Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a connection device for connecting a supply hose, i.e. a pressure or suction hose for the purpose of vacuuming and / or drying a connection area, e.g. a floor area, a wall, a ceiling, a pipe or the like.
[0002] The edge joint area is the space between the horizontally extending floor and the vertically extending wall. Insulation is typically applied to the floor, and a screed rests or "floats" on top of this. The edge joint between the wall and the screed is often also filled with insulation in the form of foam, so that the foam sits in the edge joint between the horizontally extending screed and the vertically extending wall. This edge joint formed between the floor or screed and the wall can be used to dry the floor by blowing air or drying air into the area below the screed through the gap defined by the edge joint, or by extracting air.
[0003] This is done via an edge joint connection device, which is known, for example, from the German utility model DE 20 2007 012 243 of TROTEC GmbH, or from the device known in DE 20 2013 008 333 U1.
[0004] Both devices comprise an angle profile that can be placed against the connection area between the wall and floor or screed, thus resting against the connection area. The angle profile is designed here as the building connection element and includes a hose connection to which the end of a hose can be connected, or the hose end can be connected, the other end of which can be connected to a dryer or vacuum cleaner. Disadvantages of the state of the art
[0005] Edge joint connection devices known from the state of the art are therefore not very flexible, relatively expensive because they are a special component, and require a relatively large amount of space for transport due to the angle profile. Task
[0006] Based on the aforementioned prior art and the associated disadvantages, the object of the invention is to further develop a generic device in such a way that at least some of the disadvantages are avoided and, in particular, to provide a connection device that is particularly easy to transport and can be easily adapted to on-site requirements, i.e. can be used on any wall, floor or other areas regardless of their design. invention
[0007] This invention is already solved by the features of the independent claims. Preferred, but not mandatory, features are recited in the subclaims.
[0008] According to the invention, the building connection element is therefore designed as a preferably air-impermeable connection sleeve which can be placed snugly against the floor and wall section and which forms a surface element which, in an installed position, extends in a longitudinal direction and in a transverse direction extending transversely to the longitudinal direction, and on this surface element, i.e. the connection sleeve, the hose connection is provided.
[0009] According to the invention, the building connection element is no longer designed as a rigid angle profile made of metal or plastic, but as an elastic, flexible connection sleeve which can be applied to the wall / floor section with the enclosed edge joint or other substrates, in particular can be applied in a conforming or enclosing manner, so that the connection sleeve covers and seals this area (connection area). The connection sleeve can be sealed, for example, against the wall and floor, or more precisely the wall and floor section encompassing the edge joint, using an adhesive tape that is preferably included in the set, whereby the adhesive tape can be glued to the top of the connection sleeve and the wall or floor. Particularly good seals are achieved using a fabric tape. In principle, the fabric tape for fastening can be removed without leaving any residue from the surface of the sleeve and the substrate used for fastening.
[0010] Preferably, the connecting sleeve is designed as a 1 to 6 mm thick rubber mat in a size of 400 mm x 150 - 300 mm (length x width), which has a through opening approximately in the middle.
[0011] However, this doesn't have to be square and can, in principle, have any geometry adapted to the specific application. It could even be round, for example.
[0012] In particular, the device is suitable and intended for edge joint connection.
[0013] The hose connection, which preferably comprises a pipe socket with a flange for attachment to one side of the connection sleeve, is located in this through-hole. To fix the hose connection to the connection sleeve, a nut or a second flange can be screwed onto the pipe socket on the opposite side of the connection sleeve or fastened to it in another way. Fixing in another way is also possible, e.g. with a snap ring or a spring, e.g. ear clamps like those on a car fuel hose, which are pushed with their central opening onto the pipe socket on the opposite side of the flange.
[0014] This hose connection is preferably designed as a hollow-cylindrical connecting piece inserted into the plane of the connecting sleeve, preferably consisting of two parts, namely a first and a second part, which can be pressed against one another and thus enclose the connecting sleeve on both sides, so that the hollow-cylindrical connecting piece protrudes transversely through the plane of the connecting sleeve. A simplified embodiment provides that the connecting piece has only a one-sided connecting flange, which is annularly surrounded by the hollow-cylindrical connecting piece, and this contact flange is placed externally against the connecting sleeve, wherein the connecting piece penetrates a corresponding opening in the connecting sleeve.A snap ring or other designed retaining or spring element can then be placed around the connecting piece on the opposite inside to fix the connecting piece with flange to the connecting sleeve, e.g. an ear clamp that is attached to the connecting piece.
[0015] A hose can then be connected to this connection piece to blow a drying medium, particularly warm air, into or extract it from an edge joint or other drying area. This is useful, for example, for shafts or any opening that requires a connector with a specific geometry, such as openings in a wall, floor, or ceiling. The connection sleeve can also be used, for example, to enclose a pipe, allowing it to be used for drying purposes or to extract water from a damaged area.
[0016] For transport, the connection sleeve can be easily folded or rolled up, thus requiring less space compared to state-of-the-art technology and is therefore particularly easy to carry. Furthermore, it can be used for a wide variety of applications, adapting to different geometries, such as corners and pipes.
[0017] Sometimes the connection nozzle can become stuck to the surface, preventing further suction. To prevent this, the connection nozzle can be designed to prevent suction from sticking to the surface.
[0018] The connection piece preferably has interruptions or side holes through which air or liquid can be drawn in even when the end of the connection piece is resting on the substrate. Possible solutions include, for example, angled holes in the nozzle, a front edge of the connection piece provided with recesses or corrugations, or combinations of these solutions. Another option is to provide a through hole in the connection piece for accommodating an insertable rod, which prevents the connection sleeve from being sucked onto the substrate.
[0019] The invention therefore also relates to a set for carrying out an improved drying process comprising a connecting sleeve according to the invention and a suitable sealing or adhesive tape for adhering the connecting sleeve to the wall / floor area to be treated.

[0027] The invention is described below by way of example with reference to the figures. All features of the respective exemplary embodiments are disclosed independently and independently of other features of the respective exemplary embodiment. Likewise, the features mentioned above and those further explained can each be used individually or in any combination according to the invention. The embodiments shown and described are not to be understood as an exhaustive list, but rather are exemplary in nature for describing the invention.
[0028] They show: Fig. 1 shows an enlarged section of the floor area of a house with the edge joint connection device according to the invention arranged as intended; Fig. 2 shows an enlarged front view of the edge joint connection device from the front; Fig. 3 shows a cross-section through an enlarged illustration of the edge joint connection device; Fig. 4 shows an enlarged isometric side view of an alternatively designed connection piece designed to prevent suction from sticking to the floor; Fig. 5 shows a view from below of a connection device with a hose connection designed as a T-piece; Fig. 6 shows a side view of the connection device according to Figure 5 ; and Fig. 7 an enlarged isometric view of an alternatively designed connection nozzle to prevent suction to the floor.
[0029] Figure 1thus shows an enlarged section of a right-hand floor area with a horizontally extending subfloor 2, to which a side wall 4 is connected or installed vertically extending to the subfloor. On the subfloor 2 lies insulation 6, onto which a screed 8 is applied. On top of the screed lies a linoleum floor 10. Between the front end of the screed 8 and the side wall 4, an edge joint is formed, in which additional insulation material is located. Above this edge joint, between the side wall 4 and the linoleum floor 10, the edge joint connection device 12 according to the invention is arranged or fastened.
[0030] This edge joint connection device 12 is enlarged in the front view in the Figure 2 and in side view in Figure 3The edge joint connecting device 12 is formed in the present embodiment by an elastic rubber sleeve 14 with a length of 40-50 cm and a width of approximately 30 cm and a thickness of 1-6 mm.
[0031] In the center of this rubber sleeve 14, a hose connection is embedded, in this case comprising a connecting piece 16, which has a central hollow cylindrical piece designed for connection to a vacuum cleaner pipe or blower pipe and on whose rear side facing the wall, an inner flange 16a is formed, which extends radially outward from the outer surface of the connecting piece 16 and rests against the rear side of the rubber sleeve 14. The connecting piece 16 can be held by a disc spring 18 applied to the front of the connecting piece 16, which is pressed onto the connecting piece 16 under pretension and thus permanently fixes the connecting piece to the rubber sleeve 14.
[0032] The rubber sleeve 14 is sealingly attached to the linoleum floor 10 and to the side wall 4 by adhesive tape 20, which is connected to the wall or the linoleum floor 10 on the left side and transversely on the outer edges of the rubber sleeve 14.
[0033] However, the rubber sleeve 14 can also be attached to any other surface or object, such as a pipe in the corner of a building or the like, in order to inject air, water, or another medium into the object or to suck it out of it. Preferably, the working medium, in particular air, is sucked in.
[0034] Figure 4shows an enlarged isometric view of a connecting piece 22 of the connecting device according to the invention, which is designed to prevent suction from sticking to the connection area. For this purpose, the connecting piece 22 has a plurality of semicircular recesses 22a at its front end, as well as laterally opening and through holes 22b through which air or a medium can be sucked in or blown in, even if the front end of the connecting piece 16 sits flat on the connection area.
[0035] In the Figures 5 and 6In the alternative embodiment shown, the connecting sleeve is again designed as a rectangular rubber sleeve 14, which has a central through-opening in which the structural connection element is arranged. In this embodiment, the structural connection element, designed as a T-connecting piece 24, comprises a hollow cylindrical base piece 24a, in the longitudinal direction of which two transverse pieces 24b, 24c extend and are continuously connected. The base piece 24a penetrates the rubber sleeve 14 and is or can be fastened thereto with a snap ring or a nut.
[0036] From this foot socket 24a, two transverse sockets 24b, 24c protrude transversely to its longitudinal axis, to which the connection hose for the blower can be connected.
[0037] At the front end of the foot area 24a, the connecting piece 24 is again formed with several lateral recesses 24d (only one shown) in the shell surface in order to prevent the front end of the foot area from accidentally sticking to the surface, thus always ensuring sufficient suction power.
[0038] To avoid suction on the floor, the base area of the connecting piece 26 can be arranged according to the enlarged illustration of the lower front end in Figure 7 In addition to or as an alternative to the recesses 26a, there may also be a receiving hole 26b for an inserted rod or the like, which prevents the connecting sleeve from sticking to the surface and thus always ensures good suction performance.
