[0001] Pallet hood for palletized goods

[0002] The invention relates to a pallet hood, a method for producing the pallet hood and a use of the pallet hood.

[0003] It is already known to stack various goods on pallets for logistical reasons. This process is known to experts under the term "palletizing." Once palletized, goods can be easily stored and / or transported.

[0004] To protect palletized goods, they are typically wrapped in stretch film intended for single use. While this is a simple way to protect palletized goods, it results in large quantities of packaging materials that need to be disposed of, resulting in high disposal costs.

Patent claims 1. Pallet hood (10) for wrapping a palletized item (12), comprising a forming aid (14) by means of which a section (20) of the pallet hood (10) can be formed in the direction of an interior space (16) of the pallet hood (10).

2. Pallet hood (10) according to claim 1, characterized in that by means of the shaping aid (14) a lateral section (20) of the pallet hood (10) can be shaped in the direction of the interior space (16) of the pallet hood (10).

3. Pallet hood (10) according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the shaping aid (14) has a recess (18) in the pallet hood (10).

4. Pallet hood (10) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the forming aid (14) is formed by connecting two sections of the pallet hood (10).

5. Pallet hood (10) according to claim 4, characterized in that the two said sections are connected to one another in such a way that they form a triangular section (22) of the pallet hood (10).

Pallet hood (10) according to claim 5, characterized in that - the triangular section (22) is arranged in an interior space (16) of the pallet hood (10); - at least a part of the triangular section (22) is placed against an inner side (24) of the pallet hood (10) and fixed in this position; - at least one part of the triangular section (22) is applied to the inner side (24) of the pallet hood (10) and fixed in this position in such a way that a lateral section (20) of the pallet hood (10) is formed in the direction of the interior space (16) of the pallet hood (10) by means of the triangular section (22).

Pallet hood (10) according to one of claims 4 to 6, characterized in that - the two said sections of the pallet hood (10) are connected to one another along a connecting line (26), the extent of which in a circumferential direction (28) of the pallet hood (10) is shorter than a length of a lateral extent (30) of a pallet (32) underlying the palletized goods (12); - the extension of the connecting line (26) is preferably less than 50% of the said length of the lateral extension (30) of the pallet (32) and particularly preferably less than 25% of the said length of the lateral extension (30) of the pallet (32).

8. Pallet hood (10) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized by a holding device (34) by means of which the pallet hood (10) can be fixed in a state formed on the palletized goods (12).

9. Pallet hood (10) according to claim 8, characterized in that - the holding device (34) has at least one resealable quick-release fastener (36); - the holding device (34) engages over an upper edge (38) of the pallet hood (10).

Pallet hood (10) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that - a tunnel arrangement (40) is provided; - at least a portion of a tensioning device (42) is received in a tunnel (44, 46) of the tunnel arrangement (40); - the pallet hood (10) can be connected to the palletized goods (12) by means of a clamping device (42) accommodated in the tunnel arrangement (40); - at least one tunnel (44) of the tunnel arrangement (40) is arranged along a circumferential direction (28) of the pallet hood (10); - at least one further tunnel (46) is arranged transversely to the circumferential direction (28), preferably substantially perpendicular to the circumferential direction (28).

Pallet hood (10) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that - a gripping device (48) is provided by means of which the pallet hood (10) can be gripped for the purpose of reshaping the same; - the handle device (48) is arranged on one side of the pallet hood (10) which is provided for the purpose of enveloping an upper side of the palletized goods (12); - the handle device (48) is formed by a seam allowance.
