Claims

Claims 1. A transport container (1) for the manual transport of prepared or unprepared foodstuffs, comprising a housing (3) defining an interior space (2), the housing (3) comprising a base part (4) and a lid part (5), wherein, when the housing (3) is in a closed state, the base part (4) and the lid part (5) are connected to one another in a force-transmitting manner such that the interior space (2) is closed in a manner inaccessible to manual access, the lid part (5) being movable relative to the base part (4) for transferring the housing (3) from the closed state to an open state, thereby releasing the interior space (2) for manual access, the base part (4) having, on an underside (6) facing away from the interior space (2), a base connection device (8) for positively connecting the base part (4) to a complementary connection device,wherein the lid part (5) has, on an upper side (7) facing away from the interior (2), a lid connecting device (9) for positively connecting the lid part (5) to a complementary connecting device, wherein the bottom connecting device (8) and the lid connecting device (9) are designed to be complementary to one another, so that the bottom connecting device (8) of a bottom part (4) of a transport container (1) can interact positively with a lid connecting device (9) of a lid part (5) of another transport container (1), characterized by a carrying handle (10) arranged centrally on the upper side (7) of the lid part (5) and fastened to the lid part (5), wherein the lid part (5) has, in the region of the carrying handle (10), a grip recess (11) surrounding the carrying handle (10) on the side facing the lid part (5), so that the carrying handle (10) is free for manual grasping.

2. Transport container (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that the carrying handle (10) is at least substantially flush with the upper side (7) of the lid part (5).

3. Transport container (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the lid connecting device (9) is arranged further outwardly on the upper side (7) of the lid part (5) with respect to the carrying handle (10).

4. Transport container (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the carrying handle (10) is designed in the form of a, preferably curved, bar which is mounted at its two opposite ends in a force-transmitting manner on the lid part (5).

Transport container (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the lid connecting device (9) and the base connecting device (8) are designed to interact in the manner of a bayonet closure, wherein preferably both the lid connecting device (9) and the base connecting device (8) have part-circular ring-shaped connecting elements (17).

Transport container (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the base part (4) and the lid part (5) are connected to one another to form a film hinge (12), so that the lid part (5) can be pivoted about a pivot axis (13) defined by the film hinge (12) relative to the base part (4) and the transport container (1) can thereby be transferred between its closed state and its open state.

Transport container (1) according to claim 6, characterized by a closing device (14) which is formed on a side of the housing (3) facing away from the film hinge (12), wherein by means of the closing device (14) the cover part (5) and the base part (4) can be connected to one another by forming a positive connection when the transport container (1) is in its closed state.

8. Transport container (1) according to claim 7, characterized in that the closing device (14) is formed by a closing clip pivotably mounted on the lid part (5) or the base part (4).

Transport container (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the lid part (5) is formed by a base element (15) and a trough element (16), wherein the carrying handle (10) is fastened to the base element (15), wherein the trough element (16) is bowl-shaped and is arranged on the base element in such a way that the trough element (16) forms the handle recess (10) of the lid part (5).

10. Transport container (1) according to claim 9, characterized in that the base element (15) of the lid part (5), the carrying handle (10) and the base part (4) are formed in one piece, preferably manufactured by means of an injection molding process.

Transport container (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that both the lid part (5) and the base part (4) each have a rectangular or circular basic shape with circumferentially raised edges (18), so that the lid part (5) and the base part (4) each take on the shape of a rectangular bowl or a pot, wherein a total volume of the interior (2) of the transport container (1) in its closed state is formed by a sum of individual bowl volumes of the lid part (5) and the base part (4).

12. Transport container (1) according to claim 11, characterized in that the shell volumes of the lid part (5) and the base part (4) are at least substantially equal.

13. System comprising a plurality of identical transport containers (1), each designed according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a bottom connection device of a first transport container (1) of the system can be or is connected in a form-fitting manner to a complementarily designed lid connection device of a second transport container of the system.
