Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a tool device consisting of several removable modules, such as a setting device for setting fastening elements such as nails, bolts, rivets, screws, anchors, or a hammer drill.
[0002] Tool devices are known from the prior art, each comprising a first module and a second module that can be removed from the first module. It is known to provide the first module with a thread and the second module with a counter-thread, so that the second module can be unscrewed from the first module. However, this is time-consuming. Furthermore, tool devices are known that can only be released when they are pressed against a surface or a workpiece.
[0003] A generic tool is known from EP3338958 A1. EP3338958 A1 discloses a tool comprising a first module and a second module that can be removed from the first module. The first module has a plug-in receptacle, while the second module has a plug-in part that can be inserted into the plug-in receptacle along a plug-in axis that defines a plug-in direction. The plug-in part can be rotated about the plug-in axis between a locked position and a passing position. The plug-in receptacle has a first projection and the plug-in part has a second projection, wherein in the locked position the second projection engages behind the first projection in the direction of the plug-in axis. In the passing position the first projection allows the second projection to pass, wherein the plug-in receptacle prevents the tool from being triggered in a basic position and enables the tool from being triggered in a pressing position. In this regard, it should be noted that pressing the second module against the first module while the plug-in part in the plug-in receptacle is in the locked position transfers the plug-in receptacle into the pressing position in the direction of the plug-in axis.
[0004] It is the object of the invention to provide a tool device in which a first module can be quickly and / or safely removed from a second module.
[0005] According to one aspect of the application, a tool device comprises a first module and a second module removable from the first module, wherein the first and second modules can be plugged into one another along a plug-in axis defining a plug-in direction, wherein the first module has a contact pressure locking element that moves with the second module and a contact pressure blocking element, wherein the contact pressure locking element is rotatable about the plug-in axis relative to the contact pressure blocking element between a normal position and a disassembly position, wherein the second module is held on the first module in the normal position and is removable from the first module in the disassembly position, wherein the contact pressure blocking element allows a transfer of the contact pressure locking element along the plug-in axis toward the rest of the first module into a contact pressure position when the contact pressure locking element is in the normal position,Whereas the contact blocking element blocks the transfer of the plug-in receptacle into the contact position when the contact blocking element is in the disassembly position, and wherein the first module has a locking mechanism that causes the contact blocking element to lock into the disassembly position when the second module is removed from the first module. This ensures that the contact blocking element remains in the disassembly position and thus blocks the transfer of the contact blocking element into the contact position by the contact blocking element when the second module is removed from the first module. This prevents accidental activation of the first module during repair or cleaning of the tool.
[0006] An advantageous embodiment is characterized in that the locking mechanism comprises a locking element on the remaining first module and a locking receptacle on the pressure-locking element, or vice versa, and wherein the locking element engages in the locking receptacle to cause the pressure-locking element to lock in the disassembled position. The locking mechanism preferably comprises a locking spring which biases the locking element towards the locking receptacle. Likewise preferably, the second module has a cover element which covers the locking receptacle to prevent the locking element from engaging in the locking receptacle when the second module is held on the first module. Particularly preferably, the cover element is designed as a driver which engages in the locking receptacle to transmit a rotational movement of the second module about the plug-in axis to the pressure-locking element when the second module is held on the first module.
[0007] An advantageous embodiment is characterized in that the first module has a plug-in receptacle and the second module has a plug-in part that can be inserted into the plug-in receptacle along the plug-in axis, or vice versa. The plug-in part is preferably rotatable in the plug-in receptacle between a blocking position and a passing position in a direction of rotation about the plug-in axis, wherein the plug-in receptacle has one or more first projections that follow one another in the plug-in direction and the plug-in part has one or more second projections that follow one another in the plug-in direction, wherein in the blocking position a second projection engages behind a first projection in the direction of the plug-in axis, and wherein in the passing position the first projection(s) allow the respective second projection(s) to pass in the direction of the plug-in axis.
[0008] An advantageous embodiment is characterized in that the contact pressure locking element has a contact pressure locking contour, the movement of which along the plug-in axis is blocked by the contact pressure blocking element when the contact pressure locking element is in the disassembly position.
[0009] An advantageous embodiment is characterized in that the pressure locking element comprises a sleeve arranged around the plug-in axis.
[0010] An advantageous embodiment is characterized in that the tool device has a driving element for transmitting energy to a fastening element to be driven and a power-driven drive device for driving the driving element. The first module preferably comprises the drive device, the driving element, a guide cylinder for the driving element, and / or an operating element. Likewise preferably, the second module comprises the driving element, a guide cylinder for the driving element, an operating element, and / or a magazine for the fastening element.
[0011] Further features and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the exemplary embodiments, which are explained in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. They show: Fig. 1 a tool in a side view, Fig. 2 a section of a module of a tool, Fig. 3 a section of a tool in a normal position in a longitudinal section, Fig. 4 the section of the tool from Fig. 3 in a disassembly position, Fig. 5 a section of the first module Fig. 4 with the second module removed, and Fig. 6 a section of a tool device in a cross section.
[0012] In Fig. 1 A first exemplary embodiment of a power tool 100 is shown in a side view. The power tool 100 comprises a drive module 110, a power adjustment module 120, and a magazine module 130, wherein the magazine module 130 is removably inserted into the power adjustment module 120, and wherein the power adjustment module 120 is removably inserted into the drive module 110. In exemplary embodiments not shown, for example, the drive module is inserted into the power adjustment module or the power adjustment module is inserted into the magazine module.
[0013] The tool device 100 is designed as a setting tool for setting fastening elements (not shown), such as nails, bolts, rivets, and the like, and comprises a driving element (not shown), for example, designed as a setting piston, for transmitting energy to a fastening element to be driven, and a power-operated drive device (not shown) for driving the driving element. The first module 110 comprises a housing 140, the drive device accommodated in the housing 140, and a guide cylinder for the driving element, also accommodated in the housing 140. The second module 120 comprises an operating element 150, and the magazine module 130 comprises a driving channel, in which a fastening element is driven by the driving element in a setting direction 160 into a substrate (not shown), for example, made of steel, concrete, or wood, as well as a magazine 170 for feeding fastening elements into the driving channel.
[0014] The drive device includes, for example, a powder- or gas-operated combustion chamber, a compressed-air-operated pressure chamber, a mechanical or pneumatic drive spring, or an electrically operated flywheel. The driving energy to be transmitted to the fastening element can be adjusted using the control element 150.
[0015] In Fig. 2 a magazine module 200 with a magazine (not shown) is shown. The magazine module 200 comprises a plug-in part 210, which can be plugged into a plug-in receptacle of the first module 110 along a plug-in axis 230 defining a plug-in direction 220. The plug-in part 210 has a plurality of second projections 240 which follow one another in the plug-in direction 220 and which are provided to engage behind a first projection of the plug-in receptacle when the plug-in part 210 is in a locked position relative to the plug-in receptacle. In a circumferential direction around the plug-in axis 230 between the second projections 240, the plug-in part 210 has second intermediate spaces 250 which are provided to allow the first projections of the plug-in receptacle to pass along the plug-in axis 230 when the plug-in part 210 is in a passing position relative to the plug-in receptacle. The plug-in part 210 is rotatable in the plug-in receptacle between the locking position and the passing position in a direction of rotation 260 about the plug-in axis 230. The second projections 240 are arranged one behind the other in the plug-in direction 220 and next to each other in the direction of rotation 260. In the present exemplary embodiment, the second intermediate spaces 250 are offset from one another by 45° along the direction of rotation 260, so that a total of eight different passing positions are provided along a circumferential direction around the plug-in axis 230.
[0016] In the Fig. 3, 4 , 5 und 6 is a tool device 300 partially in a longitudinal section ( Fig. 3, 4 , 5 ) or in a cross-section ( Fig. 6 ). The tool device comprises a first module 310, for example a setting module, and a second module 320, for example a magazine module. The first module 310 and the second module 320 are plugged into one another along a plug-in axis 330 defining a plug-in direction. For this purpose, the first module 310 has a plug-in receptacle 315, while the second module 320 has a plug-in part 325 that can be plugged into the plug-in receptacle 315 along the plug-in axis 330. The plug-in part 325 is movable in the plug-in receptacle 315 between a locking position ( Fig. 3 ) and a passing position ( Fig. 4 ) in a direction of rotation about the plug-in axis 330, wherein the plug-in receptacle 315 has a plurality of first projections 316 following one another in the plug-in direction, and the plug-in part 325 has a plurality of second projections 326 following one another in the plug-in direction. In the blocking position, a second projection 326 engages behind a first projection 316 in the direction of the plug-in axis 330, and in the passing position, the first projections 316 allow the respective second projections 326 to pass in the direction of the plug-in axis 330.
[0017] The first module 310 has a pressure blocking element 340 which moves with the second module 320 and a pressure blocking element 350 ( Fig. 1 ). The pressure locking element 340 is designed as a sleeve arranged around the plug-in axis 330 and is arranged between a Fig. 3 shown normal position and one in Fig. 4 shown disassembly position relative to the pressure blocking element 350 about the plug-in axis 330. In the normal position, the second module 320 is held on the first module by means of the first and second projections 316, 326. In the disassembly position, the second module 320 can be removed from the first module 310 when a lock (not shown) is unlocked, for example manually. The pressure blocking element 340 has a pressure blocking contour 345, which comprises a plurality of radially projecting projections and whose movement along the plug-in axis 330 is limited by a blocking contour 355 ( Fig. 1 ) of the contact pressure blocking element 350 is blocked when the contact pressure blocking element 340 is in the disassembly position ( Fig. 4 ). As a result, the pressure blocking element 350 only allows the pressure blocking element 340 to be transferred along the plug-in axis 330 onto the remaining first module 310 into a pressure position when the pressure blocking element 340 is in the normal position, whereas the pressure blocking element 350 blocks the pressure blocking element 340 from being transferred into the pressure position when the pressure blocking element 340 is in the disassembly position.
[0018] Furthermore, the first module 310 has a locking mechanism 360, which causes the pressure locking element 340 to lock into the disassembly position when the second module 320 is removed from the first module 310 ( Fig. 5 ). This ensures that the contact pressure locking element 340 remains in the disassembly position and thus a transfer of the contact pressure locking element 340 into the contact pressure position is blocked by the contact pressure blocking element 350 when the second module 320 is removed from the first module 310. The locking mechanism 360 comprises a locking element 370, which is arranged and in particular fastened to the remaining first module 310, and a locking receptacle 380, which is arranged on the contact pressure locking element 340 and is designed in particular as a radial recess or radial passage in the contact pressure locking element 340. The locking element 370 engages in the locking receptacle 380 in order to cause the contact pressure locking element 340 to lock into the disassembly position, in particular when the second module 320 is removed from the first module 310 ( Fig. 5). The locking mechanism 360 comprises a locking spring 375, which forces the locking element 370 onto the locking receptacle 380. Preferably, the locking element 370 and the locking spring 375 are formed integrally, in the present example as a leaf spring.
[0019] The second module 320 has a cover element 390 which covers the locking receptacle 380 at least in the disassembly position in order to prevent the locking element 370 from engaging in the
[0020] Locking receptacle 380 to prevent when the second module 320 is held on the first module 310. This facilitates easy rotation of the pressure-locking element 340 and thus of the second module 320 from one normal position to the next normal position because the locking element 370 does not lock into the locking receptacle 380 in the intermediate disassembly position. Locking only occurs when the second module 320 is removed from the first module 310 and thus the cover element 390 releases the locking receptacle 380. The cover element 390 is designed as a driver which engages in the locking receptacle 380 in order to transmit a rotational movement of the second module 320 about the plug-in axis 330 to the pressure-locking element 340 when the second module 320 is held on the first module 310. A rotation of the plug-in part 325 from the locking position into the passing position causes the pressure locking element 340 to rotate from the normal position into the disassembly position.Likewise, a rotation of the plug-in part 325 from the passing position to the locking position causes the pressure locking element 340 to rotate from the disassembly position to the normal position.
[0021] The invention has been described using several exemplary embodiments of a setting tool. It is understood that all features of the individual exemplary embodiments can also be implemented in a single device in any combination, provided they do not contradict each other. It is also noted that the invention is also suitable for other applications, in particular for screwdriving devices or hammer drills and the like.
