Abstract
Description
Advanced module for a container shelter, container shelter, and system comprising such a container shelter
[0001] The field of invention is that of voluntary contribution points, also called (PAV), which are mainly found at the community level as part of selective waste collection. State of the prior art
[0002] A voluntary drop-off point generally comprises, as shown in the figure, a system 1 comprising a bin shelter 2 which houses or protects a bin 3, i.e. a bin, for example of 240 litres.
[0003] A bin shelter typically has side and bottom walls defining an interior volume for the bin shelter, as well as a door allowing the bin to be housed within the interior volume. It may also have a hatch for access to the bin.
[0004] Made of wood or steel, this device can be found in different configurations: one door for a 240 to 360 litre bin, two doors for a 660 to 770 litre bin, or two 360 litre bins.
[0005] A first technical problem is that when opening the access hatch 4, it is common to find pests (flies, wasps, etc.) escaping. In fact, these pests manage to enter from below the shelter, to climb up the length of the tank and then lodge themselves in the tank.
[0006] A second technical problem is the presence of odors around these voluntary contribution points, resulting from the decomposition of products stored in the bins. This is especially true if biowaste is found there.
[0007] A third technical problem results from the second: the decomposition of biowaste reduces the methanogenic power of biowaste, a power which could be exploited by methanizers in the context of the development of renewable energies.
[0008] A fourth technical problem is linked to the improvement of the recovery efficiency of bins by a local authority: at present, and to avoid voluntary contribution points stinking, the frequency of recovery is much higher than that of filling the bins. This results in energy costs (passage of a household waste truck (BOM) which consumes almost 80 L per 100 km, salary costs (mandatory presence of three people) and significant pollution.
[0009] One aim of the invention is to remedy at least one of these problems.
[0010] One aim of the invention is in particular to remedy all or part of the aforementioned drawbacks.
[0011] To this end, according to a first aspect of the invention, a module for a container shelter is proposed, suitable for receiving a container, comprising a fixed part intended to be fixed to a roof of the container shelter, and a part which can move in translation on the fixed part, a seal being provided between the fixed part and the moving part, the moving part having a low position in which a seal is provided between the moving part and the container and a high position in which the container is free to move relative to the moving part.
[0012] The module may further include means for moving the movable part between the low position and the high position.
[0013] The module may also include a vacuum pump whose inlet is fluidically connected to an interior of the tank intended to receive the waste and whose outlet is connected to the atmosphere outside the tank shelter.
[0014] The module may further comprise a solid filtration media 108 fluidly arranged between the outlet of the vacuum pump and the atmosphere outside the tank shelter.
[0015] Advantageously, the module further comprises a level sensor and telecommunication means configured to send data on the filling level of the tank.
[0016] According to a second aspect of the invention, there is provided a container shelter comprising a module according to the first aspect of the invention, or one or more of its improvements.
[0017] According to a third aspect of the invention, there is provided a system comprising a shelter bin according to the second aspect of the invention, or one or more of its improvements, and a bin.
[0018] According to a fourth aspect of the invention, there is proposed a method implemented in a system according to the third aspect of the invention, or one or more of its improvements, comprising a step of positioning the moving part in the low position.
[0019] The method may include a step of triggering a vacuum pump.
[0020] The process may include a step of returning the contents of the tank to atmospheric pressure.
[0021] The method may include a step of recording a filling level, by transmitting, by telecommunications means of the tank module, level data measured by a level sensor.
[0022] According to a final aspect of the invention, a module for a container shelter is proposed, suitable for receiving a container, said module comprising a fixed part forming a conduit and intended to be fixed to a roof of the container shelter and a part which can move between a module coupling position in which the opening of the container is connected to the fixed part in a sealed manner and a module decoupling position in which the container is free to move relative to the module.
[0023] The first aspect of the invention described above is an embodiment of this last aspect of the invention.
[0024] Alternatively, in the coupling position, a seal is created between the fixed part and the tray, the tray being free to move relative to the fixed part of the module in the decoupling position. Description of figures
[0025] Other advantages and particularities of the invention will appear on reading the detailed description of implementations and embodiments which are in no way limiting, with regard to the appended drawings in which: includes a diagram of a bin shelter according to the prior art; includes three drawings of the different elements of the invention, according to a first embodiment; illustrates the implementation of a level sensor on a module according to the invention; includes three drawings of the different elements of the invention, according to a second embodiment. Description of embodiments
[0026] The embodiments described below being in no way limiting, it will be possible in particular to consider variants of the invention comprising only a selection of the characteristics described, subsequently isolated from the other characteristics described, if this selection of characteristics is sufficient to confer a technical advantage or to differentiate the invention compared to the state of the prior art. This selection comprises at least one characteristic, preferably functional without structural details, or with only a part of the structural details if this part only is sufficient to confer a technical advantage or to differentiate the invention compared to the state of the prior art.
[0027] In the figures, an element appearing in several figures retains the same reference.
[0028] presents a module 100 according to a first embodiment of the invention.
[0029] A container shelter equipped with a module 100 according to the invention is part of the invention.
[0030] A system S implementing a shelter bin 200 according to the invention and a bin 300 is part of the invention.
[0031] A method of collecting bins in the bin shelter 200 is part of the invention.
[0032] The module 100, the bin shelter 200, the system S and the bin collection process will now be described.
[0033] The module 100 essentially comprises 2 parts: one fixed 102, of essentially parallelepiped shape, which is fixed on an upper surface 202, also called roof, of the shelter 200. one mobile 104, between a so-called high position shown in the second drawing of the and a so-called low position shown in the third drawing of the. A seal 102e is produced between the fixed part and the mobile part.
[0034] The fixed part 102 serves as a conduit.
[0035] The conduit opens on the one hand onto the opening made in the roof 202 and made selectively accessible by the hatch 204 of the shelter.
[0036] The conduit also opens out on the top side of the 300 tank.
[0037] In its low position, illustrated in the third drawing, the part 104 is partially inserted into the container 300. A seal 104e is produced between the part 104 and the container 300. Preferably the seal 104e is peripheral in order to remain clean and not come into contact with the contents of the container.
[0038] In its upper position, illustrated in the second drawing, the part 104 is not inserted into the tray 300. The tray can be moved without the part 104 getting in the way.
[0039] The module 100 may further comprise means for moving the movable part 104 between the two positions, which may for example be formed by a mechanism actuated by a rack handle 206, arranged inside the container shelter.
[0040] It will be observed that when the hatch 204 is closed and the movable part 104 is in the low position, it is no longer possible for odors to be released, the seal with the exterior being ensured by a seal between the hatch and the roof of the shelter, which addresses the first two technical problems.
[0041] To prevent the degradation of the waste by the oxygen present in the bin 300, it is proposed to equip the module 100 with a vacuum pump 106. According to one possibility, there may be only one vacuum pump for a bin shelter intended to receive several bins.
[0042] The inlet of the vacuum pump 106 is in fluid connection with an interior of the container intended to receive the waste. The inlet of the vacuum pump may for example be connected to the interior of the fixed part 102. Alternatively, the inlet of the vacuum pump may for example be connected to the interior of the movable part 104.
[0043] The output of the vacuum pump 106 is connected to the atmosphere outside the shelter tank 200.
[0044] The module may further comprise a solid filtration medium 108 connected on the one hand to the outlet of the vacuum pump 106 and on the other hand to the external atmosphere. The solid filtration medium may for example be a carbon filter. It is proposed, when the hatch 204 is closed and the movable part 104 is in the low position, to start the vacuum pump and to create a vacuum within the tank: on the one hand the air present in the tank is emptied and the waste is thus preserved, on the other hand the quality of the sealing is improved (the seals are crushed), which addresses the third technical problem. The duration of a vacuum pump cycle may be between 5 and 15 seconds.
[0045] The vacuum pump can be triggered by a command. This can be a manual command, such as a button. The command can also be generated following an event. For example, the command can be generated following the closing of a roof hatch.
[0046] The module can be powered by connecting the pump to a power supply independent of the module.
[0047] Alternatively, or in addition, the module can be powered by a solar panel 208.
[0048] Alternatively, or in addition, the module can be powered by a battery 210, possibly recharged by a solar panel 208.
[0049] It is planned to return to atmospheric pressure by means of valves, which can be activated before opening the hatch. Alternatively, there may be only one valve for a bin shelter designed to accommodate several bins.
[0050] The return to atmospheric pressure can be achieved by means of a command. This can, for example, be a manual command, such as a button. The command can also be generated following an event. For example, the command can be generated before the moving part moves from the low position to the high position.
[0051] With reference to, the possibility of integrating a level sensor (110) on the module is now described, to determine a filling level of the bin, for example a level of bio waste. Associated with telecommunications means, an alert can be sent to the person responsible for collection as soon as the measured level is higher than a predetermined level. The figure illustrates an ultrasonic level sensor, fixed on a lateral part of the fixed part 102. Alternatively, other types of level sensors can be used, for example a float.
[0052] More generally, the present invention proposes a module 100, 100' for a container shelter 200 suitable for receiving a container 300, said module comprising a fixed part 102, 102' forming a conduit and intended to be fixed to a roof 202 of the container shelter and a movable part 104' between a coupling position of the module in which the container 300 is connected to the fixed part in a sealed manner and a decoupling position of the module in which the container is free to move relative to the module.
[0053] In the first embodiment, the low position of the moving part 104 constitutes the coupling position while the high position constitutes the high position of the moving part 104 constitutes the decoupling position.
[0054] A second embodiment of a module 100' according to the invention is now described with reference to the, solely for its differences with the first embodiment.
[0055] The moving part 104' is movable between a so-called low position shown in the second drawing of the and a so-called high position shown in the third drawing of the.
[0056] Unlike the previous embodiment, no seal is formed between the part
[0057] There is no sealing between the fixed part and the moving part, which makes the second embodiment simpler to implement.
[0058] In its high, coupling position, illustrated in the third drawing, the part 102' is partially inserted into the tank 300. A seal 102e' is produced between the part 102' and the tank 300. Preferably the seal 102e' is peripheral in order to remain clean and not come into contact with the contents of the tank.
[0059] In its lower position, illustrated in the second drawing, the part 102' is not inserted into the tray 300. The tray can be moved without the part 102' getting in the way.
[0060] The module 100' may further comprise means for moving the movable part 104' between the two positions, which may for example be formed by a means for lifting the movable part 104'. The movable part may be the movable part of the lifting means.
[0061] The module may further comprise a solid filtration medium 108' connected on the one hand to the outlet of the vacuum pump 106' and on the other hand to the external atmosphere. The solid filtration medium may for example be a carbon filter. It is proposed, when the hatch 204 is closed and the movable part 104' is in the high position, to start the vacuum pump and to create a vacuum within the tank: on the one hand the air present in the tank is emptied and the waste is thus preserved, on the other hand the quality of the sealing is improved (the seals are crushed), which responds to the third technical problem.
[0062] By implementing waterproofing and anaerobic conditions, the company or community responsible for collection reduces the frequency of passage while eliminating nuisances for users.
[0063] Of course, the invention is not limited to the examples just described and many adjustments can be made to these examples without departing from the scope of the invention. In addition, the various features, forms, variants and embodiments of the invention can be combined with each other in various combinations to the extent that they are not incompatible or mutually exclusive.
