Abstract
Description
[0001] The present invention relates to a roller tool for a soil cultivation roller of a soil cultivation machine.
[0002] From EP 3 093 393 A1, a roller tool for a soil cultivation roller is known, comprising a tool holder whose mounting area is fixed by welding to an outer circumferential surface of a roller shell of a soil cultivation roller. The one-piece tool holder has a tool holder opening into which a tool shank, for example a chisel, is inserted by moving it along a longitudinal axis of the opening and locked in place. The tool can be pressed out of the tool holder opening by means of a tool that is inserted through a lateral opening in the tool holder and positioned behind the tool shank.
[0003] From DE 10 2013 217 042 A1, a roller tool for a soil cultivation machine is known, comprising a tool holder whose mounting area is fixed by welding to an outer circumferential surface of a roller shell of a soil cultivation roller. The tool holder has a tool holder opening into which a tool shank, for example a chisel, is inserted by moving it along the longitudinal axis of the tool holder opening. To lock the tool to the tool holder, end caps are inserted into lateral openings provided in the tool holder from both sides. These end caps seal the lateral openings in the tool holder against the ingress of contaminants and engage with the tool shank, thereby locking the tool to the tool holder.
[0004] From DE 10 2013 113 330 A1, a roller tool according to the preamble of claim 1 is known. A tool carrier of this roller tool has an insertion recess with two undercuts open to each other on opposite sides, into which a tool holder with two engagement projections formed on an insertion projection of the tool holder can be inserted. By means of a clamping element acting between the tool carrier and the tool holder, the tool holder with its insertion projections received in the undercuts is pressed against the tool carrier and clamped to the tool carrier by friction.
[0005] The object of the present invention is to provide a roller tool for a soil cultivation roller of a soil cultivation machine in which an interchangeable tool can be reliably fixed to an interchangeable holder and can be easily detached from the interchangeable holder even after a longer period of operation.
[0006] According to the invention, this problem is solved by a roller tool for a soil cultivation roller of a soil cultivation machine, comprising a tool carrier to be fixed to an outer circumferential side of a carrier shell, with a connection area for fixed connection of the tool carrier to an outer circumferential surface of the carrier shell and a tool holder clamping area, a tool holder with a tool holder shank elongated in the direction of a shank longitudinal axis, a tool holder with a tool holder opening elongated in the direction of an opening longitudinal axis for receiving the tool holder shank of the tool holder detachably fixed to the tool holder and with a tool holder counter-clamping area, wherein the tool holder counter-clamping area is to be brought into clamping interaction with the tool holder clamping area for detachably fixing the tool holder to the tool carrier, a clamping element to be supported to generate the clamping interaction with respect to the tool carrier and the tool holder.
[0007] To protect the tool holder, which is to be fixed to a carrier shell, against external influences, the interchangeable holder comprises an interchangeable holder body with a tool holder receiving recess that essentially completely accommodates the tool holder.
[0008] By using a clamping element, which allows a respective tool holder to be brought into clamping interaction with a tool carrier fixed to a carrier shell, both the process of releasably fixing a tool holder to a tool carrier can be carried out in a simple manner, as can the process of removing a tool holder from a tool carrier by simply positioning the clamping element in a clamping state that generates the clamping interaction or removing it from this state.
[0009] To generate the clamping interaction, the tool holder clamping area on the tool carrier can include a tool carrier clamping recess, wherein the tool carrier clamping recess is bounded by a first clamping surface and a second clamping surface opposite the first clamping surface, and the tool holder counter-clamping area on the tool holder can include a tool holder clamping projection to be positioned engaging in the tool carrier clamping recess, wherein a first counter-clamping surface is provided on the tool holder clamping projection, which is to be brought into contact with the first clamping surface by means of the clamping element to generate the clamping interaction, and wherein a second counter-clamping surface is provided on the clamping element, which is to be brought into contact with the second clamping surface to generate the clamping interaction.
[0010] In order to provide a reliable clamping interaction, particularly in a radially outward direction with respect to a roller rotation axis, it is proposed that the first clamping surface and the second clamping surface are inclined towards each other in a direction away from the connection area, or / and that the first clamping surface and the second clamping surface are inclined towards each other in a direction orthogonal to the direction away from the connection area, or / and that the first clamping surface, the second clamping surface, the first counter-clamping surface and the second counter-clamping surface are essentially uncurved.
[0011] In a particularly advantageous embodiment, a third clamping surface can be provided on the interchangeable tool shank, and a third counter-clamping surface, which is brought into contact with the third clamping surface to generate the clamping interaction, can be provided on the clamping element. In this way, the interchangeable tool is also included in the clamping interaction, so that a single clamping element can both detachably fix an interchangeable holder to a tool carrier by generating the clamping interaction, and detachably fix an interchangeable tool involved in this clamping interaction to the interchangeable holder and thus also to the tool carrier.
[0012] For this purpose, for example, a tool clamping recess, open essentially transversely to the longitudinal axis of the shaft and providing the third clamping surface, can be provided on the interchangeable tool shaft.
[0013] The third clamping surface can, for example, be concavely curved, and the third counter-clamping surface can be convexly curved in a complementary manner to the third clamping surface.
[0014] In order to bring the clamping element into clamping interaction with the various system areas to be clamped on the one hand, and to position it stably on the change holder on the other hand, it is proposed that the clamping element has a clamping element shaft elongated in the direction of a clamping element longitudinal axis and, for example, a clamping element head, and that the clamping element shaft is designed to taper at least in some areas in the direction of the clamping element longitudinal axis, for example, away from the clamping element head.
[0015] In particular, when providing the convexly curved third counter-clamping surface on the clamping element shaft, the convexly curved third counter-clamping surface can, for example, provide the structure of the clamping element shaft that tapers in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the shaft, essentially have the shape of a circumferential section of a truncated cone.
[0016] For attaching and securing the clamping element to the change holder, a clamping element through-hole and a fastening element through-hole opposite the clamping element through-hole can be provided in the change holder, wherein, in order to generate the clamping interaction, the clamping element must be positioned passing through the clamping element through-hole and a fastening element holding the clamping element in the clamping element through-hole must be positioned passing through the fastening element through-hole.
[0017] In order to provide a stable fastening interaction between the clamping element and the fastening element, it is proposed that a fastening thread area be provided on the clamping element, and that a counter-fastening thread area be provided on the fastening element to hold the clamping element in the clamping element through-hole in thread engagement with the fastening thread area.
[0018] For example, the fastening thread area can include an internal thread formed in an opening of the clamping element, and the counter-fastening thread area can include an external thread formed on a fastening element shaft of the fastening element.
[0019] In such a design, the change-holder clamping projection can extend from the change-holder body into the tool holder receiving recess.
[0020] The invention further relates to a soil cultivation roller comprising a plurality of roller tools constructed according to the invention, wherein the tool carriers of the roller tools are firmly attached to a carrier shell by screwing or welding, preferably by a weld seam which essentially surrounds the connection area of a respective tool carrier without interruption.
[0021] The carrier jacket can be a roller jacket of the soil cultivation roller or a covering jacket to be arranged around the roller jacket of the soil cultivation roller.
[0022] The invention further relates to a soil cultivation machine comprising at least one soil cultivation roller constructed according to the invention.

[0024] In Fig. 1 A soil cultivation roller for a soil cultivation machine, for example, constructed like a soil compactor, is generally designated by 10. The soil cultivation roller 10 comprises a roller shell 12 surrounding a roller axis of rotation A, with an outer circumferential surface 14. A plurality of tool holders 16 for interchangeable holders of roller tools, generally designated by 18 and generally designated by 20, are fixed to the outer circumferential surface 14 of the roller shell 12 by bolting or welding. The tool holders 16 are arranged successively in a plurality of rings in the circumferential direction, with, for example, the tool holders 16 arranged in rings immediately successive in the axial direction being offset from one another in the circumferential direction.
[0025] The Fig. 2 The soil cultivation roller 10 shows Fig. 1 with the complete roller tools 20. These include, in addition to the tool carriers 16 fixed to the roller shell 12 by welding, interchangeable tools 24 held on interchangeable holders 18 and designed in the form of chisels.
[0026] At the in Fig. 3 The soil cultivation roller 10 shown comprises the roller tools 20 carried on the change holders 18, roller tools 24' in the form of pad feet.
[0027] Before discussing in more detail the construction of the roller tools 20, i.e., the construction of the tool holders 18 and the tool changers 24 or 24', it should be noted that in the following, Fig. 1 bis 3 In the depicted soil cultivation rollers 10, the tool holders 18 of the roller tools 20 are fixed directly to the roller shell 12, which provides a support shell 26. In an alternative embodiment, a covering shell, for example constructed with a plurality of shell segments, could be used as the support shell 26, which can be arranged around the roller shell 12 of such a soil cultivation roller 10 as required.
[0028] The Fig. 4 shows one in the Fig. 2 and 3 The roller tool 20, shown attached to a soil cultivation roller 10, is shown in an exploded view with the two different types of interchangeable tools 24, 24'. In addition to the interchangeable tools 24, 24', the other essential system components are visible: tool carrier 16, tool holder 18, as well as a clamping element 28 (described in more detail below) and an associated fastening element 30.
[0029] The tool holder 16, which is to be fixed to the outer circumferential surface 14 of the support shell 26, for example the roller shell 12, by material closure, in particular welding, is in the Fig. 5 und 6 The tool carrier 16 comprises a substantially plate-like connection area 32, which is curved to match the circularly curved outer circumferential contour of the carrier shell 26 and is surrounded by a chamfer 34. A weld seam, with which the connection area 32 can be bonded to the outer circumferential surface 14 in a material-fit manner, can be produced by essentially completely surrounding the connection area 32 and engaging in the chamfer 34, thus creating a stable mounting of the tool carrier 16.
[0030] The tool carrier 16 has a tool carrier clamping recess 36 designed such that it is open in a direction R1 away from the connection area 32, which essentially corresponds to a direction radial with respect to the roller rotation axis A, and also in a direction R2, which is essentially orthogonal to direction R1 and essentially parallel to the roller rotation axis A. The tool carrier clamping recess is bounded by a first clamping surface 38 and a second clamping surface 40 opposite it. The opposing clamping surfaces 38 and 40 are, as the Fig. 6 clearly shows that they are inclined to each other in such a way that in the direction R 1 away from the connection area 32 their mutual distance decreases, i.e. when attached to a soil cultivation roller 10 essentially a circumferential distance with respect to the roller rotation axis A.
[0031] The two clamping surfaces 38, 40 are preferably positioned relative to each other such that their mutual distance in the direction R 2 is not constant, but also decreases in this direction R 2. In particular, the embodiment can be such that the distance between the two clamping surfaces 38, 40 relative to each other in the direction R 2 is shown in the illustration of the Fig. 5 The angle decreases slightly from the front right to the rear left. Furthermore, the two clamping surfaces 38, 40 are preferably designed as flat, essentially uncurved surfaces.
[0032] The one in the Fig. 7 bis 9 The illustrated change holder 18 is designed with a hood- or cap-like change holder body 42. In the Fig. 15 and 17The changeover holder body 42 completely covers the tool carrier 16 and the weld seam connecting it to the carrier shell 26, thus protecting the tool carrier 16 against external influences, as the attachment state of the changeover holder 18 on the tool carrier 16 is clearly recognizable, so that the tool carrier 16 is protected against external influences.
[0033] On two angled end faces 44, 46 of the interchangeable holder body 42, which are oriented circumferentially with respect to the axis of rotation A of the roller when attached to a soil cultivation roller 10, outwardly projecting breaking projections 48, 50 are provided, which support the work process to be carried out by an interchangeable tool 24 designed as a chisel, in particular when an interchangeable tool 24 is used.
[0034] A tool holder opening 52 is formed in the tool holder 18 or in the tool holder body 42. This opening is elongated in the direction of a longitudinal axis L of the opening which is oriented essentially orthogonally to the roller rotation axis A and thus extends radially with respect to this axis, and is surrounded by an annular support surface 54. A tool body 56 of the tool holder 24 or 24' can be supported on this support surface by a counter-support surface 60 which surrounds a tool holder shank 58 of the same tool holder in an annular manner.
[0035] On the changeover holder 18 or changeover holder body 42 there is a Fig. 9 A recognizable change-holder clamping projection 62 is formed. This extends into a tool holder receiving recess 64 surrounded by the change-holder body.
[0036] On the interchangeable holder clamping projection 62, in relation to the first clamping surface 38 of the tool carrier 16, there is a substantially straight profile formed and in the Fig. 15 and17 A recognizable first counter-clamping surface 66 is formed. Corresponding to the angle of the first clamping surface 38, the first counter-clamping surface 66 is also angled and thus inclined with respect to the longitudinal opening axis L such that the distance of the first counter-clamping surface 66 from the support surface 54 increases in the direction of the longitudinal opening axis L. With the clamping interaction between the tool holder 16 and the tool changer 18 produced in the manner described below, the first clamping surface 38 and the first counter-clamping surface 66 are in planar contact with each other.
[0037] In the inventive construction of a roller tool 20, the tool carrier clamping recess 36 and the two clamping surfaces 38, 40 limiting the tool carrier clamping recess 36 essentially provide a change-holder clamping area 41 of the tool carrier 16, while the change-tool clamping projection 62 essentially provides a change-holder counter-clamping area 43 of the change-holder 18 with its first counter-clamping surface 66.
[0038] The in the Fig. 10 and 11 The clamping element 28 shown is designed with a clamping element shaft 68 elongated in the direction of a clamping element longitudinal axis K and a clamping element head 70. Associated with the clamping element 28, a clamping element through-opening 72 with a clamping element head receiving area 74 is formed in the changeable holder body 42, in which, as shown in Fig. 18 It is evident that the clamping organ head 70 can be essentially completely received and supported with respect to the change holder body 42.
[0039] Opposite the clamping element through-opening 72, a fastening element through-opening 76 is formed in the changeable holder body 42, through which the fastening element 30 with a fastening element shaft 78 can be passed for fastening interaction with the clamping element 28. For receiving a fastening element head 80, the fastening element through-opening 76 has an enlarged fastening element head receiving area 82.
[0040] The clamping element 28 has a second counter-clamping surface 84 on its clamping element shaft 68, corresponding to the second clamping surface 40 of the tool carrier 16. The second counter-clamping surface 84, like the second clamping surface 40, is essentially flat, i.e., uncurved, so that in the Fig. 17 In the illustrated assembly state, the clamping element 28 with its second counter-clamping surface 84 is in planar contact with the second clamping surface 40. To support a defined positioning of the clamping element 28, it can, for example, have a retaining surface 86 orthogonal to the second counter-clamping surface 84, which can be supported in a radially inward direction on a counter-retaining surface 89 formed on the tool carrier 16 and arranged essentially orthogonally to the second clamping surface 40.
[0041] A third counter-clamping surface 88 is formed on the clamping element shaft 68 in a circumferential region opposite the second counter-clamping surface 84 with respect to the longitudinal axis K of the clamping element. The third counter-clamping surface 88 has a contour that is convexly curved about the longitudinal axis K of the clamping element.
[0042] The clamping element 28, particularly in the region of its clamping element shaft 68, is designed with a generally wedge-shaped structure such that the clamping element shaft 68 has a tapered contour away from the clamping element head 70 in the direction of the clamping element's longitudinal axis K. This means that the second counter-clamping surface 84 has a decreasing distance to the clamping element's longitudinal axis K in the direction away from the clamping element head 70. The same applies to the third counter-clamping surface 88. Due to its convex structure, this surface is designed, for example, with the contour of a circumferential segment of a truncated cone, so that the radius of curvature of the third counter-clamping surface 88 with respect to the clamping element's longitudinal axis K decreases in the direction away from the clamping element head 70, for example, with a substantially circular curvature.
[0043] The Fig. 10 and 11The figures further show that an opening 90 is formed in the clamping element shaft 68, which is open in the direction of the clamping element longitudinal axis K in the direction away from the clamping element head 70. An internal thread providing a fastening thread area 92 is formed in the opening 90. An external thread providing a mating fastening thread area 94 is provided on the fastening element shaft 78 of the fastening element 30, so that, to secure the clamping element 28, the fastening element 30 with its fastening element shaft 78 or the external thread provided thereon is engaged in the internal thread in the opening 90 of the clamping element shaft 68 in the direction shown in Fig. 18 It can be screwed in in a recognizable way.
[0044] At the one in the Fig. 12 and 13The interchangeable tool shank 58 of the interchangeable tool 24 or 24', visible in side view and which may be stepped and cylindrical to facilitate easy insertion into the tool holder opening 52, has an interchangeable tool clamping recess 94 that is essentially open transversely to a shank longitudinal axis S. This recess is concave in a complementary manner to the third counter-clamping surface 88 and provides a correspondingly curved third clamping surface 96. The third clamping surface 96 can also be tapered in a truncated cone shape in one direction, essentially orthogonal or oblique to the shank longitudinal axis S, corresponding to the frustoconical or conical tapering contour of the third counter-clamping surface 88, so that, in the assembled state, a planar contact is achieved between the third counter-clamping surface 88 and the third clamping surface 96.
[0045] To assemble a roller tool 20, the various components of which have been described above, the following procedure can be used: First, a tool holder 18 is brought radially outward from the outside of the carrier shell 26, overlapping an associated tool carrier 16. The tool holder's clamping projection 62 then engages in the tool carrier's clamping recess 36. The tool holder 18 can be positioned, for example, such that its first counter-clamping surface 66 is already in contact with the first clamping surface 38 or is located a short distance away from it. Furthermore, in this state, the tool holder 18 can rest against the connection area 32 of the tool carrier 16 with an end face 98 formed on the tool holder's clamping projection 62 and oriented essentially orthogonally to the longitudinal axis L of the opening.
[0046] Before or after the previously described positioning of the tool holder 18 relative to a tool carrier 16, the tool holder 24 can already be inserted into the tool holder opening 52, such that its tool shank 58 is positioned engaging in the tool holder opening 52. The tool holder 24 or 24' is positioned circumferentially with respect to the longitudinal axis L of the opening such that the tool holder clamping recess 94 is oriented away from the first counter-clamping surface 66 provided on the tool holder clamping projection 62. This orientation of the tool holder clamping recess 94 can alternatively also be achieved by rotating the tool holder 24 or 24' even if the tool holder 18 is already positioned on the tool carrier 16.
[0047] The clamping element 28, with its clamping element shaft 68, is then guided through the clamping element through-opening 72 in the tool holder body 42 in such a way that the second counter-clamping surface 84 is opposite the second clamping surface 40, and the holding surface 86 is opposite or abuts the counter-holding surface 89. This automatically orients the clamping element 28 so that the third counter-clamping surface 88 formed on it is opposite the third clamping surface 96 on the tool holder shaft 58.
[0048] When the clamping element 28 is moved in the direction of its longitudinal axis K through the clamping element's through-opening 72, an increasing contact pressure is generated between the second clamping surface 40 and the second counter-clamping surface 84 on the one hand, and the third clamping surface 96 and the third counter-clamping surface 88 on the other. This exerts a force on the tool holder 58 that acts essentially orthogonally to its longitudinal axis S. This force presses the tool holder 58, with a circumferential surface area 100 opposite the tool holder clamping recess 94 in the circumferential direction with respect to the longitudinal axis S of the tool holder, against a circumferential surface area 102 of the tool holder 18 that is opposite this circumferential surface area and delimits the tool holder opening 52. This presses the tool holder 58, with its first counter-clamping surface 66, against the first clamping surface 38 on the tool carrier 16.
[0049] The clamping element 28, which is supported directly with respect to the tool holder 16 and indirectly with respect to the tool holder 18 via the tool holder 24, 24' or the tool holder shank 58, generates a clamping interaction that results in both a stable mounting of the tool holder 18 on the tool holder 16 and a stable mounting of the tool holder 24, 24' on the tool holder 18. Since the clamping surfaces 38, 40 provided on the tool holder 16 are inclined radially outwards towards each other, a force acting radially inwards on the tool holder 18 with respect to the tool holder 16 is simultaneously generated, so that the tool holder 18 is supported radially inwards in the area of its end face 98 on the tool holder 16 or its connection area 32, but with its surrounding orThe shielding change holder body 42 does not touch the outer circumferential surface 14 of the carrier shell 26, thus forming a gap-like space 104 to it.
[0050] By adjusting the second clamping surface 40 and the resulting adjustment of the second counter-clamping surface 84 with respect to the opening longitudinal axis L or the shank longitudinal axis S, the clamping element 28 not only presses the interchangeable tool shank 58 essentially orthogonally to its shank longitudinal axis S against the tool holder 18, but also generates a force component directed towards the interchangeable tool shank 58 in the direction of the shank longitudinal axis S towards the connection area 32 of the tool carrier 16. This, in turn, causes the interchangeable tool 24 or 24' to be pressed with the counter-support surface 60 formed on the interchangeable tool body 56 against the support surface 54 formed on the tool holder 18. To enable this, a recess or opening 106 accommodating the axial end region of the interchangeable tool shank 58 can be formed in the connection area 32 of the tool carrier 16.
[0051] The clamping action of the various system areas of the roller tool 20, caused by the wedge action of the clamping element 28, can be generated in a particularly simple manner by screwing the fastening element 30 with its external thread into the internal thread of the clamping element 28 after the clamping element 28 has been fully inserted into the tool holder 18 as described above. This increases the clamping element 28 in the direction of its longitudinal axis K until maximum clamping force is achieved. In this state, the clamping element head 70 can, for example, be supported on the tool holder 18 in the direction of its longitudinal axis K or may still have a slight gap from it. The fastening element head 80 is supported on the tool holder 18 in the fastening element head receiving area 82.
[0052] While the defined contact interaction between the first clamping surface 38 and the first counter-clamping surface 66 precisely determines the position of the tool holder 18 relative to the tool carrier 16 in the circumferential direction with respect to the roll rotation axis A, the tool holder 18 can be slightly displaced relative to the tool carrier 16 in the direction of the roll rotation axis A before the clamping interaction is generated. This is possible if the counter-clamping area 43 or the tool holder clamping projection 62 has a slightly larger extent in the direction of the roll rotation axis A than the tool carrier 16 in the area of its tool holder clamping area 41 or its two clamping surfaces 38, 40. Thus, fine adjustment of the tool holder 18 in the direction of the roll rotation axis is possible.
[0053] In the roller tool constructed according to the invention, the attachment and removal of an interchangeable tool holder from an associated tool carrier is made possible by structurally simple measures. In particular, the interchangeable tool holder and the tool carrier can be designed as forged components, whereby the surfaces to be brought into contact with each other can be provided, for example, by machining with high precision. The interchangeable tool holder can be designed with a substantially constant wall thickness in the area of its holder body and thus provide reliable protection for the associated tool carrier, which is to be attached to a carrier shell in a material-fit manner.
