Description

[0001] TACHOMETER ARRANGEMENT FOR AN ENGINE-MOUNTED BRAKE, ENGINE-MOUNTED BRAKE, AND DRIVE ARRANGEMENT TECHNICAL FIELD The present disclosure relates generally and in particular to tachometer assemblies for an engine-mounted brake, and to an engine-mounted brake and a drive arrangement. TECHNICAL BACKGROUND Tachometers that can be attached to engine-mounted brakes are generally known. These enable quick and easy braking of externally and internally ventilated motors, such as those found, for example, in traveling gear, trolley gear, and hoist gear on crane systems. The particularly compact engine-mounted brakes are used particularly in harsh environmental conditions, since the functional elements of the actual brake can be effectively shielded from environmental influences by a cover. Due to their compact design, they are also suitable for use in installation situations where space is particularly limited. Tachometer assemblies (tachometers orSpeed measuring devices (RPM measuring devices) are used to monitor operating criteria of the drives controlled by the motor-mounted brake and the motor-mounted brake itself. Figure 3 shows a state-of-the-art tachometer arrangement. The actual tachometer 100 is connected to a housing component 120 of the actual motor-mounted brake 140 via an adapter arrangement 110. Internally, the coupling is achieved via a driver arrangement, which is coupled to the tachometer cable within the adapter arrangement 110. In this way, a secure coupling of the tachometer 100 with the drive 150 of the motor-mounted brake 140 is ensured, but the tachometer arrangement or the tachometer 100 itself protrudes far from the actual motor-mounted brake 140 and several adapter components are required both externally and internally in order to couple the tachometer 100 with the drive 150 of the motor-mounted brake 140.Such an arrangement is complex to install, requires a relatively large installation space, and must be centered and aligned with the fixed and movable active elements of the engine-mounted brake 140. Typical tachometers are connected to the housing component of the engine-mounted brake by an input shaft. For this purpose, the input shaft has fastening devices at its end facing away from the base plate and the electric motor, to which another shaft, such as a motor shaft, can be attached. The opening through which another shaft, such as a motor shaft, can be attached. In terms of measuring principle, most tachometers are actually tachometers. However, optical or capacitive sensors can be unreliable under harsh conditions, particularly in the presence of condensation or dust. The task is to provide an improved tachometer arrangement for an engine-mounted brake.According to a first aspect, the present disclosure provides a tachometer assembly for a motor-mounted brake. This comprises a stator component that can be coupled during operation to a housing component of the motor-mounted brake, a rotor component that can be coupled to a motor shaft passing through the motor-mounted brake, wherein the stator component comprises a stator body having a base flange and a connecting flange, the base flange having a housing-side centering collar on its outer circumference, the connecting flange adjoins the base flange in an axially offset manner and forms an inner wall on its inner circumference, which, together with an outer surface of the base flange, forms a receiving space for the rotor component, and the receiving space is sealed off from the outside environment by a cover that can be fixed to the connecting flange.Further aspects and features emerge from the dependent claims, the attached drawings and the following description of embodiments. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS Embodiments will now be described by way of example and with reference to the attached drawings. Figure 1 shows a perspective view from the outside of an engine-mounted brake on a drive with a tachometer arrangement according to the invention; Figure 2 shows a longitudinal sectional view of the arrangement shown in Figure 1 and Figure 3 shows a perspective view of an engine-mounted brake with a known tachometer arrangement. DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS Before a detailed description of the embodiment with reference to Figure 1, general explanations of the embodiments follow. The tachometer assembly according to the invention enables a particularly compact and easy-to-install design, which can be arranged largely or completely within the outer contour of the motor-mounted brake. This requires practically no additional installation space, and there is also no risk of the tachometer assembly being damaged during operation (hitting, shearing off, etc.). Due to the compact, flat design, the tachometer assembly can also be easily replaced or retrofitted to existing motor-mounted brakes. There is a design in which the rotor component can be coupled to the motor shaft via a driver, which protrudes from the tachometer assembly through a driver opening formed in the base flange and, when the tachometer assembly is arranged on the housing component, extends into an interior of the housing component and can be coupled there to the motor-mounted brake. With such a design, all components required for the operation of the tachometer assembly orrequired to connect the tachometer assembly to the motor-mounted brake are optimally protected in the housing component of the motor-mounted brake itself. There are designs in which the cover and the stator component can be coupled to the housing component using common fastening elements. In this way, existing connection holes (e.g. threaded holes in the housing component) can be used to couple the tachometer assembly itself to the housing component of the motor-mounted brake via the stator component, and at the same time to shield the entire tachometer assembly or its interior from the outside environment by means of the fixable cover. There are designs in which sealing arrangements between the stator component and cover and between the stator component and housing component create a fluid-tight seal between both the receiving space and the interior of the housing component, in which the actual motor-mounted brake is arranged, from the outside environment. This reliably seals both the speedometer assembly itself and the key elements of the motor-mounted brake against environmental influences. There are designs in which the cover is made of an electrically insulating material, so that the key speedometer components are also effectively shielded against external electrical influences. There are designs in which the rotor component can be coupled to the driver via an element that protrudes into the receiving space. This makes it possible to adapt a speedometer assembly to different designs and sizes of the motor-mounted brake by appropriately designing this driver. Adapting the elements of the actual motor-mounted brake is not necessary. There are designs in which the speedometer assembly serves as an electronic monitoring device that outputs a signal that corresponds to an operating criterion. This not only allows the actual speed to be recorded and monitored, but it is also possible, for example, to draw conclusions about the maintenance status of the drive unit and / or the engine-mounted brake based on changes in speed under certain operating conditions. For example, signs of wear on the brake discs or brake pads or unusual operating characteristics of the drive can be monitored and detected. There are designs in which the receiving space is completely recessed within the housing component. In such a design, the speedometer arrangement disappears completely within the contour of the housing component of the engine-mounted brake. No additional installation space is required. A further aspect of the invention relates to an engine-mounted brake with a housing component designed to accommodate a speedometer arrangement according to the invention. There are designs in which the housing component of the motor-mounted brake is provided with a connection opening corresponding to the centering collar of the stator component. This makes it particularly easy to arrange and fix the tachometer assembly centered in the housing component and thus also to the concentrically acting, movable elements of the motor-mounted brake. A further aspect relates to a drive assembly with a motor-mounted brake according to the invention and a drive unit coupled to the motor-mounted brake, e.g., an electric drive unit or an electric motor. Returning to Figure 1, this illustrates an embodiment of a tachometer assembly 1 or a motor-mounted brake 40 or a drive assembly 50 according to the present invention. A drive assembly 50, stylized as a cylinder, is provided with a motor-mounted brake 40.The motor-mounted brake comprises a housing component 42, which carries a tachometer arrangement 1 according to the invention on its end face. Signals from the tachometer arrangement, e.g., to a control unit, can be transmitted via a supply line 3. The further structure and function of the tachometer arrangement 1 can be seen in Figure 2. The tachometer arrangement 1 comprises a stator component 5 and a movable rotor component 7, which is non-rotatably coupled to a hub 43 of the motor-mounted brake 40 via a driver 9. The hub 43 is in turn non-rotatably coupled to a drive shaft 51 of the drive arrangement 50. The stator component 5 comprises a stator body 11, which has a base flange 13 and a connecting flange 15. The outer circumference of the base flange 13 is designed as a cylindrical centering collar 17. The connecting flange 15 is axially offset and projects radially outwards beyond the centering collar 17.A cylindrical inner wall 19, together with an outer surface 21 of the base flange 13, forms a receiving space 23 (cylindrical) in which the rotor component 7 is arranged. The centering collar 17 is arranged coaxially to a central axis of rotation 25 in a corresponding connection opening 45 of the housing component 42 and is thus also centered to the hub 43 or the drive shaft 101, which also run coaxially to the central axis of rotation 25. The stator body 11 is connected to the housing component 42 via fastening elements 27 with corresponding threaded holes 47 in the latter. The fastening elements 27 are designed as screws here. The fastening elements 27 also engage a cover 29, which closes the receiving space 23 to the outside. For reliable sealing, seals 30 and 31 are provided between the cover 29 and the connecting flange 15 on the one hand, and between the connecting flange 15 and the fastening area 49 surrounding the connection opening 45. The receiving space 23 and the housing component 42 are thus reliably sealed off from the environment. In addition, the housing component 42 can be provided with closable maintenance and adjustment openings 44. The driver 9 is coupled to the hub 43 at its brake-side end and passes through a through-opening 16 in the base flange 13 and projects into the receiving space 23, where the rotor component 7 is connected to the driver. In this way, all rotational movements of the motor-mounted brake 40 or the drive arrangement 50 are transmitted via the driver 9 to the rotor component 7, which moves relative to the stator component 5.This rotation is detected in terms of both direction and speed via suitable electronic, optical, or mechanical components and converted into a transmittable signal, which can be transmitted to a controller via the supply line 3. The controller can detect or recognize operating criteria of the drive or the motor-mounted brake. In an embodiment not shown, the fastening area 49 is recessed axially into the housing component 42, so that an additional receiving space is formed there, which can accommodate the speedometer assembly 1 completely within the contour of the housing component 42. In this way, the speedometer assembly "disappears" completely within the housing component. The invention relates to a tachometer arrangement (1) for a motor-mounted brake (40), comprising: a stator component (5) which can be coupled during operation to a housing component (42) of the motor-mounted brake (40), a rotor component (7) which can be coupled to a drive shaft (51) passing through the motor-mounted brake (40), wherein the stator component (5) comprises a stator body (11) which has a base flange (13) and a connecting flange (15), the base flange (13) has a housing-side centering collar (17) on its outer circumference, the connecting flange (15) adjoins the base flange (13) in an axially offset manner and forms an inner wall (19) on its inner circumference, which, together with an outer surface (21) of the base flange (13), forms a receiving space (23) for the rotor component (7), and the receiving space (23) is closed off from the outside environment by a cover (29) that can be fixed to the connecting flange (15).Further embodiments and variations of the invention will become apparent to those skilled in the art within the scope of the claims.
