Abstract
Description
[0001] Adjustment device for a furniture pull-out
[0002] The invention relates to an adjusting device for a furniture pull-out, in particular a drawer, which has a front element extending in a width direction of the furniture pull-out, a rear wall arranged opposite the front element and at least two side parts extending between the front element and the rear wall, wherein the furniture pull-out is movably guided relative to a furniture carcass by means of at least one guide unit belonging to the adjusting device, wherein the guide unit has a carcass rail which can be fastened to the furniture carcass and at least one pull-out rail which is mounted displaceably relative to the carcass rail and coupled to the furniture pull-out via at least one coupling unit, and wherein the adjusting device has at least one adjusting unit for setting a relative position between the furniture pull-out and the pull-out rail.
[0003] Adjustment devices for a furniture pull-out for setting or adjusting the position of the furniture pull-out in relation to the surrounding furniture body have been known for a long time.
[0004] A common example is an adjustment device with which the joint pattern between a front element of a drawer and the furniture carcass surrounding the front element can be adjusted. Such an adjustment device is described, for example, in DE 20 2015 006 934 U1, wherein the adjustment device comprises a so-called locking coupling which is used to couple the drawer and the associated pull-out rail of a guide unit. The locking coupling has a lateral adjustment unit with which the relative position of the front element in relation to the furniture carcass can be adjusted in the width direction. If necessary, the locking coupling is also designed as a so-called 3D locking coupling, so that the relative position can also be adjusted in the other two spatial directions, i.e. the depth direction and the height direction.
[0005] However, when using such adjustment devices, it can happen that, at maximum lateral adjustment of the furniture drawer, the adjustment range is so large that the furniture drawer becomes laterally tilted from front to back. This can result in a gap or a locking error between the drawer front, or rather the front element, and the front edge of the cabinet.
[0006] The object of the invention is to create an adjustment device of the type mentioned at the outset, with which the relative position between the furniture pull-out and the furniture body surrounding the furniture pull-out can be optimally adjusted, whereby in particular evenly formed front gaps can be adjusted between the front element of the furniture pull-out and the surrounding furniture body.
[0007] This object is achieved by an adjusting device having the features of independent claim 1. Further developments of the invention are presented in the subclaims.
[0008] The adjustment device according to the invention is characterized in that the adjustment unit is assigned to the rear end of the pull-out rail and has a base body which can be fastened on the furniture pull-out side and on which an actuating element and an adjusting member are movably mounted such that the adjusting member can be adjusted by actuating the actuating element relative to the base body in order to adjust the relative position between the furniture pull-out and the pull-out rail in the width direction in the region of the rear end of the pull-out rail.
[0009] In order to achieve, as described above, a uniform joint pattern or a uniformly formed front gap between, on the one hand, the furniture pull-out and, on the other hand, the furniture body surrounding the furniture pull-out in the front visible area, the relative position between the furniture pull-out and the pull-out rail is adjusted in the rear area or in the area of the rear end of the pull-out rail.
[0010] It is possible that such an adjustment device is assigned exclusively to the rear end of the pull-out rail and therefore only an adjustment takes place in the area of the rear end of the pull-out rail, however it is advantageous, in particular in order to avoid the previously described disadvantage of the lateral inclination of the furniture pull-out from front to back, that in addition to the adjustment unit in the area of the rear end of the pull-out rail, an adjustment unit is also provided in the front area of the pull-out rail.
[0011] It is therefore particularly preferred that the adjusting device has at least one adjusting unit assigned to the front region of the pull-out rail for adjusting the relative position between the furniture pull-out and the pull-out rail in the width direction in the region of the front end of the pull-out rail.
[0012] Particularly preferably, the adjustment unit is a component of the coupling unit; for example, it can be integrated into the coupling unit. With the aid of the adjustment unit, a so-called 3D adjustment in all three spatial directions is possible, i.e., an adjustment of the relative position of the furniture extension in relation to the furniture body in the width direction, in the height direction, and in the depth direction.
[0013] In a further development of the invention, the coupling unit is designed as a snap-in coupling for releasably locking the pull-out rail and the furniture pull-out. Since the furniture pull-out is generally guided so as to be movable relative to the furniture body by two opposing guide units, i.e. a right and left guide unit, it is expedient to assign each of the pull-out rails, i.e. the left and right pull-out rails, an adjustment unit for adjusting the relative position between the furniture pull-out and the pull-out rail at the rear end of the respective pull-out rail. In principle, however, it would also be conceivable to equip only one of the pull-out rails with an adjustment unit at the rear end.
[0014] In a further development of the invention, a coupling device is provided in addition to the coupling unit, which is assigned to the rear region of the pull-out rail, with a coupling tab, in particular designed in the form of a hook, and a tab holder for receiving the coupling tab, which are designed in such a way that the clear width of the tab holder is greater than the width of the coupling tab, so that width compensation is possible.
[0015] Conveniently, the coupling tabs are arranged on the upper side of the pull-out rail, and the tab holder is arranged on the side of the furniture pull-out. In principle, however, it would also be conceivable to assign the coupling tab to the furniture pull-out and the tab holder to the pull-out rail.
[0016] In a further development of the invention, a rear panel holder is provided for connecting an associated side panel to the rear panel of the furniture drawer. The side panels can each be designed as a side panel or, alternatively, as a side frame, the latter usually being designed as a hollow-chamber frame.
[0017] In a particularly preferred manner, the rear wall holder has a fastening interface to which the adjustment unit can be fastened or is fastened.
[0018] Particularly preferably, the rear wall holder is designed as an angle profile, with a first profile leg assigned to the side part and fastenable there, and a second profile leg assigned to the rear wall and fastenable there, wherein the fastening interface for fastening the adjustment unit is preferably designed on the second profile leg.
[0019] In a further development of the invention, the base body and / or the actuator are plate-shaped.
[0020] Particularly preferably, the actuator is pivotally mounted on the base body by means of a pivot bearing, wherein the pivoting movement of the actuator can be triggered by actuating the actuating element. Alternatively, however, it is also conceivable for the actuator to be movable linearly relative to the base body by means of suitable bearing means, wherein the linear movement of the actuator can also be triggered by actuating the actuating element.
[0021] In a further development of the invention, the actuating element is designed as an adjusting wheel that is rotatably mounted on the base body, wherein the rotary movement of the adjusting wheel can be converted into the pivoting movement of the actuator via conversion means acting between the adjusting wheel and the actuator. In the case of linear mobility of the actuator, the rotary movement of the adjusting wheel can be converted into the linear movement of the actuator via corresponding conversion means.
[0022] In a further development of the invention, the transfer means comprise a worm guide with a worm groove and a guide pin that extends into the worm groove and is positively guided there. Preferably, the worm groove is formed on the adjusting wheel and the guide pin is formed on the actuator. Alternatively, it is possible to form the guide pin on the adjusting wheel and the worm groove on the actuator.
[0023] In a further development of the invention, the actuator has an engagement section for engagement around a component of the pull-out rail, in particular the suspension hook, which can be displaced relative to the associated component of the pull-out rail for the purpose of width compensation during the adjustment movement of the actuator, which is triggered in particular by pivoting. In a further development of the invention, the adjustment unit is fastened to the fastening interface of the rear wall holder via fastening tabs and associated fastening slots receiving the fastening tabs, wherein the fastening tabs are preferably formed on the rear wall holder and the fastening slots on the base body. Alternatively, it is possible for the fastening tabs to be formed on the base body and the fastening slots on the rear wall holder.
[0024] In a particularly preferred manner, the adjustment unit consists of plastic or metal material, for example steel, or cast metal material, preferably cast zinc.
[0025] The invention further comprises a piece of furniture having a furniture pull-out which is guided via a guide unit so as to be movable relative to a furniture body, which pull-out is characterized by an adjusting device according to one of claims 1 to 15.

[0033] Figure 8 is an exploded view of the adjustment device from a view obliquely from the front and
[0034] Figure 9 is an exploded view of the adjustment device of Figure 8 with a view obliquely from the rear.
[0035] Figures 1 to 9 show a preferred embodiment of the adjusting device 13 according to the invention in a piece of furniture 11 which is equipped with a furniture pull-out 12 in the form of a drawer.
[0036] As shown particularly in Figure 1, the furniture 11 has a furniture body 14, in which, in the example shown, a pull-out compartment 15 is formed. The furniture pull-out 12, which in the example shown is designed as a drawer, is movably guided in the pull-out compartment 15.
[0037] The furniture pull-out 12 in the form of a drawer has a base element 16, a front element (not shown), a rear wall 17, and two side parts 18a, 18b. In the example shown, the side parts 18a, 18b are designed as side frames, preferably as hollow-chamber side frames.
[0038] As shown in particular in Figure 1, the rear wall 17 and the side parts 18a, 18b protrude essentially perpendicularly from the base element 16 and run in a vertical direction 19. The rear wall 17 is opposite the front element. The front element and rear wall 17 run in a width direction 20 of the furniture pull-out 12. The two side parts 18a, 18b form the left and right lateral ends of the furniture pull-out 12 and run in the depth direction 21, i.e., they are aligned essentially perpendicularly to the rear wall 17 and the front element. Guide units 24a, 24b for guiding the associated furniture pull-out 12 are fastened to the opposing inner sides 22a, 22b of the side walls 23a, 23b of the furniture body 14, which border the pull-out compartment 15 on the left and right.
[0039] The guide units 24a, 24b are constructed essentially identically to one another, so that the description of one guide unit 24a also applies to the other guide unit 24b.
[0040] The guide units 24a, 24b each have a body rail 25, which can be designed, for example, as a folded sheet metal component. As shown in particular in Figure 2, the body rail 25 has a body angle for fastening, which has at least one mounting leg 26, which has a plurality of fastening openings (not shown), arranged, for example, one behind the other in rows, via which the body angle can be fixedly fastened to the associated side wall 23a with the aid of suitable fastening means. Aligned perpendicular to the mounting leg 26 and assigned to a base of the pull-out compartment 15, a guide leg 27 runs in the depth direction 21 of the pull-out compartment 15.
[0041] In the example shown, the guide unit 24a, 24b is designed as a so-called full extension, which is characterized in that the carcass rail 25 is assigned a center rail 28 which is movably guided relative to the carcass rail 25 via guide means.
[0042] A further component of each guide unit 24a, 24b is a pull-out rail 29, which could also be referred to as a drawer rail. The pull-out rail 29 is connected, on the one hand, to the furniture pull-out 12 via a coupling unit (not shown), and, on the other hand, the pull-out rail 29 is movably guided relative to the center rail 28.
[0043] The coupling unit, not shown in the figures, can be designed, for example, as a so-called locking coupling, with the aid of which a releasable locking of the pull-out rail 29 and the furniture pull-out 12 can be carried out. The locking coupling can be fastened to the underside of the base element 16 and designed such that a simple locking threading of the locking coupling at a locking interface provided for this purpose on the pull-out rail 29 is possible. An essential aspect of the invention is the aforementioned adjusting device 13, which has at least one adjusting unit 30 for setting a relative position between the furniture pull-out 12 and the pull-out rail 29.
[0044] In the example shown, the adjusting device 13 has two adjusting units 30a, 30b which are constructed essentially identically to one another, one of the adjusting units 30a being assigned to the left guide unit 24a and the other adjusting unit 30b to the right guide unit 24b. The description of the functioning of the adjusting units 30a, 30b is therefore limited below to the explanation of the left adjusting unit 30a shown in Figures 2 to 4, the right adjusting unit 30b having the same mode of operation. In principle, it is possible for the adjusting device 13 to have only a single adjusting unit, which is then located either on the left or on the right guide unit 24a, 24b. However, it is preferred to provide two adjusting units 30a, 30b.
[0045] As shown in particular in Figures 1 to 4, the adjusting units 30a, 30b are each assigned to the rear end of the relevant pull-out rail 29 and each have a base body 31 which can be fastened on the furniture pull-out side. An actuating element 32 and an adjusting member 33 are movably mounted on the base body 31 in such a way that the adjusting member 33 can be adjusted by actuating the actuating element 32 relative to the base body 32 in order to adjust the relative position between the furniture pull-out 12 and the pull-out rail 29 in the width direction 20 in the region of the rear end 34 of the pull-out rail 29. As already mentioned, the furniture pull-out 12 is coupled to the pull-out rail 29 via a coupling unit, in particular in the form of a snap-in coupling, in particular in the region of the front end of the pull-out rail. However, there is also a coupling of furniture pull-out 12 and pull-out rail 29 in the area of the rear end 34 of the pull-out rail 29.
[0046] In contrast to the coupling unit, the coupling at the rear end 34 of the pull-out rail 29 is carried out in a different way.
[0047] A coupling device 35 is provided here, which has a coupling tab 36, which is designed in particular in the form of a hook. Furthermore, a tab receptacle 37 is provided for receiving the coupling tab 36, which is designed such that the clear width of the tab receptacle 37 is greater than the width of the coupling tab 36, so that width compensation in the width direction 20 is possible. This means that the arrangement of the coupling tab 36 and the tab receptacle 37 enables a relative movement of the furniture pull-out 12 in the width direction 20 to one another.
[0048] The pull-out rail 29 and also the middle rail 28 and the carcass rail 25 are expediently made of metal, in particular steel. The coupling tab is expediently arranged on the pull-out rail 29 and in particular is formed there in one piece with the pull-out rail 29. In the case of a pull-out rail 29 made of metal, in particular steel, the coupling tab can be designed as a bending tab formed by bending a part of the pull-out rail 29 upwards and forwards. Expediently, the tab receptacle is located on the side of the furniture pull-out 12. Although not shown, the coupling tab 36 has a corrugation with corrugation peaks and corrugation valleys lying one behind the other in the depth direction. The corrugation valleys and corrugation peaks extend in the width direction 20.A counter-grooving can be formed on the tab receptacle 37, whereby a type of securing in the depth direction 21 is achieved by the interlocking of the grooving tips on the coupling tab 36 in the grooving valleys of the counter-grooving, that is to say a relative movement between the furniture pull-out 12 and the pull-out rail 29 in the depth direction 21 is thereby prevented.
[0049] Although not necessary, it is nevertheless preferred that an adjusting unit (not shown) associated with the front region of the pull-out rail 29 is provided for adjusting the relative position between the furniture pull-out 12 and the pull-out rail 29 in the width direction 20 in the region of the front end of the pull-out rail 29. The adjusting unit is expediently a component of the coupling unit in the form of a locking coupling.
[0050] As shown particularly in Figures 2 to 4, a rear wall bracket 38 is provided for connecting an associated side part 18a to the rear wall 17 of the furniture extension 12. In the example shown, the left side part 18a is connected to the rear wall 17 via the rear wall bracket 38. The rear wall bracket 38 is designed as an angle profile.
[0051] As shown in particular in Figures 2 to 4, the angle profile has a first profile leg 39a assigned to the side part 18a and fastenable there, and a second profile leg 39b assigned to the rear wall 17 and fastenable there. As shown for example in Figure 2, the second profile leg 39b assigned to the rear wall 17 is fastened to the associated rear wall 17 by means of fastening means, for example fastening screws 40. The second profile leg 39b assigned to the rear wall 17 has an inner side (not shown) which, in the assembled state, rests against the outer side of the rear wall 17 and an outer side 41 opposite the inner side.
[0052] The rear wall holder 38 has a fastening interface 42 to which the adjustment unit 30a is attached. In the example shown, the fastening interface 42 is located on the outer side 41 of the second profile leg 39b associated with the rear wall 17.
[0053] Figures 5 to 9 show the adjustment units 30a, 30b, of which the left adjustment unit 30a assigned to the left extension rail 29 is shown in the figures. The structure and operation of the right adjustment unit 30b (not shown) are identical, except for the geometry, which is a mirror image of the left adjustment unit 30a.
[0054] The adjustment unit 30a essentially has three main components: the base body 31, the actuating element 32, and the actuator 33.
[0055] As shown particularly in Figures 8 and 9, the base body 31 and the actuator 33 are essentially plate-shaped. As shown, for example, in Figure 2, the tab receptacle 37, which cooperates with the coupling tab 36 arranged on the extension rail 29, is located on the underside of the second profile leg 39b assigned to the rear wall 17.
[0056] In the example shown, the adjustment unit 30a is made of plastic, i.e., the base body 31, the actuating element 32, and the actuator 33 are expediently made of plastic. It is particularly preferred to produce these plastic bodies by means of plastic injection molding, whereby the functional sections, in particular on the base body 31 and on the actuator 33, can be molded directly during production. Of course, it is also possible to manufacture the adjustment unit 30a from metal material.
[0057] The base body 31 of the adjustment unit 30a has an inner side 43 facing the actuator 33 and the second profile leg 39b of the rear wall holder 38 and an outer side 44 facing away from the inner side 43. The base body is penetrated by a plurality of fastening slots 45 running between the inner side and the outer side 44, which serve to fasten the adjustment unit 30a to the fastening interface 42. Fastening tabs 75, which are formed on the second profile leg 39b, penetrate into the fastening slots 45 for fastening the adjustment unit 30a, 30b to the rear wall holder 38.
[0058] As shown, for example, in Figure 8, the base body 31 is substantially rectangular, with the base body 31 having an upper edge 46 and a lower edge 47 arranged opposite thereto. In the region of the lower edge 47 of the base body 31, a type of notch 48 is provided, in which, when the adjusting unit 30a, 30b is assembled, a functional section of the actuator 33, described in more detail below, is arranged. In the case of the left-hand adjusting unit 30a, there is an extension 49 to the left of the notch 48, through which one of the fastening slots 45 extends.
[0059] As shown in particular in Figure 9, the base body 31 has an upper edge wall section 50 formed on the upper edge 46 and pointing inwards in the direction of the actuator. Between the upper edge 46 and the lower edge 47 of the base body 31 run side edges 51 oriented perpendicular thereto, one of the side edges having a side edge wall section 52 which, in the assembled state, encompasses the inner (right-hand) side edge of the second profile leg 39a of the rear wall holder 38 assigned to the rear wall 17.
[0060] As already mentioned, the actuator 33 is pivotally mounted on the base body 31 by means of pivot bearing means, wherein the pivoting movement of the actuator 33 can be initiated or triggered by actuating the actuating element 32.
[0061] The pivot bearing means include, as shown in particular in Figure 8, a bearing pin 53 which is pivotally mounted in an associated pin receptacle 54. In the example shown, the pin receptacle 54 is formed on the base body, while the bearing pin 53 is arranged on the actuator 33. Expediently, the pin receptacle 54 is located in the region of the upper edge 46 of the base body 31 and, accordingly, the bearing pin 53 is located in the region of an upper edge 55 of the actuator 33. The arrangement of the bearing pin and pin receptacle 53, 54 makes it possible for the actuator 33 to be mounted pivotably relative to the base body 31 about a pivot axis 56 aligned axially to the bearing pin 53.
[0062] The pivoting movement is initiated by the aforementioned actuating element 32, which in the example shown is designed as an adjusting wheel. As is shown in particular in Figure 5, the adjusting wheel projects laterally beyond the left side edge 51 of the base body 31 with a circumferential area, which enables easier handling of the adjusting wheel by the user from the outside of the base body 31. As is shown in particular in Figure 9, the adjusting wheel is arranged rotatably on the base body 31. The rotary movement of the adjusting wheel is converted into the pivoting movement of the actuator 33 by conversion means acting between the adjusting wheel and the actuator 33.
[0063] As shown in particular in Figure 9, a further bearing pin 57 is formed on the inside of the base body, onto which the adjusting wheel is placed with a central bearing hole 58 and is rotatably mounted there.
[0064] As is particularly evident from the combination of Figures 8 and 9, the transfer means are designed as a worm guide 59 with a worm groove 60 and a guide pin 61 which is inserted into the worm groove 60 and is positively guided there.
[0065] In the example shown, the eccentrically extending worm groove 60 is located on the adjusting wheel, with the guide pin 61 (Figure 8) located on the actuator 33. The guide pin 61 is arranged in the region of the side edge of the actuator 33. In the assembled state, the guide pin 61 engages the worm groove 60 formed on the adjusting wheel.
[0066] By initiating a rotary movement on the adjusting wheel, the guide pin is positively guided in the worm groove 60 and slides within the worm groove 60, whereby, due to its eccentricity, a pivoting movement of the actuator 33 relative to the base body 31 occurs.
[0067] Base body 31 and actuator 33 have further functional sections. As shown in particular in Figure 8, a window-like recess 62 is formed on the base body, behind which, on the inner side 43 of the base body 31, a web-like coupling element 63 is formed, pointing in the direction of the actuator 33. Fastening slots 45 are located on the base body 31 above and below the window-like recess 62.
[0068] The actuator 33, shown particularly in Figures 8 and 9, is plate-shaped, as mentioned above. The actuator has an inner actuator side 64 facing the base section and an outer actuator side 65 associated with the fastening interface 42 on the rear panel holder when the adjustment unit 30a is in the assembled state.
[0069] As already mentioned, the actuator 33 has an actuator upper edge 55 and an actuator lower edge 66 arranged opposite thereto. As shown in particular in Figure 8, the actuator 33 has, in the region of its lower edge 66, a gripping section 67 for gripping a component of the pull-out rail, in particular the suspension hook.
[0070] As shown in particular in Figure 8, the encompassing section has two mutually opposite encompassing legs 68a, 68b which, as described in more detail below, are to be positioned in different positions relative to the coupling tab 36 or suspension hook of the pull-out rail.
[0071] As shown particularly in Figure 9, the actuator 33 has a window-like recess 69 into which the coupling element 36 on the base body 31 is inserted. The actuator 33 has actuator side edges, of which a left actuator side edge wall section 70, in the assembled state, encompasses the profile leg 39a on the left. Figures 2 to 4 show the mode of operation of the adjusting device 13 according to the invention.
[0072] Figure 2 shows the basic position of the adjusting member 30a, wherein the two encircling legs 68a, 68b are centered in relation to the coupling tab 36 on the pull-out rail 29.
[0073] To compensate for the width in the area of the rear end of the pull-out rail 29, a rotary movement is initiated via the adjusting wheel, which leads to a pivoting of the actuator 33. In this case, the encompassing section 67 with its two encompassing legs 68a, 68b is displaced in relation to the coupling tab 36, as is shown for example in Figure 3. According to Figure 3, the actuator 33 pivots in a counterclockwise direction. The left-hand encompassing leg 68a can come into contact with the coupling tab 36, as a result of which the entire furniture pull-out 12 is displaced in relation to the pull-out rail 29, which is fixed in the width direction. In the example shown, the furniture pull-out 12 is displaced to the left, as a result of which the problems mentioned above can be eliminated, particularly in the area of the front element.
[0074] Figure 4 shows a pivoting of the actuator 33 in a clockwise direction, wherein the right-hand gripping leg 68b comes into contact with the coupling tab 36, so that the furniture pull-out 12 is displaced to the right in this case.
