Description

HARQ-ACK CODEBOOK CONSTRUCTION AND FEEDBACK METHOD, APPARATUS, AND COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUMTECHNICAL FIELD

[0001] This disclosure is generally related to wireless communication, and more particularly to communication of an HARQ-ACK codebook.BACKGROUND

[0002] Wireless communication technologies are pivotal components of the increasingly interconnecting global communication networks. Wireless communications rely on accurately allocated time and frequency resources for transmitting and receiving wireless signals. HARQ-ACK (Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request-ACKnowledgement) codebook is a technique used in wireless communication systems to improve the reliability of data transmission over noisy channels. TDD (Time Division Duplex) is one of the two duplexing modes used in 5G wireless communication systems. In TDD mode, the same frequency band is used for both uplink and downlink transmissions, but they are separated in time. This means that the transmission and reception of data occur at different times on the same frequency band, allowing for the efficient use of available spectrum.SUMMARY

[0003] This summary is a brief description of certain aspects of this disclosure. It is not intended to limit the scope of this disclosure.

[0005] According to some embodiments of this disclosure, another wireless communication method is disclosed. The method includes sending, to user equipment (UE) , at least one piece of slot location information for determining at least one first slot corresponding to a HARQ- ACK codebook to be transmitted in a second slot used; sending, to the UE, at least one PDSCH configuration for generating the HARQ-ACK codebook according to the at least one first slot and PDSCH candidate resources of the at least one first slot corresponding to the at least one PDSCH configuration; and receiving the HARQ-ACK codebook in a UL transmission resource from the second slot.

[0006] Still another embodiment of this disclosure provides a wireless communication apparatus, including one or more memory units storing one or more programs and one or more processors electrically coupled to the one or more memory units and configured to execute the one or more programs to perform any method or step or their combinations in this disclosure.

[0017] 1. Subbands and Time Division Duplex Systems

[0018] In order to improve coverage, delay and capacity of uplink (UL) transmission in TDD (Time Division Duplex) systems, the subband full-duplex technology is proposed. Exemplarily, a UL subband can be configured in a downlink (DL) symbol or DL slot or a flexible (F) symbol / slot. The UL subband can be configured based on resource blocks (RBs) set. A resource block (RB) is a fundamental unit of radio resources that is used for data transmission. An RB is a group of subcarriers in a specific time duration that is allocated to a user for data transmission or reception.

[0019] For example, in a TDD carrier of 100 MHz, 20 consecutive RBs in a DL BWP (Bandwidth Part) can be configured for a UL subband in the DL symbol / slot. A BWP is a contiguous block of RBs (Resource Blocks) that are allocated for data transmission and reception. A BWP can have different bandwidth and subcarrier spacing than the overall system bandwidth. The bandwidth and subcarrier spacing of a BWP can be configured based on the service requirements and the channel conditions. The system can support multiple BWPs simultaneously, each with its own configuration and set of resources. This way as shown in Figs. 1A and 1B, in the DL symbols / slots, the UL subband can be used for UL transmission, while the remaining RBs of the DL BWP in the DL symbols / slots can be used for DL reception. The remaining RBs resources can be referred to as DL subband.

[0020] Likewise, a DL subband configured in the UL symbol / slot is also proposed. For example, as shown in Fig. 2A and 2B, a DL subband can be configured in the UL symbols / slots. The DL subband can be configured based on resource blocks (RBs) collections. For example, in a TDD carrier of 100 MHz, 20 consecutive RBs in a UL BWP can be configured for a DL subband in the UL symbol / slot. Accordingly in the UL symbols / slots, the DL subband can be used for DL reception, while the remaining RBs of the UL BWP in the UL symbols / slots can be used for UL transmission. Here, the remaining RBs resources are referred to as UL subband.

[0021] 2. Construction of HARQ-ACK Codebook

[0022] An HARQ-ACK codebook is used in 5G wireless communication systems to improve the efficiency and reliability of hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) mechanisms. HARQ is a protocol used to ensure that data is transmitted and received correctly by detecting and correcting errors in the transmitted data. Exemplarily, in an HARQ-ACK codebook, the receiver (like a user equipment (UE) ) can uses a predefined set of codebooks to provide feedback to the transmitter (like a base station (BS) ) about the received data. The codebooks may exemplarily contain a set of predefined sequences that correspond to different channel conditions, such as good, moderate, and poor channel conditions.

[0023] Exemplarily, the construction of a semi-static HARQ-ACK codebook (or type1 HARQ-ACK codebook) can be based on the corresponding slots. For example, if a type1 HARQ-ACK codebook is configured to be transmitted in slot n, then the corresponding slots are determined based on slot n and a k1 set. For example, the setting of the k1 set can be configured by the BS via an RRC (radio resource control) signaling. Based on the setting of the k1 set and setting of a PDSCH, UE understands the slots corresponding to the type1 HARQ-ACK codebook to be transmitted at slot n includes slots n-k1. k1 set can be a set that includes at least one k1 value. The k1 value may represent the number of slots between the slot where PDSCH / PDCCH is located and the slot where the corresponding HARQ-ACK information is located. As shown in Fig. 3, the type1 HARQ-ACK codebook is transmitted in slot n. The k1 set includes {8, 9} for slot n-9 and slot n-8. Therefore, the corresponding slots for the type1 HARQ-ACK codebook at slot n are slot n-8 and slot n-9.

[0024] 3. PDSCH Group and Resource Selection

[0025] The type1 HARQ-ACK codebook can be constructed based on the PDSCH group in determined slots (such as slot n-8 and slot n-9) . The PDSCH group in a respective slot can be obtained based on a PDSCH candidate resource set (#1~#6 as shown in Fig. 4) and predefined rules as configured. Once the PDSCH group of a slot is determined, each PDSCH group corresponds to the HARQ-ACK information of m bits (where m generally equals 1) . Then, in each determined slot, the HARQ-ACK information in each PDSCH group can be concatenated based exemplarily on the order of the PDSCH group in the time domain to form the HARQ-ACK subgroup of a respective slot. Then, the HARQ-ACK information corresponding to each determined slot can be concatenated based on the order of the determined slots in the time  domain to obtain the type1 HARQ-ACK codebook.

[0026] For example, as shown in Fig. 4, a PDSCH candidate resource set containing six PDSCH candidate resources is configured. In the slot, the six PDSCH candidate resources include resources #1 to #6. The PDSCH group can be obtained based on rule as follows. In a slot (like slot n-8 or slot n-9) , a PDSCH candidate resource with the earliest ending symbol is determined (such as #1 in Fig. 4) , and the PDSCH candidate resources that overlap with the PDSCH candidate resource with the earliest ending symbol in the time domain is determined (such as #4 in Fig. 4) . The determined PDSCH candidate resources form a PDSCH group (such as a group of {#1, #4} ) . Then, the rule continues for the remaining PDSCH candidate resources (that is the remining resources, except for resources #1 and #4) in the slot until each PDSCH candidate resource is divided into the corresponding PDSCH groups. Following the process, four PDSCH groups can be obtained from the arrangement of Fig. 4, including {#1, #4} , {#2, #3} , {#5} , and {#6} .

[0027] 4. HARQ-ACK Codebook Transmission

[0028] If a UL subband is supported, then the UL subband and the UL BWP can be used for UL transmission in the system. The UL subband can be configured in DL symbols / slots (or in Flexible (F) symbol / slot) . The UL BWP can be configured in the UL symbols / slots (or in the F symbols / slots) . Likewise, the DL subband and the DL BWP can be used for DL reception in the system. The DL subband and the UL subband can be configured in the DL symbol / slot, and they are in the same symbol / slot. The DL BWP can be configured or determined in DL symbols / slots (or F symbols / slots) that is not configured with the UL subband / DL subband.

[0029] If a DL symbol / slot (or F symbol / slot) is configured with a DL subband or UL subband, then the DL BWP configured in the DL symbol / slot (or F symbol / slot) may be replaced by the DL subband for DL reception. Likewise, if a UL symbol / slot (or F symbol / slot) is configured with a UL subband or DL subband, then the UL BWP configured in the UL symbol / slot (or F symbol / slot) may be replaced by the UL subband for UL transmission.

[0030] For the convenience of description, a symbol / slot configured with the UL subband or DL subband is called a SBFD symbol / slot hereinafter. A symbol / slot that is not configured with the UL subband or DL subband is called the non-SBFD symbol / slot.

[0031] 4.1. Example 1: Shared PDSCH Candidate Resources and PUCCH Resource

[0032] In this example, a DL subband may share the same PDSCH candidate resource set  (e.g., the resource set as shown in Fig. 4) that is associated with a DL BWP. The same set of PDSCH candidate resources is associated with or configured for the DL BWP and the DL subband. The SBFD symbol / slot and non-SBFD symbol / slot may be associated with the same set of PDSCH candidate resources. For example, if a PDSCH candidate resource set is configured for a DL BWP, but a DL subband is not configured with a PDSCH candidate resource set, the default setting can be that the DL subband is associated with the PDSCH candidate resource set corresponding to the DL BWP, and vice versa. The PDSCH candidate resource set can be used for dynamically scheduled PDSCH and semi-statically configured PDSCH.

[0033] Furthermore, in this example, the UL subband may share at least one of the PUCCH resource set or k1 set, or both, corresponding to the UL BWP. The same PUCCH resource set or same k1 set, or both, can be configured both for the UL BWP and the UL subband. The SBFD symbols / slots and the non-SBFD symbols / slots can be configured with the same PUCCH resource set or k1 set or both. Alternatively or additionally, the UL subband and the UL BWP may be configured with the same k1 set, but with different PUCCH resource sets. Likewise, when a PUCCH resource set or k1 set is configured for the UL BWP but the UL subband is not configured with a PUCCH resource set or k1 set, under the default setting in this example, the UL subband can be associated with the PUCCH resource set or k1 set corresponding to the UL BWP.

[0034] 4.1.1. Construction of Type1 HARQ-ACK Codebook

[0035] If a type1 HARQ-ACK codebook is determined to be transmitted in slot n, the slots corresponding to the type1 HARQ-ACK codebook can be determined to be: slot (s) (n-k1) , where k1 is a set of value includes at least one number. For each slot in slots (n-k1) , based on the type of each slot, the valid PDSCH candidate resource can be determined from the PDSCH candidate resource set corresponding to the respective slot. Alternatively or additionally, based on the type of the each slot, the invalid PDSCH candidate resource can be determined from the PDSCH candidate resource set corresponding to the respective slot. The invalid PDSCH candidate resource can be deleted from the PDSCH candidate resource set corresponding to the slot to obtain the valid PDSCH candidate resource.

[0036] After the valid PDSCH candidate resource is obtained, one or more PDSCH candidate resource groups can be determined by applying the process disclosed in Section 3 of this  disclosure on the determined valid PDSCH candidate resources. The corresponding HARQ-ACK information for each PDSCH candidate resource group can be determined afterward accordingly. Then, the generated HARQ-ACK information can be concatenated based on the order of PDSCH candidate resource groups to obtain the concatenated HARQ-ACK information corresponding to each slot (n-k1) . The slots (n-k1) may include UL slot configured with the DL subband or the UL subband. The UL subband or the DL subband may includes the common UL subband / DL subband and the UE specific UL subband / DL subband.

[0037] In addition, the HARQ-ACK information of each slots to be reported at slot n can be concatenated according to at least one of the following approaches. According to some examples, between the slots (n-k1) , the HARQ-ACK information corresponding to each slot can be concatenated based on the type of the slots and the order of the slots. For example, the HARQ-ACK information corresponding to slots (n-k1) can be sorted based on the type of the respective slots, and then the HARQ-ACK information corresponding to the same type of slots can be concatenated according to the order of the slots of the same type. As an example, the HARQ-ACK information corresponding to the SBFD slots can be placed after (or before) the HARQ-ACK information corresponding to the non-SBFD slot type. Among each group, the HARQ-ACK information are sequenced according to the order of the corresponding slots.

[0038] Alternatively or additionally, the HARQ-ACK information of he slots (n-k1) can be concatenated based on the order of the slot without first being sorted by the type of the slots corresponding to the HARQ-ACK information. For example, for the slots (n-k1) , the HARQ-ACK information corresponding to each slot can be concatenated based on the order of each slot in the slot (n-k1) .

[0039] 4.1.2. PUCCH Resource for Transmission of the Codebook

[0040] The system may further determine what resource can be used to transmit the HARQ-ACK codebook in slot n. As an example, PUCCH resource can be determined from the PUCCH resource set corresponding to the slot n according to the PUCCH resource indicator (PRI) in the last DCI (Downlink Control Information) . For example, if the slot n is an SBFD slot, the PUCCH resource set corresponding to the slot n is the PUCCH resource set corresponding to the UL subband. Alternatively, if the slot n is a non-SBFD slot, then the PUCCH resource set corresponding to the slot n is the PUCCH resource set corresponding to the UL BWP. In this example, the UL subband and the UL BWP may share the same PUCCH resource set, so the  operation of determining the type of slot n can be skipped. The corresponding PUCCH resource set of slot n can be obtained directly.

[0041] The last DCI can be determined according to at least one of the following approaches. The first approach includes: Determining the slot type of the slot n to be used to reported the HARQ-ACK codebook; From the type1 HARQ-ACK codebook, determining the HARQ-ACK information corresponding to the slot type of slot n; and determining the last DCI from the pieces of DCI corresponding to the determined HARQ-ACK information. The determined last DCI can be used as the last DCI corresponding to the type1 HARQ-ACK codebook.

[0042] Alternatively, a second approach can be used, which includes determining the last DCI from the pieces of DCI corresponding to the HARQ-ACK information in the type1 HARQ-ACK codebook. The determined last DCI can be used as the last DCI corresponding to the type1 HARQ-ACK codebook. Briefly, this approach does not require determining the slot type of slot n.

[0043] 4.1.3. Determining Valid or Invalid PDSCH Candidate Resources

[0044] As explain above at Section 4.1.1, before determining the PDSCH candidate resource group for each slot, whose HARQ-ACK information is to be reported, the valid or invalid PDSCH candidate resources can be determined. The valid or invalid PDSCH candidate resources can be further determined from the original set of the PDSCH candidate resources according to at least one of the following rules:

[0045] Rule 0: For a slot that is not configured with the UL subband or DL subband, if a PDSCH candidate resource overlaps or partially overlaps with UL resource, the PDSCH candidate resource is an invalid PDSCH candidate resource. Otherwise, the PDSCH candidate resource is valid.

[0046] Rule 1: For a DL slot (or UL slot or flexible slot) configured with the UL subband or DL subband, if a PDSCH candidate resource overlaps or partially overlaps with a UL subband resource, the PDSCH candidate resource is an invalid PDSCH candidate resource. Otherwise, the PDSCH candidate resource is valid.

[0047] Rule 2: For a DL slot (or UL slot or flexible slot) configured with a UL subband or DL subband, if a PDSCH candidate resource overlaps or partially overlaps with at least one of a UL subband or a guard band resource, the PDSCH candidate resource is an invalid PDSCH candidate resource; Otherwise, the PDSCH candidate resource is valid.

[0048] Rule 3: For the DL slot (or UL slot or flexible slot) configured with a UL or DL subband, if a PDSCH candidate resource overlaps or partially overlaps with resources outside the DL subband, the PDSCH candidate resource is an invalid PDSCH candidate resource. Otherwise, the PDSCH candidate resource is valid.

[0049] Rule 4: For a DL slot (or UL slot or flexible slot) configured with a UL subband or DL subband, if a PDSCH candidate resource is within the resource of a DL subband, the PDSCH candidate resource is a valid PDSCH candidate resource. Otherwise, the PDSCH candidate resource is invalid.

[0050] Rule 5: For a DL slot (or UL slot or flexible slot) configured with a UL subband or DL subband, if a PDSCH candidate resource is within resource of a DL subband and / or a guard band, the PDSCH candidate resource is a valid PDSCH candidate resource. Otherwise, the PDSCH candidate resource is invalid.

[0051] Rule 6: For a DL slot (or UL slot or flexible slot) configured with a UL subband or DL subband, if a PDSCH candidate resource is within resource outside of resource of the UL subband and / or the guard band, the PDSCH candidate resource is a valid PDSCH candidate resource. Otherwise, the PDSCH candidate resource is invalid.

[0052] Rule 0-1: For a slot that is not configured with a UL subband or DL subband, if a PDSCH candidate resource is within the DL resource, the PDSCH candidate resource is a valid PDSCH candidate resource. Otherwise, the PDSCH candidate resource is invalid.

[0053] Rule 1-1: For a UL slot (or DL slot or flexible slot) configured with a UL subband or DL subband, if a PDSCH candidate resource overlaps or partially overlaps with resource of a UL subband, the PDSCH candidate resource is an invalid PDSCH candidate resource. Otherwise, the PDSCH candidate resource is valid.

[0054] Rule 2-1: For a UL slot (or DL slot or flexible slot) configured with a UL subband or DL subband, if a PDSCH candidate resource overlaps or partially overlaps with a resource of a UL subband and / or the guard band, the PDSCH candidate resource is an invalid PDSCH candidate resource. Otherwise, the PDSCH candidate resource is valid.

[0055] Rule 3-1: For a UL slot (or DL slot or flexible slot) configured with a UL subband or DL subband, if a PDSCH candidate resource overlaps or partially overlaps with resources outside of a DL subband, the PDSCH candidate resource is an invalid PDSCH candidate resource. Otherwise, the PDSCH candidate resource is valid.

[0056] Rule 4-1: For a UL slot (or DL slot or flexible slot) configured with the UL subband / DL subband, if a PDSCH candidate resource is within resources of a DL subband, the PDSCH candidate resource is a valid PDSCH candidate resource. Otherwise, the PDSCH candidate resource is invalid.

[0057] Rule 5-1: For a UL slot (or DL slot or flexible slot) configured with the UL subband or DL subband, if a PDSCH candidate resource is within resources of a DL subband and / or guard band, the PDSCH candidate resource is a valid PDSCH candidate resource. Otherwise, the PDSCH candidate resource is invalid.

[0058] Rule 6-1: For a UL slot (or DL slot or flexible slot) configured with a UL subband or DL subband, if a PDSCH candidate resource is within resources outside of resources of the UL subband and / or the guard band, the PDSCH candidate resource is a valid PDSCH candidate resource. Otherwise, the PDSCH candidate resource is invalid.

[0059] Rule 7: For a DL slot (or UL slot or flexible slot) configured with a UL subband or DL subband, if some symbols of a PDSCH candidate resource are in the resource of the DL subband and the other symbols are in the DL symbol (or DL BWP) , the PDSCH candidate resource (such as PDSCH #4 in the slot n-2 in Fig. 5 below) is valid. In addition, whether this kind of PDSCH candidate resources are valid may depend on whether a UE has a corresponding ability. For UE with the ability to support the reception of this kind of PDSCH resources, the PDSCH candidate resource is valid. Alternatively, for UE that does not have the ability to support the reception of this kind of PDSCH candidate resources, the PDSCH candidate resource is considered invalid. The information about the above capabilities can reported by UE to the BS.

[0060] Rule 8: For a DL slot (or UL slot or flexible slot) configured with a UL subband or DL subband, if some symbols of a PDSCH candidate resource are within the resources of the DL subband and / or the guard band, and the other symbols are within the DL symbol (or DL BWP) , then the PDSCH candidate resource (such as PDSCH #4 in the slot n-2 in Fig. 5) is valid. In addition, whether this kind of PDSCH candidate resource are valid may depend on whether a UE has a corresponding ability. For example, for UE with the ability to support the reception of the PDSCH candidate resource, the PDSCH candidate resource is valid. Alternatively, for UE that does not have the ability to support the reception of this PDSCH candidate resource, the PDSCH candidate resource is invalid. The information about the above capabilities is  reported by UE to the base station.

[0061] Rule 9: For a DL slot (or UL slot or flexible slot) configured with the UL subband or DL subband, if some symbols of a PDSCH candidate resource are within resources outside the resources of the UL subband and / or the guard band, and the other symbols are within the DL symbol (or DL BWP) , then the PDSCH candidate resource (such as PDSCH #4 in slot n-2 in Fig. 5) is valid. In addition, whether this kind of PDSCH candidate resource are valid may depend on whether a UE has a corresponding ability. For example, for UE with the ability to support the reception of the PDSCH candidate resource, the PDSCH candidate resource is valid. However, for UE that does not have the ability to support the reception of the PDSCH candidate resource, the PDSCH candidate resource is invalid. The information about the above capabilities is reported by UE to the base station.

[0062] The resource (s) in the above rules includes time-domain resources, frequency-domain resources, or time-frequency resources. Generally speaking, whether a PDSCH candidate resource is valid or invalid can be determined according to the location of the UL subband, DL suband, guard band, or DL / UL BWP relative to the location of the PDSCH candidate resource. A valid PDSCH candidate resource is generally locatesd at a resource compatible with downlink transmission, such as a DL suband, a DL BWP, and a guard band (less likely) .

[0063] 4.1.4. Determining PDSCH Candidate Resource Groups

[0064] Once the valid PDSCH candidate resource (s) is determined, one or more PDSCH candidate resource groups are determined based on the determined valid PDSCH candidate resource (s) according to the following approaches. In each of slots (n-k1) , the valid PDSCH candidate resources are used to construct one or more PDSCH candidate resource groups. The rules includes: Determining the PDSCH candidate resource with the earliest ending symbol from the valid PDSCH candidate resources; Determining one or more PDSCH candidate resources that overlap with the PDSCH candidate resource with the earliest ending symbol in the time domain; grouping the PDSCH candidate resource with the earliest ending symbol and the overlapping PDSCH candidate resource (s) as a PDSCH candidate resource group; and continuing to perform the above operations for the remaining valid PDSCH candidate resources in order to construct rest of PDSCH candidate resource group until all valid PDSCH candidate resources are used into the corresponding PDSCH candidate resource group.

[0065] Fig. 5 shows an exemplarily communication resource arrangement. The set of PDSCH  candidate resources configured for both DL BWPs and DL subbands is {#1, #2, #3, #4, #5} . That is to say, PDSCH candidate resources {#1, #2, #3, #4, #5} are configured both for non-SBFD slots (slots n-5, n-4, n) and SBFD slots (slots n-3, n-2, and n-1) . Assuming the k1 set is configured as {1, 2, 3, 4, 5} . The k1 values in the k1 set are used to indicate the slot interval between the slot where PDSCH is located and the slot where the HARQ-ACK codebook corresponding to that PDSCH is located, as explained in Fig. 3. A type1 HARQ-ACK codebook is indicated to be transmitted in slot n. The slots corresponding to the HARQ-ACK codebook are determined to be based on slots (n-k1) , namely slots n-1, n-2, n-3, n-4, and n-5, respectively.

[0066] In slot n-5, it is not configured with a UL subband or DL subband. Rule 0 is used to determine valid PDSCH candidate resources. According to the Rule 0, the valid PDSCH candidate resources include resources #1~#5. Based on the rules explained in Section 4.1.4 or Section 3, the PDSCH candidate resource groups include {#1, #4} , {#2, #3} , and {#5} , respectively. The corresponding HARQ-ACK information for each PDSCH candidate resource group for slot n-5 can be determined. For example, 1 bit HARQ-ACK information corresponds to one PDSCH candidate resource group. The HARQ-ACK information of respective PDSCH candidate resource groups can be concatenated to generate HARQ-ACK information of slot n-5, or HARQ-ACK subgroup of slot n-5, based on the order of PDSCH candidate resource groups.

[0067] In slot n-4, it is not configured with a UL subband or DL subband. Rule 0 can be used to determine valid PDSCH candidate resources. According to the Rule 0, the valid PDSCH candidate resources include resources #1~#5. Based on the rules explained in Section 4.1.4 or Section 3, the PDSCH candidate resource groups include {#1, #4} , {#2, #3} , and {#5} , respectively. The corresponding HARQ-ACK information for each PDSCH candidate resource group for slot n-4 can be determined. For example, 1 bit HARQ-ACK information corresponds to one PDSCH candidate resource group. The HARQ-ACK information of respective PDSCH candidate resource groups can be concatenated to generate HARQ-ACK information of slot n-4, or HARQ-ACK subgroup of slot n-4, based on the order of PDSCH candidate resource groups.

[0068] In slot n-3, slot n-3 is configured with the UL subband and DL subband. Rule 2 can exemplarily be used to determine valid PDSCH candidate resources. According to Rule 2, the valid PDSCH candidate resources include: PDSCH candidate resources #1, #4, and #5  because PDSCH candidate resources #2 and #3 are invalid for overlapping with the UL subband or the guard band. According to the approaches in Section 4.1.4 or Section 3, PDSCH candidate resource groups can be determined as {#1, #4} , and {#5} . The corresponding HARQ-ACK information for each PDSCH candidate resource group for slot n-3 can be determined. For example, 1 bit HARQ-ACK information corresponds to one PDSCH candidate resource group. The HARQ-ACK information of respective PDSCH candidate resource groups can be concatenated to generate HARQ-ACK information of slot n-3, or HARQ-ACK subgroup of slot n-3, based on the order of PDSCH candidate resource groups.

[0069] In slot n-2, slot n-2 is configured with the UL subband and DL subband. Rule 2 can exemplarily be used to determine valid PDSCH candidate resources. According to Rule 2, valid PDSCH candidate resources include PDSCH candidate resources #1, #4, and #5. According to the approaches in Section 4.1.4 or Section 3, PDSCH candidate resource groups can be determined as {#1, #4} , and {#5} . Also, Rule 7 can be used for slot n-2. Assuming UE does not have capability to receive PDSCH resource partially on a DL subband and partially on DL BWP, PDSCH candidate resource #4 is consider invalid, leaving only PDSCH candidate resources #1 and #5 as valid. According to the approaches in Section 4.1.4 or Section 3, PDSCH candidate resource groups can be determined as {#1} and {#5} . The corresponding HARQ-ACK information for each PDSCH candidate resource group for slot n-2 can be determined. For example, 1 bit HARQ-ACK information corresponds to one PDSCH candidate resource group. The HARQ-ACK information of respective PDSCH candidate resource groups can be concatenated to generate HARQ-ACK information of slot n-2, or HARQ-ACK subgroup of slot n-2, based on the order of PDSCH candidate resource groups.

[0070] In slot n-1, slot n-1 is configured with a UL subband and DL subband. Rule 2-1 can be used to determine valid PDSCH candidate resources. According to the Rule 2-1, valid PDSCH candidate resources include PDSCH candidate resources #1, #4, and #5. According to the approaches in Section 4.1.4 or Section 3, PDSCH candidate resource groups can be determined as {#1, #4} , and {#5} . The corresponding HARQ-ACK information for each PDSCH candidate resource group for slot n-1 can be determined. For example, 1 bit HARQ-ACK information corresponds to one PDSCH candidate resource group. The HARQ-ACK information of respective PDSCH candidate resource groups can be concatenated to generate HARQ-ACK information of slot n-1, or HARQ-ACK subgroup of slot n-1, based on the order  of PDSCH candidate resource groups.

[0071] Based on the sequence of slot n-5, slot n-4, slot n-3, slot n-2, and slot n-1, the HARQ-ACK subgroups of slot n-5, slot n-4, slot n-3, slot n-2, and slot n-1 can be concatenated to obtain the final type1 HARQ-ACK codebook. The concatenation here can also be based on the type of slot n-5, slot n-4, slot n-3, slot n-2, and slot n-1.

[0072] The UE can further determine the PUCCH resource used for transmission the type1 HARQ-ACK codebook. The type of slot n here is a non-SBFD slot that has not been configured with the UL subband or DL subband. Therefore, the PUCCH resource set corresponding to slot n can be the PUCCH resource set corresponding to UL BWP. The PUCCH resource set corresponding to the two types of slots is the same, so determining the type of slot n can be ignored.

[0073] 4.2. Example 2: Shared PDSCH Candidate Resources but PUCCH Resource

[0074] In this example, like Example 1, the PDSCH Candidate Resource set can be shared between UL / DL subbands and the UL / DL BWPs. But, in this example, the settings of the PUCCH resource and / or the k1_set are configured separately for UL / DL subbands and the UL / DL BWPs or the corresponding slot.

[0075] In this example, the DL subband may share the same PDSCH candidate resource set (e.g., the resource set as shown in Fig. 4) that is associated with the DL BWP. The PDSCH candidate resource set can be used for dynamically scheduled PDSCH and semi statically configured PDSCH.

[0076] Unlike Example 1, the UL subband here is configured with its own corresponding PUCCH resource set and / or k1 set. The UL BWP is configured with its own corresponding PUCCH resource set and / or k1 set as well. That is to say, independent PUCCH resource sets and / or k1 sets are configured separately for the UL BWP and the UL subband. The SBFD slot and the non-SBFD slot are respectively configured with the corresponding PUCCH resource  set and / or k1 set. The UL subband and the UL BWP can be configured with the same k1 set, but with different PUCCH resource sets. Alternatively or additionally, if a PUCCH resource set or k1 set is configured for the UL BWP, but the UL subband is not configured with a PUCCH resource set or k1 set, the UL subband is associated with the PUCCH resource set or k1 set corresponding to the UL BWP by default.

[0077] If a PDSCH scheduled by DCI is received in the DL subband, or in the SBFD symbol / slot, or in the UL symbol / slot configured the UL subband, or in the UL symbol / slot the configured DL subband, UE may determine that the k1 value in the DCI is understood based on the k1 set corresponding to the UL subband. That is, the UE determines a k1 value from the k1 set corresponding to the UL subband based on the k1 in the DCI. Based on the determined k1 value, the UE can determine the slot n where the HARQ-ACK of the PDSCH is located.

[0078] In addition, the UE can determine the type of slot n and determine the PUCCH resource set corresponding to slot n based on the type of slot n. Then, the UE can determine a PUCCH resource from the determined PUCCH resource set based on the PRI value in the DCI. Here, the PUCCH resource set or k1 set corresponding to the SBFD slot can be the PUCCH resource set or k1 set corresponding to the UL subband. The PUCCH resource set or k1 set corresponding to the non-SBFD slot can be the PUCCH resource set or k1 set corresponding to the UL BWP.

[0079] Alternatively, if a PDSCH scheduled by DCI is received in the DL BWP, or in the DL symbol / slot, or in the non-SBFD symbol / slot, or in the DL symbol / slot not configured the UL / DL subband, UE determines that the k1 value in the DCI is understood based on the k1 set corresponding to the UL BWP. That is, the UE determines a k1 value from the k1 set corresponding to the UL BWP based on the k1 in the DCI. Based on the determined k1 value, the UE determines the slot n where the HARQ-ACK of the PDSCH is located. The UE can further determine the type of slot n and determine the PUCCH resource set corresponding to slot n based on the type of slot n. The UE can determine a PUCCH resource from the determined PUCCH resource set based on the PRI value in the DCI.

[0080] For ease of description, the k1 set corresponding to the UL BWP is denoted as k1_1  set; the k1 set corresponding to the UL subband is denoted as k1_2 sets. k1_b is the union of k1_1 set and k1_2 set.

[0081] 4.2.1. Construction of Type1 HARQ-ACK Codebook

[0082] Because the PDSCH resource set is shared by the subband and the BWP, the construction of the HARQ-ACK Codebook here are mostly similar to that of Example 1. But, the HARQ-ACK codebook is constructed for slot (s) (n-k1_b) .

[0083] If a type1 HARQ-ACK codebook is determined to be transmitted in slot n, the slots corresponding to the type1 HARQ-ACK codebook can be determined to be: slot (s) (n-k1_b) , where k1 is a set of value includes at least one value. For each slot in slots (n-k1_b) , based on the type of each slot, the valid PDSCH candidate resource can be determined from the PDSCH candidate resource set corresponding to the respective slot.

[0084] After the valid PDSCH candidate resource is obtained, one or more PDSCH candidate resource groups can be determined by applying the process disclosed in Section 3 of this disclosure on the determined valid PDSCH candidate resources. The corresponding HARQ-ACK information for each PDSCH candidate resource group can be determined afterward accordingly. Then, the generated HARQ-ACK information can be concatenated based on the order of PDSCH candidate resource groups to obtain the concatenated HARQ-ACK information corresponding to each slot (n-k1_b) . The slots (n-k1_b) may include UL slot configured with the DL subband or the UL subband. The UL subband or the DL subband may include the common UL subband / DL subband and the UE specific UL subband / DL subband.

[0085] In addition, the HARQ-ACK information of each slots to be reported at slot n can be concatenated according to at least one of the following approaches. According to some examples, between the slots (n-k1_b) , the HARQ-ACK information corresponding to each slot can be concatenated based on the type of the slots and the order of the slots. For example, the HARQ-ACK information corresponding to slots (n-k1_b) can be sorted based on the type of the respective slot, and then the HARQ-ACK information corresponding to the same type of  slots can be concatenated according to the order of the slots of the same type. As an example, the HARQ-ACK information corresponding to the SBFD slots can be placed after (or before) the HARQ-ACK information corresponding to the non-SBFD slot type. Among each group, the HARQ-ACK information are sequenced according to the order of the corresponding slots.

[0086] Alternatively or additionally, the HARQ-ACK information of the slots (n-k1_b) can be concatenated based on the order of the slot without first being sorted by the type of the slots corresponding to the HARQ-ACK information. For example, for the slots (n-k1_b) , the HARQ-ACK information corresponding to each slot can be concatenated based on the order of each slot in the slots (n-k1_b) .

[0087] 4.2.2. PUCCH Resource for Transmission of the Codebook

[0088] The system may further determine what resource can be used to transmit the HARQ-ACK codebook in slot n. As an example, PUCCH resource can be determined from the PUCCH resource set corresponding to the slot n according to the PUCCH resource indicator (PRI) in the last DCI (Downlink Control Information) . If slot n is an SBFD slot, the PUCCH resource set corresponding to the slot n is the PUCCH resource set corresponding to the UL subband. Alternatively, if slot n is a non-SBFD slot, then the PUCCH resource set corresponding to the slot n is the PUCCH resource set corresponding to the UL BWP. In this example, the UL subband and the UL BWP are respectively configured with PUCCH resource sets, so the operation of determining the type of slot n cannot be ignored.

[0089] The last DCI can be determined according to at least one of the following approaches. The first approach includes: Determining the slot type of slot n; From the type1 HARQ-ACK codebook, determining the HARQ-ACK information corresponding to the slot type of slot n, and determining the last DCI from the pieces of DCI corresponding to the determined HARQ-ACK information. The determined last DCI can be used as the last DCI corresponding to the type1 HARQ-ACK codebook.

[0090] Alternatively, a second approach can be used, which includes determining the last DCI from the pieces of DCI corresponding to the HARQ-ACK information in the type1 HARQ-ACK codebook. The determined last DCI can be used as the last DCI corresponding to the type1 HARQ-ACK codebook. Briefly, this approach does not require determining the slot type of slot n.

[0091] 4.2.3. Determining Valid or Invalid PDSCH Candidate Resources

[0092] As explain above at Section 4.2.1, before determining the PDSCH candidate resource group (s) for each slot, whose HARQ-ACK information is to be reported, the valid or invalid PDSCH candidate resources can be determined. The valid or invalid PDSCH candidate resources can be further determined from the original set of the PDSCH candidate resources according to at least one of the Rules disclosed in Section 4.1.3.

[0093] 4.2.4. Determining PDSCH Candidate Resource Groups

[0094] Once the valid PDSCH candidate resource (s) is determined, one or more PDSCH candidate resource groups can be determined based on the determined valid PDSCH candidate resource (s) according to the following approaches. In each of slots (n-k1_b) , the valid PDSCH candidate resources are used to construct one or more PDSCH candidate resource groups.

[0095] Fig. 6 shows an exemplarily communication resource arrangement. The set of PDSCH candidate resources configured for both DL BWP and DL subbands is {#1, #2, #3, #4, #5} . That is to say, PDSCH candidate resources {#1, #2, #3, #4, #5} are configured both for non-SBFD slots (slots n-5, n-4, n) and SBFD slots (slots n-3, n-2, and n-1) . Assuming the k1_1 set is configured as {1, 2, 3} , and the k1_2 set is configured as {3, 4, 5} , the k1_b set is configured as {1, 2, 3, 4, 5} . The k1 values in the k1 set are used to indicate the slot interval between the slot where PDSCH is located and the slot where the HARQ-ACK corresponding to that PDSCH is located, as explained in Fig. 3. A type1 HARQ-ACK codebook is indicated to be transmitted in slot n. The slots corresponding to the HARQ-ACK codebook are determined to be based on slots (n-k1_b) , namely slots n-1, n-2, n-3, n-4, and n-5, respectively.

[0096] In slot n-5, it is not configured with a UL subband or DL subband.

[0097] In slot n-4, it is not configured with a UL subband or DL subband.

[0098] In slot n-3, slot n-3 is configured with the UL subband and DL subband.

[0099] In slot n-2, slot n-2 is configured with the UL subband and DL subband.

[0100] In slot n-1, slot n-1 is configured with a UL subband and DL subband.

[0101] Based on the sequence of slot n-5, slot n-4, slot n-3, slot n-2, and slot n-1, the HARQ-ACK subgroup of slot n-5, slot n-4, slot n-3, slot n-2, and slot n-1 can be concatenated to obtain the final type1 HARQ-ACK codebook. The concatenation here can also be based on the type of slot n-5, slot n-4, slot n-3, slot n-2, and slot n-1.

[0102] The UE can further determine the PUCCH resource used for transmission the type1 HARQ-ACK codebook. The type of slot n here is a non-SBFD slot that has not been configured with the UL subband or DL subband. Therefore, the PUCCH resource set corresponding to slot n can be the PUCCH resource set corresponding to UL BWP.

[0103] 4.3. Example 3: Shared PUCCH Resource but PDSCH Candidate Resources

[0104] Unlike Example 1, PDSCH candidate resource sets in this example can be respectively configured for DL subband and DL BWP. The PUCCH resource is shared by the subband and BWP. The DL subband is configured with its own corresponding PDSCH candidate resource set, and the DL BWP is configured with its own corresponding PDSCH candidate resource set. Independent PDSCH candidate resource sets are configured separately for the DL BWP and the DL subband. The SBFD symbols / slot and non-SBFD symbols / slot are respectively configured with corresponding PDSCH candidate resource sets. If a PDSCH candidate resource set is configured for the DL BWP, but the DL subband is not configured with a PSDCH candidate resource set, the DL subband is associated with the PDSCH resource set corresponding to the DL BWP by default.

[0105] In Example 3, the UL subband shares the PUCCH resource set and / or k1 set with the UL BWP. That is, the same PUCCH resource set and / or same k1 set is configured for the UL BWP and the UL subband. The SBFD symbol / slot and the non-SBFD symbol / slot are configured with the same PUCCH resource set and / or k1 set. The UL subband and the UL BWP can be configured with the same k1 set, but with different PUCCH resource sets. If a PUCCH resource set or k1 set is configured for the UL BWP, but the UL subband is not configured with a PUCCH resource set or k1 set, the UL subband is associated with the PUCCH resource set or k1 set corresponding to the UL BWP, by default.

[0106] 4.3.1. Construction of Type1 HARQ-ACK Codebook

[0107] If a type1 HARQ-ACK codebook is determined to be transmitted in slot n, the slots corresponding to the type1 HARQ-ACK codebook can be determined to be: slot (s) (n-k1) , where k1 is a set of value includes at least one value.

[0108] After the valid PDSCH candidate resource is obtained, one or more PDSCH candidate resource groups can be determined by applying the process disclosed in Section 3 of this  disclosure on the determined valid PDSCH candidate resources. The corresponding HARQ-ACK information for each PDSCH candidate resource group can be determined afterward accordingly. Then, the generated HARQ-ACK information can be concatenated based on the order of PDSCH candidate resource groups to obtain the concatenated HARQ-ACK information corresponding to the each slot (n-k1) . The slots (n-k1) may include UL slot configured with the DL subband or the UL subband. The UL subband or the DL subband may include the common UL subband / DL subband and the UE specific UL subband / DL subband.

[0109] In addition, the HARQ-ACK information of each slots to be reported at slot n can be concatenated according to at least one of the following approaches. According to some examples, between the slots (n-k1) , the HARQ-ACK information corresponding to each slot can be concatenated based on the type of the slots and the order of the slots. For example, the HARQ-ACK information corresponding to slots (n-k1) can be sorted based on the type of the respective slot, and then the HARQ-ACK information corresponding to the same type of slots can be concatenated according to the order of the slots of the same type. As an example, the HARQ-ACK information corresponding to the SBFD slots can be placed after (or before) the HARQ-ACK information corresponding to the non-SBFD slot type. Among each group, the HARQ-ACK information are sequenced according to the order of the corresponding slots.

[0110] Alternatively or additionally, the HARQ-ACK information of the slot (n-k1) can be concatenated based on the order of the slot without first being sorted by the type of the slots corresponding to the HARQ-ACK information. For example, for the slots (n-k1) , the HARQ-ACK information corresponding to each slot can be concatenated based on the order of each slot in the slot (n-k1) .

[0111] 4.3.2. PUCCH Resource for Transmission of the Codebook

[0112] The system may further determine what resource can be used to transmit the HARQ-ACK codebook in slot n. In this example, the UL subband and the UL BWP may share the same PUCCH resource set, so the  operation of determining the type of slot n can be skipped, and the corresponding PUCCH resource set of slot n can be obtained directly.

[0113] The last DCI can be determined according to at least one of the following approaches.

[0114] Alternatively, a second approach can be used, which includes determining the last DCI from the pieces of DCI corresponding to the HARQ-ACK information in the type1 HARQ-ACK codebook. The determined last DCI can be used as the last DCI corresponding to the type1 HARQ-ACK codebook. Briefly, this approach does not require determining the slot type of slot n.

[0115] 4.3.3. Determining Valid or Invalid PDSCH Candidate Resources

[0116] As explained above at Section 4.3.1, before determining the PDSCH candidate resource group for each slot, whose HARQ-ACK information is to be reported, the valid or invalid PDSCH candidate resources can be determined. The valid or invalid PDSCH candidate resource can be further determined from the original set of the PDSCH candidate resources according to the Rules disclosed in Section 4.1.3.

[0117] Based on the type of the slot, valid or invalid PDSCH candidate resources can be determined from the PDSCH candidate resource set corresponding to the slot. Because the PDSCH candidate resource sets are configured separately for the DL subband (or SBFD slot) and the DL BWP (non-SBFD slot) , for each slot in slot (n-k1) , the corresponding PDSCH candidate resource set for each slot can be first determined based on the type of each slot. The valid or invalid PDSCH candidate resources can then be determined from the determined PDSCH candidate resource set based on at least one of Rule disclosed in Section 4.1.3.

[0118] Furthermore, for a slot where some symbols are configured with the UL subband / DL subband and some symbols are not configured with the UL subband / DL subband (that is, for the slot containing both the DL BWP and the DL subband, such as the slot n-2 in Fig. 7 below) , the PDSCH candidate resource set (denoted as Q_b) corresponding to the slot can be determined to be the union of the PDSCH candidate resource set (denoted as Q1) corresponding  to the DL BWP and the PDSCH candidate resource set (denoted as Q2) corresponding to the DL subband. Accordingly, in the slot, valid PDSCH candidate resources are determined from the set Q_b based on at least one of the Rules in Section 4.1.3.

[0119] Alternatively, the BS and UE can agree that the PDSCH candidate resource set corresponding to this kind of slots is determined to be PDSCH candidate resource set Q1 or PDSCH candidate resource set Q2. Alternatively, the BS and UE can agree that the set of PDSCH candidate resources corresponding to this kind of slots is determined to be the union of the remaining PDSCH candidate resources of PDSCH candidate resource set Q1 after removing PDSCH candidate resources that are not within the DL BWP and the remaining PDSCH candidate resources of PDSCH candidate resource set Q2 after removing PDSCH candidate resources that are not within the DL subband and / or the guard band.

[0120] 4.3.4. Determining PDSCH Candidate Resource Groups

[0121] Once the valid PDSCH candidate resource (s) is determined, one or more PDSCH candidate resource groups are determined based on the determined valid PDSCH candidate resource (s) according to the following approaches.

[0122] Fig. 7 shows an exemplarily communication resource arrangement. The set of PDSCH candidate resources configured for DL BWP (or non-SBFD slot) is PDSCH candidate resource set Q1= {#1, #2} . The set of PDSCH candidate resources configured for DL subband (or SBFD slot) is PDSCH candidate resource set Q2= {#3, #4, #5} . The union of Q1 and Q2 PDSCH candidate resource sets is Q_b= {#1, #2, #3, #4, #5} . Assuming the k1 set is configured as {1, 2, 3, 4, 5} . The slots corresponding to the HARQ-ACK codebook are determined to be based on slots (n-k1) , namely slots n-1, n-2, n-3, n-4, and n-5, respectively.

[0123] In slot n-5, it is not configured with a UL subband or DL subband (meaning that the DL BWP is configured in slot n-5, or slot n-5 is a non-SBFD slot) . The PDSCH candidate resource set corresponding to slot n-5 is {#1, #2} . Rule 0 is used to determine valid PDSCH candidate resources. According to the Rule 0, the valid PDSCH candidate resources include resources #1 and #2. Based on the rules explained in Section 4.1.4 or Section 3, the PDSCH candidate resource groups include {#1} and {#2} , respectively.

[0124] In slot n-4, it is not configured with a UL subband or DL subband (meaning that the DL BWP is configured in slot n-4, or slot n-4 is a non-SBFD slot) . The PDSCH candidate resource set corresponding to slot n-4 is {#1, #2} . The corresponding HARQ-ACK information for each PDSCH candidate resource group for slot n-5 can be determined. For example, 1 bit HARQ-ACK information corresponds to one PDSCH candidate resource group. The HARQ-ACK information of respective PDSCH candidate resource groups can be concatenated to generate HARQ-ACK information of slot n-4, or HARQ-ACK subgroup of slot n-4, based on the order of PDSCH candidate resource groups.

[0125] In slot n-3, slot n-3 is configured with the UL subband and DL subband (meaning that DL subband is configured in slot n-3 or that slot n-3 is an SBFD slot) . The PDSCH candidate resource set corresponding to slot n-3 is {#3, #4, #5} . Rule 2 can exemplarily be used to determine valid PDSCH candidate resources. According to Rule 2, the valid PDSCH candidate resources include: PDSCH candidate resources #4 and #5 because PDSCH candidate resource #3 are invalid for overlapping with the UL subband or the guard band. According to the  approaches in Section 4.1.4 or Section 3, PDSCH candidate resource groups can be determined as {#4} and {#5} .

[0126] In slot n-2, some symbols are configured with the UL subband or DL subband, and the other symbols are not configured with the UL subband / DL subband (that is, configured with the DL BWP) . As an example, the union of the PDSCH candidate resource sets corresponding to the two types of slots is used as the PDSCH candidate resource set slot n-2. Therefore, the PDSCH candidate resource set corresponding to slot n-2 is Q_b= {#1, #2, #3, #4, #5} .

[0127] In slot n-1, slot n-1 is configured with the UL subband and DL subband (meaning that DL subband is configured in slot n-1 or that slot n-1 is an SBFD slot) . The PDSCH candidate resource set corresponding to slot n-1 is {#3, #4, #5} . The corresponding HARQ-ACK information for each PDSCH candidate resource group for slot n-3 can be determined. For example, 1 bit HARQ-ACK information corresponds to one PDSCH candidate resource group. The HARQ-ACK information of respective PDSCH candidate resource groups can be concatenated to generate HARQ-ACK information of slot n-1, or HARQ-ACK subgroup of slot n-1, based on the order of PDSCH candidate resource groups.

[0128] Based on the sequence of slot n-5, slot n-4, slot n-3, slot n-2, and slot n-1, the HARQ-ACK subgroup of slot n-5, slot n-4, slot n-3, slot n-2, and slot n-1 can be concatenated to obtain the final type1 HARQ-ACK codebook. The concatenation here can also be based on the type of slot n-5, slot n-4, slot n-3, slot n-2, and slot n-1.

[0129] The UE can further determine the PUCCH resource used for transmission the type1 HARQ-ACK codebook.

[0130] 4.4. Example 4: PDSCH Candidate Resource Sets and PUCCH Resource are Respectively Configured

[0131] In this example, the configuration of PDSCH Candidate Resource Sets is similar to the configuration in Example 3, and the configuration of PUCCH Resource is similar to the configuration in Example 2.

[0132] In this example, PDSCH candidate resource sets in this example can be respectively configured for DL subband and DL BWP.

[0133] In this example, the UL subband here is configured with its own corresponding PUCCH resource set and / or k1 set.

[0134] If a PDSCH scheduled by DCI is received in the DL subband, or in the SBFD symbol / slot, or in the UL symbol / slot configured the UL subband, or in the UL symbol / slot the configured DL subband, UE may determine that the k1 value in the DCI is understood based on the k1 set corresponding to the UL subband. That is, the UE determines a k1 value from the k1 set corresponding to the UL subband based on the k1 in the DCI. Based on the determined k1 value, the UE can determine the slot n where the HARQ-ACK of the PDSCH is located.

[0135] In addition, the UE can determine the type of slot n and determine the PUCCH resource set corresponding to slot n based on the type of slot n.

[0136] Alternatively, if a PDSCH scheduled by DCI is received in the DL BWP, or in the DL symbol / slot, or in the non-SBFD symbol / slot, or in the DL symbol / slot not configured the UL / DL subband, UE determines that the k1 value in the DCI is understood based on the k1 set corresponding to the UL BWP. The, the UE can determine a PUCCH resource from the determined PUCCH resource set based on the PRI value in the DCI.

[0137] For ease of description, assume that the k1 set corresponding to the UL BWP is denoted as k1_1 set; The k1 set corresponding to the UL subband is denoted as k1_2 sets. k1_b is the union of k1_1 set and k1_2 set.

[0138] 4.4.1. Construction of Type1 HARQ-ACK Codebook

[0139] If a type1 HARQ-ACK codebook is determined to be transmitted in slot n, the slots corresponding to the type1 HARQ-ACK codebook can be determined to be: slot (s) (n-k1_b) , where k1 is a set of value includes at least one value. For each slot in slots (n-k1_b) , based on the type of each slot, the valid PDSCH candidate resource can be determined from the PDSCH candidate resource set corresponding to the respective slot.

[0140] After the valid PDSCH candidate resource is obtained, one or more PDSCH candidate resource groups can be determined by applying the process disclosed in Section 3 of this disclosure on the determined valid PDSCH candidate resources.

[0141] In addition, the HARQ-ACK information of each slots to be reported at slot n can be concatenated according to at least one of the following approaches.

[0142] Alternatively or additionally, the HARQ-ACK information of the slot (n-k1_b) can be concatenated based on the order of the slot without first being sorted by the type of the slots corresponding to the HARQ-ACK information. For example, for the slots (n-k1_b) , the HARQ-ACK information corresponding to each slot can be concatenated based on the order of each slot in the slot (n-k1_b) .

[0143] 4.4.2. PUCCH Resource for Transmission of the Codebook

[0144] The system may further determine what resource can be used to transmit the HARQ-ACK codebook in slot n.

[0145] The last DCI can be determined according to at least one of the following approaches.

[0146] Alternatively, a second approach can be used, which includes determining the last DCI from the pieces of DCI corresponding to the HARQ-ACK information in the type1 HARQ-ACK codebook. The determined last DCI can be used as the last DCI corresponding to the  type1 HARQ-ACK codebook. Briefly, this approach does not require determining the slot type of slot n.

[0147] 4.4.3. Determining Valid or Invalid PDSCH Candidate Resources

[0148] As explained above at Section 4.3.1, before determining the PDSCH candidate resource group for each slot, whose HARQ-ACK information is to be reported, the valid or invalid PDSCH candidate resources can be determined. The valid or invalid PDSCH candidate resource can be further determined from the original set of the PDSCH candidate resources according to the Rules disclosed in Section 4.1.3.

[0149] Based on the type of the slot, valid or invalid PDSCH candidate resources can be determined from the PDSCH candidate resource set corresponding to the slot. Because the PDSCH candidate resource sets are configured separately for the DL subband (or SBFD slot) and the DL BWP (non-SBFD slot) , for each slot in slot (n-k1_b) , the corresponding PDSCH candidate resource set for each slot can be first determined based on the type of each slot. The valid or invalid PDSCH candidate resources can then be determined from the determined PDSCH candidate resource set based on at least one of Rule disclosed in Section 4.1.3.

[0150] Furthermore, for a slot where some symbols are configured with the UL subband / DL subband and some symbols are not configured with the UL subband / DL subband (that is, for the slot containing both the DL BWP and the DL subband, such as the slot n-2 in Fig. 8 below) , the PDSCH candidate resource set (denoted as Q_b) corresponding to the slot can be determined to be the union of the PDSCH candidate resource set (denoted as Q1) corresponding to the DL BWP and the PDSCH candidate resource set (denoted as Q2) corresponding to the DL subband. Accordingly, in the slot, valid PDSCH candidate resources are determined from the set Q_b based on at least one of the Rules in Section 4.1.3.

[0151] Alternatively, the BS and UE can agree that the PDSCH candidate resource set corresponding to this kind of slots is determined to be PDSCH candidate resource set Q1 or PDSCH candidate resource set Q2.

[0152] 4.4.4. Determining PDSCH Candidate Resource Groups

[0153] Once the valid PDSCH candidate resource (s) is determined, one or more PDSCH candidate resource groups are determined based on the determined valid PDSCH candidate resource (s) according to the following approaches. In each of slots (n-k1_b) , the valid PDSCH candidate resources are used to construct one or more PDSCH candidate resource groups.

[0154] Fig. 8 shows an exemplarily communication resource arrangement.

[0155] In slot n-5, it is not configured with a UL subband or DL subband (meaning that the DL BWP is configured in slot n-5, or slot n-5 is a non-SBFD slot) .

[0156] In slot n-4, it is not configured with a UL subband or DL subband (meaning that the DL BWP is configured in slot n-4, or slot n-4 is a non-SBFD slot) . The PDSCH candidate resource set corresponding to slot n-4 is {#1, #2} .

[0157] In slot n-3, slot n-3 is configured with the UL subband and DL subband (meaning that DL subband is configured in slot n-3 or that slot n-3 is an SBFD slot) .

[0158] In slot n-2, some symbols are configured with the UL subband or DL subband, and the  other symbols are not configured with the UL subband / DL subband (that is, configured with the DL BWP) .

[0159] In slot n-1, slot n-1 is configured with the UL subband and DL subband (meaning that DL subband is configured in slot n-1 or that slot n-1 is an SBFD slot) . The PDSCH candidate resource set corresponding to slot n-1 is {#3, #4, #5} .

[0160] Based on the sequence of slot n-5, slot n-4, slot n-3, slot n-2, and slot n-1, the HARQ- ACK subgroups of slot n-5, slot n-4, slot n-3, slot n-2, and slot n-1 can be concatenated to obtain the final type1 HARQ-ACK codebook. The concatenation here can also be based on the type of slot n-5, slot n-4, slot n-3, slot n-2, and slot n-1.

[0161] The UE can further determine the PUCCH resource used for transmission the type1 HARQ-ACK codebook. The type of slot n here is a non-SBFD slot that has not been configured with the UL subband or DL subband. Therefore, the PUCCH resource set corresponding to slot n can be the PUCCH resource set corresponding to UL BWP. The PUCCH resource set corresponding to the two types of slots are respectively configured, so determining the type of slot n can be ignored.

[0162] According to some embodiments of this disclosure, a wireless communication method is disclosed, the method includes: determining at least one first slot corresponding to a HARQ-ACK codebook according to a second slot used for transmission of the HARQ-ACK codebook; generating the HARQ-ACK codebook according to the at least one first slot and PDSCH candidate resources of the at least one first slot; and transmitting the HARQ-ACK codebook in a UL transmission resource from the second slot.

[0163] According to some examples, generating the HARQ-ACK codebook includes determining valid or invalid PDSCH candidate resource of the at least one first slot according to locations of the PDSCH candidate resources relative to at least one of a subband, a BWP, or a guard band in the at least one first slot.

[0164] According to some examples, the second slot or the at least one first slot includes at least one slot of a first type and at least one slot of a second type, wherein the slot of the first type is configured with at least one DL or UL (uplink) subband and the slot of the second type is configured devoid of a DL or UL (uplink) subband or is configured with only a BWP.

[0165] According to some examples, the slot of the first type and the slot of the second type are configured with the a same PDSCH candidate resource set.

[0166] According to some examples, the slot of the first type and the slot of the second type are configured with different PDSCH candidate resource sets.

[0167] According to some examples, the slot of the first type and the slot of the second type are configured with the a same PUCCH candidate resource set.

[0168] According to some examples, the slot of the first type and the slot of the second type are configured with different PUCCH candidate resource sets.

[0169] According to some examples, the slot of the first type and the slot of the second type are configured with a same slot location set.

[0170] According to some examples, the slot of the first type and the slot of the second type are configured with different slot location sets.

[0171] According to some examples, the method further includes determining the UL transmission resource for the HARQ-ACK codebook by: determining last DCI from pieces of DCI corresponding to HARQ-ACK information in the HARQ-ACK codebook.

[0172] According to some examples, the method further includes determining the UL transmission resource for the HARQ-ACK codebook by: determining a slot type of the second slot; determining slots with the same slot type as the second slot from the at least one first slot; determining HARQ-ACK information corresponding to the determined slots; and determine last DCI from pieces of DCI corresponding to the determined HARQ-ACK information corresponding to the determined slots.

[0173] According to some examples, generating the HARQ-ACK codebook includes determining a PDSCH candidate resource is valid or invalid by at least one of the following rules:

[0174] determining a PDSCH candidate resource is invalid when the at least one first slot is not configured with a UL subband or DL subband and the PDSCH candidate resource at least partially overlaps with a UL resource, and otherwise the PDSCH candidate resource is valid;

[0175] determining a PDSCH candidate resource is invalid when the at least one first slot is a DL or flexible slot configured with at least one of a UL subband or DL subband and the PDSCH candidate resource at least partially overlaps with the UL subband, and otherwise the PDSCH candidate resource is valid;

[0176] determining a PDSCH candidate resource is invalid when the at least one first slot is a DL or flexible slot configured with at least one of a UL subband or DL subband and the PDSCH candidate resource at least partially overlaps with at least one of the UL subband or a guard band, and otherwise the PDSCH candidate resource is valid;

[0177] determining a PDSCH candidate resource is invalid when the at least one first slot is a DL or flexible slot configured with at least one of a UL subband or DL subband and the PDSCH candidate resource at least partially overlaps with a resource outside of the DL subband, and otherwise the PDSCH candidate resource is valid;

[0178] determining a PDSCH candidate resource is valid when the at least one first slot is a DL or flexible slot configured with at least one of a UL subband or DL subband and the PDSCH candidate resource is within the DL subband, and otherwise the PDSCH candidate resource is invalid;

[0179] determining a PDSCH candidate resource is valid when the at least one first slot is a DL or flexible slot configured with at least one of a UL subband or DL subband and the PDSCH candidate resource is within at least one of the DL subband or a guard band, and otherwise the PDSCH candidate resource is invalid; or

[0180] determining a PDSCH candidate resource is valid when the at least one first slot is a DL or flexible slot configured with at least one of a UL subband or DL subband and the PDSCH candidate resource is within resource outside the UL subband and a guard band, and otherwise the PDSCH candidate resource is invalid.

[0181] According to some examples, generating the HARQ-ACK codebook includes determining a PDSCH candidate resource is valid or invalid by at least one of the following rules:

[0182] determining a PDSCH candidate resource is valid when the at least one first slot is not configured with a UL subband or DL subband and the PDSCH candidate resource is within DL resource, and otherwise the PDSCH candidate is invalid;

[0183] determining a PDSCH candidate resource is invalid when the at least one first slot is a UL or flexible slot configured with at least one of a UL subband or DL subband and the PDSCH candidate resource at least partially overlaps with the UL subband, and otherwise the PDSCH candidate is valid;

[0184] determining a PDSCH candidate resource is invalid when the at least one first slot is a UL or flexible slot configured with at least one of a UL subband or DL subband and the PDSCH candidate resource at least partially overlaps with at least one of the UL subband or a guard band, and otherwise the PDSCH candidate is valid;

[0185] determining a PDSCH candidate resource is invalid when the at least one first slot is a UL or flexible slot configured with at least one of a UL subband or DL subband and the piece of PDSCH candidate resource at least partially overlaps with resource outside of the DL subband, and otherwise the PDSCH candidate resource is valid;

[0251] This disclosure is intended to cover any conceivable variations, uses, combination, or adaptive changes of this disclosure following the general principles of this disclosure, and includes well-known knowledge and conventional technical means in the art and undisclosed in this application.

[0252] It is to be understood that this disclosure is not limited to the precise structures or operation described above and shown in the accompanying drawings, and various modifications and changes may be made without departing from the scope of this application. The scope of this application is subject only to the appended claims.

[0253] The methods, devices, processing, circuitry, and logic described above may be implemented in many different ways and in many different combinations of hardware and software. For example, all or parts of the implementations may be circuitry that includes an instruction processor or controller, such as a Central Processing Unit (CPU) , microcontroller, or a microprocessor; or as an Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) , Programmable Logic Device (PLD) , or Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) ; or as circuitry that includes discrete logic or other circuit components, including analog circuit components, digital circuit components or both; or any combination thereof. The circuitry may include discrete interconnected hardware components or may be combined on a single integrated circuit die, distributed among multiple integrated circuit dies, or implemented in a Multiple Chip Module (MCM) of multiple integrated circuit dies in a common package, as examples.

[0254] Accordingly, the circuitry may store or access instructions for execution, or may implement its functionality in hardware alone. The instructions may be stored in a tangible storage medium that is other than a transitory signal, such as a flash memory, a Random Access Memory (RAM) , a Read Only Memory (ROM) , an Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory (EPROM) ; or on a magnetic or optical disc, such as a Compact Disc Read Only  Memory (CDROM) , Hard Disk Drive (HDD) , or other magnetic or optical disk; or in or on another machine-readable medium. A product, such as a computer program product, may include a storage medium and instructions stored in or on the medium, and the instructions when performed by the circuitry in a device may cause the device to implement any of the processing described above or illustrated in the drawings.

[0255] The implementations may be distributed. For instance, the circuitry may include multiple distinct system components, such as multiple processors and memories, and may span multiple distributed processing systems. Parameters, databases, and other data structures may be separately stored and managed, may be incorporated into a single memory or database, may be logically and physically organized in many different ways, and may be implemented in many different ways. Example implementations include linked lists, program variables, hash tables, arrays, records (e.g., database records) , objects, and implicit storage mechanisms. Instructions may form parts (e.g., subroutines or other code sections) of a single program, may form multiple separate programs, may be distributed across multiple memories and processors, and may be implemented in many different ways. Example implementations include stand-alone programs, and as part of a library, such as a shared library like a Dynamic Link Library (DLL) . The library, for example, may contain shared data and one or more shared programs that include instructions that perform any of the processing described above or illustrated in the drawings, when performed by the circuitry.

[0256] In some examples, each unit, subunit, and / or module of the system may include a logical component. Each logical component may be hardware or a combination of hardware and software. For example, each logical component may include an application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) , a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) , a digital logic circuit, an analog circuit, a combination of discrete circuits, gates, or any other type of hardware or combination thereof. Alternatively or in addition, each logical component may include memory hardware, such as a portion of the memory, for example, that includes instructions executable with the processor or other processors to implement one or more of the features of the logical components. When any one of the logical components includes the portion of the memory that includes instructions executable with the processor, the logical component may or may not include the processor. In some examples, each logical component may just be the portion of the memory or other physical memory that includes instructions executable with the processor  or other processor to implement the features of the corresponding logical component without the logical component including any other hardware. Because each logical component includes at least some hardware even when the included hardware includes software, each logical component may be interchangeably referred to as a hardware logical component.

[0257] A second action may be said to be “in response to” a first action independent of whether the second action results directly or indirectly from the first action. The second action may occur at a substantially later time than the first action and still be in response to the first action. Similarly, the second action may be said to be in response to the first action even if intervening actions take place between the first action and the second action, and even if one or more of the intervening actions directly cause the second action to be performed. For example, a second action may be in response to a first action if the first action sets a flag and a third action later initiates the second action whenever the flag is set.

[0258] To clarify the use of and to hereby provide notice to the public, the phrases “at least one of , , …and <N>” or “at least one of , , …<N>, or combinations thereof” or “, , …and / or <N>” are defined by the Applicant in the broadest sense, superseding any other implied definitions hereinbefore or hereinafter unless expressly asserted by the Applicant to the contrary, to mean one or more elements selected from the group comprising A, B, …and N. In other words, the phrases mean any combination of one or more of the elements A, B, …or N including any one element alone or the one element in combination with one or more of the other elements which may also include, in combination, additional elements not listed.
