[0001] The invention relates to a holder that can be detachably arranged on a connection of a surface-mounted fitting on a wall connection on a wall, wherein the holder has a shelf extending approximately horizontally in the operating position for objects, e.g. hygiene articles, and a bracket connected to the shelf, preferably adjustable, which extends at least partially in a plane that is approximately at a right angle to the shelf and parallel to the wall, and wherein the bracket has a holding surface with which it can be placed on the connection.
[0002] Such holders, on which hygiene items such as soaps, liquid soap dispensers or nail brushes can be placed, are known, for example, from DE 20 2009 001 722 U1, DE 20 2012 009 661 U1, DE 20 2012 009 687 U1, US 1 957 353 A and US 97 5626 A, but have the disadvantage that they require two wall connections in order to be stably mounted on the fitting.

[0006] The bracket according to the invention can, for example, be attached to a surface-mounted fitting of a bathtub or shower. When surface-mounted fittings are referred to in the description and claims, this also applies to mixer taps and similar fittings.
[0007] In many cases, surface-mounted fittings are installed via so-called S-connections to the wall connections of the water pipes. These S-connections allow for adjustments to the spacing between the two wall connections, which may differ from the spacing of the fitting connections. Within the scope of the invention, these S-connections—where present—are considered part of the wall connections.

If the bracket is to be mounted on a commonly used hexagonal nut, the mounting surface, according to the invention, will have two parallel surfaces extending approximately at right angles to the mounting surface, and each of these parallel surfaces extending at an internal angle of 120° to the parallel surface. If, for example, the bracket is to be mounted on a rectangular part, the mounting surface will accordingly have three surfaces arranged at right angles to each other.
[0010] In most cases, the bracket will be placed on a nut at a connection of the fitting. If this is not in a suitable position or rotational orientation, the nut should be turned so that the shelf is ideally in a horizontal position.

Claims
1. A bracket (1) that can be detachably arranged on a wall connection (4) located on a wall (12) for a surface-mounted fitting (2), wherein the bracket (1) has a shelf (7) extending approximately horizontally in the operating position for objects, e.g. hygiene articles, and a bracket (3) connected to the shelf (7), preferably adjustable, which extends at least partially in a plane (11) that is approximately at a right angle to the shelf (7) and parallel to the wall (12), and wherein the bracket (3) has a retaining surface (23) with which it can be placed on the wall connection (4), characterized by the fact that the holding surface (23) has a multi-sided shape with which the bracket (3) can be positively fitted onto a part of the surface-mounted fitting (2).
2. Mounting bracket according to claim 1, characterized by the fact thatthe holding surface (23) has two parallel surfaces (14) extending approximately at right angles to the storage surface (7) and each of which has a surface (15) extending at an interior angle of 120° to the storage surface.
3. Mounting device according to claim 1 or 2, characterized by the fact that the bracket (3) has a base body (22) and an adjustable insert (23) arranged thereon, which has the holding surface (23), and that the insert (23) can be fixed to the base body (22).

Mounting bracket according to claim 3, characterized by the fact that the base body (22) has an inner surface (25) associated with the insert (23) and the insert (23) has an outer surface (24) associated with the base body (22), the inner surface (25) and the outer surface (24) are at least partially adjacent to each other, and the base body (22) and the insert (23) are positively connected to each other, preferably interlocked, at least in a partial area of the inner surface (25) and the outer surface (24).
5. Mounting device according to claim 3 or 4, characterized by the fact that The insert (23) has a projection (29) on both sides, with which it is guided in grooves (31) on the base body (22) with radial play.
