Description
[0001] The invention relates to the technical field of collection containers, in particular for the collection of waste.
[0002] Recently, there has been a growing desire among the population to avoid unnecessary waste and to recycle as much waste as possible. To this end, it is common practice to separate household waste into recyclable and non-recyclable waste. Non-recyclable household waste is often collected in a container, usually a garbage can, while recyclable waste, such as reusable plastics or paper and cardboard, is collected in separate, designated containers and then placed out for collection. Collection is generally carried out by local waste management companies, which often use specialized vehicles to collect these containers and transfer the contents into their vehicles.
[0003] For large containers, such as garbage bins with a capacity of several hundred liters, commonly used in residential complexes and similar locations, it is known to secure the main lid with a lock to prevent unauthorized opening. This lock opens automatically when the bin is emptied by a vehicle at a certain angle of inclination, such as 35°, eliminating the need for manual operation. The now unlocked lids then automatically swing open at an angle of approximately 90°.
[0004] This means that when a suitable vehicle picks up such an equipped receiving container and swivels it for emptying, the lock releases the lid of this receiving container from the specified swivel angle, so that manual unlocking is not necessary.

Particularly in households with smaller waste volumes, it is common to provide several containers, such as bins, each for a different type of household waste, for example, recyclable household waste on the one hand and non-recyclable household waste on the other, in order to dispose of them appropriately.

[0007] Based on the aforementioned prior art, the present invention aims to further develop a collection container with regard to its functionality and safety in such a way that it can simultaneously collect several types of waste, such as recyclable and non-recyclable waste, without mixing them, is effectively secured against unauthorized use, and optionally enables automatic emptying by a suitable vehicle, while being cost-effective and easy to manufacture and having a long service life.

[0010] The arrangement of a lid for each receiving chamber ensures that only the intended type of waste is introduced into the respective chamber at all times. The waste can consist, for example, of non-recyclable household waste on the one hand and recyclable waste such as plastics or paper on the other. The waste container 1 comprises two collection chambers 3, 4, spatially separated from each other by a vertically arranged partition 2. Claims
1. The receiving container (1) of claim 1, characterized by that the pivot lever (11) is mounted in a second housing (12) so that it can pivot about a second pivot axis (13), a woodpecker head-like holding area (14) being formed on one end region of the pivot lever (11) spaced apart from the second pivot axis (13) and close to the lower housing part (8) of the first housing, and a weight (17) being formed on the other end region of the pivot lever (11), also spaced apart from the second pivot axis (13), by means of which the pivot lever (11) automatically pivots into the locking position in the normal position of use of the garbage bin (1) and is held in this position, the free end region of the pivot lever (11) extending through the second housing (12) in the direction of the lower housing part (8) of the first housing, and the woodpecker head-like holding area (14) being formed there.
3. The receiving container (1) of claim 2, characterized by that the locking device has a first barrier web (15) which, in the normal position of use of the receiving container (1), runs approximately parallel to the standing plane of the receiving container (1), is arranged between holding elements projecting vertically from the lower housing part (8) in the direction of the ground and, in the locking position, is engaged from behind by the woodpecker head-like holding area (14), so that the cover (5, 6) is fixed in the closed position.

The receiving container (1) of claim 3, characterized by that the pivot lever (11) has two woodpecker head-like holding areas (14), which are spaced apart and arranged parallel to one another, and which can be pivoted together about the second pivot axis (13), in the closed position, the first woodpecker head-like holding area (14) engaging behind the first barrier web (15) and the second woodpecker head-like holding area (14) engaging behind a second barrier web (15) which is arranged indirectly on the other cover (5 or 6) and projecting into the receiving area in the closed position and fixes the other cover (5 or 6).
5. The receiving container (1) of one of claims 1 to 4, characterized by that the actuating element (9) is held in the locked position against the force of a spring and the pivot lever (11) is held in the locked position by the gravity of the earth.
6. The receiving container (1) of one of claims 2 to 5, characterized by that the second housing (12) has guiding means (16) along which the second end of the pivot lever (11) is guided together with the weight (17) arranged there.
7. The receiving container (1) of one of claims 2 to 6, characterized by that the woodpecker head-like end (14) of the pivot lever (11) has a hook-like first slope, a pointedly tapering region opposite this slope, and a contact surface (18) as an abutment for the actuation lever (9).
