Abstract

The disclosure provides for systems and methods for multi-level resource plan scheduling onto placement domains of hierarchical infrastructures. According to an aspect a method is provided for scheduling resources of a client. The method includes receiving, by a resource scheduler from a client, a request for resources, the request indicating a set of resource consumers, the resource information may indicate a multi-level placement domain (PD) relationship of the resources The method may further include receiving, by the resource scheduler from an infrastructure discoverer, a resource information indicating resources for scheduling. The method may further include scheduling, by the resource scheduler, the set of resource consumers onto the resources based on the resource information and the request for resources.
