Abstract
Description
[0001] Mobile wound treatment set
[0002] The invention relates to a mobile wound treatment set comprising a band-shaped product for wound care and a housing accommodating the band-shaped product.
[0003] Wound plasters for smaller "everyday wounds" are available as cuttable strip plasters, which can be cut to the correct size by the user, or as pre-cut plasters, usually individually packaged in blisters.
[0004] In order to use a track pavement, a suitable cutting instrument such as scissors must always be available, which is often not the case, especially when you are on the move.
[0005] Pre-cut plasters are available in various sizes and materials. These are usually individually wrapped and sold in folding cardboard boxes and are generally kept at home or in a handbag, rucksack, etc. when on the go. The folding boxes kept in luggage when on the go often get squashed and after a short time no longer look good or are even damaged. Occasionally plasters fall out of the folding box and become crumpled up along with their primary packaging or even become dirty. In addition, unpacking the individual plasters before use takes a relatively long time because they have to be taken out of the primary packaging and are additionally protected with a release paper which has to be peeled off.
[0006] Dispensers in which plasters are stored and can be removed when needed are known from the state of the art. Such dispensers are large and are therefore intended for stationary use. They can often be placed on a stand or mounted on a wall so that the plasters are within easy reach, for example in the office, at the workplace or next to a machine. Other versions of such dispensers are designed so heavy that they can be placed on a work surface and dressing material can be pulled out without the dispenser having to be secured or slipping. These dispensers are not suitable for carrying in luggage, for example in a handbag or backpack. A dispenser of the aforementioned type is known, for example, from WO
[0007] 2015 / 014802 A1, wherein pre-proportioned portions of a swab wound into a roll are provided in a sealable housing. The portions can be removed from the housing through a sealable housing opening. As already mentioned, such dispenser boxes are designed for stationary use and are not suitable for mobile use.
[0008] FR 2 696 433 A1 discloses a dispenser for a fixation plaster that can be torn off by hand along a cutting edge without any tools. However, the fixation plaster does not include a wound pad and is intended solely for securing bandages and wound dressings. The dispenser housing is open, and at least one end of the fixation plaster is exposed and thus not protected from contamination.
[0009] The object of the invention is to propose a dispenser which contains dressing material and which can be easily taken along in a trouser pocket, handbag or luggage while at the same time reliably protecting the dressing material from soiling and damage. This object is achieved by a mobile wound treatment set which comprises a band-shaped product with a carrier material which is divided into several segments, wherein an adhesively coated layer is arranged in each segment and each segment comprises at least one further layer. Furthermore, the set comprises a housing which receives the band-shaped product and has a removal opening and a tear-off element. In addition, the set comprises a closure cap which can be transferred from a first position in which the closure cap closes the housing, to a second position in which the housing is open. The volume of a space enclosed by the housing and the closure cap in the first position is less than 500 cm. 3 . The strip-shaped product, the dispensing opening and the tear-off element are completely enclosed by the housing and the closure cap when the closure cap is in the first position .
[0010] The wound treatment set according to the invention allows for easy transport of the band-shaped product and at the same time ensures that the band-shaped product is protected from contamination and crumpling due to pressure. Because when the housing is closed, i.e. when the closure cap is in the first position, the volume of the enclosed space is less than 500 cm 3The wound treatment kit can be easily stored in a trouser pocket, backpack, or luggage. At the same time, the band-shaped product stored in the case is protected from dirt and damage by the case and the cap in the first position.
[0011] It can be provided that the housing consists of two housing halves. The two housing halves are preferably pivotally connected to one another via a hinge, in particular a film hinge. These two housing halves allow the housing to be opened or folded open and the band-shaped product can be easily removed and reinserted. This ensures that the wound treatment set can be refilled. Because the housing can be folded open, it is easy to clean, in particular by wiping it down, but also to clean it, for example, in a dishwasher or in a disinfectant bath. After cleaning is complete or after the band-shaped product has been fitted, the two housing halves can be easily put back together. This ensures reusability and meets the demand for sustainable systems. In addition, costs can be reduced by reusing the housing and the closure cap. Particularly preferably, the closure cap can be fixedly or detachably connected to the housing so that it can pivot about a pivot axis, preferably via a hinge, e.g., a film hinge, but also a conventional hinge with a pin around which the closure cap can rotate.
[0012] Depending on the design of the housing, e.g., whether it is made of plastic or metal, and the corresponding manufacturing process, the hinge can be designed differently. If the housing is made of plastic, the closure cap can be connected to the housing via a film hinge and manufactured together with it.
[0013] It is important that the material of the housing and cap is, on the one hand, sturdy enough to withstand external pressure, such as that which might occur during transport in a bag. On the other hand, the material must be sufficiently light so that the wound treatment kit can be carried comfortably.
[0014] Particularly preferably, the housing is manufactured from plastic using an injection molding process. The housing can also be molded integrally with the closure cap using the injection molding process. This allows for cost-effective production of the housing, or the housing with the closure cap, with a minimal number of manufacturing steps.
[0015] By definition, the closure cap should not be considered as part of the housing, regardless of how the housing and closure cap are connected to each other.
[0016] The closure cap can preferably be secured in the housing in a form-fitting manner, in particular it can be secured in a latching manner. Furthermore, a magnetic connection or a detachable, material-sealed connection, e.g., adhesive, can be provided.
[0017] However, a positive, particularly locking, connection is preferred. In this case, locking elements can be provided that engage in openings or behind undercuts of the other component. Locking or unlocking can then be achieved by elastic deformation of a section of the closure cap, which can engage behind an undercut of the housing.
[0018] A clamping connection, in which the parts are deformed for connection and can be secured to one another under tension, is also conceivable. Furthermore, the removal opening can be slightly larger than the cross-section of the strip-shaped product. This ensures that the removal opening allows easy removal of the strip-shaped product, but at the same time, the strip-shaped product, which is still in the housing, is optimally protected against the ingress of dust.
[0019] The strip-shaped product can be stored in the housing in roll form. Storing it on a roll within the housing facilitates the removal of sections of the strip-shaped product. Once the strip-shaped product is used up, a consumer can easily insert a new, provided strip-shaped product in roll form into the housing. It is advantageous if the roll of the strip-shaped product is pre-cut to the correct size and can therefore be inserted precisely into the housing.
[0020] In a further embodiment of the invention, a spool can be provided to stabilize the roll, onto which the strip-shaped product is wound. This ensures that the strip-shaped product retains its shape in roll form and can be manufactured easily. Furthermore, the spool facilitates insertion of the strip-shaped product into the housing.
[0021] The coil can be made entirely or partially of plastic, or preferably of paper or cardboard. If the coil is made of paper or cardboard, which is preferred, a certain degree of sustainability can be ensured when refilling the wound treatment kit.
[0022] In a preferred embodiment, the tape-shaped product in roll form or the tape-shaped product on the spool has an outer diameter of max. 80 mm, preferably 60 mm, and particularly preferably 40 mm. This ensures a small outer dimension of the wound treatment set and easy placement of the tape-shaped product in the housing.
[0023] The band-shaped product in roll form or the band-shaped product on the spool can have a width of 5 mm to 40 mm, preferably from 10 mm to 35 mm and particularly preferably from 16 mm to 30 mm. This also allows for a small external dimension of the wound treatment set as well as easy placement of the band-shaped
[0024] The product is secured in the housing. Preferably, the housing contains an axle onto which the strip-shaped product can be attached. It is irrelevant whether the strip-shaped product is in roll form or stored on a spool.
[0025] According to the invention, the "volume of the space enclosed by the housing and the closure cap in the first position" is understood to mean the total volume of the wound treatment set. If the closure cap is in the first position, i.e. on the housing, so that the housing together with the closure cap forms an enclosed space, the band-shaped product, the removal opening and the tear-off element are located within the space formed by the closure cap and the housing.
[0026] The volume of the space enclosed in the housing and the closure cap in the first position can be < 500 cm 3 , preferably < 300 cm 3 and particularly preferably < 250 cm 3 Usually the volume is at least 50 cm 3This ensures that, on the one hand, sufficient band-shaped product can be contained in the wound treatment set and, on the other hand, the wound treatment set can be conveniently carried by a user and used on the move. In particular, it is intended that the housing is equipped with a
[0027] The wound treatment set can be almost completely grasped by a user's hand. This allows the user to easily hold it in one hand and, for example, open the cap and remove the band-shaped product with the other hand.
[0028] To further simplify holding, grip recesses can be formed on the housing. Preferably, the grip recesses can be formed on two opposite sides of the housing, so that the housing cannot easily slip out of the user's hand.
[0029] The recessed grips also make it easier to open the housing for refilling. For this purpose, the two housing halves can be swung apart or separated. This exposes the interior of the housing, allowing a new strip-shaped product to be inserted into the housing. The strip-shaped product can preferably be inserted onto the axle in roll form. If necessary, a spool remaining on the axle can be removed beforehand.
[0030] Alternatively, the band-shaped product can be stacked. For this purpose, the band-shaped product is folded in the middle between two segments so that the individual segments lie on top of each other in a stack. The shape of the band-shaped product then corresponds to a compressed "S". With this alternative embodiment, the axis in the housing can be omitted. This is advantageous because with the stacked band-shaped product, the spool is also omitted, which leads to a reduction in the weight of the wound treatment set and to cost savings in the provision of the band-shaped product.
[0031] A further advantage of the wound treatment kit according to the invention is that the housing can be opened manually for refilling without any tools. This can lead to high user acceptance.
[0032] In the context of this invention, the term "mobile" is understood to mean movable, portable or wearable. The mobility leads to the wound treatment kit being available "ready for use" at any location, since everything required for rapid treatment of small wounds is included in the wound treatment kit and no additional components, such as scissors, are required.
[0033] In a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, it can be provided that a resilient fixing element is arranged on the housing, wherein the resilient fixing element protrudes beyond the removal opening. The resilient fixing element prevents the person removing the band-shaped product from coming into contact with the band-shaped product that has not yet been removed. If, for example, a part of the band-shaped product is to be torn off from the rest of the band-shaped product, the rest of the band-shaped product must normally be held by the person removing it so that a section of the band-shaped product can be torn off.By providing the resilient fixing element, the person removing a section of the strip-shaped product from the housing can press it against the strip-shaped product remaining beneath the fixing element, so that the strip-shaped product is pressed against the housing by means of the fixing element. The strip-shaped product can thus be clamped firmly between a side surface of the housing and the resilient fixing element or releasably fixed by means of the fixing element, so that it can be held and thus counter-held when a piece of the strip-shaped product is torn off from the remaining strip-shaped product, without contaminating the remaining strip-shaped product through contact with the hand.
[0034] The fact that the fixing element protrudes beyond the removal opening also prevents dirt from penetrating the housing through the removal opening. The fixing element can also extend beyond the removal opening and along the side surface (also called the narrow side) of the housing in order to cover a strip-shaped product that has already been pulled out of the housing through the removal opening. Thus, by adjusting the length of the fixing element, the protective effect on the strip-shaped product pulled out of the housing can be varied and the guide formed by the narrow side and the fixing element can be optimally adjusted.
[0035] In order to increase the fixing effect, the fixing element can have a projection, in particular a rib, a web, a nose or a knob, wherein the projection interacts with a section of the housing opposite it.
[0036] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the fixing element can be designed as a spring tab. For this purpose, conventional elements such as weakened sections or wave-shaped portions can be provided in the fixing element.
[0037] To make it easier to open the closure cap, it can be provided that this is in the area facing away from the hinge and / or that the housing is in the area facing away from the hinge
[0038] Area has a handle. The handle can protrude from the surface of the closure flap, e.g., at a right angle or at another suitable angle. Alternatively, the handle can also be designed as a recessed grip, ribbing, rubber coating, or handle opening.
[0039] It can be particularly preferably provided that the housing is cuboid-shaped, whereby cuboid here is understood to mean not only strictly cuboid-shaped housings, but also those with arched or curved side surfaces, also referred to as housing surfaces, and rounded or oblique transitions between the housing surfaces. The curvature can run uniformly over the entire surface, but designs are also conceivable in which individual surfaces transition from curved to flat designs. In particular, a cuboid shape should also be understood to mean a shape in which the angles are all or partly not strictly 90 degrees.
[0040] The tear-off element arranged on the housing is preferably arranged on the same side surface of the housing as the removal opening. In particular, it is preferred that the tear-off element is provided near an edge of the housing. The tear-off element serves to pull out band-shaped
[0041] The product can be torn off by pulling it over the tear-off element. One end of the strip-shaped product can be guided through the removal opening of the housing and pulled out of the housing in a removal direction, wherein the removal direction corresponds to the longitudinal direction of the strip-shaped product.
[0042] In one embodiment of the invention, the tear-off element is designed as a web on the housing. In a further preferred embodiment, the tear-off element can be designed as a cutting edge or can comprise a cutting element on a free-standing side, i.e., on the side with which the tear-off element does not rest against the housing. This can simplify the separation of a section or segment of the carrier material from the strip-shaped product by the user, in that the strip-shaped product is cut through by the cutting edge or the cutting element.
[0043] Advantageously, a fixing means is provided in the housing via which a slight force acts on the band-shaped product so that it is somewhat fixed in the housing. This serves to ensure that the band-shaped product cannot move back and forth in the housing or unroll on its own if it is in a roll. At the same time, when the band-shaped product is pulled out of the removal opening, a slight resistance is applied against the direction of pull, so that precise removal is possible. The force is set so that the band-shaped product can still be pulled out easily, but slipping back into the housing is prevented.
[0044] Preferably, the fixing means is designed as clamping webs on the axle. Alternatively, a spring element can be provided on the inner surface of the housing, which clamps between the inner surface of the housing and the strip-shaped product and thus presses against the strip-shaped product.
[0045] According to the invention, the carrier material is segmented. Segmentation can be achieved, for example, by visible lines, perforations, or weakenings. However, a repeated sequence of different sections of the band-shaped product, such as spaced-apart wound pads or the sequence of adhesive layers, also represents segmentation according to the invention.
[0046] Preferably, the individual segments of the carrier material are connected to each other in the transverse direction via small webs, or by
[0047] Perforations separate them. The band-shaped product for wound care is, in particular, a dressing material. The dressing material is preferably a wound dressing or plaster.
[0048] According to the invention, a further layer is understood to be any layer that can typically be provided in a wound dressing. Examples include cover paper, release liners, other carrier materials such as fabrics, paper, films or nonwovens, hydrogels, cohesive, adhesive or absorbent layers, and silicone coatings. In a preferred embodiment, an absorbent wound pad is provided as the further layer.
[0049] Preferably, the adhesive-coated layer is the same in each segment. Thus, the band-shaped product can preferably be a series of a plurality of individual wound dressings, which can be wound as a roll or stored as a stack in the housing.
[0050] Preferably, the at least one further layer is the same in each segment. Thus, the band-shaped product can preferably be a series of a plurality of identical wound dressings. In a preferred embodiment, the band-shaped
[0051] Product a sequence of a large number of individual wound dressings which are connected to one another at their narrow side, i.e. in the transverse direction of the band-shaped product.
[0052] In a further preferred embodiment, the wound dressings are individually blistered. In this embodiment, the individual segments of the longitudinally extending, band-shaped product are individually packaged plasters. The further layer covers the adhesive-coated layer in each segment. In the edge region, i.e., in an area where there is no adhesive-coated layer, the further layer is connected to the carrier material and thus forms a pocket that encompasses and encloses the adhesive-coated layer. Other additional layers can also be provided.
[0053] According to a particularly preferred embodiment, the strip-shaped product comprises the longitudinally extending carrier material. The adhesively coated layers are arranged on this material in a repetitive and spaced-apart manner in each segment. In each segment, a further layer in the form of a wound pad is arranged on the adhesively coated layer. The carrier material can be perforated between the individual sections.
[0054] In a further embodiment of the invention, any cover paper or release liner provided may be at least partially adhesive on its surface facing away from the strip-shaped product. This enables stable rolling of the strip-shaped product.
[0055] The carrier material can have 10 to 50, preferably 20 to 30 segments. The number of individual segments determines the outer diameter of the wound strip-like product. Therefore, the number of segments must be selected such that, on the one hand, the outer diameter of the roll of the strip-like product is not too large or too heavy, and, on the other hand, the strip-like product comprises enough segments to allow sufficient strip-like product to be stored in the housing.
[0056] Suitable carrier materials according to the invention are films, paper, fabrics and nonwovens.
[0057] The adhesive-coated layer may comprise coatings known from the prior art with adhesive properties suitable for wound dressings. Preferably, the adhesive layer is coated with a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) or
[0058] Coated with a hot-melt adhesive, for example, based on synthetic rubber or acrylate. Silicone-based adhesive coatings can also be used. The adhesive layer can be fully or partially coated. This depends on the intended use of the tape-shaped product. The adhesive layer is usually coated on one side.
[0059] In a preferred embodiment, the side of the adhesive layer facing a wound in the use state is adhesively coated so that it can be adhered to the skin of a patient.
[0060] The invention, as well as further advantageous embodiments and developments thereof, are described and explained in more detail below with reference to the examples shown in the drawings. The features shown in the description and the drawings can be used individually or in any combination according to the invention.

[0069] Figure 10 is a perspective view of another embodiment of the band-shaped product.
[0070] Figure 1 shows an embodiment of a housing 3 of the wound treatment set 1 according to the invention. The housing 3 preferably consists of two pluggable housing halves 3a and 3b, wherein the connection of the housing halves 3a and 3b can be achieved by any suitable means, such as by plugging them together and then snapping them into place. The housing halves 3a and 3b are preferably pivotally connected to one another via a hinge 7, in particular via a film hinge.
[0071] A closure cap 6 is pivotally connected to the housing 3, either fixedly or detachably, as shown in Figure 1, in particular via a film hinge 9. If the housing 3 and the closure cap 6 are formed in one piece, for example by injection molding, the closure cap 6 is molded onto one of the two housing halves 3a or 3b via the film hinge 9. The housing 3 has two opposing recessed grips 2, which a user can engage with the fingers of one hand and thus grasp the housing 3 with one hand.
[0072] A hollow hub or axle 4 for the strip-shaped product 10, which is wound into a roll or spooled onto a reel 18 (Fig. 5), is mounted centrally in the housing 3. The axle 4 also consists of two parts, each part being molded, for example, with the corresponding housing part 3a, 3b. The connection between the two parts of the axle 4 is also made by suitable means once the housing parts 3a, 3b are assembled.
[0073] The removal opening 8 extends in a slot-like manner over the narrow side 16 of the housing 3, ie parallel to the course of the axis 4. The removal opening 8 is slightly wider than the strip-shaped product 10, so that the strip-shaped product 10 can be guided out of the housing 3 through the removal opening 8.
[0074] A resilient fixing element 20 is arranged above the removal opening 8 and covers the removal opening 8. The fixing element 20 runs parallel to and at a distance from the narrow side 16 of the housing 3 and extends at least over the removal opening 8, preferably at least over half of the narrow side of the housing 3. This serves to prevent dirt from getting onto the strip-shaped product 10, which has already been pulled out of the housing 3 through the removal opening 8, and ensures that one end of the strip-shaped product is always accessible by fixing the end of the strip-shaped product in its existing position.
[0075] The fixing element 20 is spaced from the outer side of the narrow side 16 such that the strip-shaped product 10 can be guided between the narrow side 16 and the fixing element 20. The distance thus corresponds to at least the greatest thickness of the strip-shaped product. The greatest thickness is located at the point where the carrier material 11, the adhesively coated layer 13, and the at least one further layer 12 lie on top of one another.
[0076] A cutting element 50 is attached to the tear-off element 5, which is located on the same narrow side 16 as the removal opening 8, but on an edge of the housing 3. The cutting element 50 consists of a 45° angled blade pointing away from the housing.
[0077] Cutting edge, e.g., a toothing. Figure 2 shows the wound treatment set 1 according to the invention, wherein the housing halves 3a and 3b are joined together to form the housing 3. The closure cap 6 is in the second position; the housing 3 is thus open, and the removal opening 8, the band-shaped product 10, and the tear-off element 5 are not covered by the closure cap 6.
[0078] The functioning of the wound treatment set 1 according to the invention is explained below with reference to Figure 2.
[0079] When the closure cap 6 is in the second, i.e., open, position, the user can grasp the free-standing end of the strip-shaped product 10 with his fingers and pull the strip-shaped product 10 further out of the removal opening 8. The strip-shaped product 10 is stored in roll form in the housing 3.
[0080] The housing 3 can be held with one hand at the grip recesses 2 and the strip-shaped product 10 can then be pulled out of the housing 3 by the length of a segment 14 with the fingers of the other hand, so that a segmentation line 17, which divides the carrier material 11 into the individual segments 14, comes to lie above the tear-off element 5. Thus, a first segment 14A lies outside the area between the closure cap 6 and the narrow side 16 of the housing 3 and the
[0081] Segment 14B is located above the narrow side 16 .
[0082] If one now wishes to separate the segment 14A, the resilient fixing element 20 is pressed down so that the strip-shaped product 10 is clamped in the region of the segment 14B between the narrow side 16 and the fixing element 20. The segment 14A is then separated by the cutting element 50 in the usual manner.
[0083] Once the separation or severing is complete, the closure cap 6 can be moved into the first position, so that the housing 3 is closed and the band-shaped product 10, the removal opening 8, and the tear-off element 5 are completely enclosed by the housing 3 and the closure cap 6. Thus, the band-shaped product 10 is protected from contamination, and the wound treatment set 1 can be stored in a bag again.
[0084] Figure 3 shows an alternative embodiment of the wound treatment set 1, wherein the closure cap 6 is removed. In this embodiment, the closure cap 6 can be completely removed from the housing 3. The basic shape of the housing 3 is round. A projection is arranged at the removal opening 8, which at its free-standing end has the tear-off element
[0085] 5 with the cutting element 50. The axis 4 is designed as a hollow cylinder and is continuous between the two housing halves 3a and 3b. This has the advantage that the user can put a finger through the hollow cylinder 4 to hold it. To tear off a segment 14 of the band-shaped product 10, the housing 3 can be fixed in the hollow cylinder 4 with a finger and the band-shaped product 10 can be pulled out of the housing until one of the segmentation lines 17 comes to lie over the tear-off element 5. The segment 14 pulled out of the wound treatment set 1 can be severed by counterpressure using the finger in the hollow cylinder 4, for example by a rotating movement of the housing 3.
[0086] In Figure 4, the closure cap 6 is placed on the housing 3 of the wound treatment set 1 from Figure 3, i.e. it is in the first position. Usually, the closure cap
[0087] 6 is clamped onto the housing 3 using suitable locking means (not shown).
[0088] Figure 5 shows a schematic section through the wound treatment set 1 according to the invention. The band-shaped product 10 is wound on a spool 18. The spool 18 is placed on the axis 4 and is rotatable on the axis 4. Preferably, the spool
[0089] 18 made of paper or cardboard, since a reel made of paper or cardboard is lightweight and can be produced sustainably and cost-effectively.
[0090] The strip-shaped product 10 is laid in the housing 3 in such a way that it extends out of the housing 3 through the removal opening 8 below the fixing element 20. The strip-shaped product 10 runs parallel to the narrow side 16 up to the tear-off element 5, where it can be shortened by means of the cutting element 50. The closure cap 6 closes the housing 3 and completely covers the fixing element 20, the segment 14 protruding from the housing 3, and the tear-off element 5.
[0091] Figure 5 shows that the projection 21 of the fixing element 20 can be pressed against the section 22 to tear off a segment 14, thus clamping the strip-shaped product 10 between the fixing element 20 and the narrow side 16 of the housing 3. The projection 21 serves to concentrate the force exerted on the fixing element 20 at a single point.
[0092] Figure 5 further shows the band-shaped product 10 wound in roll form on the reel 18. The reel comprises a plurality of segments 14, each segment 14 representing a single
[0093] Wound dressing, preferably a plaster. In this embodiment, the carrier material 11 has 25 individual segments 14, thus comprising 25 individual plasters. However, 10 to 50, preferably 20 to 30 segments 14 are also possible.
[0094] The outer diameter D of the band-shaped product 10 in roll form is in the unused state, i.e. when no segment 14 has been torn off, up to 80 mm, preferably up to 60 mm and particularly preferably up to 40 mm.
[0095] Figure 6 shows an alternative embodiment of the wound treatment set 1 according to Figure 5. The structure of the housing 3 and the other components of the wound treatment set 1 are almost identical to the embodiment in Figure 5. However, the strip-shaped product 10 is not in roll form, but is folded along the segmentation lines 17, so that the individual segments 14 are stored as a stack in the housing 3. In this embodiment, there is preferably no axle 4 in the housing 3, since an axle could make it more difficult to pull the strip-shaped product 10 out of the housing 3. Alternatively, a guide element can be provided (not shown) which makes it easier to pull out the individual segments 14 by positioning the segments 14 in such a way that they do not get stuck when sliding through the removal opening 8.
[0096] The stack of the strip-shaped product 10 is formed in such a way that after a first segment 14-1, viewed in the longitudinal direction (wherein the removal direction corresponds to the longitudinal direction of the strip-shaped product 10), the strip-shaped product 10 is bent along the segmentation line 17 and thus a subsequent segment 14-2 lies on the segment 14-1 essentially opposite to the longitudinal direction of the first segment 14-1. In this case, either two adhesively coated layers 13 lie on top of one another with their uncoated sides or two segments 14 with the carrier material 11 always lie alternately.
[0097] Figure 7 shows a perspective view of the fixing element 20. In the embodiment shown, the fixing element 20 is designed as a spring tab made of plastic. In order to improve the spring effect, the fixing element 20 has a wave-shaped section 25 near the area that is formed on the housing 3. At the free-standing end of the fixing element 20, a recess 26 is provided, which serves as a guide for the finger or thumb of the
[0098] user. Figure 8 shows a section of a first embodiment of the band-shaped product 10. The adhesively coated layer 13 is applied at regular intervals in the segments 14 of the carrier material 11, so that the adhesive-coated layer 13 lies with its adhesive side on the carrier material 11. Each adhesive layer 13 has a further layer 12 centrally on the adhesive side. Between every two adhesive layers 13 there is a segmentation line 17 which divides the carrier material 11 transversely to the longitudinal direction of the band-shaped product 10 into the individual segments 14. The segmentation line 17 is designed as slit-shaped perforations in the carrier material 11. In Figure 8, the further layers 12 are designed as absorbent wound pads.
[0099] In general, the distance between the individual adhesive layers
[0100] 13 in the segments 14 so that a single segment
[0101] 14 can be separated from the remaining band-shaped product 10 without damaging the adhesive layer 13 thereon.
[0102] The segmentation lines 17 can also be printed lines or other patterns (e.g., dots) and serve to indicate to the user where the carrier material can be cut or severed without the risk of damaging the adhesive layers 13. Preferably, the segmentation lines 17 run centrally between two adhesive layers 13, so that each segment 14 has the same size. Lines woven into the carrier material 11 or differently designed patterns that differ visually or haptically from the actual carrier material 11 can also serve as indicators.
[0103] The further embodiment of the band-shaped product 10 according to Figure 9 is fundamentally constructed in the same way as the band-shaped product 10 according to Figure 8. However, in the section through the band-shaped product 10, the carrier material 11 is not continuous, but consists of individual, partially overlapping sections. The sections of the carrier material 11 overlap in the area of the wound pad 12. In the remaining areas, the carrier material 11 lies - if possible - directly on the adhesive surface of the adhesively coated layer 13. This creates a continuous band of carrier material 11. A carrier material 11 designed in this way serves as a cover paper or release liner. Since two overlapping sections of the carrier material 11 are present in each segment 14, after a segment 14 has been separated from the band-shaped product 10, the overlapping sections can easily be attacked and the
[0104] Carrier material 11 can be removed. Figure 10 shows a further embodiment of the band-shaped
[0105] Product 10. This essentially corresponds to the embodiment of the strip-shaped product 10 from Figure 8, but a second further layer 15 in the form of a release paper is additionally provided. This completely covers the adhesively coated layer 13 in each segment 14. In the edge region, i.e. in an area in which there is no adhesively coated layer 13, the second further layer 15 is connected to the carrier material 11 and thus forms a pocket which encloses the adhesively coated layer. Such a pocket is also referred to as a "peel pouch". The second further layer 15 in this embodiment can be at least partially adhesively or cohesively coated on its side facing the carrier material 11 in order to ensure adhesion to the carrier material 11. The second further layer 15 is transparent, so that the adhesively coated layer 13 is visible in the pocket.
[0106] The individual segments 14 are separably connected to one another at the segmentation line 17. For this purpose, predetermined tear points in the form of perforations running transversely to the longitudinal axis of the band-shaped product 10 are introduced into the carrier material 11 and the second further layer 15. With such a configuration of the segmentation, the cutting element 50 can be attached to the tear-off element
[0107] 5 are omitted.
