Description

AREA OF INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates to a fastening device for a lighting unit and a lighting unit. TECHNICAL BACKGROUND

[0002] Lighting units are known for lighting purposes, which are used, for example, in television, studio or theatre productions, wherein such lighting units are attached or suspended on appropriate devices, for example brackets, stands, tripods or ceiling constructions, to achieve optimal illumination, to produce certain lighting effects or the like.

[0003] For this purpose, the lighting units often have special mounting devices, which allow the lighting units to be suspended and secured against falling, for example, although this usually requires various mounting elements, accessories or tools, which means a complex handling process for a user.

[0004] Front-facing suspensions or securing devices are particularly difficult, as they usually require an eye bolt or other protruding elements to ensure suspension or securing. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0005] Against this background, the present invention aims to provide a fastening device for a lighting unit and a lighting unit that allows for easy handling and flexible use, as well as being cost-effective and easy to manufacture.

[0006] Furthermore, it is advantageous to achieve a front-side suspension or securing device that requires very little installation space.

[0007] According to the invention, this problem is solved by a fastening device with the features of independent claim 1 and by a lighting unit with the features of independent claim 11.

[0008] Accordingly, the following is planned: A fastening device for a lighting unit, wherein the fastening device is configured to attach a suspension for suspending the lighting unit, comprising a base body that can be arranged on the lighting unit and has at least one recess for receiving the suspension, the recess being formed on an outer surface of the base body, and at least one fastening element that is arranged on the outer surface of the base body corresponding to the at least one recess, such that the suspension is held by the fastening element. A lighting unit comprising at least one lighting housing and at least one fastening device according to the embodiment described above, wherein the fastening device is arranged or can be arranged on an end face of the lighting housing.

[0009] The underlying idea of the present invention is to provide the user with a simple handling and flexible means of suspending a lighting unit by means of the fastening device. For this purpose, the fastening device comprises at least one fastening element arranged corresponding to the recess, to which the user can easily attach the suspension in order to suspend and / or secure the lighting unit. The suspension can preferably be a rope, cord, string, wire rope, cable tie, or any other substantially flexible element suitable for suspending the lighting unit.

[0010] The suspension can alternatively or additionally be designed as a safety element or safety device. Such a suspension designed as a safety element or safety device can, for example, be provided to prevent the lighting unit from falling in the event of a failure of another fastening device for attaching or suspending the lighting unit.

[0011] The lighting units are designed, for example, as elongated luminaires. Other forms of lighting units are also conceivable. The lighting units can, for example, be LED lights, halogen lights, fluorescent lamps, or the like.

[0012] According to an advantageous embodiment, the base body can be arranged on an end face of the lighting unit and / or form an end face of the lighting unit, and the at least one fastening element can be positioned on the end face of the base body. Preferably, the at least one fastening element can be positioned on the end face of the base body along a center-of-gravity axis of the lighting unit. The center-of-gravity axis of the lighting unit preferably runs along a longitudinal extent of the lighting unit. By positioning the at least one fastening element on the end face and / or along the center-of-gravity axis of the lighting unit, the lighting unit can be suspended vertically from the suspension. This eliminates the need to align the lighting unit during suspension, thus enabling a user to quickly and easily attach the suspension to the lighting unit.

[0013] According to an advantageous embodiment, the at least one fastening element can be detachably attached to the base body or be integrally formed with the base body. In particular, the fastening element forms a flush or flat end face, i.e., a flush or flat termination of the lighting unit. This allows for a compact design of the fastening device without disruptive protrusions or projections, thereby saving installation space and improving the visual appearance.

[0014] According to an advantageous embodiment, the at least one fastening element can have at least one passage as access to the recess and at least one further passage as exit from the recess, with a fastening section for attaching the suspension being formed between the passages. Because the fastening section is provided between the spaced-apart passages, it can preferably form a web-shaped section of the fastening element around which the suspension for hanging the lighting unit can be guided. This allows for easy attachment of the suspension to the fastening section.

[0015] According to an advantageous embodiment, the at least one fastening element can be formed by an end plate arranged on the end face of the base body. Preferably, the end plate can be screwed to the end face of the base body and thus detachably connected to it. Alternatively or additionally, the end plate can be attached to the base body by a snap-fit connection or permanently attached to the base body, for example, by a positive-locking connection, a weld, a soldered connection, an adhesive bond, or the like. The end plate is preferably designed as a flat, plate-shaped element. Preferably, the end plate partially or completely covers the end face of the base body and / or forms a flat end face of the lighting unit.

[0016] According to an advantageous embodiment, the recess allows the suspension to be guided in such a way that it can be deflected by at least 90°. In particular, the recess allows the suspension to be deflected by at least 90° to 180°. By forming a guide for the suspension through which it can be deflected by at least 90°, the recess provides a simple way to attach the suspension to the fastening element. The user can insert the suspension into the recess from the end face, where it is deflected by at least 90° within the recess, so that it can automatically be guided back out of the recess from the end face.In particular, such attachment of the suspension can be carried out by the user without tools, for example by attaching the suspension to the fastening element with one hand, which can provide particularly easy handling for the user.

[0017] According to an advantageous embodiment, the recess can have an inner contour acting as a deflector, configured such that a suspension, which can be inserted into the recess and is at least partially flexible, can be deflected along the inner contour and then guided back out of the recess. In particular, the inner contour of the recess is designed such that the suspension is deflected by the inner contour in such a way that it is guided around the preferably web-shaped mounting section. This allows the user to easily attach the suspension, which, as previously described, is preferably a rope, cord, string, wire rope, cable tie, or the like, to the mounting section without the need for cumbersome manual threading or similar procedures.

[0018] According to an advantageous embodiment, the inner contour of the recess, which acts as a deflector, can have at least one insertion ramp associated with at least one passage and at least one exit ramp associated with at least one further passage. Preferably, the insertion ramp and / or the exit ramp can be inclined at an angle of at most 80°, preferably at most 70°, more preferably at most 60°, and / or at least 10°, preferably at least 20°, more preferably at least 30°, with respect to a bottom section of the recess. By inclined the insertion ramp and / or the exit ramp at such an angle with respect to the bottom section of the recess, optimal guidance and deflection of the suspension by at least 90° can be achieved. In particular, this can ensure that the essentially flexible suspension within the recess does not kink and thus become blocked.

[0019] According to an advantageous embodiment, the recess can form a V-shaped or U-shaped inner contour in cross-section, at least partially, and / or the recess can have a flat and / or curved bottom section. Such a V-shaped or U-shaped inner contour of the recess allows for a secure deflection of the suspension without buckling during deflection. However, the inner contour of the recess is not limited to such a V-shaped or U-shaped contour, but can instead have any configuration that enables a secure deflection of the suspension within the recess. For example, the recess can also have a semi-spherical, parabolic, or similar inner contour.

[0020] According to an advantageous embodiment, a coupling device for a securing element can be provided on the base body and / or a securing element can be arranged on the base body. Preferably, the coupling device can be provided on the end face of the base body. Such a coupling device can be designed, in particular, to attach an additional securing device to the lighting unit in addition to the suspension, so that the lighting unit is protected from falling in the event of a suspension failure. The coupling device can, for example, be designed by a threaded bore in the base body into which the securing element, such as an eye bolt, eyelet, hook, or the like, is screwed in order to attach the securing device. Alternatively or additionally, the coupling device can also be designed to attach a suspension for suspending the lighting unit.

[0021] The lighting unit retains the same features and benefits as described for the mounting device.

[0022] The above embodiments and further developments can be combined with one another as appropriate. Further possible embodiments, further developments, and implementations of the invention also include combinations of features of the invention described previously or subsequently with regard to the exemplary embodiments, even if not explicitly mentioned. In particular, the person skilled in the art will also add individual aspects as improvements or additions to the respective basic form of the present invention. CONTENT OF THE DRAWING

[0026] Figure 1 Figure 1 shows a perspective view of an embodiment of a mounting device 1 according to the invention for a lighting unit 2. This mounting device 1 is designed to attach a suspension 3, described in more detail below, to the mounting device 1. By attaching the suspension 3 to the mounting device 1, the lighting unit 2 can be suspended, for example, from a bracket, a frame, a tripod, a ceiling structure, or the like. Furthermore, the suspension can also serve to secure the lighting unit 2.

[0027] The lighting unit 2 is, in particular, a lamp used for lighting purposes in television, studio, or theater productions, for which purpose it has one or more light sources 4. The light source 4 is not limited to a specific type of light source and can, for example, be an LED light source, a halogen light source, a fluorescent lamp, or the like.

[0028] In this exemplary embodiment, the lighting unit 2 comprises a lighting housing 5 for receiving one or more light sources 4, wherein the lighting unit 2, in particular the lighting housing 5, has an elongated basic shape. The elongated lighting housing 5 forms opposing end sections 6, each with a front face 7.

[0029] In this exemplary embodiment, the fastening device 1 is attached to the end face 7 of the lighting housing 5, wherein the fastening device 1 is screwed to the end face 7 of the lighting housing 5 by several screw elements 8. In an alternative embodiment of the lighting unit 2 (not shown), the fastening device 1 can also be formed integrally with the lighting housing 5 or a component of the lighting housing 5, or be attached to the lighting housing 5 by another connection.

[0030] In this exemplary embodiment, the fastening device 1 comprises a base body 9, which is screwed to the end face 7 of the lighting housing 5 by means of the screw elements 8. In particular, the base body 9 is made of a metallic material, for example aluminum, steel, or the like. The base body 9 can be manufactured by any manufacturing process, for example by a casting process, a forming process, a milling process, or the like.

[0031] In this exemplary embodiment, a fastening element 11 is arranged on an end face 10 of the base body 9, by which the suspension 3 for suspending the lighting unit 2 is held. The fastening element 11 is formed by an end plate 12, which is screwed to the end face of the base body 9 by several screw elements 8. The fastening element 11 is thus detachably attached to the base body 9. Alternatively, the fastening element 11 can also be formed integrally with the base body 9. The end plate 12 forms, in particular, a flush and / or flat end face of the lighting unit 2.

[0032] In this exemplary embodiment, the fastening element 11 has two separately formed passages 13, 14, which provide access to a Figure 2The visible recess 15 in the base body 9 forms the passages 13, 14. For example, the passages 13, 14 are provided as adjacent bores in the fastening element 11. By arranging the passages 13, 14 directly adjacent to each other in the fastening element 11, a fastening section 16 is formed between the passages 13, 14, to which the suspension 3 can be attached. In particular, the fastening section 16 forms a web-shaped section of the fastening element 11, which is formed between the passages 13, 14. To attach the suspension 3, it is inserted into one of the two passages 13, 14 and led out of the other of the two passages 13, 14, so that the suspension 3 is guided around the web-shaped fastening section 16 formed between the passages 13, 14.

[0033] In order to guide the suspension 3 around the fastening section 16, the recess 15 in the base body 9 is formed corresponding to the two passages 13, 14, as shown by way of example in Figure 2 As illustrated, in this embodiment, one of the two passages 13, 14 forms an access to the recess 15, and the other of the two passages 13, 14 forms an exit from the recess 15. This allows the suspension 3 to be inserted into the recess 15 through one of the two passages 13, 14 and guided out of the recess 15 through the other of the two passages 13, 14, in order to guide the suspension 3 around the mounting section 16 of the fastening element 11 and attach it to it.

[0034] In this exemplary embodiment, the fastening element 11, in particular the fastening section 16, and / or the recess 15 are positioned on the end face 7 of the lighting housing 5 such that they are aligned with respect to a center-of-gravity axis formed by the lighting unit 2. The center-of-gravity axis runs, in particular, along the longitudinal extent of the lighting unit 2. In this way, the suspension 3 is aligned with respect to a center of gravity of the lighting unit 2, so that the lighting unit 2 can be suspended vertically from the suspension 3.

[0035] To guide the suspension 3 around the mounting section 16, the recess 15 in this exemplary embodiment has an inner contour 17 that acts as a deflector. To enable the suspension 3 to be deflected by the inner contour 17, the suspension 3 is designed as a substantially flexible element, in particular as a rope, cord, string, wire rope, cable tie, or the like. In this way, the flexible suspension 3 can be inserted into the recess 15 and deflected by the inner contour 17 to be guided out of the recess 15, so that the suspension 3 is subsequently guided around the web-shaped mounting section 16. The inner contour 17 thus forms a guide for the suspension 3 inserted into the recess 15.

[0036] In this exemplary embodiment, the recess 15 has an inner contour 17 that is at least partially V-shaped in cross-section, wherein a bottom section 18 of the recess 15 is designed to be flat, as shown in the Figures 3 and 4 as can be seen. Alternatively or additionally, the recess 15 can also be designed in such a way that it has a U-shaped inner contour 17 and / or a curved bottom section 18.

[0037] In the Figures 3 and 4 The figure also shows how the suspension 3, i.e. the rope, cord, string, wire rope, cable tie or the like, can be deflected by the inner contour 17 of the recess 15, which acts as a deflector, and guided around the fastening section 16.

[0038] To deflect the suspension 3, the inner contour 17 of the recess 15 in this exemplary embodiment has an insertion ramp 19, which is associated with one of the two passages 13, and an exit ramp 20, which is associated with the other of the two passages 14. It is understood that, depending on the direction of insertion of the suspension 3, the insertion ramp 19 can also act as an exit ramp, and likewise the exit ramp 20 as an insertion ramp. Preferably, the insertion ramp 19 and the exit ramp 20 can be symmetrical to each other. In other words, the recess 15 can be mirror-symmetrical in cross-section.

[0039] With regard to the bottom section 18 of the recess 15, the insertion ramp 19 and the exit ramp 20 are inclined in this exemplary embodiment at an angle 21, which is formed within an angular range of at most 80°, preferably at most 70°, more preferably at most 60°, and / or at least 10°, preferably at least 20°, more preferably at least 30°. By inclined the insertion ramp 19 and the exit ramp 20 within such an angular range, the suspension 3 is guided and deflected on the inner contour 17 of the recess 15 such that a deflection of the suspension 3 by at least 90°, in particular by 90° to 180°, is provided, as shown in the Figures 3 and 4 is shown.

[0040] Alternatively, the inner contour 17 of the recess 15 can also have any other geometry suitable for deflecting the flexible suspension 3 in the manner described above. For example, the recess 15 can also have a semi-spherical or parabolic inner contour 17.

[0041] In this exemplary embodiment, the base body 9 is also provided with an end-face coupling device 22 for a locking element (not shown in detail). The coupling device 22 comprises an end-face bore 23, in particular a threaded bore, formed in the base body 9. The fastening element 11 has an opening 24 corresponding to the bore 23, so that the locking element can be inserted, in particular screwed, into the bore 23 through the opening 24. The locking element is preferably an eye bolt, a loop, a hook, or the like. Alternatively or additionally, the coupling device 22 can also be provided to attach the suspension 3 described above. In this case, the fastening element 11 can be provided to attach the locking element to it. REFERENCE MARK LIST
