[0001] The present invention relates to the technical field of sprayers. In particular, the present invention relates to a portable sprayer designed for attachment to a belt element. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a sprayer system comprising a portable sprayer and a belt element.

[0002] Portable sprayers are used, for example, by police departments as part of their security equipment. Portable sprayers are typically equipped with an irritant cartridge, in which case the sprayers are also referred to as irritant sprayers. However, the sprayers can also be equipped with different spray cartridges.

The belt element can be oriented perpendicular to the insertion direction when inserted. If the belt element is inserted between the holding section and the intermediate section, the holding section and the intermediate section are arranged on a respective opposite side of the belt element, which is in particular oriented perpendicular to the insertion direction. The spray device is then fastened to the belt element. Slipping out of the belt element in the insertion direction is prevented by the connection of the holding section to the intermediate section.The belt element inserted between the holding section and the intermediate section can be extended by moving it in a direction opposite to the insertion direction to remove the sprayer from the belt element. Of course, the sprayer can also be attached or removed by moving the sprayer itself. Simultaneous movement of the belt element and sprayer is also possible.

Claims

1. Portable spray device (10), in particular a portable irritant spray device, comprising: - an elongated housing (12) which has two end regions (14, 16) with respect to its longitudinal extent;and - a belt holder (30), in particular a belt clamp, which has at least one mounting section (32), an intermediate section (34) and a holding section (36), wherein the belt holder (30) is mounted on the housing (12) by the mounting section (32), wherein the intermediate section (34) adjoins the mounting section (32) and extends from the mounting section (32) in the direction of a first end region of the end regions (14, 16), and wherein the holding section (36) adjoins the intermediate section (34) and extends from the intermediate section (34) in the direction of a second end region of the end regions (14, 16), so that a belt element (52) can be inserted between the holding section (36) and the intermediate section (34) by displacement in an insertion direction (54) facing the first end region of the end regions (14, 16) of the housing (12) in order to fix the spray device (10) on the to attach the belt element (52); 2. Portable sprayer (10) according to claim 1, characterized in that the first end region is an upper end region (14) of the housing (12) and the second end region is a lower end region (16) of the housing (12), wherein the mounting section (32) is mounted on the lower end region (14), wherein the intermediate section (34) extends from the mounting section (32) towards the upper end region (16), and wherein the holding section (36) extends from the intermediate section (34) towards the lower end region (14).

Portable sprayer (10) according to claim 1, characterized in thatthe first end region is a lower end region (16) of the housing (12) and the second end region (14) is an upper end region of the housing (12), wherein the mounting section (32) is mounted on the upper end region (16), wherein the intermediate section (34) extends from the mounting section (32) towards the lower end region (14), and wherein the holding section (36) extends from the intermediate section (34) towards the upper end region (16).

Portable spray device (10) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that an end region (56) of the holding section (36) assigned to the second end region of the end regions (14, 16) of the housing (12) is aligned obliquely to the housing (12) to form an insertion guide for the belt element (52) and extends away from the housing (12).

5. Portable spray device (10) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in thatthe holding section (36) has a bulge (70) directed away from the housing (12) which forms a receptacle for the belt element (52).

6. Portable spray device (10) according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the holding section (36) has an elongated clamping area (58) which is prestressed against the intermediate section (34) or against the housing (12).

Portable spray device (10) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the belt element (52) can be inserted between the intermediate section (34) and the housing (12) by displacement in a further insertion direction (60) facing the second end region of the end regions (14, 16) in order to fasten the spray device (10) to the belt element (52).

Portable spray device (10) according to the preceding claim, characterized in thatan end region (64) of the intermediate section (34) associated with the first end region of the end regions (14, 16) of the housing (12) and an end region (62) of the holding section (36) associated with the first end region of the end regions (14, 16) of the housing (12) are aligned obliquely to the housing (12) to form an insertion guide for the belt element (52) and extend away from the housing (12).

9. Portable spray device (10) according to one of claims 7 and 8, characterized in that the intermediate section (34) has a bulge (68) directed away from the housing (12) which forms a receptacle for the belt element (52).

10. Portable spray device (10) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the belt holder (30) has a bent metal rod (38).

11. Portable spray device (10) according to the preceding claim, characterized in thatthe longitudinal ends (40) of the metal rod (38) are mounted on the housing (12), and that the metal rod (38) is bent in a meandering shape to form the intermediate section (34) and the holding section (36).

12. Portable spray device (10) according to one of claims 10 and 11, characterized in that the holding section (36) is formed by two first rod sections (44) of the metal rod (38), each extending from the intermediate section (34) in the direction of the second end region of the end regions (14, 16) of the housing (12).

13. Portable spray device (10) according to the preceding claim, characterized in that an anti-spreading device (72) manufactured independently of the metal rod (38) is arranged on the first rod sections (44), which counteracts a spreading of the first rod sections (44) relative to one another.

14. Portable spray device (10) according to the preceding claim, characterized in thatthe expansion lock (72) is formed by a securing eyelet (74) with a through-opening, wherein both first rod sections (44) extend through the through-opening.

15. Portable spray device (10) according to one of claims 10 to 14, characterized in that the intermediate section (34) is formed by two second rod sections (48) of the metal rod (38), each extending from the mounting section (32) in the direction of the first end region of the end regions (14, 16) of the housing (12).

16. Portable spray device (10) according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the first rod sections (44) are arranged in the circumferential direction of the housing (12) between the second rod sections (48).

17. A sprayer system comprising: a portable sprayer (10) according to any one of the preceding claims; and a belt element (52) which can be inserted between the holding section (36) and the intermediate section (34) by displacement in an insertion direction (54) facing the first end region of the end regions (14, 16) of the housing (12) of the sprayer (10) in order to fasten the sprayer (10) to the belt element (52).
