Claims

1. A shower caddy system (1) for fastening in a shower corner which is formed by two wall surfaces disposed at a normal angle of 90° with respect to one another, comprising: a container (5) in the form of a corner caddy, which has two substantially flat side walls (3, 4) approximately at right angles with respect to one another and a floor (15) held by the side walls (3, 4) and spanned between them for the placement of bathroom utensils; and a base plate (7), which is composed of a first base part (10) and a second base part (11), which has flat adhesive surfaces (90, 91) on the rear side for self-adhesive strips (13) for fastening to each one of the two wall surfaces, as well as coupling elements (30, 31) constructed on the front side for fastening to each one of the two side walls (3, 4) of the container (5) ; wherein the outside of each side wall (3, 4) of the container (5) has coupling docks (6) which are constructed for a detachable connection to the coupling elements (30, 31) of the associated base part (10, 11) of the base plate (7) by means of an interlocking fit; characterized in that the two base parts (10, 11) are pivotally connected to one another via a single pivot joint (8), the axis of rotation (A) of which, in a final mounted state of the shower caddy system (1), extends vertically and therefore parallel to a shower corner edge formed by both wall surfaces; the container (5) can be coupled to and uncoupled from the base plate (7) by mutual displacement in a direction parallel to said axis of rotation (A) of the joint; and the coupling of at least one of the base parts (10, 11) and the associated side wall (3, 4) of the container (5) has a play both during the coupling procedure as well as in the mutually connected state, the play being in a manner such that constructional angular tolerances of both wall surfaces can be compensated for up to a predetermined maximum angular deviation from the 90° normal angle by a corresponding pivoting of the two base parts (10, 11) about the pivot joint (8).

2. The shower caddy system (1) as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that, in the case of a fastening of the container (5) in the shower corner which comprises more than two horizontally spaced fastening points, preferably a three-point fastening, the first base part (10) has two or more adhesive surfaces (90) for separate adhesive strips (13) which are spaced apart from one another in the horizontal direction in the final mounted state of the shower caddy system and which form two or more correspondingly spaced fastening points; while the second base part (11) has at least one adhesive surface (91) which forms at least one further fastening point, in particular a third fastening point of a three-point fastening.

The shower caddy system (1) as claimed in claim 2, characterized in that the coupling of the first base part (10) to the associated first side wall (3) of the container (5) is substantially without any play; while the coupling of the second base part (11) to the associated second side wall (4) of the container (5) is formed with said play.

The shower caddy system (1) as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterized in that at their upper edges (18) in the final mounted state of the shower caddy system (1), the side walls (3, 4) of the container (5) have, at least in sections above the coupling docks (6), a horizontally outwardly protruding shoulder-shaped border (19), the underside of which forms a support surface (22) which is constructed to rest on associated shoulder surfaces (14) of the base plate (7) during or for the connection thereof to the coupling docks (6).

The shower caddy system (1) as claimed in claim 4, characterized in that in the final mounted state of the shower caddy system (1) and in the horizontal direction, the shoulder-shaped border (19) completely covers the coupling docks (6) and / or the coupling elements (30, 31) of the base plate (7) coupled thereto, or completely covers a gap formed between the respective side wall (3, 4) of the container (5) and a wall surface to which it is fastened.

The shower caddy system (1) as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the two substantially flat side walls (3, 4) of the container (5) extend vertically upwards from its floor (15) and are connected by one or two further wall sections, preferably respectively rounded, in order to form a container wall which completely encloses the floor (15) on all sides.

7. The shower caddy system (1) as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the floor (15) has a plurality of through openings (16) which are constructed for water to flow out of the container (5).

8. The shower caddy system (1) as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the self-adhesive strips (13) are provided separately from the base plate (7) as double-sided self-adhesive, preferably stretch-releasable, adhesive strips (13) for subsequent attachment to the base plate (7) and are each protected on their two adhesive surfaces by non-adhesive cover films.

9. A method for fastening a shower caddy system (1) as claimed in one of the preceding claims in a shower corner, which is formed by two wall surfaces disposed at a normal angle of 90° with respect to each other, comprising the steps of: providing the base plate (7) with adhesive strips (13) which are self-adhesive, which are attached to each of its adhesive surfaces (90, 91), the adhesive surfaces of which that face away from the adhesive surfaces (90, 91) being protected with non-adhesive cover films; coupling the base plate (7) to the container (5) by interlocking the coupling elements (30, 31) of the respective base part (10, 11) of the base plate (7) to the coupling docks (6) of the associated side wall (3, 4) of the container (5); removing the cover films from the adhesive strips on the first base part (10) of the base plate (7); placing the container (5) with the second base part (11) on a first of the two wall surfaces and moving the container (5) in the direction of the wall corner until the first base part (10) adheres to the second wall surface; upwardly uncoupling the container (5) from the base plate (7); pivoting the second base part (11) about the pivot joint (8) away from the first wall surface and then removing the cover films from its adhesive strips (13); pressing the second base part (11) onto the first wall surface until the second base part (11) also adheres to the first wall surface; repeatedly pressing all adhesive surfaces (90, 91) of the base plate (7) onto the respective wall surfaces by exerting pressure on coupling-side surfaces (20, 21) of both base parts (10, 11), wherein each adhesive strip (13) is pressed at a plurality of positions distributed over its entire adhesive surface; and finally, coupling the container (5) to the base plate (7) by pushing its coupling docks (6) from above into the associated coupling elements (30, 31) of the base plate (7).

10. The method for fastening a shower caddy system (1) as claimed in claim 8 in a shower corner, which is formed by two wall surfaces disposed at a normal angle of 90° with respect to each other, comprising the steps of: coupling the base plate (7) to the container (5) by interlocking the coupling elements (30, 31) of the respective base part (10, 11) of the base plate (7) with the coupling docks (6) of the associated side wall (3, 4) of the container (5); attaching adhesive strips (13) to all adhesive surfaces (90, 91) of the base plate (7) by removing the cover film from each adhesive strip (13) on only one of its two adhesive surfaces and by pressing this adhesive surface onto one of the adhesive surfaces (90,91) of the base plate (7) to attach it thereto; removing the cover films on the adhesive surfaces of all adhesive strips (13) on the first base part (10) of the base plate which face away from the adhesive surfaces (90, 91); placing the container (5) with the second base part (11) on a first of the two wall surfaces and moving the container (5) in the direction of the wall corner until the first base part (10) adheres to the second wall surface; upwardly uncoupling the container (5) from the base plate (7); pivoting the second base part (11) about the pivot joint (8) away from the first wall surface and then removing the remaining cover films from its adhesive strips (13); pressing the second base part (11) onto the first wall surface until the second base part (11) also adheres to the first wall surface; repeatedly pressing all adhesive surfaces (90, 91) of the base plate (7) onto the respective wall surface by exerting pressure on the coupling-side surfaces (20, 21) of both base parts (10, 11), wherein each adhesive strip (13) is pressed at a plurality of positions distributed over its entire adhesive surface in order to obtain uniform adhesion thereof to the respective wall surface; and finally, coupling the container (5) to the base plate (7) by pushing its coupling docks (6) from above into the associated coupling elements (30, 31) of the base plate (7).
