AI Technical Summary
In larger and taller furniture or household appliances like refrigerators and freezers, the top or base support plates tend to lower during translational-rotational movement, requiring precise vertical distance maintenance between components to ensure stability and alignment.
A guide bearing system with a cam track and linear guide is implemented, featuring a guide element that can be variably adjusted perpendicular to the support plates, using rollers or balls supported by axial or pivot bearings, to maintain exact vertical distances and facilitate smooth movement.
This solution ensures stable and precise translational-rotational movement by allowing for easy adjustment of the guide element, compensating for height tolerances and preventing the lowering of support plates, thus maintaining desired component distances and enhancing appliance stability.

Abstract
Description
[0001] Furniture or household appliance element
[0002] The present invention relates to a furniture or household appliance element according to the preamble of claim 1 or according to the preamble of claim 2.
[0003] Such furniture or household appliance elements such as shelves or racks, in which a body part is mounted in a support body so that it can move both rotationally and translationally, are known, for example, from DE 10 2019 109 866 A1.
[0004] A translational-rotational bearing is used to carry out the translational-rotational movement of the body part.
[0005] Particularly in the case of larger and / or higher furniture or household appliance elements, such as refrigerators and freezers or wine coolers, it is necessary for stability reasons to additionally support the movement of the translationally and rotationally movable body part.
[0006] For this purpose, it is known, for example, from DE 10 2019 132 207 A1 to arrange a guide bearing between the cover plates of the support body and the body part, with which the translational-rotational movement is additionally guided.
[0007] Particularly when arranging a cover support plate that covers both the fixed support body and the translationally-rotationally movable body part, it is desirable to precisely define the vertical distance between the cover support plate of the support body and the cover plate of the body part or between the base support plate of the support body and the base plate of the body part in order to keep the desired distances between components of the furniture or household appliance element constant.
[0008] The object of the present invention is to prevent the top support plate or base plate of the body part from sinking during the translational-rotational movement of the body part, particularly when a first and second body part are arranged side by side in a furniture or household appliance element. This object is achieved by a furniture or household appliance element having the features of claims 1 and 2.
[0009] The furniture or household appliance element according to the invention comprises a support body with a base support plate, a cover support plate and optionally at least one side wall, as well as a body part mounted so as to be movable both translationally and rotationally relative to the support body, said body part comprising a base plate, a cover plate and at least one side wall.
[0010] A guide bearing is arranged between the cover support plate and the cover plate and / or between the base support plate and the base plate.
[0011] The guide bearing has at least one guide cam track and a guide element guided in or on the guide cam track, which are arranged on mutually facing surfaces of the cover support plate and the cover plate or the base support plate and the base plate.
[0012] Furthermore, the guide bearing has a linear guide with connecting parts that can be moved relative to one another in a translation direction, one of which is arranged on the cover support plate or the cover plate and the other is mounted on the other of the cover support plate or the cover plate by means of a pivot bearing and / or one connecting part is arranged on the base support plate or the base plate and the other is mounted on the other of the base support plate or the base plate by means of a pivot bearing.
[0013] The guide element is designed as a support element supported on or in the guide cam track, wherein the position of the guide element can be variably adjusted perpendicular to the plane of the cover support plate or the base support plate.
[0014] By providing such a guide element designed as a support element, it is possible in a simple manner to set the vertical distance between the top support plate of the support body and the top plate of the body part or between the bottom support plate of the support body and the bottom plate of the body part to a precisely defined dimension.
[0015] The variable adjustability allows, in particular, the compensation of height tolerances of the furniture or household appliance element. Advantageous embodiments are the subject of the dependent claims.
[0016] According to a preferred embodiment, the guide element has a roller arranged on an axial bearing and capable of rolling on a base of the guide cam track.
[0017] This enables smooth translational-rotational movement of the body part relative to the support body.
[0018] In a preferred development, the axial bearing has an axial bearing holder provided with a threaded bolt, onto which an axial bearing ring can be slipped, to the free end of which, facing away from the threaded bolt, a roller holder is fastened, in which the roller is rotatably mounted.
[0019] This ensures reliable support of the guide element.
[0020] According to an alternative embodiment, the guide element has a ball that can roll on a bottom of the guide cam track and is spring-loaded in a sleeve.
[0021] According to an advantageous further development, this sleeve has an internal thread in which a threaded bolt is rotatably adjustable and thus ensures easy height adjustment.
[0022] According to another alternative design variant, the guide element has a roller that rolls along a side surface of the guide cam track. The roller is attached to an axle that is held in a bushing that is stationary along its longitudinal axis and rotatable about its longitudinal axis. The bushing can be clamped to the guide bearing, thus also allowing easy height adjustment.
[0023] In a preferred further development of this embodiment, a clamping lever is provided for clamping the socket in a clamping position.
[0024] This clamping lever preferably comprises a clamping body with a bushing receptacle that circumferentially surrounds the bush, and a lever arm. The guide bearing here comprises a head piece with two parallel retaining plates with respective recesses in which the bushing is circumferentially guided. The clamping lever is accommodated in a receiving space between the retaining plates. In the clamping position, the clamping body is pressed against a clamping wall of the guide bearing, with a partial surface of the wall forming the bushing receptacle frictionally engaging a partial surface of the outer surface of the bushing.
[0025] According to a further preferred development, the axle has a shoulder for fixing the roller in position on the axle.
[0026] On the side of the shoulder facing away from the roller, a bearing is mounted on the axle. The bearing is typically designed as a support or a ball bearing.
[0027] In a special development, the guide cam track has a running slope for vertical support of the roller.
[0028] According to a further preferred embodiment, the linear guide is formed from a pull-out guide, with a guide rail arranged on the cover support plate or the cover plate and / or on the base support plate or the base plate and at least one guide rail displaceably mounted thereon, wherein the guide element is fixed to a plate-shaped connecting element of the guide bearing.
[0029] The arrangement of the guide element on the connecting element of the guide bearing enables easy assembly.
[0030] The connecting element is preferably fastened to at least one guide rail of the linear guide.
[0031] The guide cam track is preferably connected to the cover plate of the body part and the at least one guide rail of the linear guide is connected to the cover support plate of the support body via the connecting plate.
[0032] According to a further embodiment, the axial bearing or threaded bolt is fixed to the connecting element of the guide bearing. According to an advantageous development, the threaded bolt is fixed in a threaded sleeve arranged on a head piece of the connecting element, so that it can be adjusted axially relative to the threaded bolt.
[0033] According to a further embodiment, the guide element has a roller that can roll on a side surface of the guide cam track, wherein the roller is fastened to an axle that can be clamped in a vertical adjustment in the direction of its longitudinal axis.
[0034] This enables simple and precise adjustment of the guide element in the vertical direction depending on the distance between the connecting element and the guide cam track.
[0035] According to an advantageous further development, the vertical adjustment comprises a bearing housing fastened to the connecting element, an adjustment body which is accommodated in the bearing housing so as to be vertically displaceable and in which the axis of the guide element is fixed, and a locking lever for lockingly fixing the adjustment body relative to the bearing housing.

[0073] In the following description of the figures, terms such as top, bottom, left, right, front, back, etc., refer exclusively to the exemplary representation and position of the furniture element, support body, body part, cover plate, guide bearing, guide cam track, linear guide, guide element, and the like chosen in the respective figures. These terms are not to be understood as limiting; i.e., these references may change due to different working positions or mirror-symmetrical design, etc.
[0074] In Figs. 1 to 4, reference numeral 1 denotes an embodiment variant of a furniture or household appliance element according to the invention. The furniture or household appliance element 1, shown here as a furniture element, comprises a support body 2 and a body part 3 mounted for simultaneous translational and rotational movement.
[0075] For ease of reading, the furniture or household appliance element 1 is referred to below as furniture element 1. A corresponding household appliance element, in particular a refrigerator or freezer element or a wine cooler element, can be constructed analogously to the furniture or household appliance element 1 shown as a furniture element.
[0076] The support body 2 has at least one base support plate 21 and one cover support plate 22, as well as at least one side wall 23 connected to the base support plate 21 and the cover support plate 22. The front side of the support body 2 is closed, for example, by a pivoting door 24.
[0077] The body part 3 has at least one base plate 31 and one cover plate 32, as well as at least one side wall 33 connected to the base plate 31 and the cover plate 32—in the embodiment shown here, two side walls 33. The side walls are covered on the outside by panels 34. The interior of the body part 3 is divided, for example, into several compartments arranged one above the other by several shelves 35 attached to the side walls 33.
[0078] The bottom support plate 21 of the support body 2 extends in its length over the entire surface of the furniture element 1. The same applies to the cover support plate 22, which covers both the upper end of the support body 2 and the upper end of the body part 3, as shown in Figures 1 to 3.
[0079] The support body 2 can alternatively also be designed as a wall mount with a top support plate 22 and a bottom support plate 21, for example, if the furniture or household appliance element 1 is arranged in a corner or niche. Accordingly, a side wall 23 connecting the top support plate 22 and the bottom support plate 21 is not necessary in such a design variant.
[0080] As shown in Figure 4a, a guide bearing 4 is arranged between the cover support plate 22 of the support body 2 and the cover plate 32 of the body part 3. The guide bearing 4 serves to support the translational-rotational movement of the body part 3.
[0081] Such a guide bearing 4 can also be arranged between the base support plate 21 and the base plate 31. Figure 4b shows the furniture element 1 in a view from below with the base support plate 21 and the guide bearing 4 removed.
[0082] Alternatively, a translational-rotational fitting 10, partially shown as an example in Figure 2, can also be arranged between the base support plate 21 and the base plate 31, as is known, for example, from DE 10 2019 109 866 A1.
[0083] The guide bearing 4 has, as shown in Figures 4a to 6, a guide cam track 5 arranged here on the cover plate 32 of the body part 3 and a guide element 8 arranged on a connecting element 6, which is here plate-shaped and is fastened to the cover support plate 22 of the support body 2, which guide element projects into the guide cam track 5.
[0084] It is also conceivable to fasten the guide element 8 directly to the cover support plate 22 of the support body 2.
[0085] Furthermore, the guide bearing 4 has a linear guide 7 with connecting parts that can be moved relative to one another, one of which is arranged on the cover support plate 22 or the cover plate 32 and the other of which is mounted on the other of the cover support plate 22 or the cover plate 32 by means of a pivot bearing 12.
[0086] When the guide bearing 4 is arranged in the base area of the body part 3, one connecting part is arranged on the base support plate 22 or the base plate 32 and the other is mounted on the other of the base support plate 22 or the base plate 32 by means of the pivot bearing 12.
[0087] The guide element 8 or the further embodiment of a guide element 9 explained below is designed as a support element supported on or in the guide cam track 5.
[0088] In addition to supporting the translational-rotational movement of the body part 3, the guide element 8, 9 serves to set the vertical distance between the cover support plate 22 of the support body 2 and the cover plate 32 of the body part 3 or between the bottom support plate 21 of the support body 2 and the bottom plate 31 of the body part 3 in the case of an arrangement of the guide bearing 4 in the bottom area of the body part 3 to a precisely defined dimension.
[0089] The first embodiment of such a guide element 8 shown in Figures 5 to 7 has a roller 81 arranged on an axial bearing and capable of rolling on a base 51 of the guide cam track 5.
[0090] The axial bearing has an axial bearing receptacle 85 provided with a threaded bolt 851, onto which an axial bearing ring 84 can be slipped, to the free end of which, facing away from the threaded bolt 851, here in the form of a pin 854, a roller receptacle 83 is fastened, in which the roller 81 is rotatably mounted. The roller 81 is received, as shown in Figures 6 and 7, via the roller axis 82, which is guided through a central bore 811 of the roller 81, in axle bearings 833 provided for this purpose in legs 831 of the roller receptacle 83, which are connected to one another via a connecting piece 832.
[0091] The roller holder 83 itself is attached to the axial bearing holder 85, preferably rotatably connected to the pin 854 of the axial bearing holder 85.
[0092] The axial bearing or threaded bolt 85 is preferably secured to the connecting element 6 of the guide bearing 4. The axial bearing receptacle 85 is designed as a threaded bolt 851 at an end remote from the pin 854, which is preferably secured in a threaded sleeve 64 arranged on a head piece 63 of the connecting element 6, so as to be axially adjustable relative to the threaded bolt 851.
[0093] To enable a rotational movement about a longitudinal axis of the axial bearing receptacle 85 of the roller receptacle 83, the axial bearing ring 84 is clamped between a collar 852 of the axial bearing receptacle 85 and a connecting piece 832 of the roller receptacle 83 that connects the legs 831 to one another. The axial bearing ring 84 has a receptacle 841 through which a neck piece 853 of the axial bearing receptacle 85 is passed.
[0094] An alternative embodiment of such a guide element is shown in Figures 8 and 9.
[0095] This embodiment of the guide element 9 also has a threaded bolt 91 which, like the threaded bolt 851 of the embodiment described above, is preferably fixed in a threaded sleeve 64 arranged on the head piece 63 of the connecting element 6 so as to be adjustable axially relative to the threaded bolt 91.
[0096] The threaded bolt 91 is screwed into a sleeve 92 with an internal thread 96, at the end of which, spaced from the threaded bolt 91, a ball 93 is received. The ball 93 is received by a collar 95 at the lower end of the sleeve 92, protruding from the sleeve 92 by a predetermined amount. The collar 95 prevents the ball 93 from falling out. Between the front end of the threaded bolt 91 and the ball 93, as shown in Figure 9, a spring element 94 is provided, with which the ball 93 is constantly pressed out of the sleeve 92 against the threaded bolt 91.
[0097] The guide cam track 5 preferably has eyelets 52 on its outer sides for fixing, in particular screwing, the guide cam track 5 to the cover plate 32 or to the base plate 31 of the body part 3.
[0098] Likewise, on the connecting element 6 on a main body 61, to which the guide rails 72 of the linear guide 7 are fastened in the example shown in Figure 5, eyelets 62 are formed on the sides, which serve for fixing, in particular screwing, to the cover support plate 22 or base support plate 21.
[0099] The guide rail 71 of the linear guide 7 is rotatably mounted on a pivot bearing 12.
[0100] The pivot bearing 12 has a pivot pin arranged on a circular mounting plate 11, which is attached to the cover plate 32 or base plate 31 of the body part 3. The circular shape serves to distribute forces over the largest possible area. Other designs are also conceivable.
[0101] The rotational axis of the pivot bearing 12 is mounted in a pivotal axis bearing (not shown) provided for this purpose on the underside of the guide rail 71 of the linear guide 7 in order to enable the translational rotational movement of the body part 3 relative to the support body 2.
[0102] The rotary axis can also be mounted in the rotary axis bearing in an axially adjustable or telescopic manner. This ensures that the entire guide bearing 4 is evenly supported.
[0103] Figures 10 to 18 show two further preferred embodiments of guide elements 180, 190, in which the guide element 180, 190 has a roller 181, 191 that can roll on a side surface 53 of the guide cam track 5. The roller 181, 191 is here fastened to an axis 182, 192 extending in the z-direction, preferably at one end of the axis 182, 192. In order to enable a free rotational movement of the roller 181, 191 about the longitudinal axis of the axis 182, 192, the axis 182, 192 is held stationary in the direction of its longitudinal axis and rotatable about its longitudinal axis in a bushing 184, 194 enclosing the latter in the region of an upper section remote from the roller, for example by means of a disk 186, 196 attached to the upper end of the axis 182, 192 and resting on an end edge of the bushing 184, 194, as shown in Figures 10, 11 and 17.
[0104] The bushing 184, 194 itself can be clamped to the guide bearing 4. For clamping the bushing 184, 194, a clamping lever 13 is preferably provided, which fixes the bushing 184, 194 in a clamped position.
[0105] This clamping lever 13 preferably has, as shown in Figures 12 and 18, a clamping body 131 with a bushing receptacle 133 circumferentially enclosing the bushing 184, 194 and a lever arm 132.
[0106] The guide bearing 4, here preferably a part of a connecting element 160, similar to the connecting element 6 of the guide bearing 4 described above, has a head piece 163 arranged on a main body 161 of the connecting element 160 with two holding plates 164 aligned parallel to one another with respective preferably circular recesses 166 in which the bushing 184, 194 is received in a circumferentially guided manner.
[0107] The clamping lever 13 is accommodated in a receiving space 165 between the holding plates 164.
[0108] In the clamping position of the clamping lever 13 shown in Figures 11 and 14 to 17, the clamping body 131 is pressed against a clamping wall 167 of the guide bearing 4. Due to an eccentric arrangement of the bushing receptacle 133 relative to the outer surface of the clamping body 131, the clamping body 131 is displaced in the horizontal plane such that the bushing receptacle 133 is no longer aligned coaxially with the recesses 166 of the holding plates 164 and as a result a partial surface of the wall forming the bushing receptacle 133 bears frictionally against a partial surface of the outer surface of the bushing 184, 194 and the bushing 184, 194 and thus the roller 181, 191 fixed in the z-direction in the bushing 184, 194 is fixed in the z-direction.
[0109] In order to change the positioning of the roller 181, 191 in the z-direction, the clamping lever 13 can be rotated by actuating the lever arm so that the bushing receptacle 133 is aligned coaxially with the recesses 166 of the holding plates 164 and thereby the frictional engagement between the wall forming the bushing receptacle 133 and the partial surface of the outer surface of the bushing 184, 194 is eliminated.
[0110] The axis 182, 192 preferably has a shoulder 183, 193 for fixing the roller 181, 191 in position.
[0111] On the side of the shoulder 183, 193 facing away from the roller 181, 191, a bearing 185, 195 is mounted on the axis 182, 192.
[0112] In the embodiment shown in Figures 10 to 16, this bearing is designed as a support which is supported on the upper edges of the control cam 5 in the z-direction.
[0113] In the alternative embodiment shown in Figures 17 and 18, this bearing is designed as a ball bearing. In this embodiment, the outer surface of the roller is preferably formed with a bevel that rests on a corresponding running slope 54 of the control cam 5 in the vertical, i.e., z-direction, so that the roller 191 is supported on the running slope 54 in the z-direction.
[0114] Figures 19-26 show a preferred embodiment of a vertical adjustment 210 for a guide element 290 similar to the guide element 190.
[0115] Here, too, the guide element 290 has a roller 291 which can roll on a side surface 53 of the guide cam track 5 and which is fastened to an axis 292 extending in the z-direction, preferably at one end of the axis 292.
[0116] The axle 292 also preferably has a first shoulder 293 for fixing the roller 291 in position at or near a first end of the axle 291. Above or on the side of the shoulder 293 facing away from the roller 291, a bearing 295 is also mounted on the axle 292. The bearing 295 itself is also preferably designed as a ball bearing.
[0117] In order to be able to variably adapt the guide element 290 in the z-direction to a distance between the main body 261 of the connecting element 260 and the guide cam track 5, the axis 292 with the roller 291 rotatably fixed thereto and the bearing 295 rotatably fixed to the axis 292 is variably held in the vertical adjustment 210 in the z-direction.
[0118] For this purpose, as shown in Figure 20, the vertical adjustment 210 has a bearing housing 220 attached to the connecting element 260. The bearing housing 220 is preferably fixed with screws 266 in the region of the head piece 263 of the connecting element 260. For this purpose, screw receptacles 264 are provided in the head piece 263 of the connecting element 260, into which the preferably conically shaped heads of the screws 266 can be countersunk.
[0119] The bearing housing 220 has a preferably approximately cuboid-shaped adjusting body receptacle 221 for receiving an adjusting body 230.
[0120] The adjustment body 230 has a holding body 231 for supporting the axis 292 of the guide element 290. For fixation in the z-direction, as can be seen in Figure 20, a second shoulder 296 is arranged on the axis 292 above the first shoulder 293, which, as can be seen in Figures 21 to 24, prevents the axis 292 from slipping through a bore in the bottom of the holding body 231 in the direction of the guide cam track 5.
[0121] As can be further seen in Figures 21 to 24, an upper side of the bearing 295 facing away from the roller 291 rests against an underside of the holding body 231.
[0122] The adjusting body 230 is spring-loaded in the z-direction and accommodated in the bearing housing 220.
[0123] For this purpose, as shown in Figures 20 to 24, a spring element 294, designed here as a helical compression spring, is slipped over the axis 292 of the guide element 290.
[0124] A lower end of the spring element 294 rests on the bottom of the holding body 231. An upper end of the spring element 294 rests on a cover 250, which rests positively in a recess provided for this purpose in the bearing housing 220 and (in Figures 21 to 24) bears upwardly against an underside of the head piece 263 of the connecting element 260. To guide the axle 292 of the connecting element 260, the cover 250 has an axle receptacle 251, through which an upper end of the axle 292, remote from the roller 291, is received.
[0125] Preferably, an axle receptacle 265, designed here as a bore, is also provided in the head piece 263 of the connecting element 260, into which a neck of the axle receptacle 251 of the cover 250 projects into the axle receptacle 265.
[0126] To adjust the position of the connecting element 260 in the z-direction, the adjusting body 230 has a toothing 232 which is preferably formed integrally with the holding body 231 and which engages with a toothing 243 of a locking lever 240 when the guide element 290 or adjusting body 230 is fixed in the z-direction.
[0127] The locking lever 240 of this embodiment variant essentially consists of a bearing pin 241 and a lever arm 242 projecting radially from the bearing pin 241 as well as the toothing 243 which is formed on an angular segment of the bearing pin 241, as shown for example in Figure 21.
[0128] The bearing pin 241 serves to fix the locking lever 240 so that it can rotate about the z-axis, on the one hand in a bearing pin receptacle 252 of the cover 250 provided for this purpose and on the other hand in the bearing pin receptacle 223 of the bearing housing 220 provided for this purpose.
[0129] The locking lever 240 can thus be rotated by rotating the locking lever 240 with the aid of the lever arm 242 from a release position releasing the adjusting body 230 in the z-direction, as shown by way of example in Figure 21, into a fixing position shown in Figures 22 to 24, wherein in the fixing position the toothing 232 of the adjusting body 230 engages in the toothing 243 of the locking lever 240 and thus prevents a displacement of the adjusting body 230 and thus of the guide element 290.
[0130] While Figure 22 shows a middle position of the adjusting body 230 relative to the bearing housing 220, Figure 23 shows a maximum downwardly displaced position of the adjusting body 230 relative to the bearing housing 220. This maximum position is defined by a radially outwardly projecting web 233 on the upper edge of the holding body 231, wherein this web 233 rests on a shoulder provided for this purpose on the bottom or near a bottom of the bearing housing 220 when the adjusting body 230 is in the maximum downwardly displaced position.
[0131] Figure 24 shows a maximum upwardly displaced position of the adjusting body 230 relative to the bearing housing 220.
[0132] This maximum position is defined by stops of the upper end of the holding body 231 on an underside of the cover 250.
[0133] Figure 25 shows once again the guide element 290 accommodated in the vertical adjustment 210 in the fixing position of the locking lever 240 as an individual isometric view.
[0134] Figure 26 shows the guide element 290 accommodated in the vertical adjustment 210 with locking lever 240 in the open position, in which the adjustment body 230 can be moved together with the guide element 290 in the z-direction.
[0135] As further illustrated in Figure 26, a raised portion 253 is formed on a surface of the cover 250 facing the locking lever 240, which serves to secure the locking lever 240 in the locking position. The raised portion is positioned such that the lever arm 242 cannot be moved out of its locking position shown in Figure 25 without the application of force.
