[0005] Furthermore, the present invention relates to a doll with the aforementioned system. Background of the invention
[0006] It has been shown that interactive dolls contribute positively to a child's educational development due to the wide variety of influences they offer. For example, dolls can take liquid from specially designed containers, thus simulating drinking from a bottle. With familiar doll models, this liquid can be used to optionally create watery eyes by applying pressure to the doll's torso. It is also possible to feed dolls with specially prepared porridge or small segments, such as plastic chips. The liquid and / or porridge can be used to simulate controlled excretions, either small or large. A potty or a diaper, which the child playing with the doll can put on and change, can be used for this purpose.Movable doll arms and / or legs simplify dressing and undressing. The doll's surface can also be made soft to provide a pleasant feel for the child playing with it. Furthermore, the dolls can be bathed without damaging the other mechanisms. The aforementioned features should be considered and retained in the overall design of the doll.
[0007] Children enjoy the sense of responsibility they experience while playing with interactive dolls, which can help develop their sense of responsibility. Therefore, there is a need to further develop dolls and equip them with more functions so that they can be modeled more realistically.
[0008] DE 692 15 519 T2 discloses a doll which has a body with a head provided with at least one eye, which eye has a pivotable eyeball which is pivotably held in a housing, wherein a first arm extends away from a base body of the eyeball, and with a solenoid which has a movable solenoid bolt, characterized in that the solenoid has a second arm which is movable by the solenoid bolt for effective actuation of the first arm such that the first arm causes the eyeball to pivot from a first position to a second position when the doll is in a substantially horizontal position.
[0009] FR 2 042 177 A5 describes a mechanism for animating the face of dolls, particularly talking dolls. The mechanism consists of two parts: a first part with a frame containing pivoting and tilting components for moving the lips and eyelids, and a second part with a motor that drives two rotating cam profiles. These cam profiles control the movements of the components in the first part. The two parts are inserted into the doll's head sequentially and align themselves with each other. The mechanism allows for synchronous or asynchronous movements of the lips and eyelids, with various speeds and rhythms possible. A thin cap inside the doll's head prevents hair from becoming entangled in the mechanism, and an opening in the head facilitates maintenance. Description of the invention
[0010] Starting from this situation, it is an object of the present invention to create a system for actuating the eyes of a doll, and in this respect a plug-in element, an eye actuating set, a doll head and a doll that enable extensive eye actuating.
[0011] The object of the invention is achieved by the features of the independent main claims. Advantageous embodiments are specified in the dependent claims. Where technically feasible, the teachings of the dependent claims can be combined arbitrarily with the teachings of the main and dependent claims.
[0012] In particular, the task is therefore solved by a system for operating the eyes of a doll, comprising at least a support structure with a recessed section for receiving a plug-in element along an insertion axis; wherein the recessed section is designed to extend at least to an entrance opening of the doll; a pivoting means that is pivotable relative to the support structure about a pivoting means axis in order to actuate the eyes at least depending on a pivot position of the doll, in particular at least indirectly; an eye actuation arrangement that is pivotable relative to the support structure about an eye actuation pivot axis in order to actuate the eyes at least depending on a rotational position of the plug-in element received in the recessed section, in particular at least indirectly.
[0013] Advantageous aspects of the claimed invention are explained below, followed by a description of preferred modified embodiments of the invention. Explanations, particularly regarding advantages and definitions of features, are essentially descriptive and preferred examples, but not limiting ones. If an explanation is limiting, this will be expressly stated.
[0014] In other words, the system for operating the doll's eyes is specifically designed to be able to operate the eyes in at least two different ways. Operating the eyes, as defined in this disclosure, means opening or closing the eyes. A child can thus use different mechanisms to operate the doll's eyes. This playfully trains the child's logical thinking skills and, in particular, their combinatorial abilities. For example, a child might learn, using a doll equipped with the aforementioned system, that the doll's swivel position is only relevant for operating its eyes when no insert is present in the doll, such as when a pacifier is not in its mouth.A specific example might be that the doll can close its eyes when it doesn't have a pacifier in its mouth and is placed from a vertical to a horizontal swivel position to simulate a sleeping situation. As soon as the doll, without its pacifier, returns to the vertical swivel position, waking up is simulated, and it opens its eyes. In contrast, the operation of the eyes might be completely independent of the doll's swivel position if it has a plug-in element in its recessed area, such as a pacifier in its mouth. In this case, the eyes open and close depending on the rotation of the plug-in element. More specifically, this means that the doll's eyes open or close, for example, when the child plays with a pacifier in the doll's mouth and turns it.Thus, with a suitable plug-in element inserted and rotated into the recessed section, the doll can keep its eyes open even when lying down. This system can be particularly helpful in developing logical thinking skills in children.
[0015] The support structure has at least one recessed section. This recess is suitable for receiving the plug-in element. The plug-in element is designed to correspond to the recessed section in such a way that it can be inserted into the recessed section, preferably with a precise fit. The support structure can carry the pivoting mechanism and / or the eye-actuating assembly. Alternatively, the pivoting mechanism and / or the eye-actuating assembly can be arranged individually or via a common arrangement on the doll's head. The plug-in element is inserted at least partially along the insertion axis. Preferably, the plug-in element has an insertion section, wherein the insertion section and / or the recessed section, with their main axis, extend substantially coaxially to the insertion axis. The insertion section corresponds, for example, to the mouthpiece of a pacifier.
[0016] The pivoting device is pivotable, specifically and exclusively, about the pivoting device axis. The pivoting device is designed to actuate the doll's eyes, at least indirectly, depending on the doll's pivoting position. "At least indirectly dependent on the doll's pivoting position" means that the eyes can also be actuated based on other features. For example, in conjunction with the doll's pivoting position, the rotational position of the insertion element can also determine the eye position. However, it is also possible that only the doll's pivoting position determines the doll's eye position. The fact that the pivoting device actuates the eyes, at least indirectly, means, in particular, that a mechanism can optionally be present between the pivoting device and the eyes to actuate them. This mechanism can, for example, be the eye actuation arrangement. Alternatively, the pivoting device can also actuate the eyes directly.
[0017] The doll's pivot position directly affects the pivot position of the pivoting mechanism and / or the support structure. For example, if the doll is laid down, this change in position directly affects the pivot position of the pivoting mechanism. Specifically, it is designed so that changes in position involving rotation of the doll do not impede eye movement, provided the doll's pivoting movement is directed towards a lying position.
[0018] In particular, the pivoting element pivots about its pivot axis due to its weight distribution under the influence of the weight force. Preferably, the pivoting element can be designed as a longitudinal body with an attached cam section. As a concrete example, the pivoting element can approximate the shape of the number one. In particular, the center of gravity can then be located at the vertically lower end of the one. The pivot axis can be located at the upper end. The projecting cam section can resemble the angle bar of the number one and be designed to interact with a cam receptacle of the eye-actuating arrangement. The cam receptacle can, for example, be Y-shaped, with the cam section engaging, in particular, between the two spreading elements of the Y. These would preferably be symbolized by the upper two lines of the Y. In particular, the inclination of the Y is unaffected by this.
[0019] The system for actuating the doll's eyes can also have more than one pivoting body as a pivoting means, for example, one pivoting body per eye, in order to perform the eye actuation more precisely and reliably. In this case, the features mentioned in this disclosure can thus preferably apply to both pivoting bodies.
[0020] The eye actuation arrangement is pivotable, in particular exclusively, about the eye actuation pivot axis. The eye actuation arrangement is designed to actuate the eyes at least indirectly, depending on at least one rotational position of the plug-in element inserted into the recess section. "At least dependent on the rotational position of the plug-in element inserted into the recess section" means that the eyes can be actuated in combination with other features or without any further features or components. However, it is preferred that only the rotational position of the plug-in element inserted into the recess section actuates the doll's eyes.
[0021] The fact that the eye-actuating device actuates the eyes, at least indirectly, means in particular that a mechanism can optionally be present between the eye-actuating device and the eyes, which actuates the eyes. This mechanism could, for example, be the pivoting device. Alternatively, the eye-actuating device can also actuate the eyes directly, for example with a magnetic arrangement that magnetically connects the eye-actuating device to the eyes.
[0022] The pivoting mechanism and the eye-actuating arrangement can optionally actuate the doll's eyes independently of each other or only in conjunction with each other. Preferably, the doll's eyes can only be actuated by the pivoting mechanism when the eye-actuating arrangement is configured accordingly. Alternatively or additionally, the doll's eyes can preferably only be actuated by the eye-actuating arrangement when the pivoting mechanism is in a predefined pivoted position.
[0023] A specific rotational position of the plug-in element inserted into the recess section, i.e., received, can have a similar effect to a plug-in element removed from the recess section.
[0024] Basically, the formulation that the plug-in element is inserted into the recess section is equivalent to a formulation that the plug-in element is received in the recess section.
[0025] Where magnets are mentioned within the scope of this invention, it is not necessary that they be monolithic. Several small magnets can create a single effective magnet. For this purpose, the small magnets are connected to each other at their attractive poles. In other words, this means that, for example, the north pole of a first magnet can be connected to the south pole of a second magnet, and vice versa.
[0026] According to a modified embodiment of the invention, the doll's eyes can only be actuated, at least indirectly, by pivoting the pivoting means about the pivoting means axis, if no plug-in element is inserted in the recess section. In other words, whether the doll's pivoting position affects the opening or closing of the eyes depends on the presence of the plug-in element in the recess section. The rotational position of the plug-in element is preferably irrelevant. This preferably means that if a plug-in element is inserted in the recess section to keep the doll's eyes open, the eyes will always remain open, regardless of whether the doll is sitting vertically with its torso and head facing upright or horizontally.Only by rotating the plug-in element around its axis of rotation, especially its insertion axis, can the state of the eyes be changed, for example, by closing them. The same applies to the transition from closed to open eyes. A child might initially perceive this as a contradiction: that the eyes are sometimes open and sometimes closed, especially when the doll is in a horizontal swivel position. Or, conversely, that the eyes are sometimes open and sometimes closed, especially when the doll is in a vertical swivel position. Therefore, it presents a didactic challenge and a cognitive exercise for the child to learn that new influences can override previously established rules.
[0027] According to a modified embodiment of the invention, the pivoting means is operatively connected to the eye-actuating arrangement in order to pivot it. This preferably allows a configuration in which the pivoting state of the eye-actuating arrangement can dominate the pivoting state of the pivoting means. In other words, this means that the pivoting state of the pivoting means can be transmitted via the eye-actuating arrangement to actuate the eyes if the eye-actuating arrangement is freely movable relative to the eyes, or it can be stopped by the eye-actuating arrangement if the eye-actuating arrangement is fixed relative to the eyes, for example, by a magnetic rotational position fixation. Preferably, the connection between the pivoting means and the eye-actuating arrangement is mechanical. This is a technically simple connection method.Such connection options are particularly advantageous for children's toys, including dolls, due to their durability, as electric drives, for example, are delicate and therefore prone to malfunction. A possible mechanical connection between the pivoting mechanism and the eye-operating device can preferably be provided by the pivoting mechanism having a cam section and the eye-operating device having a cam receptacle. These are mechanically robust connection components that are particularly resistant to vibration. In particular, the cam section and the cam receptacle can be operatively connected in such a way that pivoting the pivoting mechanism causes the eye-operating device to pivot.
[0028] Preferably, the cam section can be designed as a projecting nose on the pivoting mechanism, which engages in a cam receptacle shaped like a Y-branch. Pivoting the cam section upwards thus causes it to stop and pivot along with the upper Y-branch of the cam receptacle. Consequently, the eye-actuating assembly also pivots upwards in the area of the cam receptacle. Conversely, pivoting the cam section downwards causes it to stop and pivot along with the lower Y-branch of the cam receptacle. Thus, the eye-actuating assembly also pivots downwards in the area of the cam receptacle. This is a simple mechanical connection. If the doll is bathed, for example, the water will not cause lasting damage to such a functional connection.
[0029] According to a modified embodiment of the invention, the cam section is designed as a bolt body with a principal axial extension axis, preferably extending along its principal axial extension axis beyond the components forming the cam receptacle. In particular, the principal axial extension axis of the cam section designed as a bolt body extends parallel to the pivot axis of the pivoting element. A bolt body with a principal axial extension axis can, for example, be a cylindrical body. Analogous to the embodiments for the cam receptacle being designed as a projecting nose, the cam section designed as a bolt body engages in the cam receptacle designed as a Y-branch. It has been found that this design of the projecting cam section optimally ensures the continued functionality of the system. This is advantageous, for example, when a child swivels the doll in different directions. The various movement mechanisms are then inherently inclined to move, thus preventing the cam section and / or cam receptacle from unintentionally coming loose from their respective positions. This preferred embodiment therefore ensures increased reliability and functionality of the system.
[0030] According to a modified embodiment of the invention, the eye-operating device is operatively connected to the eyes to actuate them. Preferably, the connection between the eye-operating device and the eyes is magnetic. This is a technically simple connection method. Such connection methods are particularly advantageous for children's toys, including dolls, due to their durability, since, for example, electric drives are sensitive and therefore prone to malfunction due to their delicate design. If, in a preferred embodiment, the eyes are actuated either via the eye-operating device alone or via the pivoting mechanism in conjunction with the eye-operating device, the same pivoting mechanism can be used directly at the eyes, resulting in a particularly low-wear magnetic pivoting connection.A simple magnetic connection can preferably be designed such that the eye-actuating arrangement has a correspondingly interacting eye-actuating magnet for each eye magnet. It is therefore advantageous that each eye has a separate eye magnet. The eye-actuating arrangement particularly has two eye-actuating magnets, each designed to establish an operative connection with the respective eye magnet. It is therefore preferred that the eyes can be actuated by changing the distance between the eye-actuating magnets and the respective eye magnets. Preferably, at least one eye-actuating magnet is arranged in a cam receptacle of the eye-actuating arrangement. Particularly preferably, each of the two eye-actuating magnets is arranged in its respective cam receptacle of the eye-actuating arrangement.Provided that the cam section of the pivoting device can be connected to the cam receptacle of the eye actuation arrangement, this enables a compact design that has also proven to be gentle on components.
[0031] According to a modified embodiment of the invention, the eye-actuating arrangement is designed at least partially as an arc with two arc ends. The fact that the eye-actuating arrangement is designed at least partially as an arc with two arc ends preferably means that the eye-actuating arrangement essentially has an arc shape, which may, for example, also include straight sections. The shape of the letter C can preferably be considered and symbolizes the arc shape. The eye-actuating pivot axis then preferably traverses the arc as a secant, i.e., at two points. In plane geometry and analysis, a secant is a straight line that passes through two points on a curve. The eye-actuating arrangement can preferably have an eye-actuating magnet at each end of the arc, with each eye-actuating magnet configured to interact magnetically with an eye magnet located at the respective eye. Thus, the system preferably has a total of two eye-actuating magnets configured to interact with a total of two eye magnets of a total of two eyes. The eyes can be actuated by changing the distance between the eye-actuating magnets and the respective eye magnets. Preferably, each of the two eye-actuating magnets is the same distance from its respective eye magnet. Since the eye-actuating magnets are fixed to the eye-actuating arrangement, the respective distance remains constant, so that both eyes are always opened or closed to the same extent.
[0032] According to a modified embodiment of the invention, the eye-actuating arrangement is designed at least partially as an arc with two arc ends. The fact that the eye-actuating arrangement is designed at least partially as an arc with two arc ends preferably means that the eye-actuating arrangement essentially has an arc shape, which may, for example, also have edges. The shape of the letter C can preferably be considered and symbolizes the arc shape. The eye-actuating pivot axis then preferably intersects the arc as a secant, i.e., at two points. In plane geometry and analysis, a secant is a straight line that passes through two points on a curve. The eye-actuating arrangement can have a pivoting magnet in the arc between the arc ends, preferably in the center of the arc. This mechanism is designed to interact with a magnet in the plug-in element, allowing the eye-actuating device to pivot depending on the plug-in element's rotational position. This is a structurally simple solution for activating the eyes via the eye-actuating device, for example, in conjunction with the plug-in element. If the plug-in element is a pacifier, a child can simply rotate the pacifier in the doll's mouth to open and close the eyes, particularly by 180 degrees. With each rotation of the pacifier, the center of the arc pivots up or down, thus activating the eye-actuating device.
[0033] In the case of an embodiment of the eye-actuating arrangement as an arc, its arc center can in particular be directed towards a mouth of the doll and the two arc ends can preferably each extend towards an eye of the doll.
[0034] According to a modified embodiment of the invention, the eyes can be actuated, optionally independently of the doll's pivot position, by pivoting the eye actuation arrangement about the eye actuation pivot axis, at least indirectly depending on the rotational position of the plug-in element inserted into the recess section. In other words, the system is adjustable such that the eyes can be actuated without the doll's pivot position being affected. In this case, to actuate the doll's eyes, it is only relevant that the plug-in element is inserted into the recess section in a corresponding position. The option of this occurring independently of the doll's pivot position is preferably an optional feature. This is a suitable design for training a child's combinatorial skills.
[0035] According to a modified embodiment of the invention, the support structure comprises a first pivoting mechanism for pivotally mounting the pivoting element. Preferably, the pivoting element is designed such that its pivot position depends on the pivot position of the doll. For this purpose, a portion of the first pivoting mechanism can be connected to the doll's head as part of the support structure. Preferably, however, the first pivoting mechanism is not directly connected to the doll's head. This is a simple, compact, and functionally reliable arrangement of the first pivoting mechanism. Additionally or alternatively, the support structure comprises a second pivoting mechanism for pivotally mounting the eye-actuating assembly. Preferably, the eye-actuating assembly is designed such that its pivot position depends on the rotational position of the plug-in element. For this purpose, part of the second swivel mechanism can be connected to the doll's head as part of the support structure. Preferably, however, the second swivel mechanism is not directly connected to the doll's head. This is a simple, compact, and reliable arrangement of the second swivel mechanism.
[0036] According to a modified embodiment of the invention, the pivoting element has a mass distribution eccentric to the pivoting element axis, such that the weight of the mass distribution determines the pivoting position of the pivoting element. This eccentric mass distribution can be achieved by a corresponding material distribution within the pivoting element. This feature enables a cost-effective, simple, compact, and functionally reliable eccentric mass distribution. The eccentric mass distribution can preferably also result from a weight arranged on the pivoting element, which always orients the pivoting element along the weight of the weight. For example, the pivoting element can be made of a plastic, and the weight of a metallic body, which in particular has a higher density than the plastic. This further facilitates cost-effective manufacturing.
[0037] Preferably, but not exclusively, the mass distribution can be designed as a bolt body with a principal axial extension axis, wherein the mass distribution preferably extends along its principal axial extension axis beyond the components forming the cam receptacle. In particular, the principal axial extension axis of the mass distribution designed as a bolt body extends parallel to the pivot axis of the pivoting element. A bolt body with a principal axial extension axis can, for example, be a cylindrical body. It has been found that this design of the projecting mass distribution optimally ensures the functionality of the system. This is advantageous, for example, when the doll is pivoted in different directions by a child. The various movement mechanisms are thus inherently inclined to move, thereby preventing the unintentional loss of the pivoting body and / or the cam mount from their respective positions. This preferred embodiment therefore ensures increased reliability and functionality of the system.
[0038] According to a modified embodiment of the invention, the recessed section, particularly on its inner side, is a hollow cylindrical recessed section. A hollow cylindrical recessed section means that the recessed section of the support structure is designed as a substantially tubular section. This applies particularly to the inner region of the recessed section. Thus, the recessed section can easily support an insertion section of the plug-in element, especially a rounded one, so that a child playing with the doll can easily insert and remove the plug-in element from the recessed section, and can easily rotate the plug-in element within the recessed section to operate the eyes. The hollow cylindrical recessed section can, preferably at least partially and particularly preferably at the outer opening of the doll, have a circular or elliptical cross-section.A circular or elliptical insertion section is also considered a rounded insertion section.
[0039] According to a modified embodiment of the invention, the recessed section of the support structure is designed to accommodate an oversized plug-in element. This means that the inner diameter of the recessed section of the support structure is smaller, at least partially, preferably completely, than the outer diameter of the plug-in element projecting into the recessed section. To still allow a child to rotate the plug-in element, the inner diameter of the recessed section or the outer diameter of the plug-in element projecting into the recessed section can be made of elastic material, so that the plug-in element is not fixed against rotation in the recessed section and can still be rotated without unintentionally falling out of the recessed section. For children, this makes it easier to turn the plug-in element into the recessed section of the doll in order to operate its eyes using the eye-operating mechanism.
[0040] According to a modified embodiment of the invention, the support structure has a stop limit to ensure a functional connection between the pivoting means and the eye actuation arrangement, regardless of the doll's pivot position. The stop limit thus ensures that, when the doll is in a horizontal pivot position, the pivoting means does not pivot so far away that the functional connection between the pivoting means and the eye actuation arrangement is disengaged. This increases the reliability of the system for actuating the doll's eyes.
[0041] Preferably, but not exclusively, the stop limit is designed to restrict the pivoting motion of the pivoting device within a pivoting range, for example, by two stop limit legs arranged at right angles to each other. It is generally preferred that the pivoting device has an outer contour that correlates with the stop limit. For example, the stop limit legs can be at right angles to each other. If the stop limit has, for example, the two aforementioned stop limit legs, then the outer contour of the pivoting device preferably also has two pivoting device stop segments arranged substantially at right angles to each other, each designed to abut a stop limit leg in the event of sufficient pivoting of the mannequin. Thus, the pivoting range is restricted, and this also applies to other angles, or even with only one stop limit leg.For example, a stop limiting leg can extend essentially along the longitudinal axis of the doll's entrance opening. The impact against this stop limiting leg then occurs, in particular, perpendicular to its extension. While a single stop limiting leg allows for a lighter system design, two stop limiting legs permit better adjustment of the swivel interval and thus better control of eye movement.
[0042] As an example, and not as a limitation, it may be provided that the stop limiting legs can also be of different lengths. In particular, the stop limiting leg that extends essentially along the longitudinal axis of the doll's entrance opening is longer than the stop limiting leg that extends essentially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the doll's entrance opening.
[0043] A plug-in element for the aforementioned system, possessing at least one of the aforementioned system features, is also advantageous. In particular, the plug-in element is a pacifier for the doll using the aforementioned system.
[0044] According to a modified embodiment of the invention, the plug-in element has an insertion section for insertion into the recess section of the support structure along the insertion axis, preferably with the insertion section being shaped as an ellipsoid. For example, if both the insertion section and the recess section are elliptical, the insertion section can be easily inserted into the recess section. Once the insertion section is rotated, it is positively locked in the recess section until the next 180-degree position is reached. This makes it easier for children to rotate the plug-in element in the recess section of the doll to operate its eyes using the eye-operating device.
[0045] According to a modified embodiment of the invention, the plug-in element has a plug-in magnet located in the insertion section. This allows the eye-operating assembly, which includes a swivel magnet, to be pivoted depending on the rotational position of the plug-in magnet. A reliable and easy-to-assemble magnet arrangement has proven to be preferably cylindrical with an axis of rotation. To optimize the magnetic effect, the cylindrical shape is designed such that, in the inserted state of the plug-in element, the axis of rotation in the recess section preferably extends orthogonally to the insertion axis.
[0046] According to a modified embodiment of the invention, the plug-in element is designed to open the doll's eyes in a first rotational position and close them in a second rotational position. For this purpose, the plug-in element has a rotational axis that coincides, in particular, with the insertion axis of the plug-in element. Preferably, the rotational positions are spaced 180 degrees apart. This means that, starting from the first rotational position of the plug-in element, it is in the second rotational position after half a total rotation about its rotational axis. After another half total rotation about the rotational axis of the plug-in element, it is back in the first rotational position. The direction of rotation is irrelevant, which simplifies the changing of the rotational positions for children. This reduces the difficulty of the system, allowing the focus to remain on the different eye movements achieved by swiveling the doll or rotating the plug-in element. The plug-in element can also be rotated continuously, thus avoiding distracting influences from rotational stops. Preferably, in the first rotational position of the plug-in element, at least one open-eye symbol is prominently displayed. "Prominently displayed" means visible to a child. Preferably, the plug-in element has two open-eye symbols. In particular, each open-eye symbol is arranged on a separate plate of the plug-in element and is visible to a child. Alternatively or additionally, preferably in the second rotational position of the plug-in element, at least one close-eye symbol is prominently displayed. "Prominently displayed" means visible to a child. Preferably, the plug-in element has two close-eye symbols. In particular, each close-eye symbol is arranged on a separate plate of the plug-in element and is visible to a child.
[0047] The plug-in element can preferably be divided into an insertion section that can be inserted into the doll and an outer doll section that cannot be inserted into the doll. Preferably, but not exclusively, the insertion section can also include a plug-in element magnet and optionally a magnetic fixing means. Also preferably, but not exclusively, the outer doll section can include a shield with a cover element, wherein a gripping means can be pivotably connected to the cover element by means of a fixing bolt. The gripping means can, in particular, be designed as a gripping ring.
[0048] An eye-actuation set for a doll with the aforementioned system, with at least one of the aforementioned features of the system, is also advantageous.
[0049] It is also advantageous to have a doll head for a doll with the aforementioned system, with at least one of the aforementioned features of the system.
[0050] A doll with the aforementioned system, or at least one of its features, is also advantageous. The doll can be designed in any way imaginable. For example, it could be a baby-like toy doll. Alternatively, it could be an action figure or a plush toy, such as a teddy bear. Other forms of dolls are also possible.
[0051] Additionally, the doll's opening, particularly on its head, may have a smaller diameter along its longitudinal axis in a distal section than in a proximal section. The opening is preferably the doll's mouth. Using the mouth as an example, this means that the inner diameter of the oral cavity is larger than the inner diameter of the lips. This allows the plug-in element to be inserted into the mouth with greater accuracy, but it can be rotated more loosely once the plug-in element is in place. For example, if the insertion and recess sections are elliptical, the insertion section can be easily inserted into the recess. Once the insertion section is rotated, it is positively locked in the recess until it reaches the next 180-degree position. For children, this makes it easier to turn the plug-in element in the recessed section of the doll to operate its eyes using the eye-operating mechanism. Detailed description of the implementation examples
[0054] The described embodiments are merely examples that can be modified and / or supplemented in various ways within the scope of the claims. Each feature described for a particular embodiment can be used independently or in combination with other features in any other embodiment. Each feature described for an embodiment of a particular claim category can also be used accordingly in an embodiment of a different claim category.
[0055] The Figures 1 to 7 and 10 to 15 The figures show systems 10 for actuating the eyes 12a, 12b of a respective doll 14 in different arrangements, divided into three embodiments.
[0056] According to the three embodiments, a system 10 is provided in each case for actuating the eyes 12a, 12b of a doll 14. Each system has at least one support structure 16. The support structure 16 shown is designed as a separate component. However, the support structure 16 can also be partially or completely integrated into a doll's head 54. This is independent of other features shown in the figures.
[0057] The support structure 16 has a recessed section 18 which is provided for receiving a correspondingly designed plug-in element 20. Preferably Figure 4 shows that the cutout section 18 is a hollow cylindrical cutout section 18.
[0058] The plug-in element 20 is to be inserted into the recess section 18 along an insertion axis E, whereby further insertion directions may also be provided. The recess section 18 is designed to extend at least as far as an entrance opening 22 of the mantle 14.
[0059] Each embodiment comprises a pivoting means 24 which is pivotable relative to the support structure 16 about a pivoting means axis S in order to actuate the eyes 12a, 12b indirectly via an eye actuation arrangement 26 depending on a pivot position of the doll 14.
[0060] Furthermore, each embodiment includes the eye actuation arrangement 26, which is pivotable relative to the support structure 16 about an eye actuation pivot axis A in order to actuate the eyes 12a, 12b at least indirectly depending on a rotational position of the plug-in element 20 inserted into the recess section 18, i.e. received by the recess section 18.
[0061] The illustrated embodiments are designed such that the eyes 12a, 12b of the doll 14 can only be actuated by pivoting the pivoting means 24 about the pivoting means axis S if no plug-in element 20 is received in the recess section 18. The pivoting is indirect, depending on the pivot position of the doll 14.
[0062] This is achieved in particular by the fact that the pivoting means 24 is mechanically operatively connected to the eye-actuating arrangement 26 in order to pivot it. The pivoting means 24 has a cam section 28 and the eye-actuating arrangement 26 has a cam receptacle 30. The cam section 28 and the cam receptacle 30 are operatively connected to each other such that pivoting the pivoting means 24, for example by force of gravity, causes the eye-actuating arrangement 26 to pivot. For this purpose, the pivoting means 24 has a mass distribution eccentric to the pivot axis S, preferably by means of a weight 48. Thus, a force of gravity on the mass distribution determines a pivot position of the pivoting means 24. This can be seen from the symbolic representations of the Figures 10 on 11, where a relative position of an eye 12a, 12b to system 10 is shown. Thus, it shows Figure 11The first movement arrow P1 describes the pivoting of the pivoting means 24 by the weight force of the weight body 48. The pivoting movement of the cam section 28 causes a pivoting movement of the cam receptacle 30, which is symbolically represented by the second movement arrow P2. Thus, the respective cam receptacle 30 moves away from a corresponding eye 12a, 12b. It is symbolically indicated that the position of the system 10 in Figure 11 rotated 90 degrees to the position of system 10 in Figure 10 The depicted eye 12a, 12b is rotated about the eye pivot axis ASA.
[0063] For the sake of completeness, it should be mentioned that the pivoting movement of the cam receptacle 30 along the second direction of movement P2 causes, in particular, a pivoting movement of the bow center 38 in the opposite direction to the second direction of movement P2, i.e., along the third direction of movement P3. This preferably occurs directly by arranging the second pivoting mechanism 46 of the support structure 16 between the cam receptacle 30 and the bow center 38. Thus, pivoting the cam receptacle 30 upwards leads to a downward pivoting of the bow center 38, and pivoting the cam receptacle 30 downwards leads to a upward pivoting of the bow center 38. Conversely, a pivoting movement of the bow center 38 causes an opposite pivoting movement of the cam receptacle 30.
[0064] The Figures 10 to 15Show that the eye-actuating arrangement 26 is at least partially configured as an arc with two arc ends 36a, 36b. The eye-actuating arrangement 26 has an eye-actuating magnet 34a, 34b at each arc end 36a, 36b. Preferably, each eye-actuating magnet 34a, 34b is configured to magnetically interact with an eye magnet 32a, 32b arranged at each eye 12a, 12b, such that the eyes 12a, 12b can be actuated by changing the distance between the eye-actuating magnets 34a, 34b and the respective eye magnets 32a, 32b. In the illustrated embodiments, the eyes 12a, 12b are closed when the eye actuation magnets 34a, 34b and the eye magnets 32a, 32b are arranged sufficiently close to each other.
[0065] The activation of eyes 12a, 12b using the plug-in element 20 is carried out in the transition of the Figure 12 on the Figure 13 explained. In Figure 12Eyes 12a and 12b are shown open. Figure 13 The eyes 12a and 12b are symbolically shown closed. The plug-in element 20 is designed to open the eyes 12a and 12b of the doll 14 in a first rotational position and to close them in a second rotational position. The rotational positions are approximately 180 degrees apart. This is in Figure 13 represented by the movement arrow P5. As also in the Figures 4 and 5As can be clearly seen, the eye-actuating arrangement 26 is designed as an arc with two arc ends 36a, 36b. Between the arc ends 36a, 36b, in the center 38 of the arc, the eye-actuating arrangement 26 has a swivel magnet 40. This magnet is designed to interact with a plug-in element magnet 42 of the plug-in element 20. By rotating the plug-in element 20 along the direction of movement P5, the eye-actuating arrangement 26 can be swiveled. While the magnetic polarity of the swivel magnet 40 does not change, the magnetic polarity of the plug-in element magnet 42 acting on the swivel magnet 40 changes as a result of the rotation of the plug-in element 20. Due to the magnetic attraction of the plug-in element magnet 42 to the swivel magnet 40, the center 38 of the arc swivels upwards about the eye-actuating swivel axis A along the direction of movement P6. At the same time, the arc ends 36a, 36b pivot about the eye-actuation pivot axis A along the movement arrow P7 downwards.By pivoting downwards the arc ends 36a, 36b and the eye-actuating magnets 34a, 34b arranged therein, the distance to the eye magnets 32a, 32b increases until their magnetic attraction is so weak due to the increasing distance that the magnetic force is no longer sufficient to keep the eyes 12a, 12b open, causing the eyes 12a, 12b to close along the direction of movement P8. When the plug-in element 20 is rotated again, the plug-in element magnet 42 and the pivot magnet 40 repel each other, causing the eyes to open again. The attraction between the plug-in element magnet 42 and the pivot magnet 40 is also lost when the plug-in element 20 is removed from the recess section 18. Preferably, the eccentric mass distribution of the pivoting means 24 acts to adjust the eye position.
[0066] In principle, an alternative configuration is also possible in which the eyes 12a, 12b remain closed by eye actuation magnets 34a, 34b interacting with the eye magnets 32a, 32b, so that they open as the distance increases.
[0067] Thus, the eye-actuating arrangement 26 is magnetically connected to the eyes 12a, 12b in order to actuate them. For this purpose, the eye-actuating arrangement 26 has a corresponding eye-actuating magnet 34a, 34b at each eye 12a, 12b for each eye magnet 32a, 32b. The eyes 12a, 12b can therefore be actuated by changing the distance between the eye-actuating magnets 34a, 34b and the respective eye magnets 32a, 32b. Each eye magnet 32a, 32b is arranged in a cam receptacle 30 of the eye-actuating arrangement 26. The distance-wise removal of the respective cam receptacle 30 from a corresponding eye 12a, 12b along the second movement arrow P2 releases the respective eye actuation magnet 34a, 34b from its corresponding eye magnet 32a, 32b, so that the respective eye 12a, 12b pivots about an eye pivot axis ASA and moves in the direction of the fourth movement arrow P4, so that the corresponding eye 12a, 12b closes. If the respective eye-activation magnet 34a, 34b were to approach its corresponding eye magnet 32a, 32b again, the respective eye 12a, 12b would open.
[0068] According to the Figures 12 and 13 It is disclosed that the eyes 12a, 12b can be actuated, at least indirectly, by pivoting the eye actuation arrangement 26 about the eye actuation pivot axis A, depending at least on the rotational position of the plug-in element 20 inserted into the recess section 18. This optionally occurs independently of the pivot position of the doll 14. "Optionally" here preferably means that the eyes 12a, 12b can be actuated either depending on the pivot position of the doll 14 or depending on the pivoting of the eye actuation arrangement 26 about the eye actuation pivot axis A. Thus, it is not intended that the system 10 can execute only one option, but that both options are possible. Therefore, a child playing with the doll 14 can selectively choose one of the two options.
[0069] In the Figures 10 to 13 In some cases, both eyes 12a, 12b and both eye magnets 32a, 32b are designated, whereas, for example, only one arc end 36b or only one eye actuation magnet 34b is designated. This should not be interpreted narrowly, as these are symbolic embodiments. Accordingly, unless otherwise stated, it is preferred for all figures that a separate component is provided for each half of the doll's head 54. By way of example, however, only a single pivoting device 24 may be provided for both eyes 12a, 12b.
[0070] As in Figure 5 As shown, the support structure 16 is designed to have a first pivoting mechanism 44 for pivoting the pivoting element 24. As symbolically shown in the Figures 10 and 11 As shown, the pivot position of the pivoting device 24 depends on the pivot position of the doll 14.
[0071] As further in Figure 5As shown, the illustrated support structure 16 is designed to have a second pivoting mechanism 46 for pivotally mounting the eye-actuating assembly 26. With respect to the second pivoting mechanism 46, the pivot position of the eye-actuating assembly 26 depends on the rotational position of the plug-in element 20. Figure 12 and 14 The rotational position of the plug-in element 20 is such that the eyes 12a, 12b are open. In the Figure 13 and 15 The rotational position of the plug-in element 20 is changed such that the eyes 12a, 12b are closed.
[0072] As symbolically in the Figures 12 and 13As shown, the recessed section 18 of the support structure 16 can be designed to receive an interference-fit plug-in element 20. The interference fit of the plug-in element 20 need not be continuous; for example, in the case of an ellipsoidally shaped insertion section 50, it can be present only in the region of its largest diameter. Preferably, and independently of this, the recessed section 18 has an elastic inner diameter region, so that an insertion section 50 inserted into the recessed section 18 is held elastically. Thus, the plug-in element 20 is secured against falling out of the recessed section 18 during rotation.
[0073] Especially after Figure 5In the first embodiment, the support structure 16 is provided with a stop 72 to ensure a functional connection between the pivoting means 24 and the eye-actuating arrangement 26, regardless of the pivot position of the mannequin 14. For example, if a cam section 28 is arranged in a corresponding cam receptacle 30, the cam section 28 could slide out of the cam receptacle 30 if the mannequin 14 is tilted too sharply. During a return pivot, the cam receptacle 30 might pivot back faster than the cam section 28, preventing them from functioning. The stop 72 reduces this risk.
[0074] Especially the Figures 8 and 9 In a preferred embodiment, the plug-in element 20, designed as a pacifier, is shown for the illustrated systems 10 for actuating the eyes 12a, 12b of the doll 14.
[0075] This plug-in element 20 has an insertion section 50 for insertion into the recess section 18 of the support structure 16. The plug-in element 20 is inserted into the recess section 18 along the insertion axis E.
[0076] Furthermore, the plug-in element 20 comprises a plug-in element magnet 42. The plug-in element magnet 42 is arranged in the insertion section 50, wherein the plug-in element magnet 42, as in particular in Figure 8 It is recognizable as having a cylindrical shape with an axis of rotation R. Furthermore, it is evident in the Figures 8 and 9 , that the cylindrical shape is designed such that the axis of rotation R in the received state of the plug-in element 20 extends orthogonally to the insertion axis E in the recess section 18.
[0077] The plug-in element magnet 42 is fixed in the insertion section 50 by means of a magnetic fixing means 62, whereby other fixing options not shown are also possible, for example, injection molding or other fixing methods. In the illustrated embodiment, the insertion section 50 has, for example, a bore at the inner stop of which the plug-in element magnet 42 is arranged. More preferably, the insertion section 50 and the magnetic fixing means 62 can be at least partially, preferably completely, flush with each other at the end furthest from the inner stop, i.e., without steps. The insertion section 50 extends through a shield 56. For this purpose, the shield 56 has an opening. The insertion section 50 can preferably have a support flange that prevents the insertion section 50 from sliding through the shield 56. The shield 56 can have a cover element 64 on the side furthest from the mantle 14.This can preferably be configured to secure the insertion section 50 and the components inserted therein. The cover element 64 can also have a gripping element 66, which is preferably designed as a gripping ring. The gripping element 66 can preferably be used to detect the rotational position of the plug-in element 20. The gripping element 66 is preferably connected to the cover element 64 via a fixing bolt 68. The gripping element 66 can be pivotably connected to the cover element 64 via the fixing bolt 68. The fixing bolt 68 can preferably directly support the magnetic fixing element 62 and the insertion section 50.
[0078] Preferably, the insertion section 50 is designed as an ellipsoid. It is also preferably provided that the inlet opening 22 is designed as the mouth of the doll 14. In this case, the inlet opening 22 has a smaller diameter along its longitudinal axis L in a distal section than in a proximal section. In the present example, this can be applied to the mouth of the doll 14. The mouth has lips that form a substantially elliptical opening. The interior of the mouth has a larger inner diameter. In conjunction with the insertion section 50 being designed as an ellipsoid, this means that the ellipsoid can be inserted into the elliptical opening of the lips. If the insertion element 20 is rotated between 0 and 180 degrees, it is secured against falling out of the mouth during rotation. This makes the operation of the plug-in element 20 easier, especially for small children.
[0079] In Figure 8 In the first rotational position of the plug-in element 20, two eye-opening symbols 58 are preferably shown highlighted on the plug-in element 20, namely on the shield 56 of the plug-in element 20. Furthermore, in the second rotational position of the plug-in element 20, two eye-closing symbols 60 are preferably shown highlighted on the plug-in element 20, namely on the shield 56 of the plug-in element 20. While the shield 56 serves as protection against swallowing a pacifier in a real pacifier for a human baby, the shield 56 serves as an indicator platform for the rotational position of the plug-in element 20.
[0080] The plug-in element 20, designed as a pacifier, the system 10 for actuating the eyes 12a, 12b of the doll 14 and optionally the eyes 12a, 12b can be combined as eye actuation set 52. Thus, the Figures 12 and 13a first eye-activation set 52 and the Figures 14 and 15 a second eye-operating set 52. The essential difference between these eye-operating sets 52 is that the second eye-operating set 52 does not have a stop limit 72, so that its pivoting element 24 is not secured and can detach from the cam receptacle 30 with its cam section 28. In contrast, the cam section 28 of the pivoting element 24 in the first eye-operating set 52 is secured by the stop limit 72 in the cam receptacle 30.
[0081] The doll head 54 is a toy doll head. This has the aforementioned eye activation set 52 for the doll 14.
[0082] Furthermore, and independently of the other features described, the system 10 for actuating the eyes 12a, 12b of the doll 14 has fluid lines 70. These can, for example, be integrated with the system 10 or even the eye actuation set 52 in such a way that the fluid lines 70 preferably extend to the eyes 12a, 12b, so that they can be supplied with artificial tear fluid. Additionally or alternatively, the fluid lines 70 can be connected to the support structure 16 in such a way that the recessed section 18 is designed to receive liquid, in particular water, and / or food, in particular pureed food. These can be conveyed via the fluid lines 70 into the interior of the doll 14.
[0083] Although the Figures 10 to 15The fact that only one eye 12a, 12b, one eye magnet 32a, 32b, one eye actuation magnet 34a, 34b and one arc end 36a, 36b are revealed is due in particular to the side view. Preferably, the system 10 also has the same laterally recognizable features on the rear half of the doll's face 14. In addition, the doll 14 can also have two pivoting means 24. Optionally, as in the Figures 1 to 7 It has been shown, and also provided, that the doll 14 has only a single swiveling means 24.
[0084] The Figures 16 and 17 Finally, a fourth embodiment of the system 10 for actuating the eyes 12a, 12b of a doll 14 is disclosed, wherein the eyes 12a, 12b of the doll 14 are open as a result of a rotational position of the plug-in element 20, according to Figure 16 , and are closed as a result of a different rotational position of the plug-in element 20, according to Figure 17An exemplary difference of this embodiment compared to the other embodiments is that the cam section 28 is designed as a bolt body with a principal axial extension axis, wherein the cam section 28 extends along its principal axial extension axis beyond the components forming the cam receptacle 30. In other words, this means that the bolt body projects axially from the cam receptacle 30 and is not at risk of falling out of it. In particular, the principal axial extension axis of the cam section 28 designed as a bolt body extends parallel to the pivot axis S of the pivoting means 24. A bolt body with a principal axial extension axis can, for example, be a cylindrical body, as in the Figures 16 and 17 This is recognizable. Analogous to the explanations regarding the design of the cam mount as a protruding nose, as exemplified in the Figures 14 and 15As shown, the cam section 28, designed as a bolt body, engages in the cam receptacle 30, designed as a Y-branch. It has been found that this design of the projecting cam section 28 optimally ensures the continued functionality of the system 10. This is advantageous, for example, when the doll 14 is swivelled into different positions by a child. The various movement mechanisms are then inherently inclined to move, while the cam section 28 and / or the cam receptacle 30 are prevented from unintentionally falling out of their respective positions. Thus, this preferred embodiment ensures the functionality of the system 10 with increased reliability.
[0085] Furthermore, according to the Figures 16 and 17Preferably, but not necessarily, the weight body 48 serving as a mass distribution can be designed as a bolt body with a principal axial extension axis, wherein the weight body 48 extends along its principal axial extension axis beyond the components forming the cam receptacle 30 and thus projects beyond them. In particular, the principal axial extension axis of the mass distribution designed as a bolt body extends parallel to the pivot axis S of the pivoting means 24. A bolt body with a principal axial extension axis can, for example, be a cylindrical body. It has been found that this design of the projecting mass distribution optimally ensures the functionality of the system 10. This is advantageous, for example, when the doll 14 is pivoted into different positions by a child. The various movement mechanisms are then generally inclined to move, whereby an unintentional falling out of the pivoting body 24 and / or the cam receptacle 30 from their respective movement position can be avoided. Thus, this preferred embodiment ensures the functionality of the system 10 with increased reliability.
[0086] Finally, after the Figures 16 and 17 Preferably, the stop limit 72 is designed such that it limits the pivotability of the pivoting means 24 within a pivoting interval, for example by two stop limit legs 72a, 72b arranged at an angle to each other. In principle, it is preferred that the pivoting means 24 has an outer contour that correlates with the stop limit 72. For example, the stop limit legs 72a, 72b can be at a right angle to each other, as shown in the Figures 16 and 17As shown, the outer contour of the pivoting device 24 preferably also has two pivoting device stop segments 24a, 24b that are essentially perpendicular to each other, each designed to abut a stop limiting leg 72a, 72b in the event of sufficient pivoting of the doll 14. This limits the pivoting range, and this is also applicable to other angular positions of the stop limiting legs 72a, 72b, or even with only one stop limiting leg 72a. For example, a stop limiting leg 72a can extend essentially along the longitudinal axis L of the entrance opening 22 of the doll 14. This is, however, the case with the Figures 16 and 17This is more readily apparent when considering the overall presentation, since the entrance opening 22 of the doll 14 would be the mouth and is therefore not visible from the rear view. The impact against the stop limiting leg 72a, which extends essentially along the longitudinal axis L of the entrance opening 22 of the doll 14, then occurs, in particular, transversely to its extension. While a single stop limiting leg 72a allows for a lighter construction of the system 10, two stop limiting legs 72a, 72b permit better adjustment of the swivel interval and thus better control of the eye movement.
[0087] The following are examples, without limitation: Figures 16 and 17that the stop limiting legs 72a, 72b can also be of different lengths. Thus, the stop limiting leg 72a, which extends essentially along the longitudinal axis L of the entrance opening 22 of the doll 14, is longer than the stop limiting leg 72b, which extends essentially transversely to the longitudinal axis L of the entrance opening 22 of the doll 14.
[0088] The system also shows 10 of the doll 14 of the Figures 16 and 17 Two pivoting means 24 and correspondingly designed components, in particular pivoting mechanisms 44, 46, are included. This improves the actuation precision of the eye movements.
[0089] It should be noted that the features of system 10 of doll 14 of the Figures 16 and 17 are also applicable to the other embodiments, either supplementally or substitutively.
[0090] The exemplary embodiments are designed in particular as schematic diagrams of principles. Reference symbol list
