 19, a ventilation gap 23 is formed, which enables cooling of a lamp base 21 inserted in the socket 14. With respect to the drawing plane of the Figure 5 Behind the nozzle 19, the protective conductor connection 16 can be seen, which is inserted into the socket stone 14 from the top.
[0028] The socket stone 14 forms a socket base 24, from which the nozzles 19 extend towards the underside and on which an annular wall 25 is placed in the opposite direction, which carries a mounting flange 26 at its upper end.
[0029] Vertically between the mounting flange 26 and the socket base 24, the annular wall 25 surrounds a receiving space 27 in which the fastening ring and the lamp 12 are seated and which receives the lamp collar 28 serving to fix the lamp glass 11 to the socket stone 14.
[0030] Figure 1 shows in connection with Figure 5 that the annular wall 25 has detent spring openings 29 in two diametrically opposite sections, from which detent springs 30 of the fastening ring 15 emerge.
[0031] Figure 8 shows a view from above of the setting stone 14, i.e. a view of the top of the setting base 24. It is made of Figure 8It is immediately apparent that the mounting flange 26 surrounds an insertion opening 31 through which the receiving space 27 is accessible, whereas the socket base 24 delimits this receiving space at the bottom. In addition to the detent spring openings 29, the annular wall 25 of the socket stone 14 has two diametrically opposed grooves 32 at a circumferential angle offset by 90°, into which the fastening arms 33 for holding the lamp glass 11 are inserted.
[0032] A base receptacle 34 is incorporated into the socket base 24, extending like a blind hole toward the socket underside and into which the lamp base 21 of the lamp 12 is to be inserted. The base receptacle 34 has an approximately rectangular cross-section and is enclosed by two opposing end walls 35 and two likewise opposing transverse walls 36. The transverse walls 36 each have a spring aperture 37, which is arranged approximately centrally in each transverse wall 36 and serves to pass through a spring leg 38 of a retaining clip 39.
[0033] The respective spring aperture 37 extends into a bearing bay 40. Each bearing bay 40 has a protective conductor receptacle 41 through which the protective conductor terminal 16 is inserted and in which it is held. Part of each bearing bay 40 is a slotted receptacle 42 parallel to the transverse wall. One of the bearing bays 40 contains a stabilizing pin 43 projecting toward the top, the function of which will be explained later.
[0034] In the view of the underside of the setting stone 14 in Figure 9 First, the nozzles 19 can be seen, which protrude from the underside of the socket base 24 toward the viewer. Each nozzle 19 is provided with a contact cavity 44, in which the connection and socket contacts 18, 17 (not shown here) are arranged.
[0035] The ventilation gap 23 extending between the nozzles 19 is also clearly visible in this illustration.
[0036] Based on Figure 9 It is particularly clear that the locking springs 30 extend outwards through the locking spring openings 29 and project outwards from the annular wall 25, so that they are arranged below the mounting flange 26. Finally, Figure 9 a coding rib 45, which is arranged on the outer circumference of the ring wall 25 and serves for the correct alignment of the mounting stone 14 in a cooking chamber wall. The spring legs 38 of the fastening ring 15, which are seated in the mounting stone 14, extend with their free ends within the base receptacle 34 to the underside of the mounting stone 14, i.e. in the direction of the viewer of the Figure 9 and are in the area of the ventilation gap 23 within the base receptacles 34 in Figure 9 to recognize.
[0037] The Figures 2 to 4 now show the fastening ring 15 in different views. Figure 2 is a perspective view of the top of the mounting ring 15. Figure 3 is a top view of the fastening ring 15, whereas Figure 4 a sectional view according to section line IV-IV in Figure 3 represents.
[0038] The fastening ring 15 initially comprises a base plate 46, which is inserted into the Figure 2 and 3 The underside facing away from the viewer faces the socket base 24 and rests on the same. The base plate 46 has a central recess 47 which, when correctly mounted in the socket stone 14, is aligned with the socket receptacle 34 and through which the lamp base 21 can be inserted into the socket receptacle 34.
[0039] In the present embodiment of the invention, the retaining clip 39 is integrated into the fastening ring 15, so that the base plate 46, to which the spring legs 38 of the retaining clip 39 are connected, takes over the function of the retaining leg.
[0040] Each spring leg 38 is connected to a stabilizing web 48 which is bent away from the base plate 46 in the direction of the underside of the socket stone 14 and is aligned parallel to the respective adjacent transverse wall 36 of the base receptacle 34.
[0041] The locking springs 30 of the fastening ring 15 and the fastening arms 33 for holding the lamp glass 11 are then formed on the outer circumference of the base plate 46. In addition, the outer edge of the fastening ring 15 carries fixing lugs 49 to the right and left of each fixing arm 33. These correspond to corresponding fixing cavities 50, which are machined on the inner circumference into the ring wall 25 of the fastening ring 15, as shown in FIG. Figure 1shows. Elasticity cuts 51 are each introduced into the base plate 46 between a fixing lug 49 and the adjacent fastening arm 33 in order to increase the spring travel of the fastening arm 33, which offers advantages with regard to the fastening of the lamp glass 11, which, however, will not be explained further here.
[0042] In particular, based on the sectional view according to Figure 4 It is made clear once again that the spring legs 38 extend from the base plate 46 of the fastening ring 15 in the direction of the underside of the setting stone and that the stabilizing webs 38 are also formed from the base plate 46 in the direction of the underside of the setting stone 14.
[0043] In contrast, both the locking springs 30 and the fastening arms 33 and finally the fixing lugs 49 point in the opposite direction and also have their respective origin on the base plate 46.
[0044] The Figure 6and 7 , Sectional views of the setting stone 14 according to section line VI-VI in Figure 5 show the fastening ring 15 inserted into the receiving space 27 of the setting stone 14, in the case of Figure 7 by adding the lamp 12.
[0045] The fastening ring 15 is inserted from the top of the socket into the receiving space 27 of the socket stone 14, whereby the fastening arms 33 engage with the grooves 32 ( Figure 8 ) and the locking springs 30 with the locking spring openings 29 ( Figure 8). While the fastening arms 33 are merely frictionally engaged in the grooves 32, the detent springs 30 engage through the respective associated detent spring aperture 29 and thus support a positive locking of the fastening ring 15 in the socket stone 14. The actual fastening of the fastening ring 15, however, is achieved by the interaction of the fixing lugs 49 with the fixing cavities 50, into which the former engage and thus ensure a positive locking of the fastening ring 15 in the socket stone 14. The spring legs 38 engage through the respective spring aperture 37 of each transverse wall 36 into the base receptacle 34 and point with the respective free spring leg end towards the underside of the socket stone 14 or the underside of the lamp socket 13.
[0046] The stabilizing bars 48, to which the spring legs 38 are connected, are seated in the respective slotted receptacle ( Figure 8), whereby the level of observation of the Figure 6 and 7 The right stabilizing web 48 is supported on the stabilizing pin 43. The left stabilizing web 48 does not have a stabilizing pin 43, since in the present embodiment it is supported against the protective conductor connection 16, which here assumes the function of the stabilizing pin 43.
[0047] The Figure 7 The lamp 12 shown additionally now shows the action of the retaining clip 39 with its spring legs 38. The lamp base 21, inserted into the base receptacle 34, spreads the spring arms outward, whose restoring elasticity exerts a force directed against the base and engages behind the base ribs 52 formed on the base. In this way, protection is achieved against the lamp 12 falling out. Figure 7Furthermore, it illustrates the function of the stabilizing pin 43 and the stabilizing bar 48. The outwardly directed spreading forces of the lamp base 21 are absorbed by the stabilizing pin 43, so that the spring legs 38 can apply high pressure forces to the lamp base 21 in order to anchor it securely in the socket stone 14. In the case of the drawing planes of Figure 6 and 7 On the left-hand side of the stabilizing web 48, the function of the stabilizing pin 43 is taken over by the protective conductor connection 16, which, however, is merely an advantageous embodiment of this specific embodiment. It is entirely conceivable to provide a stabilizing pin 43 there as well and to ensure the electrical contact between the fastening ring 15 and the protective conductor connection 16 in another way.
[0048] Based on the above description, it is readily apparent that the modified arrangement of the retaining clip 39 initially creates installation space on the underside of the base, since only the socket and connection contacts 17, 18 need to be arranged there. At the same time, it has become apparent that the modified arrangement of the retaining clip 39 enables improved ventilation of the lamp base 21 by introducing a ventilation gap 23 into the underside of the socket, which increases the service life of the lamp 12, particularly under the extreme temperatures found in cooking appliances.
[0049] The integration of the retaining clip 39 into the fastening ring 15, which is known and required for generic sockets in various shapes, leads to a reduction in the number of components, which simplifies production and assembly.
[0050] Various modifications of the invention are readily conceivable based on the drawings. For example, the fastening clip 39—without being part of a fastening ring 15—can also be inserted into the setting stone 14 from above. The base plate 46 of the fastening ring 15 would be correspondingly reduced in diameter and would not carry all additional components such as detent springs 30 and fastening arms 33. It would then contain only the spring legs 38, which do not even necessarily have to be arranged on the base plate 46 via stabilizing webs 48, but could be arranged above them.
[0051] It is also conceivable to separate the retaining clip 39 into a single component. It is quite conceivable that each stabilizing bar 48 carries a spring leg 38, and these—without the other parts of the fastening ring 15 and also without the base plate 46—are inserted into the slotted receptacles 42 and anchored there with a positive or non-positive fit. The advantageous rearrangement of the retaining clip 39 would thus be retained, even if the reduction in component size is not realized.
[0052] Finally, it is conceivable to retain the retaining clip 39 as an integration into the fastening ring 15 and to assemble the fastening ring 15 as described above. In a second step, however, the connection between the base plate 46 and the spring legs 38 can then be severed, for example, by detaching the stabilizing webs 48 from the base plate 46, which can then be held in the socket 14 with a positive or non-positive fit. This can further improve electrical safety, especially if a protective conductor connection 16 is omitted.
[0053] Overall, the invention therefore shows an advantageous redesign of a lamp socket for a cooking appliance, in particular a G9 lamp socket, as is frequently used in cooking appliances such as ovens, steamers, microwaves, etc. List of reference symbols
