AI Technical Summary
Existing materials for transitions between the interior and exterior of a building, such as ground brick, Ytong, wood, and tiles, are weather-resistant but lack durability and stability, requiring frequent reconstruction and additional treatments, and more durable materials like ground brick and Ytong suffer from early wear and cracking.
A reinforced concrete stair integrated with metal reinforcement and thermal insulation, embedded in the floor subfloor, forming part of the external wall, providing structural stability and energy efficiency.
The reinforced concrete stair ensures long-term durability and stability, resisting weather and load, reducing the need for frequent reconstruction and maintaining structural integrity.

Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The technical solution concerns part of the building structure of the residential building. Background Art
[0002] From the state of the art, technical solutions in the form of special steps implemented under the threshold of the entrance to the building are known in relation to the transitions to the terrace between the interior and exterior of the building. Such steps are mostly made of ground brick, Ytong building material, plasterboard, OSB, wood, parquet, cavity sills or tiles. Such materials or technical solutions are themselves proving problematic, insufficient and unsustainable in long-term use.
[0003] Materials such as wood and plastic are the least weather-resistant of these solutions. Their relatively short service life undermines their technical properties, and their use risks the need for frequent, labour-intensive and costly reconstruction.
[0004] Similarly, more durable materials, such as ground brick or Ytong, are subject to relatively early wear, cracking and crumbling in practice. Although the weather resistance may be higher for these types of materials, under load these materials are, on the contrary, characterised by significantly lower quality properties than wood or plastic.
[0005] All of the above materials have been shown to be poorly resistant to shaking of infill structures and bring with them overall instability of the structure, including various deformations or destruction of finishes. This entails the need for additional special treatments and therefore the implementation of these solutions is quite technically complicated, requires increased expertise and is ultimately inefficient for the building as a whole.Description
[0006] The low resistance of the technical solutions of the transitions to the terrace between the interior and exterior of the building to loads and weather influences brings with it the need to provide a technical solution that will be functional and energy efficient in the long term, i.e. that will meet the conditions of a quality and durable transition between the interior and exterior of the building.
[0007] Such a durable technical solution is a reinforced concrete stair to the exterior terrace of the building forming a transition between the interior and exterior of the building.
[0008] The reinforced concrete stair is structurally part of the floor subfloor and also forms the underground part of the external wall (points 1 and 4 of Drawing No. 1). It is realised by impregnating metal reinforcement into the reinforced concrete structure under the floor of the ground floor of the building, with a drainage to the terrace(s) below the terrace, thus guaranteeing its anchorage to the floor of the building (point 3 of Drawing No. 1).
[0009] It consists of concrete STN EN 206-1 of strength class C12 / 15 and steel reinforcing bars (roxor) at least 20 mm thick, placed vertically at intervals of no more than 250 mm, embedded in the floor reinforced concrete at least 1 / 3 of the length of the bar.
[0010] Since the reinforced concrete stair to a patio itself is an underground part of the external wall, its technical solution includes external thermal insulation, which in this case consists of a purenite insulation board. In addition to breaking the thermal bridge, this insulation board is also characterised by its significant resistance to physical loads, so that, for example, a window frame can be fixed to it (point 6 of Drawing No. 1). The minimum width of the purenite insulation board is ½ the width of the reinforced concrete stair to a patio, and the height corresponds to the height of the reinforced stair to a patio.
[0011] An essential and significant component is the core of the reinforced concrete stair to a patio itself, which, despite any surface wear to the step or the boarding layer, remains durable and strong, well beyond the durability of the other alternatives in practice as described in the prior art section.Drawings description Drawing No. 1:
[0012] Graphical representation of the reinforced concrete stair to a patio together with the legend. Legend: 1. The construction of reinforced concrete stair to a patio 2. Thermal insulation of the living space one storey below min. 240 mm. 3. Reinforced concrete structure of the building. 4. Reinforced concrete construction of the stair to a patio, stressed part. 5. Level of the exterior terrace (due to the composition of the terrible layers of the living space one storey below, the level of the terrace is higher than the interior floor). 6. Purenite, solid thermal insulation. 7. Finishing of the reinforced concrete stair to a patio. Drawing No. 2
[0013] Cross-section of the building with detailed technical representation of the reinforced concrete stair to a patio.Example
[0014] The most suitable implementation of the reinforced concrete stair to a patio according to the technical solution and its essence is explained by the example of the implementation shown in Drawing No. 1.
[0015] The reinforced concrete stair shall be constructed at a height according to the lower threshold height specified in the design documentation and at different widths (according to the construction parameters) from the external floor boundary.
[0016] The surface of the reinforced concrete stair can be modified in any way, depending on the need or interior design. The base of the staircase can be plastered, tiled, parquet or, in industrial style, rendered concrete. The landing can have a parquet surface, but most often a solid parapet with a wooden core.Industrial applications
[0017] The above description of the technical solution is also obvious in the way of its industrial application within the construction of residential buildings.
