Description

[0001] Household appliance and household appliance arrangement

[0002] The present invention relates to a household appliance and a household appliance arrangement comprising such a household appliance.

[0003] A household appliance, for example a household dishwasher, can be built into a piece of furniture, in particular a piece of kitchen furniture. Such a piece of furniture can comprise a furniture panel coupled to a door of the household appliance. The furniture panel conceals the door of the household appliance. To prevent the furniture panel from colliding with a skirting board or the like arranged beneath the furniture panel when the door is opened, the furniture panel must move linearly upwards along the door, away from the skirting board, when the door of the household appliance is opened.

[0004] CN 112535446 A describes a lifting device for raising a cabinet panel for a built-in dishwasher. When a door of the built-in dishwasher is opened, the lifting device moves the cabinet panel linearly along the door, so that the cabinet panel is raised when the door is opened.

[0005] Against this background, one object of the present invention is to provide an improved household appliance.

[0006] Accordingly, a household appliance is proposed comprising a receiving container, a door pivotably mounted on the receiving container, and a lifting device. The lifting device is configured to linearly move a furniture panel attachable to the door along the door during a pivoting movement of the door. The lifting device comprises a toothed element fixed relative to the receiving container, a lifting element having a toothing that can be coupled to the furniture panel, a planetary gear that engages the toothed element, and a gear that is operatively connected to the planetary gear and engages the toothing, in order to convert the pivoting movement of the door into a linear movement of the lifting element along the door.Due to the fact that the lifting device is provided, it is possible to lift the furniture leaf during the pivoting movement of the door with the aid of the lifting element in order to prevent a collision of the furniture leaf with a skirting board of the household appliance arranged below the furniture leaf, or with a further, second door of the household appliance which is arranged lower than the first door and whose furniture leaf can be lifted during its pivoting movement by means of the lifting device, or with a piece of furniture or furniture part which is arranged below the household appliance, or with a further door of a piece of furniture which is preferably arranged below the household appliance. If, for example, the household appliance is installed above the floor of a kitchen in a piece of kitchen furniture such asIf a kitchen cupboard or wall cupboard is installed high, the lifting device ensures that the furniture leaf is lifted with the help of the lifting element when the door is pivoted, so that a collision of the furniture leaf with the lower front edge of the kitchen cabinet in which the household appliance is installed or with another furniture part such as the upper front edge or the door of a kitchen cupboard that is arranged below the household appliance is excluded.

[0007] The household appliance can be, for example, a household dishwasher, a household stove, a household oven, a household microwave, a household refrigerator, a household washing machine, a household dryer, or the like. However, the household appliance is particularly preferably a household dishwasher. The terms "household appliance" and "household dishwasher" are therefore interchangeable. The household appliance can, in particular, be a so-called compact household appliance. This can preferably be used as a stand-alone or tabletop appliance or as a built-in appliance for installation in a kitchen unit.

[0008] The receptacle can be a washing container for holding wash items. However, the receptacle can also be an oven muffle or the like. However, it is assumed below that the receptacle is a washing container. With the help of the door, the receptacle can be closed, in particular in a watertight manner. The receptacle is preferably cuboid-shaped and comprises a loading opening, preferably on the front, which can be closed with the help of the door, preferably a front door. The door can be moved from a closed state to an open state and vice versa. The furniture panel is preferably slidably mounted on the door. The lifting element can in particular be fixedly connected to the furniture panel, so that a linear movement of the lifting element, which is generated by the lifting device, is transferred to the furniture panel. When the door pivots (starting from its closed position) or when the door is moved from the closed state to the open state, the lifting element and thus also the furniture leaf moves linearly along the door in order to lift the furniture leaf.

[0009] In particular, the door is designed as a front door which can be pivoted forwards and downwards from its upright, in particular approximately vertical, closed position about a lower pivot axis extending horizontally in the transverse direction of the household appliance into an approximately horizontal open end position. This front door has a lower end and an opposite upper end when viewed in its upright closed position. When this front door is pivoted open, the furniture panel is moved or raised from its predetermined starting position, which it assumes when the front door is closed, away from the lower end of the front door upwards towards its upper end. When this front door is pivoted or closed, the furniture panel is moved or lowered back downwards towards its lower end into its predetermined starting position.

[0010] The toothed element can be a toothed plate or the like. The toothed element can be attached, for example, to the receptacle or to a base support of the household appliance carrying the receptacle. The lifting element is preferably plate-shaped or sheet-shaped. In particular, the lifting element has a first section and a second section arranged perpendicular to the first section. The toothing can be provided on the first section. The second section can be connected to the furniture panel. The first section and the second section are preferably oriented perpendicular to one another. The toothing of the toothed element preferably runs along a straight line. The toothing is, in particular, in the form of a toothed rack. Therefore, the toothing can also be referred to as a toothed rack. The lifting device can also be referred to as a displacement device.During the pivoting movement of the door, the planetary gear preferably moves along an arcuate, in particular circular, path relative to the toothed element. The planetary gear thus moves relative to the toothed element. The gear is preferably connected to the planetary gear in such a way that a rotational movement of the planetary gear is converted into a rotational movement of the gear. The rotational movement of the gear, in turn, leads to a linear movement of the lifting element. In other words, the lifting device converts the pivoting or rotational movement of the door into the linear movement of the lifting element and thus into the linear movement of the furniture panel coupled to the lifting element.

[0011] According to one embodiment, the tooth element is curved in an arc shape.

[0012] In particular, the toothed element is curved in the shape of a circular arc or as a circular arc segment. The toothed element has a toothing into which the planetary gear engages. The planetary gear accordingly has a mating toothing corresponding to the toothing of the toothed element. The toothed element can also be referred to as a toothed plate. The toothing of the toothed element is located, in particular, on a circular arc segment. For example, the toothing can extend over an angle of 90°.

[0013] According to a further embodiment, the gear is connected to the planetary gear in a rotationally fixed manner by means of a common axis.

[0014] In this case, "rotationally fixed" means, in particular, that neither the gear nor the planetary gear can rotate relative to their common axis. A torque applied to the planetary gear is thus transmitted directly to the gear.

[0015] According to a further embodiment, the household appliance further comprises a pivoting element that can be pivoted together with the door about a pivot axis, wherein the axis is rotatably mounted on the pivoting element. In particular, the pivoting element is the pivot lever of the door.

[0016] The pivoting element is, in particular, part of the lifting device. The common axis of the planetary gear and the gear is rotatably mounted on the pivoting element, in particular by means of a suitable bearing. The bearing can comprise a plain bearing or a rolling bearing.

[0017] According to a further embodiment, the common axis of the planetary gear and the gear is offset with respect to the pivot axis of the door.

[0018] In particular, the common axis of the planetary gear and the gearwheel is positioned upwardly relative to the pivot axis of the door. The common axis of the gearwheel and the planetary gear therefore preferably does not coincide with the pivot axis about which the door pivots.

[0019] According to a further embodiment, the household appliance further comprises a first guide element which is mounted on the pivoting element, and a second guide element which is mounted on the pivoting element, wherein the lifting element is guided in a linearly movable manner on the first guide element and on the second guide element.

[0020] The first guide element and the second guide element are specifically part of the lifting mechanism. The guide elements ensure that the lifting element moves only linearly and does not twist during the door's pivoting movement.

[0021] According to a further embodiment, the lifting element has a guide groove in which the second guide element is received.

[0022] The second guide element is mounted on the guide groove. The lifting element, in particular with its aforementioned first section, is mounted on the first guide element for linear movement. Accordingly, the guide groove is provided in particular on the first section.

[0023] According to a further embodiment, the gear has a larger outer diameter than the planetary gear.

[0024] The gear has a mating toothing that meshes with the toothing of the lifting element. In particular, the mating toothing of the gear has more teeth than the mating toothing of the planetary gear. By appropriately selecting the gear and planetary gear, a desired gear ratio can be achieved.

[0025] According to a further embodiment, the lifting element has an opening on which the toothing is provided, wherein the gear wheel is arranged within the opening.

[0026] The opening is preferably rectangular. "Rectangular" in this case does not exclude the possibility of rounded corners of the rectangular geometry. The opening completely penetrates the lifting element. The lifting element accommodates the gearwheel via the opening. The gearwheel is preferably guided at least partially through the opening.

[0027] Furthermore, a household appliance arrangement is proposed comprising such a household appliance and a furniture leaf which is attached to the door, wherein the lifting element is coupled to the furniture leaf in order to convert the pivoting movement of the door into a linear movement of the furniture leaf along the door.

[0028] The household appliance arrangement comprises, in particular, the aforementioned piece of furniture, to which the furniture panel is assigned. The household appliance is, in particular, accommodated in the furniture. The household appliance is thus a built-in household appliance. A baseboard of the furniture, another door, or another part of the furniture can be provided below the furniture panel. During the pivoting movement of the door, the furniture panel is moved away from the baseboard, door, or other part of the furniture by means of the linear movement along the door of the household appliance, in order to reliably prevent a collision of the furniture panel with the baseboard, door, or other part of the furniture.

[0029] Further possible implementations of the household appliance and / or the household appliance arrangement also include combinations of features or embodiments described previously or below with regard to the exemplary embodiments that are not explicitly mentioned. In this case, a person skilled in the art will also add individual aspects as improvements or additions to the respective basic form of the household appliance and / or the household appliance arrangement. Further advantageous configurations and aspects of the household appliance and / or the household appliance arrangement are the subject of the dependent claims and the exemplary embodiments of the household appliance and / or the household appliance arrangement described below. The household appliance and / or the household appliance arrangement are explained in more detail below using preferred embodiments with reference to the attached figures.

[0050] In the figures, identical or functionally equivalent elements have been given the same reference numerals unless otherwise stated.

[0051] Fig. 1 shows a schematic perspective view of an embodiment of a household appliance 1. The household appliance 1 can be, for example, a household dishwasher, a household stove, a household oven, a household microwave, a household refrigerator, a household washing machine, a household dryer, or the like. However, it is assumed below that the household appliance 1 is a household dishwasher. The terms "household appliance" and "household dishwasher" are therefore interchangeable.

[0052] The household appliance 1 comprises a receptacle 2, which can be closed, in particular watertight, by a (front) door 3. The receptacle 2 can be a washing container for holding wash ware. Therefore, the receptacle 2 can also be referred to as a washing container. For watertight closure of the receptacle 2, a sealing device can be provided between the door 3 and the receptacle 2. The receptacle 2 is preferably cuboid-shaped. The receptacle 2 can be arranged in a housing of the household appliance 1. The receptacle 2 and the door 3 can form a washing chamber 4 for washing wash ware.

[0053] The door 3 is shown in its open position in Fig. 1. The door 3 can be closed or opened by pivoting about a pivot axis 5 provided at a lower end of the door 3. With the help of the door 3, a loading opening 6 of the receiving container 2 can be closed or opened. The receiving container 2 has a base 7, a ceiling 8 arranged opposite the base 7, a rear wall 9 arranged opposite the closed (front) door 3 and two side walls 10, 11 arranged opposite one another. The base 7, the ceiling 8, the rear wall 9 and the side walls 10, 11 can be made, for example, from a stainless steel sheet. Alternatively, the base 7 can be made, for example, from a plastic material.

[0054] The household appliance 1 further comprises at least one dishware receptacle 12 to 14. Preferably, several, for example three, dishware receptacles 12 to 14 can be provided, wherein the dishware receptacle 12 can be a lower dishware receptacle or a lower basket, the dishware receptacle 13 can be an upper dishware receptacle or an upper basket, and the dishware receptacle 14 can be a cutlery drawer.

[0055] As Fig. 1 further shows, the dishware receptacles 12 to 14 are arranged one above the other in the receptacle 2. Each dishware receptacle 12 to 14 can be selectively moved into or out of the receptacle 2. In particular, each dishware receptacle 12 to 14 can be pushed or moved into the receptacle 2 in an insertion direction E and pulled or pulled out of the receptacle 2 in a pull-out direction A, opposite to the insertion direction E. The door 3 has an upper edge 15 and a lower edge 16. The pivot axis 5 is provided on the lower edge 16.

[0056] Fig. 2 shows a schematic perspective view of an embodiment of a household appliance arrangement 17A. The household appliance arrangement 17A comprises a household appliance 1 (not shown) as mentioned above, which is built into a piece of furniture 18. The piece of furniture 18 accommodates the household appliance 1. The piece of furniture 18 can be a piece of kitchen furniture. The piece of furniture 18 comprises a furniture panel 19 which is coupled to the door 3. In the orientation of Fig. 2, a skirting board 20 is provided below the furniture panel 19. When the door 3 is opened, the furniture panel 19 pivots together with the door 3. A collision of the furniture panel 19 with the skirting board 20 must be prevented.

[0057] Fig. 3 shows a schematic perspective view of another embodiment of a household appliance arrangement 17B. The household appliance arrangement 17B comprises a household appliance 1 as mentioned above, which is installed in a piece of furniture 18. The household appliance arrangement 17B differs from the household appliance arrangement 17A in that the household appliance 1 is a compact household appliance. The piece of furniture 18 accommodates the household appliance 1. The piece of furniture 18 comprises a furniture panel 19 as mentioned above, which is coupled to the door 3. In the orientation of Fig. 3, there is no baseboard 20 provided below the furniture panel 19, but rather a door 21. When the door 3 is opened, the furniture panel 19 pivots together with the door 3. A collision of the furniture panel 19 with the door 21 must be prevented.

[0058] Figs. 4 to 19 each show a schematic perspective detailed view of the household appliance 1. In the following, reference is made simultaneously to Figs. 4 to 19.

[0059] The household appliance 1 comprises a base support 22 that supports the receptacle 2. The base support 22 can be a plastic component, in particular an injection-molded plastic component. An arcuately curved receiving section 23 is provided on the base support 22.

[0060] To prevent a collision of the furniture panel 19 coupled to the door 3 with the baseboard 20 or the door 21 of the furniture 18 when the door 3 is opened, the household appliance 1 has a lifting device 24 (Fig. 14) for lifting the furniture panel 19. The lifting device 24 is accommodated at least in sections in the receiving section 23. The lifting device 24 can also be referred to as a displacement device.

[0061] The household appliance 1 is assigned a coordinate system with a width direction or x-direction x, a height direction or y-direction y, and a depth direction or z-direction z. The directions x, y, z are oriented perpendicular to one another. The lifting device 24 is configured to lift the furniture panel 19 upwards, as viewed along the y-direction y, from the baseboard 20 or the door 21 of the piece of furniture 18. A distance or gap is always provided between the furniture panel 19 and the baseboard 20 or the door 21, as viewed along the y-direction y.

[0062] As shown in Fig. 4, the lifting device 24 comprises a main axis 25 that is firmly connected to the base support 22. The main axis 25 can be a bolt or the like. The main axis 25 runs parallel to the x-direction x. The pivot axis 5 can run through the main axis 25. This means that the pivot axis 5 and the main axis 25 can be identical.

[0063] As shown in Fig. 5, the lifting device 24 has a toothed element 26, which is also firmly connected to the base support 22. The toothed element 26 has a circular arc-shaped toothing. The toothed element 26 functions as the sun gear of the lifting device 24. The main axle 25 extends through the toothed element 26.

[0064] Furthermore, the lifting device 24 is assigned a planetary gear 27, shown in Fig. 6, which meshes with the toothed element 26. The planetary gear 27 can be rotated relative to the toothed element 26, so that the planetary gear 27 rotates when it is moved relative to the toothed element 26. In doing so, the planetary gear 27 performs a circular arc-shaped movement that follows the arc-shaped geometry of the toothed element 26.

[0065] As shown in Fig. 7, the planetary gear 27 is assigned an axis 28 which is fixedly connected to the planetary gear 27. The axis 28 runs parallel to the main axis 25 and thus parallel to the x-direction x.

[0066] The planetary gear 27 is covered by a cover plate 29, shown in Fig. 8. The cover plate 29 can be a steel sheet or the like. The axle 28 extends through the cover plate 29.

[0067] Furthermore, another plate 30 is provided, which is shown in Fig. 9. The axis 28 also passes through the plate 30.

[0068] A pivoting element 31 of the lifting device 24, shown in Fig. 10, is mounted on the base support 22 so as to be pivotable about the main axis 25. The pivoting element 31 can be pivoted about the main axis 25 within the receiving section 23. The pivoting element 31 is coupled to the door 3. It is preferably a pivoting lever. As Fig. 11 shows, the lifting device 24 has a gear 32. The gear 32 is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the planetary gear 27 by means of the axle 28. This means that the gear 32 rotates with the planetary gear 27 when it rotates.

[0069] A first guide element 33 is mounted on the pivot element 31, as shown in Fig. 12. As shown in Fig. 13, the lifting device 24 further comprises a second guide element 34, which is also mounted on the pivot element 31.

[0070] The lifting device 24 further comprises a lifting element 35, shown in Fig. 14. The lifting element 35 has a first section 36 and a second section 37 arranged perpendicular to the first section 36. The first section 36 comprises a guide groove 38 in which the second guide element 34 is guided. The first section 36 is also guided on the first guide element 33. The first section 36 has a recess or opening 39 in which the gear 32 is received. A straight toothed rack or toothing 40 is provided on the opening 39, into which the gear 32 engages. The second section 37 is connected to the furniture panel 19.

[0071] As shown in Fig. 15, the lifting device 24 has a column element 41. The column element 41 can perform a damping function.

[0072] Fig. 16 shows an alternative embodiment of the lifting element 35. The lifting element 35 according to Fig. 16 differs from the lifting element 35 according to Figs. 14 and 15 only in that the second section 37 is bent to the left rather than to the right in the orientation of Fig. 16.

[0073] The lifting device 24 is further associated with a coupling element 42 shown in Fig. 17. The lifting device 24 further comprises a cover 43 shown in Figs. 18 and 19, which covers the lifting device 24.

[0074] The functionality of the lifting device 24 is explained below with reference to Figs. 20 to 22, which show detailed views of the household appliance arrangement 17B. The following explanations regarding the household appliance arrangement 17B are correspondingly applicable to the household appliance arrangement 17A. Fig. 20 shows the door 3 in a closed state Z1. Fig. 22 shows the door 3 in a fully open state Z2. Fig. 21 shows the door 3 in an intermediate state Z3 provided between the closed state Z1 and the open state Z2. The number of intermediate states Z3 between the states Z1, Z2 is arbitrary.

[0075] When the door 3 is opened, i.e., when the door 3 is moved from the closed state Z1 to the open state Z2, the pivoting element 31 is pivoted about the main axis 25. The planetary gear 27, which is rotatably mounted on the pivoting element 31 by means of the axis 28, is thereby moved relative to the toothed element 26, causing the planetary gear 27 and thus also the gear 32, which is non-rotatably coupled to the planetary gear 27 by means of the axis 28, to rotate.

[0076] Since the gear wheel 32 is in engagement with the toothing 40 of the lifting element 35, the lifting element 35 is moved along the door 3 away from the door 21 of the furniture 18.

[0077] Since the lifting element 35 is coupled to the furniture panel 19, the furniture panel 19 moves away from the door 3, so that when the door 3 is opened, a collision of the furniture panel 19 with the door 21 below the door 3 of the household appliance 1 is prevented. When the door 3 is moved from the open state Z2 to the closed state Z1, a reverse movement sequence occurs.

[0078] Although the present invention has been described using exemplary embodiments, it can be modified in many ways.
