Flashng bottle pourer

A lighted bottle pourer has a standard shape and size top spout and lower stopper base. The bottle pourer is inserted into the top of a liquor bottle. Inside the top spout is a circuit board having two small liquid activated leads that stick out into the central pouring tube. The circuit board containing the electronics also has two LEDs that protrude through a reflective ring and a power supply of batteries. When liquid is poured from the bottle, through the spout and out of the top, the liquid activated leads cause the electrical circuit to be energized and light up the LEDs. When the bartender is finished pouring out the liquor, the leads return the electronic circuit to the open position and the LEDs are shut off.

Tamper evident multiple door closure

A server lid for a container with an integral tear strip tamper evident feature is presented. A tear strip for the tamper evident feature is molded as an adjunct to a base member which forms the closure. The tear strip is joined to the base by at least one frangible web, and hinges about the frangible web to overlie front edges of one or more flaps formed in the server lid. Ultrasonic welds connect the overlying tear strip to the flaps or adjacent the flaps for providing a tamper evident feature. The shape of the server lid provides stackability in that the base rim of the container will fit over the upper portion of the lid, including frangible webs to allow interfitting of one container bottom with the container closure of the next, to allow the containers to be stacked on a shelf without substantial danger of slipping or tipping.

Dispensing device for dispensing a liquid product

A dispensing device (1) for dispensing a liquid product from a container is disclosed. The dispensing device (1) comprises a first chamber (12) and a second chamber (13), an inlet passage (4) establishing a fluid connection between the first chamber (12) and an interior part of a container having the dispensing device (1) mounted thereon, and an outlet passage (8) adapted to deliver liquid product being dispensed by means of the dispensing device (1), via the second chamber (13). An intermediate wall (11) divides an interior part of the dispensing device (1) into the first chamber (12) and the second chamber (13), the intermediate wall (11) being curved or inclined in such a manner that an intermediate passage (14) between the first chamber (12) and the second chamber (13) is defined at the position of an edge (15) of the intermediate wall (11), and in such a manner that the edge (15) protrudes in a direction towards the first chamber (12). Thereby liquid product is prevented from leaving the first chamber (12) via the intermediate passage (14) when the dispensing device (1) is tipped, and a very precise dosing is obtained. Furthermore, ‘glugging’ is prevented.
