Abstract

[0001] The present invention relates to a load and / or person handling device.

[0002] It relates in particular to a load and / or person handling device comprising a self-propelled chassis, said to be rolling, equipped with front and rear wheels for its movement on the ground, a load and / or person handling system carried by said chassis, at least one lighting device and a drive control for the movement of the self-propelled chassis, which can be positioned at a distance from the chassis, the self-propelled chassis, which extends longitudinally from the front to the rear of the chassis, comprising on at least one of its lateral sides, taken with respect to the front / rear direction of the chassis, at least one technical compartment and a closing cover for said technical compartment mounted movable between an open position and a closed position.

Such a lighting device can be fitted to the basket of a lifting platform, as illustrated in US document 2013 / 187785. Due to their cost, the operating hours of these devices are increasing, and it is now common to use such handling equipment at night. The difficulty for an operator lies in controlling such a device while in motion at night, particularly when the device is controlled from a remote control located away from the chassis.

The machine (1) for handling a load and / or a person as claimed in one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the closure cover (9) is, in order to be fitted such as to be mobile between an open position and a closed position, a pivoting cover (9) which is fitted such as to be mobile in pivoting around a so-called longitudinal axis (XX') extending in the front / rear direction of the chassis (2).
