Description

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The object of the present invention application is to register a flushing device in toilet cisterns which incorporates significant innovations and advantages over the techniques used up until now.

[0002] More specifically, the invention proposes the development of a flushing device in toilet cisterns which, due to its particular arrangement, allows for a very significant improvement in its adaptability to all the connection bases or parts for connecting to the main body of a cistern.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0003] A number of water flushing devices used in toilet cisterns, designed to improve the efficient flushing of water in toilet cisterns and with a number of interconnecting elements that facilitate all this, are known in the current state of the art.

[0004] Such devices for flushing water in the sanitation sector are used to regulate the water coming out of toilet cisterns, and their main purpose through manual means of operation by a specific user is to provide the flushing of water from inside the cistern tank into the toilet bowl itself.

[0005] To do this, mechanisms of this type contained within the main body of the cistern tank are connected to the latter at the upper portion (where the operating button or buttons will be located) and at the lower portion (where the water outlet opening or spout will be located) of said tank, through elements of different kinds and immersed in an aqueous medium.

[0006] There is a very wide variety of water flushing devices applicable to toilet cisterns and most of the solutions or improvements provided by them are aimed at optimising performance, water consumption and materials used in installations of this type, so that they contribute to a better preservation of the environment, and all this without diminishing the working and service conditions, nor the quality and reliability of their operation.

[0007] In this sense, the cistern flushing devices of the technical sector of the present invention are precisely one of the devices used most frequently, on a daily basis, in any type of sanitary installation.

[0008] For this reason, and despite the constant improvement in the materials used and their connections, there is no doubt that the high frequency of use mentioned above, together with the specific characteristics of the work environment, may lead to wear and / or deterioration of some of the components over time and, therefore, to a decrease in their technical reliability. This will ultimately result in a poor operation, which can impair the use conditions of the toilet and even lead to a relatively serious incident in terms of flooding or accidental water spills, with the obvious damage that this entails.

[0009] Taking into account the relative frequency of the occurrence of these breakdowns or malfunctions, and the consequences (inconvenient or even serious) that they generate, it seems evident that it is highly desirable to contribute devices to the technical sector that are easy and quick to install (even by users without plumbing knowledge) and that can be applied to most of the existing connection elements.

[0010] In relation to this, apart from the great variety of flushing mechanisms, there are also many varied connection elements for connecting to the body of the cistern tank, with different particularities and anchoring elements corresponding to each of the different manufacturers and / or existing models, which gives an idea of the drawbacks encountered by a user, whether domestic or professional, when replacing a part or the complete assembly.

[0011] Given the need to provide a device for flushing water into toilet cisterns capable of adapting to a large part of the connection elements originally installed in cisterns, it has been developed the technical solution of the present invention, the advantages of being universal and the easy assembly thereof will be clear based on the details that will be set out in the following sections with reference to the attached drawings.

[0012] The present invention contributes to solving and overcoming this problem, as it allows for a very significant improvement in its adaptability to all the connection bases or parts for connecting to the main body of a cistern.DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0023] Figure 1 is a schematic general view of a preferred embodiment of the flushing device in toilet cisterns of the present invention. Figure 2 is a schematic plan elevation view showing a preferred embodiment of the flushing device in toilet cisterns of the present invention. Figures 3 and 4 are schematic views from different perspectives showing a preferred embodiment of the flushing device in toilet cisterns of the present invention. DESCRIPTION OF A PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0024] Several types of connection bases for connecting to the main body of a cistern, which in turn incorporate different connection means, which can vary between a threaded connection or a bayonet connection, are known in the state of the art.

[0025] As shown schematically in Figure 1, the flushing device in toilet cisterns of the invention, generally depicted with reference number 1, is enabled for its connection to and installation in a connection base 2 of a toilet cistern.

[0026] For this purpose and in accordance with the invention, the flushing device in toilet cisterns incorporates in the region of its base body 11 enabled for fixing to said connection base 2 fixing means 12 adapted to the connection base 2 of a toilet cistern, whether said connection base 2 is threaded or has a bayonet connection.

[0027] Additionally, it is considered appropriate to define, for the present invention, that the region of the base body 11 enabled for fixing the flushing device 1 of the invention to the connection base 2 for connecting to the cistern can be a part acting as an adapter solidly attached to the main body of the flushing device 1 or can be a region of the base body 11 itself of the flushing device 1 object of the present invention.

[0028] For this purpose, the fixing means 12 in turn comprise threaded connection elements and male bayonet-type connection elements.

[0029] In different preferred embodiments of the flushing device in toilet cisterns of the invention, as can be seen in Figures 2, 3 and 4, the threaded connection elements of the fixing means 12 comprise at least one fixing tab 121 incorporating a plurality of toothed protruding elements, and the male bayonet-type fixing elements of the same fixing means 12 are in turn incorporated in at least one other fixing tab 122.

[0030] As can be seen in the preferred embodiment of Figures 2, 3 and 4, the fixing means 12 comprise a pair of fixing tabs 121 with toothed protruding elements and a pair of fixing tabs 122 with the male bayonet-type fixing element.

[0031] More specifically, as can be seen in Figures 2, 3 and 4, the two fixing tabs 121 with toothed protruding elements are facing each other, and the two fixing tabs 122 with the male bayonet-type fixing element are also facing each other.

[0032] In addition, as can be seen in Figure 3, at least one fixing tab 122 with the male bayonet-type fixing element further incorporates, protruding toothed elements 123.

[0033] Therefore, the flushing device in toilet cisterns of the proposed invention can be assembled and installed interchangeably on connection bases 2 of a toilet cistern, whether such connection bases 2 have a threaded connection 21 or a bayonet connection.

[0034] Different connection bases 2 of toilet cisterns, consisting of disc-shaped parts which can incorporate threaded elements or bayonet fixing means or combinations thereof on their outer perimeter, are known in the state of the art.

[0035] As a result of its arrangement, the flushing device in toilet cisterns of the invention can be adapted to multiple connection bases 2 for connecting to cisterns existing on the market and in the state of the art.

[0036] This means that the operations for replacing these devices in already installed cisterns can be extremely facilitated, and without requiring the need to carry out more complex operations of completely taking apart the cistern and replacing its corresponding connection base 2, which very substantially reduces the effectiveness of said operation for replacing same in terms of time and ergonomics for a professional and / or domestic user.

[0037] Additionally, the absence of other intermediate adapter elements also provides a substantial competitive advantage in the sector by eliminating assembly parts, and it also represents savings in terms of economics, manufacturing and logistics in devices of this type.

[0038] Also, the flushing device in toilet cisterns of the invention overcomes another additional problem, i.e., in the technical sector there are also connection bases 2 for connecting to cisterns that incorporate different types of thread 21 at a dimensional level, so providing adaptability to any type of threads is a very important advantage at a technical level, compared to devices in the state of the art.

[0039] Furthermore, the unique arrangement of the fixing tabs 121, 122 on the base body 11 allows them to be adapted to threaded connection bases 2 for connecting to cisterns without the need to be completely screwed in, that is, by having a certain flexibility, the fixing tabs 121, 122 can adapt to the thread 21 of the connection base 2 of the cistern by pressure, with the flushing device in toilet cisterns of the invention also being retained against said connection base 2 of the cistern, which is one of the main purposes of the invention.

[0040] This also provides a relevant advantage, i.e., since it is not necessary to take apart the cistern to exchange the connection base 2 between said cistern and the flushing device in toilet cisterns of the invention, the latter provides fixing means 12 that are much more intuitive and simpler since the user will not need to position and place the threaded fixing elements facing each other, and will only need to position the flusher 1 of the invention and apply pressure in a vertical downward direction to achieve the toothed fixing of the device 1 of the invention against the connection base 2 of the cistern.

[0041] In other embodiments of the flushing device in toilet cisterns of the invention, the fixing tabs 121 incorporating a plurality of toothed protruding elements and / or the fixing tabs 122 incorporating the male bayonet-type fixing element are flexible.

[0042] With this added detail, the adaptation of the invention to different diameters of the connection base 2 and different threads is made easier and also achieves a quick connection without the need for turns.

[0043] In another embodiment of the invention, where the connection base 2 of the cistern incorporates bayonet-type connection means, the device 1 of the invention also provides effective fixation against said connection base 2, carrying out a first vertical interlocking operation and a subsequent horizontal securing of the bayonet-type fixing means 12.

[0044] In short, the flushing device in toilet cisterns of the invention consequently provides universal assembly in any type of connection base 2 for connecting to a cistern, providing this main technical advantage to the technical sector.

[0045] The details, shapes, dimensions and other secondary elements, as well as the materials used in manufacturing the flushing device in toilet cisterns of the invention, may be suitably replaced with others that are technically equivalent and do not depart from the essential nature of the invention or from the scope defined by the claims included below.
