Abstract
Description
Background of the invention
[0001] The invention relates to a corner hinge for connecting a sash of a window or door to a fixed frame of the window or door, wherein the corner hinge comprises the following: A) a frame part that can be attached to the fixed frame; B) a sash part that can be attached to the sash and is pivotable relative to the frame part in order to allow the sash to pivot from a closed position of the corner hinge to an open position relative to the frame part; C) a support bolt rotatably arranged in an opening of the sash part.
[0002] From EP 0 803 625 B1, such a corner hinge of this type is known, having a support bolt which is supported at its lower end by a ball head. The ball head enables a tilting opening of a sash connected to this corner hinge.
[0003] Several methods are known for using a corner hinge to connect a tilt-and-turn sash to a fixed frame. The corner hinge can be designed – in an aesthetically pleasing manner – as a concealed hinge, which is largely invisible when the sash is closed. Such a corner hinge is known, for example, from EP 2 385 204 A2 of the applicant.
[0004] The FR 2 881 167 A1 reveals a corner bearing with several adjustment options.
[0005] The applicant is also aware of a competitor's product in which a support bolt is firmly connected to a tab of a corner bearing, the tab being tiltable to enable a tilting function of a sash of a window or door.
[0006] Finally, the applicant is aware of a competitor's product in which a support bolt is pivotably arranged on a tab of a corner bearing in order to implement a tilting function.
[0007] The problem with the known corner hinges, however, is that either there is no way to tilt a sash or the corner hinge is not stable enough to support the sash without sagging during continuous operation. Object of the invention
[0008] It is therefore an object of the invention to provide a corner hinge that allows for tilting and is also particularly stable. It is a further object of the invention to provide a window or door with such a corner hinge. Description of the invention
[0009] This problem is solved according to the invention by a corner bearing according to claim 1 and a window or a door according to claim 9. The dependent claims describe preferred embodiments.
[0010] The problem according to the invention is thus solved by a corner bearing as described above, wherein D) the support bolt has an axially extending contour at an acute angle to the longitudinal axis of the support bolt on a radial side of its free end, wherein the inner wall of the opening in the closed position is at least sectionally spaced from this contour to allow the sash part to tilt relative to the frame part; and E) the support bolt, viewed in the direction of its longitudinal axis, is sectionally radially eccentric to its longitudinal axis.
[0011] The sectionally eccentric design of the support bolt counteracts the tilting of the open sash (in the open position of the corner hinge). At the same time, the angled contour of the support bolt allows a tilting movement of the sash section (and thus the sash itself) in the closed position of the corner hinge.
[0012] In the present application, "closing position" refers to " "Open position" and " Tilting position " The movement always applies to the corner hinge, to the sash (if attached to the sash part of the corner hinge), and to the window or door with the corner hinge. The corner hinge can be moved from the closed position to the tilted position and back to the closed position.
[0013] Spatial terms such as "above", "below", "horizontal" and the like refer in the present application to the state of the corner bearing when mounted in a window or door.
[0014] The chamfer of the contour of the support bolt preferably has an angle between 1° and 80°, in particular between 2° and 60°, and most preferably between 5° and 30°, to the longitudinal axis of the support bolt.
[0015] Preferably, the inner wall of the opening is also eccentrically shaped, in particular adapted to the eccentric shape of the support bolt. This ensures a particularly smooth opening movement with reliable support and guidance of the support bolt on the inner wall of the opening.
[0016] Furthermore, the opening may have a radial constriction at its lower end. This constriction allows for both a large tilting angle of the support bolt within the opening and good guidance of the support bolt.
[0017] The support bolt can be essentially mushroom-shaped. At its free end, the support bolt can have an axially elongated head section that is wider and chamfered compared to its lower end.
[0018] In a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, the corner bearing comprises a lug arrangement with a support lug and a first control lug. The lug arrangement is designed to guide the pivoting opening movement of the wing section. The support bolt can be arranged on the support lug.
[0019] The support bracket can be rotatably mounted on the first control bracket. The first control bracket can be rotatably mounted on the frame member. The bracket assembly can further include a second control bracket, rotatably mounted on the sash member and rotatably mounted on the first control bracket. Alternatively or additionally, the bracket assembly can include a third control bracket, rotatably mounted on the support bracket and rotatably mounted on the frame member. The bracket assembly allows for a large opening angle of the sash member relative to the frame member in the open position of the corner hinge while efficiently transferring the sash load.
[0020] The wing part can have a stop projection that, in the closed position, abuts the tab arrangement and / or the frame part, so that a defined closed position is achieved.
[0021] The support bolt is preferably arranged in a rotationally fixed manner. This significantly stabilizes the corner bearing and prevents sagging when high sash loads are borne. The support bolt is preferably attached to the support bracket in a rotationally fixed manner.
[0022] The wing section is preferably supported axially on the support bolt, either directly or indirectly, via a threaded stud screwed into the opening. The opening of the wing section may have an internal thread for screwing in the threaded stud. At least one buffer element may be provided between the threaded stud and the support bolt. This buffer element may be provided to reduce friction when the corner hinge is pivoted open.
[0023] The support bolt can rotate between 0° and 50° around its longitudinal axis when the corner hinge is moved from the closed to the open position. This allows for particularly secure guidance and good support by the support bolt throughout the entire opening movement. Preferably, the longitudinal bolt rotates only between 0° and 30°, and more specifically between 0° and 20°, around its longitudinal axis.
[0024] To allow the sash to open as wide as possible, the sash section is preferably pivotable by more than 160° relative to the frame section, particularly around the longitudinal axis of the pivot pin. The sash section is preferably pivotable by more than 170°, particularly more than 180°, so that the opened sash (corner hinge in the open position) does not protrude into the room. The sash section is preferably pivotable by a maximum of 330°, particularly a maximum of 300°, and most preferably a maximum of 270°, relative to the frame section.
[0025] The problem according to the invention is further solved by a window or door with a fixed frame, a sash, and a corner hinge described herein, which is arranged between the fixed frame and the sash for pivoting and tilting the sash. The corner hinge is preferably arranged on the underside of the sash.
[0026] The corner hinge can be designed as a concealed corner hinge, which, in the closed position, is predominantly, or even completely, concealed between the sash and the fixed frame. This design of the window or door is particularly aesthetically pleasing, as essentially no corner hinge is visible in the closed position.
[0027] Further advantages of the invention will become apparent from the description and the drawing. Likewise, the features mentioned above and those described in more detail below can each be used individually or in any combination according to the invention. The embodiments shown and described are not to be understood as an exhaustive list, but rather serve as examples for illustrating the invention. Detailed description of the invention and drawing
[0028] Fig. 1a shows a top view of part of a window with a fixed frame, a sash, and a corner hinge for connecting the sash to the fixed frame, with the corner hinge and window in the closed position. Fig. 1b shows an enlarged top view of the corner hinge in the closed position. Fig. 1a in standalone position. Figs. 2-4 show the corner bearing according to Fig. 1b in an increasingly open position. Fig. 5a shows the window according to Fig. 1ain the open position. Fig. 5b shows the corner bearing in the open position according to Fig. 5a in enlarged isolation. Fig. 6 shows a sectional view of the corner bearing according to Fig. 1b , where the section passes through a support bolt of the corner bearing. Fig. 7 shows the sectional view according to Fig. 6 , with the corner bearing in the tilted position. Fig. 8 shows the sectional view according to Fig. 6 , wherein the corner bearing is in the open position according to Fig. 5b is located.
[0029] Fig. 1a shows a window 10 with a fixed frame 12 and a wing 14. Wing 14 is supported via a corner bearing 16 on the fixed frame 12. The corner bearing 16 is designed in the form of a concealed corner bearing, so that it is in the Fig. 1a The closed position shown is practically invisible.
[0030] Fig. 1b shows the corner bearing 16 without fixed frame 12 and wing 14 (see Fig. 1a ).
[0031] Fig. 2 The corner bearing 16 is shown in a partially open position. From Fig. 2 It is evident that the corner bearing 16 is connected to the fixed frame 12 (see Fig. 1a ) connectable frame part 18 as well as one with the wing 14 (see Fig. 1a ) connectable wing part 20 The wing section 20 has a stop projection. 22 on, which the movement of the corner bearing 16 (see Fig. 1b ) limited to the closed position.
[0032] Between the frame part 18 and the wing part 20 there is a tab arrangement 24 provided that the wing part 20 during the opening movement from the closed position according to Fig. 1b into the open position according to Fig. 5b from the fixed frame 12 (see Fig. 1a ) spaced apart and swivelled.
[0033] The tab arrangement 24 preferably has a carrying tab. 26, a first tax loop 28 and a second tax tab30 The tab arrangement 24 can still have a slot. 32 The first control tab 28 can be rotatably mounted on the frame part 18. The support tab 26 can be rotatably mounted on the first control tab 28. The support tab 26 can also be guided at one end in the slot 32. Alternatively, the support tab 26 can be guided on the frame part 18 via a third control tab (not shown).
[0034] The second control tab 30 can each be arranged with a rotatable connection between the first control tab 28 and the wing part 20.
[0035] Fig. 3 The corner bearing 16 is shown in a further opened state. The in Fig. 3 The position shown corresponds to an opening angle of 90°. In this position, the wing 14 protrudes (see Fig. 1a ) perpendicular to the fixed frame 12 (see Fig. 1a ) protruding into the room.
[0036] Fig. 4The corner bearing 16 is shown in an even wider open position. From Fig. 4 It is evident that the wing section 20 in this state has already swung far beyond the frame section 18. A wing 14 (see Fig. 1a ) with high wing weight already exerts a considerable torque on the frame part 18 and a high bending moment on the tabs 26, 28 in this position.
[0037] Fig. 5a The window 10 with the corner hinge 16 in the open position is shown, with the sash 14 being opened 180° to the fixed frame 12.
[0038] Fig. 5b The figure shows the associated corner bearing 16 in isolation. In the open position shown, the support bracket 26 rests section by section on the first control bracket 28, so that a high weight of the sash 14 (see Fig. 5a ) reliably within frame 12 (see Fig. 5a ) can be removed.
[0039] Fig. 6 shows the cut corner bearing 16 in the closed position (cf. Fig. 1b ). Out of Fig. 6 It is evident that the corner bearing 16 has a support bolt arranged in a rotationally fixed manner on the support bracket 26. 34 The support bolt 34 has a projection for this purpose. 36 on, which is inserted into the support bracket 26. The projection 36 has a flattened section on the side to ensure the correct mounting position. The support bolt 34 is in an opening. 38 of wing part 20.
[0040] The support bolt 34 has a longitudinal axis 40 on, which runs centrally, in particular radially rotationally symmetrically, through the support bolt 34 in the area of its fixed end, but outside the projection 36. In order to prevent the support bracket 26 from tilting in the open position of the corner bearing 16 (see Fig. 8 ), the free end of the support bolt 34 has a free longitudinal axis offset from the longitudinal axis 40 42a line runs centrally, in particular radially rotationally symmetrically, through the free end of the support bolt 34. The free end of the support bolt 34 is designed eccentrically to its longitudinal axis 40, in particular by the offset of the free longitudinal axis 42 to the longitudinal axis 40.
[0041] In the present case, an inner wall 44 The opening 38 in the area of the free end of the support bolt 34 is also formed eccentrically to the inner wall 44 in the area of the attached end but outside the projection 36 of the support bolt 34.
[0042] Fig. 7 The corner bearing 16 is shown in the tilted position. From Fig. 7 It is evident that the free end of the support bolt 34 has a contour chamfered with respect to its longitudinal axis 40. 46 The contour 46 has a feature to allow the wing section 20 to tilt relative to the support bracket 26. The contour 46 has an acute angle. 48 on.
[0043] Fig. 8shows the corner bearing 16 in the open position (see also Fig. 5b ). Out of Fig. 8 It is evident that a tilting of the wing part 20 is prevented by the fact that the lifting bolt 34 is secured on the one hand in the area of its free end (especially at reference numeral 50 ) on the inner wall 44 and on the other hand in the area of its fixed end (especially at reference numerals) 52 ) at a constriction (radial with respect to the longitudinal axis 40 of the support bolt 34) 54 the opening 38. The eccentric design of the free end of the lifting bolt 34 particularly effectively prevents the wing section 20 from tilting.
[0044] The support of the wing part 20 on the support bolt 34 (axial with respect to the longitudinal axis 40 of the support bolt 34) is preferably provided by a threaded pin screwed into the opening 38. 56. A buffer part can be placed between the threaded pin 56 and the support bolt 34. 58provided for. Both the threaded pin 56 and the buffer part 58 are in Fig. 8 only shown schematically.
[0045] In summary, considering all figures of the drawing, the invention relates in particular to a corner hinge 16 with a frame part 18 and a sash part 20 that is pivotable horizontally relative to the frame part 18. The sash part 20 is supported on a support bolt 34. The support bolt 34 can be attached, in particular in a rotationally fixed manner, at its lower end to a support bracket 26 of a bracket arrangement 24. At its upper end, the support bolt 34 is preferably formed eccentrically to its lower end above the support bracket 34 and has a chamfered contour 46. The eccentric design of the support bolt 34 with respect to its longitudinal axis 40 prevents the sash part 20 from tilting in the open position of the corner hinge 16, even under high loads on the sash part 20. The chamfered contour 46 allows the sash part 20 to tilt in the closed position of the corner hinge 16.The support bolt 34 is preferably received in an opening 38, in particular in the form of an axial through-opening, of the sash part 20, which may have a constriction 54 in the lower region of the support bolt 34, i.e., a narrowing of the radial width of the opening 38. The invention further relates to a window 10 or a door with such a corner hinge 16. Reference symbol list
