Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a luminaire housing of a luminaire for holding and receiving a light module of the luminaire and for use in a ceiling or wall system.
[0002] Currently known luminaire housings are usually limited to respective shapes and dimensions, whereas individual sizes and shapes usually require large dedicated tooling and remodelling of the respective housing. Hence, with currently known luminaire housings multiple different tools and a variety of different components is required to create a broad product range with different dimensions and shapes of the luminaire housing, which constitutes a high effort economically and technically. Hence, the currently known luminaire housings are inflexible with regard to respective illumination and mounting scenarios. Therefore, usually with the currently known luminaire housings the possible mounting and illumination scenarios are limited to the respective fixed parameters of the available sizes and shapes of a respective luminaire housing.
[0003] Thus, the invention is concerned with the task of providing an improved luminaire housing, and further a respective improved luminaire. This task is solved by the luminaire housing according to independent claim 1, respectively the luminaire according to the subsidiary claim 14. The invention is defined in the independent claim. Additional features of the invention are provided in the respective dependent claims.
[0004] According to the invention a luminaire housing of a luminaire is provided, wherein the luminaire housing is for holding and receiving a light module of the luminaire and for use in a ceiling or wall system. Hereby the luminaire housing comprises at least three longitudinal profile parts, forming side surfaces of the luminaire housing, wherein each profile part extends along its longitudinal axis over a respective length and extends perpendicular to its longitudinal axis over a respective height; and at least three corner parts, defining the corners of the luminaire housing. Moreover, the longitudinal profile parts and the corner parts together form a framework onto which a respective light module of the luminaire is attachable. Furthermore, the corner parts are pillar-shaped, each having a height extending in a direction that is substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the profile parts, and wherein each corner part has coupling elements for coupling with respective complementary coupling parts of the respective profile parts.
[0005] Each corner part is configured to hold end sections of respective two of the at least three profile parts in a fixed position via its respective coupling elements.
[0006] Furthermore, a luminaire per se is provided, wherein the in particular is a ceiling luminaire or a wall luminaire for mounting in a ceiling or wall system, and wherein the luminaire comprises: a luminaire housing according to an embodiment disclosed herein; and a light module comprising at least one light source, the light module being coupled to the luminaire housing.
[0007] With the such provided luminaire housing - and thus luminaire -, an utmost flexible but durable luminaire housing - and thus luminaire - is achieved. Hereby, with the modular setup of the framework formed by the respective profile parts and the respective corner parts, different shapes and sizes are realizable. Also, the framework may be adapted to a respective given lighting module, or vice versa. The interaction between the components corner parts and profile parts forms a stable connection, providing a stiff and loadable framework for holding a respective light module, thus obtaining a flexible and durable but easily manufacturable luminaire housing - and thus luminaire. With the light module being mounted on top of the framework, the stability of the luminaire may further be increased. Hence, the thus configured luminaire housing - and thus luminaire - is utmost flexible in terms of a respective desired light emission scenario as well as of a respective mounting scenario.
[0008] In general, various implementations for the light module and the attaching of the light module to the respective framework are conceivable. Exemplarily a respective light module of the luminaire is attachable on the top side of the framework of the luminaire. Also an attachment of the light module at the bottom side is conceivable, whereas furthermore a mounting of the light module inside the framework is also possible. Hereby, the light module per se is also implementable in various ways, providing for a direct illumination, or an indirect illumination. Also an implementation of the light module having an edge lit light source is conceivable, wherein here it is mounted at side-faces of a respective light guide element (that may form an optic in this implementation) emitting light into the respective light guide, whereas this light can then be decoupled for achieving a direct or indirect illumination. In this edge-lit light source configuration of the light module the light sources of the light module may be positioned along or in vicinity to the respective framework of the luminaire housing.
[0009] Optionally, the luminaire housing further comprises a mounting mechanism for holding the luminaire housing in the ceiling or wall system. With this configuration the luminaire housing, and thus the luminaire, is further made more flexible with regard to its application sites.
[0010] Optionally, the mounting mechanism comprises one mounting arm per corner part, wherein each mounting arm is transferable from a respective mounting position to a respective operating position via a transitional movement. This implementation allows for a flexible change of configuration providing two states of the luminaire housing, and thus the luminaire, and in particular of the mounting mechanism, with a mounting position configured for an easy and straightforward installation process of the housing, respectively the luminaire, in a respective position, and an operating position configured for holding the luminaire housing - and thus the luminaire - in the respective mounted position during operation. The movable mounting arm hereby further eases the installation process of the housing and the luminaire, and also further improves possible deployment sites of the housing and likewise of the luminaire.
[0011] Optionally, the mounting arm is attached to the corner part from an outer side of the luminaire housing in the mounting position of the mounting arm, wherein the mounting arm is formed in the operating position in contact with a respective surface of the ceiling or wall system holding the luminaire housing on the ceiling or wall system. The mounting arm being attached to the corner part from an outer side of the luminaire housing in the mounting position of the mounting allows for an easy and straightforward insertion, respectively coupling, of the respective mounting arm to its respective dedicated corner part. With the mounting arm being configured to then be in contact with a respective structure of a ceiling or wall the luminaire, respectively the luminaire housing, is to be mounted to, further improves the coupling between the luminaire housing and the respective wall or ceiling system.
[0012] Optionally, each of the mounting arms has a base section and a contact lug coupled thereto, wherein in the mounting position and in the operating position the base section is mounted in a received manner in the corner part, and wherein the contact lug is arranged abutting against a respective profile part and / or the respective corner part in the mounting position and is arranged projecting from the luminaire housing, and in particular from the corner part, in the operating position, wherein the contact lug is configured to interact with a respective surface of the ceiling wall system in the operating position. With this configuration, it is achieved that at least the base section is in contact - and hereby essentially coupled with - the corner part (and thus the luminaire housing), whereas the contact lug is solely in immediate contact with the luminaire housing in the mounting position, providing a best possible slim profile of the luminaire housing to further ease mounting of the luminaire housing, and hence the luminaire itself, to the wall or ceiling system. The mounting mechanism being expanded in the operating position, with the contact lug of the mounting arm being placed projecting from the corner part, then establishes the contact and interaction with the respective wall or ceiling, resulting in the luminaire housing being mounted in the respective wall or ceiling system.
[0013] Optionally, each of the mounting arms has a guiding element that interacts with a surface of the corner part upon reaching the respective operating position of the mounting arm, limiting the transitional movement. This further improves the transition between the mounting and the operating position of the mounting mechanism. Furthermore, it increases stability of the connection between the mounting arm and the corner part.
[0014] Optionally, the mounting mechanism for each corner part comprises a threaded rod for actuating and holding the respective mounting arm, wherein for actuating and holding the respective mounting arm the respective threaded rod interacts with the respective corner part and the respective mounting arm, and wherein each threaded rod is inserted into the respective corner part from an underside of a respective corner part through a bore in the bottom part of the corner part in an insertion direction. With this implementation an easy, flexible and durable adjustment and holding element of the mounting mechanism, respectively of the mounting arm, is provided. Here, with the threaded rod being inserted in the respective corner part and being at least in contact with the respective mounting arm the actuation (in actuation direction) of the threaded rod is transferred to the mounting arm, resulting in the respective transitional movement of the mounting arm, and hereby especially of the contact lug. Through the bore at the underside of each corner part, and thus at the underside of the luminaire housing - i.e., the underside of the luminaire, and hence the light emission side of the luminaire - the mounting mechanism is accessible allowing for an utmost easy adjustability of the mounting mechanism, and in particular of the mounting arm via actuation of the threaded rod. This further facilitates mounting of the luminaire housing, and thus the luminaire, while also further increasing stability of the mounting inside the respective ceiling or wall system.
[0015] Hereby, preferably the respective threaded rod being coupled to the respective corner part extends substantially in parallel to the height of the respective corner part. This eases actuation of the threaded rod and thus of the mounting mechanism, while also achieving an easy and effective transitional movement of the mounting arm from the mounting position to the operating position, and vice versa, preferably being a movement around this axis formed by the threaded rod. Further preferably, a complementary bore for receiving the top of the threaded rod is provided at the top part of the respective corner part, wherein hereby further preferred the complementary bore for receiving the top of the threaded rod is configured to accommodate the threaded rod in a freely rotatable manner. This further improves stability of the connection between the mounting arm and the respective corner part, and further facilitates operation of the mounting mechanism. Also preferably the base part of each mounting arm has an internal thread into which the respective threaded rod is inserted. This implementation further eases connection and transfer of an actuation movement from the threaded rod to the mounting arm.
[0016] Optionally, the threaded rod is inserted into the base part of the mounting arm by actuating the threaded rod, preferably in actuating direction of the threaded rod, and wherein upon insertion of the threaded rod the mounting arm is transferred from its mounting position into its operating position in the transitional movement, wherein the transitional movement preferably is a pivoting movement. With this implementation the mounting mechanism is further improved with regard to stability and simplicity of operation.
[0017] Optionally, each mounting arm is adjustable in its operating position with respect to its positioning parallel to the height of the respective corner part along the threaded rod, wherein with further actuation of the threaded rod in actuating direction the mounting arm is movable along the threaded rod in a direction towards the bottom part of the corner part into a minimum position in a region of the bottom part of the corner part, wherein this movement is reversible with actuation of the threaded rod in an inverse actuation direction , and wherein in a maximum position of the mounting arm in a region of the top part of the corner part with further actuation of the threaded rod in the inverse actuation direction, the mounting arm is transferrable back from the operating position into the mounting position in a respective opposite transitional movement. Hence, the interaction between the mounting arm and the respective threaded rod not only allows for transition from a mounting position into an operating position, but additionally allows for adjustment of the operating position per se, and hereby in particular the height in which the mounting arm shall be positioned relative to the respective corner part. With this implementation the luminaire housing, respectively the luminaire itself, is further improved with regard to its flexibility of operation concerning respective structural specifications of a respective present wall or ceiling system. Different depths and thicknesses of respective wall or ceiling structures are manageable with the such a configuration.
[0018] Optionally, the corner part has lateral guide elements arranged between the bore in the base part and the top part, and particular preferably between the bore in the base part and the bore in the top part, of the corner part for receiving and guiding the mounting arm coupled to the threaded rod in its operating position, wherein the lateral guide elements preferably extend substantially along the height of the respective corner part. With this configuration the stability of shift of position of the mounting arm relative to the respective corner part and thus the stability of the mounting mechanism itself is further increased. Furthermore, with this implementation a respective desired orientation of the mounting arm along the height of the respective corner part is also realized via the guidance of the lateral guide elements, such that the repositioning of the mounting arm is reproducible and thus utmost reliable.
[0019] Optionally, the luminaire housing also comprises a cover for each corner part, which covers at least the bore in the bottom part from the underside of the corner part. This not only improves aesthetics of the underside of the luminaire housing, and thus the luminaire, but also increases sealing thereof. Hence, with such a cover, the inside of each corner part is protected against outside influences, such as moisture, water or dust, to a certain degree. In particular, it can be desired that the cover fulfils a certain IP level.
[0020] Optionally, the cover is formed by a cap, which is inserted into the bore in the bottom part and covers it from the underside, and hereby is preferably arranged flush with the bore structure. Such a cap constitutes an utmost cheap and simple covering and thus sealing of the bore, whereas installation thereof is also very easy. Alternatively, the cover is formed by a corner panel which covers the bottom part of the corner part from the underside, and which interacts with the respective corner part and / or the respective adjacent profile parts of the respective corner part by means of at least one coupling element being held fixed to the luminaire housing, and wherein preferably the at least one coupling element comprises a latching element or a slide-in element. The such configured cover provides further options for individualization of the luminaire housing, and hence of the luminaire. Hereby, the aesthetics of the luminaire housing, and thus the luminaire, is further increased. Also, depending on the form and dimension, as well as the coupling via the coupling elements, different sealing levels can be realized.
[0021] Optionally, the luminaire housing further comprises an optic, wherein the optic is disposed within the luminaire housing forming a light emission surface and being attached to at least two of the profile parts. With this configuration the light emission properties of the luminaire are individually settable, with the characteristics of the optics being adaptable to a respective given lighting scenario. For example the optic may at least partially be opaque or clear, such that the level of a homogeneous light emission is configurable. Hereby preferably lower edges of the profile parts each comprise a respective inner holding element for attaching the optic, whereas preferably the optic is attached to at least two profile parts, and in particular to at least two opposing profile parts. This holding element of each respective profile part may in particular be formed at the inner side of the bottom edge of the profile part, and may hereby in particular be formed by an inner flange element. Also a holding element comprising two flange elements arranged one above the other in a distance corresponding to the thickness of a respective edge area of the optic may be provided for an improved durability of the connection between the optic and the framework. The attachment of the optic hereby is preferably realized on a side of the luminaire housing opposite to the side where the light module is to be attached. Various implementations of the optic are conceivable whereas in particular the following shall be exemplary presented, whereas here the optic preferably comprises: one optical plate that is flat and preferably is arranged parallel to the plane where the light module is to be attached; or two curved light guide elements, which are connected to each other via a coupling part, whereby preferably at least one support element is placed inside the luminaire housing, further preferably in contact with a respective longitudinal profile part, whereby the support element is adapted to the curved shape of the optic, wherein the support element interacts with the luminaire housing and the optic; three optical parts, which comprise two lateral curved light guide elements and a plate-shaped central optical part arranged in-between the two lateral curved light guide elements, whereby between the central optical part and each lateral curved light guide element a coupling part is provided, which connects the optical parts, to each other, whereby preferably at least one support element is placed inside the luminaire housing, further preferably in contact with a respective longitudinal profile part, whereby the support element is adapted to the shape of the assembled optical parts, wherein the support element interacts with the luminaire housing and the optic. Hereby in an additional exemplary variant the optic further comprises additional optical elements, such as lenses or louvres, that are positioned on top of the central optical part facing the respective light module when coupled to the luminaire housing.
[0022] Moreover, implementations are conceivable where the optic is formed by one optical plate that essentially has the shape of the above mentioned implementations with the two curved light guide elements, or the three optical parts. Hereby, the optical part thus comprises one optical part that has a respective curved shape. This optic can be in particular realized by an extrusion process, and further particular by a co-extrusion process, where a single part (i.e., the optic) is generated by extrusion having two or more different materials. With these different exemplary implementations of an optic, various different light emission characteristics of the luminaire are generable, resulting in a luminaire housing, and thus luminaire that is more flexible with regard to a respective desired light emission configuration.
[0023] Optionally, the luminaire housing, and in particular the profile parts and / or the corner parts, each have a mounting surface for coupling with the light module. This configuration further eases attachment of the light module to the framework, respectively to the luminaire housing, and provides a further stable connection. Hereby preferably the light module: is placed on the luminaire housing from the outside on an upper side of the luminaire housing in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the profile parts of the luminaire housing; or is coupled to the luminaire housing via a hinge coupling forming a pivot axis, whereas the hinge coupling is formed between two corner parts of the luminaire housing on the luminaire housing, whereby the light module is placed on the luminaire housing in a pivoting movement about the pivot axis formed by the hinge coupling.
[0024] Hence, various forms of coupling between the luminaire housing and the light module are conceivable. While the hinged coupling (pivoted attaching) requires less additional fixation means - such as screws, pins or the like - for coupling the light module on the top side of the framework to at least some profile parts, as the hinges replace such fixation means, the coupling via straight-lined attaching the light module is less complex.
[0025] In a further alternative or additional exemplary embodiment thereof, the light module is preferably placed on the luminaire housing from the outside on an upper side of the luminaire housing in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the profile parts of the luminaire housing, wherein the two components are coupled to each other via coupling elements, e.g., formed by a snap-fit coupling comprising snap-in elements. Preferably these snap-in / snap-fit elements may be integrally formed with the luminaire housing and / or with the light module, establishing an utmost preferred secure, tight and easy coupling. This may also be realized with the coupling via the hinge coupling. Hence, preferably the luminaire housing and the light module are fixed to each other via fixation means, such as screws and / or snap-fit elements.
[0026] In a further alternative or additional exemplary embodiment, the light module is mounted on a top side of the luminaire housing, or the light module is mounted on a bottom side of the luminaire housing, or the light module is mounted on an inside of the luminaire housing. Here various light emissions are achievable, e.g., a direct or indirect light emission of the luminaire. Moreover, an edge lit light emission of the light module is implementable, in particular when the light module is attached to the framework at an inside of the luminaire housing, i.e., at one or more respective longitudinal profile parts. Furthermore, the light module may be configured for indirect light emission.
[0027] As apparent, each of the herein disclosed exemplary implementations can be combined with one another.
[0028] Therefore, various implementations of a luminaire housing and a luminaire are provided, each directed for further facilitating a flexible implementation of a luminaire housing and thus a luminaire for use in a ceiling or wall system.

[0030] Figures 1 to 3 show the assembly of an exemplary embodiment of a luminaire housing 10 according to the invention, whereas Figures 4 to 6 likewise show the assembly of a luminaire 1 based on the previously shown exemplary embodiment of a luminaire housing 10 of Figures 1 to 3. In Figures 7 to 11 further details of the luminaire housing 10, respectively of the luminaire 1, are shown. Figures 12, 13a and 13b show a further possible exemplary implementation of the corner part 200 and the connection with the respective profile parts 100 of the luminaire housing 10. Hereby different implementations of components of the luminaire housing 10, or the luminaire 1, are shown, whereas it is apparent that the different implementations of individual components of the luminaire housing 10 and the luminaire 1 are compatible with each other, so that individual features shown in the different Figures 1 to 13b are interchangeable.
[0031] Figure 1 shows an exemplary embodiment of a fully assembled luminaire housing 10 of a luminaire 1, for holding and receiving a light module 500 of the luminaire 1 and for use in a ceiling or wall system 1000. Figure 2 shows the respective exploded view of such an exemplary embodiment of a luminaire housing 10, wherein in this Figure arrows exemplary indicate the assembly steps of constructing such a luminaire housing 10 according to an embodiment.
[0032] As can be seen throughout the figures, the assembly of the luminaire housing 10 basically consists of putting together modular components, such that the resulting shape and dimension of the luminaire housing 10 is utmost flexible and can be easily adapted to respective lighting and / or construction scenario provided with a respective wall or ceiling.
[0033] As shown in the overview of Figures 1 to 6, the luminaire housing 10 comprises at least three longitudinal profile parts 100, forming side surfaces of the luminaire housing 10, wherein each profile part 100 extends along its longitudinal axis or respective length and extends perpendicular to its longitudinal axis over a respective height. In the shown exemplary embodiments each luminaire housing 10 comprises four longitudinal profile parts 100, whereas it is apparent that also luminaire housings 10 having just three longitudinal profile parts 100, or even more than four longitudinal profile parts 100, are possible.
[0034] Furthermore, the luminaire housing 10 comprises at least three corner parts 200 that define the corners of the luminaire housing 10. Herewith preferably the number of corner parts 200 matches the number of longitudinal profile parts 100 so that each side surface of the luminaire housing 10 is formed by just one profile part 100. The longitudinal profile parts 100 and the respective corner part 200 together form a framework onto which a respective light module 500 of the luminaire 1 is attachable on its topside. This framework constitutes the main structure of the luminaire housing 10.
[0035] As can be seen in Figures 1 to 6 in general and in Figures 7a, 7b, 8a, 8b, 9a and 9b in particular detail, the corner parts 200 are each pillar-shaped, each having a height extending in a direction that is substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the profile parts 100. To provide a stiff and durable framework, and thus a stiff and durable luminaire housing 10, each corner part 200 has coupling elements 201 for coupling with respective complementary coupling parts 110 of the respective profile parts 100. With this coupling between the different parts of the luminaire housing 10, assembly of the respective luminaire housing 10 is utmost easy and flexible, whereas with the use of profile parts 100 of different lengths, different dimensions of the luminaire housing 10 are achievable. Furthermore, each corner part 200 is configured to hold end sections 101 of respective two profile parts 100 in a fixed position near the respective coupling elements 201 so that a reproducible and durable coupling and thus an easy assembly of the framework is achieved. Hereby the coupling elements 201 of the corner part 200 engage with the corresponding complementary elements 110 of the respective profile parts 100, whereas in the shown exemplary embodiment the complementary coupling elements of the profile parts 100 may be formed by corresponding profiles, in particular inward recesses or outward recesses, which particularly preferably extend over the entire length of the profile part 100.
[0036] While the corner parts 200 possibly are formed by injection molding, the longitudinal profile parts 100 are ideally formed by extrusion, such that the length of the respective profile part 100 is easily and flexibly settable. Further, preferably the longitudinal profile parts are of aluminium material providing a light weight relatively stiff and durable extruded framework of the luminaire housing 10. The such configured components of the luminaire housing 10 are easily, cheaply and flexibly formed allowing for an individual configuration of a respective luminaire housing 10. With this freedom of flexibly using profile parts 100 of respective desired lengths full flexibility of built and combinations is achieved, so that a respective luminaire housing 10 or the respective resulting luminaire 1 is easily buildable and adaptable to respective lighting scenarios and respective boundary conditions possibly set by the wall or ceiling system 1000. This modular setup further improves flexibility of this assembly of the luminaire housing 10, and therefore improves maintenance of respective components of the luminaire housing 10 and thus of the luminaire 1.
[0037] As further shown in the figures, and especially in Figures 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7a, 7b, 10a and 10b the luminaire housing 10 may further comprise an optic 700, whereas the implementation of the optic 700 is not limited by the exemplary embodiments shown in these figures. Hereby the optic 700 is disposed within the luminaire housing 10 forming a light emission surface. Further, the optic 700 is attached to at least two of the profile parts 100. The coupling to at least two of the profile parts 100 leads to an additional increased stability of the assembly, whereas flexibility of dimension and form is preserved. As particular shown in Figure 3 respective end faces of the optic 700 are located and hereby preferably also retained within respective inner holding elements formed at an inner side of a lower edge 120 of the respective profile parts 100. These inner holding elements at the lower edge 120 encompasses the optic 700 from a top and from a bottom side of the end faces of the optic 700. Here, in the shown exemplary embodiment the optic 700 is fully enclosed within the framework formed by the respective profile parts 100 and the corresponding corner parts 200, wherein this assembly is secured with the coupling of the corner parts 200 and the profile parts 100 via the respective coupling elements 201, 110.
[0038] Moreover, different implementations of the optic 700 are conceivable, as indicated in particular in Figures 1 to 4 and Figures 6, 7a, 7b, 10a and 10b, whereby all exemplary implementations of the optic 700 have in common that the respective optic 700 is coupled to the framework, respectively the respective profile parts 100, in an area that is opposite to the area where the light module 500 is attached on the framework.
[0039] Hereby, in particularly the following implementations of the optic 700 are conceivable. In a first exemplary implementation of the optic 700, the optic 700 comprises one optical plate 705. Here, the optical plate 705 ideally is connected to all respective profile parts 100, and in particularly connected to the respective inner holding elements of the respective profile parts for attaching the optic 700. Such an embodiment is exemplary shown in Figure 6 and indicated in Figures 7a, 7b, 10a and 10b.
[0040] Figures 1 to 4 show a different exemplary embodiment of a respective optic 700, whereby here the optic 700 comprises three optical parts 710, 720, which comprise two lateral curved light guide elements 710 and a plate shaped central optical part 720 arranged in between the two lateral curved light guide elements 710, whereby between the central optical part 720 and each lateral curved light guide element 710 a coupling part 730 is provided, which connects the optical parts 710, 720 to each other. The coupling part 730 may hereby be formed by extrusion and may in particular be an aluminium extruded part. The coupling part 730 allows for an easy but durable and stable coupling of the individual component parts of the respective optic 700.
[0041] Another third exemplary embodiment of the optic 700 is achieved by an optic 700 comprising two curved light guide elements 710, which are connected to each other via a respective coupling part 730. Thus, the such formed optic 700 basically corresponds to the previously described second exemplary embodiment of the optic 700 but without having a plate shaped central optical part 720 and thus without having a second coupling part 730. This third exemplary embodiment is not shown in the figures. With embodiments of the optic 700 where respective curved light guide elements 710 are used, a support element 800 might be used, as indicated especially in Figures 1 and 2. The respective support element is hereby placed inside the luminaire housing 10 being in contact with the respective longitudinal profile part 100 and the optic 700, and hereby in particular with the curved edge of the curved light guide element 710.
[0042] Furthermore, these support elements 800 may be used to eliminate potential light leaks in the area between the curved edge of the optic 700 and the respective adjacent profile part 100. Here, as the profile part 100 does not have respective inner holding elements for attaching the curved edge of the optic 700, the support element 800 fills a potential gap and thus supports the structure of the luminaire housing 10 and further achieves an optical sealing of the luminaire housing 10.
[0043] As exemplary shown in particular in Figures 4 and 5, the aforementioned light module 500 of the luminaire 1 is mounted on top of the luminaire housing 10, and hereby in particular on the top side of the framework formed by the profile parts 100 and potentially also on top of respective areas of the respective corner parts 200 depending on the respective embodiment of the corner parts 200. Hereby the light module 500 comprises at least one light source 510, wherein the light module 500 may also comprise a base plate 520, on which the at least one light source 510 is mounted on. The base plate 520 may hereby also act as an upper cover of the luminaire 1, closing off the luminaire housing 10 from its top side. The base plate 520 may hereby also provide attachment areas for attaching additional elements to the luminaire 1, such as, e.g., sensors.
[0044] Hereby it is in particular conceivable that the luminaire housing 10 has - and hereby preferably the profile parts 100 and / or the corner parts 200 each have - a mounting surface 130, 240 for coupling with the light module 500. This implementation eases the connection between the luminaire housing 10 and the light module 500 to form the luminaire 1. The attaching and connecting of the light module 500 with the luminaire housing 10 may be performed in various conceivable ways.
[0045] The example attachment method shown in Figure 4 illustrates the placement of the light module 500 on the luminaire housing 10 from the outside on an upper side of the luminaire housing 10 in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the profile parts 100 of the luminaire housing 10, such that the light module 500 is set on top of the luminaire housing 10 in a straight movement. Hereby the light module 500 preferably is further secured on top of the luminaire housing 10 with respective fixings, for example screws, pins or the like.
[0046] Another implementation of the coupling of the luminaire housing 10 and the light module 500, that is not shown in the figures, may be implemented via a hinge coupling, whereas hereby the respective hinge coupling forms a pivot axis, whereas the hinge coupling is formed between two corner parts 200 on the luminaire housing 10, whereby the light module 500 is placed on the luminaire housing 10 in a pivoting movement about the pivot axis formed by the respective hinge coupling. Hereby this implementation, with the pivot axis formed in between two corner parts 200 that are connected via one profile part 100, enables the light module 500 being pivoted around this axis such that the total number of fixation points can be reduced, as, e.g., additional fixings at the side of the hinge are not required, as this side of the light module 500 is connected to the luminaire housing 10 via the hinges at the respective corner parts 200.
[0047] In a further alternative exemplary embodiment, the coupling between the light module 500 and the luminaire housing 10 may be realized via a snap-fit coupling, preferably comprising snap-in elements, whereas these elements may be integrally formed with the respective luminaire housing 10, and hereby in particular with the framework thereof, and / or the light module 500 per se. This implementation further preferably is realized with the embodiment of the light module 500 being placed on the luminaire housing 10 from the outside on an upper side of the luminaire housing 10 in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the profile parts 100 of the luminaire housing 100. Whereas as already mentioned, the attachment of the light module 500 to the luminaire housing 10 may also be performed from a bottom side. Furthermore, a coupling of the light module 500 to an inner side, respectively to the inside, of the framework of the luminaire housing 10 is conceivable. Moreover, different light emissions such as a direct or indirect light emission, and furthermore an edge lit light module 500 may be used in other exemplary embodiments.
[0048] With the light module 500 connected to the luminaire housing 10, and in particular being placed on top of the luminaire housing 10, the luminaire 1 is formed. To further ease installation of the luminaire housing 10, respectively of the luminaire 1, in a respective ceiling or wall system 1000 the luminaire housing 10, respectively the luminaire 1, preferably also comprises a mounting mechanism 20 for holding the luminaire housing 10, respectively the luminaire 1, in the ceiling or wall system 1000, as exemplary shown in Figures 5, 6, 9a and 9b in detail. In the exemplary embodiments shown in these figures, the mounting mechanism 20 comprises one mounting arm 300 per corner part 200, wherein each mounting arm 300 is transferable from a respective mounting position PM to a respective operating position PO via a transitional movement M3. This transfer from the mounting position to a respective operating position PO shown in detail in Figures 9a and 9b.
[0049] While Figures 9a and 9b solely show one corner segment of the luminaire housing 10, the respective shown and described mounting mechanism 20 is equally valid for the other corner parts 200. Hence, when a respective function or mechanism is described herein with regard to one corner part 200 or its respective mounting mechanism 20, all respectively present mounting mechanisms 20 and thus mounting arms 400 and further components belonging thereto are likewise included.
[0050] With a mounting mechanism 20 at hand, it is achieved to mount the luminaire housing 10, respectively the luminaire 1 inside a respective recess in a wall or in a ceiling, in particular of a wall or a ceiling system 1000, by activating the mounting mechanism 20 upon installation of the luminaire housing 10, respectively the luminaire 1, such that the mounting mechanism 20 interacts with respect to certain structures of a wall or a ceiling, to hold the luminaire housing 10 in place. The mounting position PM of the respective mounting mechanism 20, respectively of each mounting arm 300, hereby allows an easy and straightforward installation of the luminaire housing 10, whereas the operating position PO of the respective mounting mechanism 20, respectively the mounting arm 300, fixes the luminaire housing 10 in place. Hereby it is conceivable that the mounting arm 300 of each corner part 200 forms a contact surface in the operating position PO that interacts with respective parts of a wall or a ceiling. However, it is likewise conceivable that the mounting arm 300 in its operating position PO clamps the luminaire housing 10 to respective structures of a wall or a ceiling, whereby hereby the clamping is realized by the mounting arm 300 interacting with respect to the structures of the wall or ceiling from an inside of a respective recess configured for mounting the luminaire housing 10 and by an additional flange structure realized at each lower edge 120 of the respective profile parts 100 on an outside facing surface of the respective profile parts 100. Hereby each of the flange structure interacts with a respective adjacent surface of the wall or ceiling, such that the clamping is realized holding the luminaire housing 10, respectively the luminaire 1 in place. In this clamping area in between the mounting arm 300 and the respective flange structure at the respective lower edges 120 of the respective profile parts 100 the respective wall or ceiling system 1000, respectively wall or ceiling structures 1010 or surfaces 1010 thereof, is arranged, holding the luminaire housing 10 in the respective opening as schematically illustrated in Figure 9b. As further indicated in Figure 9b at the corner part 200 the corresponding clamping element may be realized by a respective flange portion of the bottom part 230 of the corner part 200 itself, or by - if present - a respective corner panel 610 attached thereto.
[0051] In the shown exemplary embodiments of Figure 5, 6, 9a and 9b the mounting arm 300 is attached to the corner part 200 from an outer side of the luminaire housing 10 in the mounting position PM of the mounting arm 300. This is in particular shown in Figure 9a where the mounting position PM is explicitly displayed, whereas it is apparent therefrom that in the mounting position PM the mounting mechanism 20 is positioned preferably in such a way that the exterior profile of the luminaire housing 10 is reduced to a minimum, with the mounting mechanism 20 abutting an outer surface of the framework, and hereby in particular of the respective corner part 200 and / or a respective adjacent profile part 100. In Figure 9b the operating position PO of the mounting arm 300 is shown, whereby it is apparent therefrom that the mounting arm 300 hereby contacts a respective surface 1010 of the ceiling or wall system 1000 holding the luminaire housing 10 on the ceiling or wall system 1000.
[0052] As shown in detail in the therein shown exemplary embodiments of a mounting mechanism 20 of Figures 7b, 9a and 9b, each of the mounting arms 300 has a base section 320 and a contact lug 310 coupled thereto, wherein in the mounting position PM and in the operating position PO the base section 320 is positioned in a received manner in the corner part 200 and wherein the contact lug 310 is arranged abutting against the respective profile part 100 and / or the respective corner part 200 in the mounting position PM and is arranged projecting from the luminaire housing 10 and in particular from the corner part 200 in its operating position PO. In the operating position PO the contact with the respective surface 1010 of the ceiling or wall system 1000 is established via the contact lug 310 as it is configured to interact with the respective surface 1010.
[0053] The transitional movement M3 that brings the mounting arm 300 from its respective mounting position PM to its respective operating position PO ideally is limited, whereby here preferably each of the mounting arms 300 has a guiding element that interacts with a surface of the corner part 200 upon reaching the respective operating position PO of the mounting arm 300.
[0054] To further increase flexibility of the mounting mechanism 20, extending the operation scenarios where the luminaire housing 10, and thus the luminaire 1, can be mounted to a respective wall or ceiling, the mounting mechanism 20 further comprises an adjustment element that preferably further holds the mounting arm 300 of the mounting system 20 into position at the corner part 200. This adjustment element exemplary can be realized as an adjustment rod 400. Purely exemplary in the following this adjustment rod 400 is shown and described as a threaded rod 400, whereas the underlying function described herein likewise applies to other forms of such an adjustment rod 400.
[0055] As indicated in Figures 9a and 9b the respective rod 400 has a top section 420 and a body section 410, wherein preferably only the body section 410 comprises interaction elements for exercising a movement of the respective mounting mechanism 20, and in particular of the mounting arm 300. Of course, it is also conceivable that respective interaction elements are present at the top section 420 as well. In the shown exemplary embodiments the interaction elements are formed by an outer thread that is configured to interact with the corner part 200 (and hereby in particular with the bore 203 and / or the bore 204) as well as the mounting arm 300 per se.
[0056] Hence, in the shown exemplary embodiments the mounting mechanism 20, preferably at each corner part 200, comprises a further rod 400 for actuating and holding the respective mounting arm 300. For actuating and holding the respective mounting arm 300, the respective threaded rod 400 interacts with the respective corner part 200 and the respective mounting arm 300. In the state where the respective threaded rod 400 is coupled to the respective corner part 200 it extends substantially in parallel to the height of the respective corner part 200, as in particular visible in Figure 9b.
[0057] The threaded rod 400 and the operation thereof is shown in detail in Figures 9a and 9b. Hereby, as shown in Figure 9a, a respective threaded rod 400 is inserted into the respective corner part 200 from an underside of a respective corner part 200 through a bore 203 in the bottom part 230 of the corner part 200 in an insertion movement M1 in insertion direction M1. Here in the inserted state of the threaded rod 400, it interacts with the mounting arm 300 such that the transitional movement M3 is performed, transferring the mounting arm 300 from its mounting position PM to its operating position PO, and vice versa. The bore 203 hereby preferably itself comprises an element having an internal thread that interacts with the rod 400.
[0058] As indicated in Figure 9a the threaded rod 400 is inserted into the base part 320 of the mounting arm 300 by actuating the threaded rod 400 in actuating direction M2 of the threaded rod 400. With this insertion and actuation in actuating direction M2 of the threaded rod 400 into the mounting arm 300, the mounting arm 300 is transferred from its mounting position PM into its operating position PO in the transitional movement M3, wherein hereby the transitional movement M3 is a pivoting movement around its pivoting axis formed by the threaded rod 400 itself.
[0059] In the operating position PO of the mounting arm 300 the positioning height of the mounting arm 300 relative to the corner part 200 is adjustable, so that the aforementioned clamped mounting of the luminaire housing 10 to the respective wall or ceiling system 1000 is realized. This height positioning adjustment is in particular shown in Figure 9b and indicated with the movement M4 of the mounting arm 300 along the threaded rod 400, wherein the movement M4 is the height adjustment movement. Hereby based on the actuation direction of the threaded rod 400, the mounting arm 300 is either lifted or lowered along the threaded rod 400, so that the mounting mechanism 20 is easily adjustable to a respective thickness of a respective wall or ceiling structure 1010 of the wall or ceiling system 1000, where the luminaire housing 10 is to be mounted in. Thus, each mounting arm 300 is individually adjustable in its operating position PO with respect to its positioning along the threaded rod 400 parallel to the height extension axis of the respective corner part 200. Hence, this mounting mechanism 20, and thus in particular this luminaire housing 10, allows for different thicknesses of the respective structure 1010 present at the wall or ceiling recess of the wall or ceiling system 1000.
[0060] In the different exemplary embodiments of the corner parts 200 shown in Figures 8a, 8b, 9a and 9b in particular, each corner part 200 comprises a complementary bore 204 for receiving the top 420 of the threaded rod 400 at the top part 210 of the respective corner part 200. Here, in the shown example the complementary bore 204 for receiving the top 420 of threaded rod 400 is configured to accommodate the threaded rod 400 in a freely rotatable manner. While allowing for a free rotation of the threaded rod 400, the complementary bore 204 may additionally be configured to hold the threaded rod 400 inside the corner part 200, as well. Moreover, the base part 320 of each mounting arm 300 may have an internal thread into which the respective threaded rod 400 is inserted, thus securing the threaded rod inside the corner part 200, and allowing for a rotational actuation of the threaded rod 400 in a preferred exemplary implementation.
[0061] The herein shown directional movements M2 and M2', as well as M3 and M3' are merely exemplary and could also be swapped with regard to their direction.
[0062] As indicated in Figure 9b with further actuation of the threaded rod 400 in actuation direction M2, the mounting arm 300 is moveable along the threaded rod 400 in a direction towards the bottom part 230 of the corner part 200 into a minimum position in a region of the bottom part 230 of the corner part 200. This movement is reversible with actuation of the threaded rod 400 in an inverse actuation direction M2', such that the respective mounting arm 300 can be brought back into its maximum position, which is in the region at the top part 210 of the respective corner part 200. Here, with the mounting arm 300 being in its respective maximum position and a further actuation of the rod 400 in inverse actuation direction M2' the mounting arm 300 is transferable back from the operating position PO into its mounting position PM in a respective opposite transitional movement M3'.
[0063] Thus, the mounting arm 300 is transferable from a position of the top part 210 of the corner part 200 to the bottom part 230 of the corner part 200 whereas also a positioning in between and thus in a middle part 220 of the corner part 200 is possible.
[0064] Also implementations of the corner part 200 having lateral guide elements 202 arranged between the bore 203 and the base part 230 and the top or head part 210 is possible as shown in Figures 9a and 9b. In implementations where the top part 210 comprises a respective top bore 204 the aforementioned lateral guide elements 202 may be arranged between the bore 203 in the base part 230 and the bore 204 in the top part 210 of the respective corner part 200. These lateral guide elements 202 are configured for receiving and guiding a mounting arm 300 coupled to the threaded rod 400 in its operating position PO wherein the lateral guide elements 202 preferably extend substantially along the height of the respective corner part 200.
[0065] However, also different implementations of the corner part 200 are possible, as shown in Figures 8a and 8b for example, whereas these corner parts do not have such guide elements 202. In either implementation as exemplary known from Figures 8a, 8b, 9a and 9b, it is possible that the mounting arm 300 comprises a guiding element that interacts with a respective surface of a corner part 200 upon reaching the respective operating position PO of the mounting arm 300 and thus limiting the transitional movement M3. Further, this guiding element may be used additionally or alternatively to guide a respective movement from the mounting arm along the height of the corner part 200. A particular preferred synergy can be achieved with each mounting arm 300 having a respective guiding element that interacts with a respective lateral guide element 202 of a corner part 200. Therefore, this mounting mechanism 20 with the threaded rod 400 as the actuation element and the mounting arm 300 as the adjusted element an utmost easy, durable, stable and flexible mounting of the luminaire housing 10, and thus of the luminaire 1, is achieved.
[0066] As apparent from the provided figures, different implementations of the corner parts 200 are conceivable. Hereby in Figures 8a, 8b, 9a and 9b two exemplary embodiments thereof are shown. Independent of the respective spectated corner part 200 it is further apparent that each corner part 200 has coupling elements 201 for coupling with the respective complementary coupling parts 110 of the respective profile parts 100. Here, the coupling elements 201 of a respective corner part 200 may be positioned in a top part 210, in a middle part 220 and / or in a bottom part 230 of the respective corner part 200. Further apparent from the figures multiple coupling elements 201 can be present per corner part 200, whereas preferably the coupling elements 201 are configured for an insertion into the respective complementary coupling parts 110 of the profile part 100. Also, the complementary coupling parts 110 of the respective profile parts 100 may be formed on an inner facing surface of the respective profile part 100 and / or may alternatively or additionally by present at an outward facing side surface of the respective profile part 100.
[0067] As indicated in Figures 8a and 8b, it is however also conceivable that the coupling elements 201 are additionally or alternatively formed comprising a respective fixation element (not shown in the figures) that is to be inserted in a respective hole element of the corner part 200 reaching into a respective adjacent complementary hole element at the profile part 100 to establish a fixation of the corner part 200 to the respective profile part 100.
[0068] Preferably however the coupling elements 201 are formed as insertion coupling elements 201 providing a snap-fit coupling with the respective complementary coupling parts 110 of the respective profile part 100. Here snap-in elements may be available at the respective coupling part 110 or coupling element 201. Such an implementation of the corner part 200 is in particular shown in Figures 1 to 9b, as well as Figures 12, 13a and 13b. In Figures 6, 7a, 7b, 8a, and 8b the corner part 200 additionally comprises besides the insertion coupling elements 201 also coupling elements 201 for a screwed coupling. Hence, it is apparent that in Figures 1 to 5, and 9a and 9b a first possible exemplary implementation of corner elements 200 is shown, whereas in Figures 6 to 8b a second possible exemplary implementation of corner elements 200 is shown, and in Figures 12, 13a, and 13b a third possible exemplary implementation of corner elements 200 is shown. However, it is further apparent, that each of the individual characteristics of a respective exemplary implementation of corner elements 200 is transferable to each of the other exemplary implementations of corner elements 200. Hence - although not illustrated in Figures 12, 13a, and 13b - it is, e.g., also conceivable that the therein shown corner element 200 is adapted for comprising a respective mounting mechanism 20, with a respective mounting arm 300, and potentially also with a respective threaded rod 400 for an easy actuation of the mounting arm 300. Same applies, e.g., for the inclusion of a respective mounting surface 240, and so forth.
[0069] As indicated in Figure 7b in combination with Figures 8a and 8b as well as Figures 9a and 9b, the coupling elements 201 with the base part 230 respectively the bottom part 230 of the corner part 200 may be realized by in insertion coupling element 201 that reaches into an outer flange portion of the lower edge 120 of each profile part 100. Such insertion coupling elements 201 can also be available at the top part 210 and / or the middle part 220 of the corner part 200. As already described, respective guide elements 202 may be available at the corner part 200, to guide a respective inserted mounting arm 300, increasing stability of the mounting mechanism 20. Furthermore, the top part 210 or the head part 210 of the corner part 200 may comprise a mounting surface 240 that is configured for a coupling with the respective light module 500 of the luminaire 1.
[0070] The exemplary implementation of the corner part 200 shown in Figures 12, 13a, and 13b, is configured for a complete clamped connection between the corner part 200 and the respective profile parts 100. Here, various implementations of the coupling elements 201 are present, whereas in the head part 210 the coupling elements 201 form guiding elements and stop collars for receiving the respective end section 101 of the respective profile part 100, and for engaging with respective corresponding coupling parts 110 of the profile part 100. In the middle part 220 respective insertion coupling elements 201 are present that engage with respective corresponding coupling parts 110 of the profile part 110. Here, also a clip coupling element 201 is also present, whereas this element comprises a clip nose 201a that interacts with a respective surface of the respective profile part 100 and hereby forms a clamped fixation. Also the coupling element 201 at the bottom part engaging with a respective lower edge 120 of the profile part 100 is present. Hence, with this exemplary embodiment of the corner part 200 a utmost durable and stiff connection between the components of the framework is achieved, without the need for tools upon assembly of the luminaire housing 10, and without the need for screws or other additional fixation means for constructing the framework. The described features of the exemplary embodiment of Figures 12, 13a and 13b may also be transferred to any other herein disclosed exemplary embodiment of the respective components of the luminaire 1, and thus the luminaire housing 10, and vice versa.
[0071] As further shown in Figure 7a, 7b, 9a and 9b and indicated in Figure 1, 2 and 4, the longitudinal profile parts 100 may comprise respective mounting surface 130 (respectively mounting structure 130) for coupling with the light module 500 of the luminaire 1. Here, the profile parts 100 each may not only provide a contact face on their top part, i.e. at their upper side, but also additionally provide insertion recesses for receiving a respective fixation mean, such as a screw or a pin or the like, to fixedly mount the light module 500 thereon.
[0072] As previously mentioned, at the lower edge 120 of each profile part 100 an outward facing flange element may be present for providing a counter part for the clamping mechanism of the mounting mechanism 20 and on the inner facing side of the respective lower edge 120 a respective protrusion can be present as illustrated in Figures 3, 7a and 7b in detail. This inner facing protrusion may be used for contacting the optic 700 and providing a contact face therefor.
[0073] Moreover, implementations of the respective present profile parts 100 are conceivable where the profile parts 100 may differ, e.g., with regard to the positioning of the respective coupling elements 201. As exemplary shown in the different embodiments of Figures 8 and 9, it is also possible that a respective profile part 100 of the luminaire housing 10 (except for the respective desired length) is formed identically to the other present profile parts 100 of the luminaire housing 10. It is merely relevant that the respective profile parts 100 and the respective corner parts 200 of the respective luminaire housing 10 match the respective configuration so that each corner part 200 is configured to hold end sections 101 of respective two of the respective present profile parts 100 in a fixed position via the respective coupling elements 201.
[0074] While it is possible that the profile parts 100 only have their complementary coupling parts 110 at their respective end sections 101, it is preferred that the profile parts 100 are each formed by extrusion, and thus are formed uniform over their entire length. In particular the profile parts 100 may be formed by aluminium extrusion, and thus may at least consist and preferably are made out of aluminium material. The corner parts 200 may be made out of a metal material, such as aluminium, or may be made out of plastic material. Preferably, the corner parts 200 are formed by injection molding.
[0075] Figures 10a and 10b show the luminaire housing 10, respectively the luminaire 1, mounted in a respective wall or ceiling system 1000, whereas respective structures 1010 forming the respective recess of the wall or ceiling system 1000 where the luminaire 1 - respectively the luminaire housing 10 - is mounted therein, is shown. Here, a luminaire housing 10 is inserted in the respective opening of the wall or ceiling system 1000 and fixedly mounted via the mounting mechanism 20. In particular a mounting mechanism 20, as shown in its various implementations of Figures 6, 7a, 7b, 8a, 8b, 9a and 9b, can be used for this purpose. Here, the mounting mechanism 20 can be activated and / or deactivated from the underside of the luminaire housing 10 as the mechanism is made accessible via the bore 203 in which the threaded rod 400 can be inserted into the corner part 200 such that the threaded rod 400 interacts with the mounting arm 300 placed in its mounting position PM in the respective top part 210 of the respective corner part 200.
[0076] After fixation of the luminaire housing 10, respectively the luminaire 1, the remaining bore opening 203 is visible from the underside of the luminaire 1, such that an unauthorized manipulation of the mounting mechanism 20 is not prevented without further ado, as the bore 203 is visible from the underside of the luminaire 1, and furthermore is also open. Hereby, external influences can enter the housing 10 via this open bore 203 and potentially damage the mounting mechanism 20 in particular. To increase the lifespan of the luminaire housing 10 and its components, each corner part 200 can be equipped with a respective cover 600 that covers at least the bore 203 and preferably also the bottom part 230 from the underside of the respective corner part 200.
[0077] The Figures 6, 7a, 7b, 9a, 9b, 10b and 11, as well as Figures 12, 13a, and 13b each exemplary show different implementations of a respective cover 600 for a respective corner part 200. The cheapest and most simple solution for covering the respective bore 203 is hereby realized by inserting a cap 620 into the bore 203 in the bottom part 23, wherein the cap 620 covers the respective bore 203 from the underside, preferably in a flush manner. This is illustrated in Figure 10b.
[0078] Figures 6, 7a, 7b, 9a and 9b as well as Figure 11 show a different implementation of the cover 600. Hereby, the cover 600 is formed by a corner panel 610, which covers the bottom part 230 of the corner part 200 from the underside, and which interacts with the respective corner part 200 and / or the respective adjacent profile parts 100 of the respective corner part 200 by means of at least one coupling element 612a, 612b, 612c, being held fixedly to the luminaire housing 10, and wherein preferably the at least one coupling element 612a, 612b, 612c is formed by a latching element 612a, 612b or by a slide in element 612c. The Figures 7b and 11 column A, column B, and column C each show respective latching elements 612a, 612b that are used for a latching connection with the respective bottom part 230 of a respective corner part 200. Hereby, the respective latching element 612a or 612b snaps in the bore 203 and thus is fixedly mounted on the corner part 200. In the alternative slide-in elements 612c, which are shown in column D of Figure 11, could be used wherein hereby these slide-in elements 612c interact with the respective lower edge 120 of the profile parts 100, and hereby in particular with a respective outer flange portion of the respective lower edges 120 of the respective profile parts 100.
[0079] The different kinds of latching elements 612a and 612b shown in the implementations of the corner panel 610 may be used in different scenarios where respective requirements concerning the stability and / or a respective sealing of the cover 600 is desired. The implementation with the corner panel 610 as a cover of the bore 203 from the underside further increases aesthetics and sealing of the luminaire housing 10. Furthermore, the shape of the respective corner panel 610 may differ depending on the respective situation where the luminaire 1 is to be used.
