Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a system with a household appliance for arrangement in a receiving space of a piece of furniture.
[0002] Such systems are already known in the prior art in a variety of embodiments. The known systems comprise a household appliance for placement in a receiving compartment of a piece of furniture, wherein a door of the system, which can be moved back and forth between a closed position and an open position, prevents access to a treatment compartment of the household appliance in its closed position and allows the aforementioned access in its open position.
[0003] Generic systems in which a front panel is provided for a piece of furniture are disclosed in the documents US 2004 041 503 A1 and US 2021 106 135 A1.
[0004] The invention therefore addresses the problem of improving a system with a household appliance for arrangement in a receiving space of a piece of furniture.
[0005] According to the invention, this problem is solved by a system having the features of patent claim 1, which is characterized in that a circumferential gap between the household appliance arranged in the receiving space on one side and the furniture on the other side can be adjusted or covered by means of the front frame in an installation position of the front frame.
[0006] Advantageous embodiments and further developments of the invention emerge from the following dependent claims.
[0007] The advantage achievable with the invention lies in the fact that a system with a household appliance for arrangement in a receiving space of a piece of furniture is improved. Due to the inventive design of the system, the installation of the household appliance in the receiving space of the piece of furniture is significantly simplified and thus more time-saving. Furthermore, a homogeneous design of a furniture front of the piece of furniture is very easy to implement with the inventive system, so that the overall visual impression of the inventive system with the piece of furniture or of the piece of furniture with the inventive system integrated therein is significantly improved in a manner that is simple in terms of construction and manufacturing technology. In particular, a gap that is too large and / or unevenly wide between the system's household appliance arranged in the receiving space of the furniture on one side and a furniture body of the furniture having the receiving space on the other side can be adjusted or covered in such a way that the overall visual impression of the furniture with the system's household appliance arranged therein is not impaired by such a gap. Furthermore, the design of the furniture front of the furniture can be designed very freely. For example, the front frame can be easily adapted to the design of the furniture or create a kind of smooth transition in the design language from the furniture to the system's household appliance.
[0008] In principle, the system according to the invention can be freely selected within wide, suitable limits in terms of type, mode of operation, material, dimensions, and arrangement. For example, the household appliance can be a kitchen appliance, such as an oven, a coffee machine, or the like, or a laundry appliance, such as a washing machine, a tumble dryer, or the like. Accordingly, the front frame of the system and its connection to the rest of the system, for example, the household appliance, can also be freely selected within wide, suitable limits.
[0009] A particularly advantageous development of the system according to the invention provides that the front frame can be connected to the rest of the system by means of at least one support element of the system, preferably a plurality of support elements of the system, particularly preferably a total of four support elements of the system, each of the support elements being assigned to one side of the household appliance. In this way, the front frame can be designed more freely and easily in order to fulfill its main function, namely adjusting or covering, i.e. concealing, the above-mentioned gap. This applies particularly to the preferred and in particular to the particularly preferred embodiment of this development. Furthermore, the preferred and in particular the particularly preferred embodiment have the further advantage that the at least one support element is easier to manufacture and assemble. In this way, the at least one support element can also be used for a variety of installation situations, for example a variety of different household appliances and / or furniture.
[0010] An advantageous development of the aforementioned development of the system according to the invention provides that the at least one support element is designed as a profile part, preferably as an endless profile part, particularly preferably as an extruded profile part. This significantly simplifies the production of the at least one support element and thus makes it very cost-effective. This applies particularly to the preferred and in particular to the particularly preferred embodiment of this development. Furthermore, the preferred and in particular the particularly preferred embodiment have the additional advantage that the at least one support element can be stocked as bar stock and then cut to length and installed on-site by a fitter or an end customer at the installation location of the system according to the invention.
[0011] According to the invention, the front frame is detachably connected to the at least one support element in its installed position, and the front frame is connected to the at least one support element by means of at least one magnetic connection, particularly preferably the front frame is connected to a plurality of support elements by means of a total of two magnetic connections per support element. In this way, not only the assembly but also the disassembly of the front frame and thus of the system according to the invention is significantly simplified. For example, when changing the furniture, i.e. in a new furniture environment after a move or the like, the front frame can be very easily replaced with an identical front frame with a different design. In principle, the detachable connection of the front frame to the at least one support element can be freely selected within wide suitable limits. The preferred embodiment of this development has the further advantage that magnetic force connections are particularly well suited for the aforementioned purpose and further simplify assembly and disassembly of the front frame. For example, drilling or other labor-intensive and difficult work is not required. The particularly preferred embodiment of this development also has the further advantage that the front frame is held in its installed position not just at one point, but at two points of the respective support element by means of magnetic force, so that on the one hand a sufficiently high holding force and security against torsion are possible and on the other hand smaller components are possible for producing the respective magnetic force connection, so that the installation space required for this can be significantly reduced.
[0012] An advantageous development of the latter development of the system according to the invention provides that the front frame is at least partially formed from a magnetic material. This allows the at least one magnetic force connection between the front frame and the at least one carrier element to be implemented in a particularly simple manner in terms of design and production technology. For example, it is conceivable for the front frame as a whole to be formed from a magnetic material. However, it is also possible for an inherently non-magnetic part of the front frame to be coated with a magnetic material or for the magnetic material to be arranged in places or, for example, on a side of the front frame facing the corresponding carrier element, essentially over the entire surface of the non-magnetic part of the front frame.
[0013] According to the invention, at least one permanent magnet, separate from the at least one support element, is arranged on the at least one support element to establish the aforementioned magnetic force connection. In this way, on the one hand, the part of the magnetic force connection acting between the front frame and the at least one support element in the installed position of the front frame, which part is arranged on the at least one support element, is realized in a particularly simple and robust manner. On the other hand, this permanent magnet can be freely arranged on the corresponding support element within wide suitable limits. For example, the support element can have several attachment locations for the permanent magnet, so that the fitter or the end customer can select on-site at which of these fundamentally possible attachment locations the permanent magnet will actually be arranged.
[0014] According to the invention, the at least one permanent magnet and / or the at least one support element are / is designed and arranged in such a way that the permanent magnet can be aligned relative to the corresponding support element and / or the support element relative to the rest of the system at least in one spatial direction, preferably in two spatial directions, particularly preferably in all three spatial directions. This makes it possible to adapt the position of the at least one permanent magnet and / or the position of the at least one support element to the structural conditions on site, so that the magnetic force connection of the front frame to the at least one support element in the installed position of the front frame enables, on the one hand, a firm connection between the front frame and the at least one support element and, on the other hand, proper functioning of the front frame. This applies particularly to the preferred and, in particular, to the particularly preferred embodiment of this refinement. For example, the aforementioned alignability makes it possible to align the permanent magnets of a plurality of permanent magnets relative to one another such that the surfaces of the permanent magnets facing the front frame lie essentially in a single plane. Accordingly, the front frame rests against the permanent magnets in its installed position without distortion.
[0015] According to the invention, the at least one permanent magnet and / or the at least one support element can be aligned by means of a screw connection or a snap-in connection of the system. This provides two very reliable and robust options for aligning the at least one permanent magnet and / or the at least one support element. Of course, other options for aligning two components relative to one another that are familiar to those skilled in the art are also fundamentally possible.
[0016] According to the invention, the system additionally comprises the furniture with the receiving space. This allows the system to be manufactured with fewer components and thus in a simpler design and manufacturing process. This is because a housing of the system, in which the household appliance is located and by means of which the household appliance can be arranged in the receiving space of the furniture, can be omitted.
[0017] Furthermore, an advantageous development of the system according to the invention is provided, referring back to one of claims 2-9.
[0018] An embodiment of the invention is shown purely schematically in the drawings and is described in more detail below. It shows Figure 1 shows an embodiment of the system according to the invention in a partial, perspective view, Figure 2 shows the embodiment in a partial, horizontal sectional view in the area of a support element along a first sectional plane, and Figure 3 shows the embodiment in relation to the Fig. 2 analog representation along a second cutting plane.
[0019] In the Fig. 1 to 3 An embodiment of the system according to the invention is shown purely as an example.
[0020] The system 2 comprises a household appliance (not shown) designed as an oven and a piece of furniture 4 with a receiving space 6 for the household appliance and a door of the system 2 (also not shown) that can be moved back and forth between a closed position and an open position, wherein a receiving space opening 8 of the receiving space 6 with the household appliance completely arranged therein is covered by the door in the closed position of the door and, in the open position of the door, access to the receiving space 6 by a user (not shown) of the system 2 is possible via the receiving space opening 8. In the present exemplary embodiment, the door of the system 2 is designed as an appliance door of the household appliance. However, it is also conceivable that in other embodiments of the system according to the invention the door is designed merely as a furniture door of the furniture or as a combined door, wherein a furniture door of the furniture and an appliance door of the household appliance are connected to one another by means of conventional connection techniques known to the person skilled in the art.
[0021] According to the invention, the system 2 is designed such that a front frame 10 of the system 2, which is separate from the household appliance, is designed and can be arranged such that a circumferential gap (not shown) between the household appliance arranged in the receiving space 6 on the one side and the furniture 4, namely a furniture body 12 of the furniture 4, on the other side can be adjusted or covered by means of the front frame 10 in an installation position of the front frame 10.
[0022] In the present embodiment, the front frame 10 can be connected to a remainder of the system 2, namely the furniture body 12 of the furniture 4, by means of a total of four support elements 14 of the system 2, wherein each of the support elements 14 is assigned to one side of the household appliance. See the Fig. 1 .
[0023] The four support elements 14 are each designed as a profile part, namely as an endless profile part, wherein the four support elements 14 are each manufactured as a continuous cast profile part.
[0024] The front frame 10 is detachably connected to each of the four support elements 14 in its installation position (not shown), wherein the front frame 10 is connected to the support elements 14 by means of a plurality of magnetic force connections, namely in such a way that the front frame 10 is connected by means of a total of two magnetic force connections per support element 14. The magnetic force connections are in the Fig. 1 to 3not explicitly shown.
[0025] For this purpose, the front frame 10 is formed at least partially from a magnetic material, for example, a magnetic metal or a magnetic alloy. However, other embodiments are also conceivable. See also the relevant comments in the introduction to the description.
[0026] In order to establish the aforementioned magnetic force connections, separate permanent magnets 16 are preferably arranged on each of the four support elements 14, which are attached to the respective corresponding support element 14, detachably or permanently, in a manner known per se to those skilled in the art. A total of two permanent magnets 16 are provided for each support element 14, each of which is arranged as far apart from one another as possible on the corresponding support element 14. Thus, a total of eight permanent magnets 16 are arranged in pairs distributed among the four support elements 14.
[0027] Furthermore, the invention provides that the permanent magnets 16 and / or the support elements 14 are designed and arranged in such a way that the respective permanent magnet 16 can be aligned relative to the corresponding support element 14 and / or the respective support element 14 can be aligned relative to a remainder of the system 2, namely to the furniture body 12 of the piece of furniture 4, at least in one spatial direction, preferably in two spatial directions, particularly preferably in all three spatial directions. The invention provides that alignment is only possible in one of the three spatial directions. In order to enable improved adaptation to the structural conditions on site, higher-quality embodiments of the system according to the invention can, however, provide that alignment is possible in two or even all three spatial directions. See also the relevant comments in the introduction to the description.
[0028] In principle, the at least one aforementioned alignment option can be freely selected within wide, suitable limits in terms of type, function, material, dimensions, and arrangement. According to the invention, the permanent magnets 16 and / or the support elements 14 can be aligned by means of at least one screw connection 18 or a locking connection of the system 2. See the Fig. 3 , in which one of these screw connections 18 is shown as an example.
[0029] In the following, the functioning of the system according to the invention according to the present embodiment is explained with reference to the Fig. 1 to 3 explained in more detail.
[0030] First, the furniture 4 with the furniture body 12 is located in the Fig. 1 shown state, in which the household appliance (not shown) is not yet arranged in the receiving space 6 of the furniture 4. The support elements 14 are not yet mounted.
[0031] Before the household appliance is inserted into the receiving space 6 of the furniture 4 via the receiving space opening 8, the four support elements 14 of the system 2 are first inserted, as shown in the Fig. 1 visible, mounted on the furniture body 12 of the furniture 4 in a manner known to the person skilled in the art, detachably or permanently and alignably or non-alignably.
[0032] Subsequently, the total of eight permanent magnets 16 are arranged in pairs distributed across the total of four support elements 14. See also the above explanations. However, it is also conceivable that the permanent magnets 16 are attached in advance, i.e., before the four support elements 14 are mounted on the furniture body 12, to the corresponding support elements 14, either detachably or permanently, and alignably or non-alignably.
[0033] After the four support elements 14 are attached to the furniture body 12 and the permanent magnets 16 are arranged on the corresponding support elements 14, the permanent magnets 16 and / or the support elements 14 can be aligned in at least one of the three spatial directions, as explained above.
[0034] As soon as the above alignment of the eight permanent magnets 16 relative to the respective corresponding support element 14 and / or the four support elements 14 relative to a remainder of the system 2, namely the furniture body 12 of the furniture 4, has been carried out, the user of the system 2 (not shown) can insert the household appliance into the receiving space 6 of the furniture 4 by means of the receiving space opening 8 and align it relative to the furniture body 12 of the furniture 4.
[0035] Finally, the user grasps the front frame 10 and brings it closer to the furniture body 12 with the support elements 14 arranged thereon in such a way that the magnetic force connections between the permanent magnets 16 arranged on the support elements 14 on one side and the magnetic front frame 10 on the other side are effective. The front frame 10 is attracted to the furniture body 12 with the support elements 14 by means of the magnetic forces and is releasably held.Due to the above-mentioned alignment of the permanent magnets 16 and / or the support elements 14 in at least one spatial direction, it is ensured that the front frame 10, in its installed position, is aligned relative to the furniture body 12 and the household appliance in such a torsion-free manner that the circumferential gap between the household appliance arranged in the receiving space 6 on one side and the furniture 4, namely the furniture body 12, on the other side is adjusted in its gap dimensions in such a way that a substantially uniform gap pattern results. Alternatively, however, it can also be provided that the front frame, in the now existing installed position of the front frame, covers the circumferential gap between the household appliance arranged in the receiving space on one side and the furniture, namely the furniture body, on the other side.
[0036] Due to the inventive design of the system 2, the assembly of the household appliance in the receiving space 6 of the furniture 4 is significantly simplified and thus saves time. Furthermore, a homogeneous design of a furniture front of the furniture 4 of the system 2 with the household appliance of the system 2 integrated into the furniture 4 is very easy to implement, so that the overall visual impression of the furniture 4 with the household appliance integrated therein is significantly improved in a simple manner in terms of design and production technology. In particular, a gap that is too large and / or unevenly wide between the household appliance of the system 2 arranged in the receiving space 6 of the furniture 4 on the one hand and a furniture body 12 of the furniture 4 having the receiving space 6 on the other side can be adjusted or covered over, so that the overall visual impression of the furniture 4 with the household appliance of the system 2 arranged therein is not impaired by such a gap.Furthermore, the design of the furniture front of the furniture 4 with the integrated household appliance can be designed very freely. For example, the front frame 10 can be easily adapted to the design of the furniture 4 or create a kind of smooth transition in the design language from the furniture 4 to the household appliance of the system 2.
[0037] However, the invention is not limited to the embodiment explained.
[0038] In other embodiments of the invention, it can also be provided that the at least one support element is designed in such a way that the support element can be stored as a bar product and then cut to length and installed on site by a fitter or an end customer at the installation location of the system according to the invention.
[0039] If present in the respective embodiment of the system according to the invention, the at least one magnetic force connection can be freely selected within wide, suitable limits. The person skilled in the art will make a suitable selection depending on the requirements of the individual case.
