Abstract
Description
[0001] Platforms or platform systems are generally known from the state of the art, however, they are usually firmly anchored in the ground and are particularly unsuitable for temporary applications.
[0002] The present invention is therefore based on the objective of creating a more efficient and sustainable platform that is flexible in its application and can also be used temporarily.
[0003] The aforementioned problem is solved by a platform with at least one platform plank, wherein the platform plank is made of a plastic, in particular a glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP), and wherein the platform includes at least one screw foundation for anchoring the platform in the ground. The platform plank forms the walking surface for users. The length of the at least one screw foundation may depend on the soil conditions. The at least one screw foundation may comprise steel, preferably made of steel. The screw foundation may include a free screw end section, which preferably tapers to a point, and a cylindrical support section. The screw foundation may further include a screw foundation head with which it can be attached to a crossbeam. The screw foundation head can be formed separately from the rest of the screw foundation, while the rest, i.e., the screw end section and the support section, is primarily formed as a single piece. The screw foundation head can be made of steel. A cylindrical extension can also be arranged between the screw foundation head and the support section. For example, a screw foundation, including any extension, can have a length between 1 m and 20 m, preferably between 1.5 m and 8 m.
[0004] By incorporating at least one screw foundation, the platform can be dismantled without leaving any residue, yet it guarantees secure anchoring in the ground. No excavation is required for the foundation, and the use of concrete is unnecessary. This results in an overall reduction of the CO2 footprint and thus contributes to environmental friendliness.
[0005] Furthermore, the need for platform grounding is eliminated, which further simplifies installation. Annual maintenance of the grounding system is also no longer required. Overall, the platform is characterized by minimal maintenance, which in turn reduces operating costs in the long term.
[0006] The use of screw foundations thus makes assembly and disassembly significantly more efficient and faster. This results in a platform that can be used temporarily and flexibly. Rapid and efficient assembly is possible, which is essential, especially for temporary applications. Furthermore, plastic, particularly fiberglass-reinforced plastic, is characterized by its durability. The use of plastic in combination with screw foundations therefore fulfills the requirements for a modern infrastructure that can be flexibly erected and dismantled.
[0007] In particular, the platform plank rests on a substructure. The platform thus comprises the substructure. The substructure includes at least two longitudinal beams and at least two first crossbeams resting on them. Preferably, the longitudinal beams and the first crossbeams are made of a plastic, preferably a glass fiber reinforced plastic.
[0008] In particular, the platform plank can consist of several planks made of plastic, which rest on the substructure. The substructure, which preferably consists of two longitudinal beams and at least two first crossbeams, can preferably be made entirely of plastic, preferably glass fiber reinforced plastic. Only the fasteners, preferably screw elements, for attaching the platform plank to the substructure or for fastening the longitudinal beams and the crossbeams to each other, can be made of steel. Except for the screw foundations, the second crossbeams, and the fasteners, the platform is thus preferably made entirely of plastic, preferably glass fiber reinforced plastic.
[0009] At least one second crossbeam can preferably be arranged between the substructure and the at least one screw foundation. In particular, the platform comprises several screw foundations, with each pair of screw foundations assigned to a second crossbeam. The longitudinal beams are thus preferably located between the first and second crossbeams. Viewed from above, the platform is thus structured in the direction of depth, first the platform plank, then the substructure (namely the first crossbeams), then the two longitudinal beams, and then the second crossbeams. The screw foundations are preferably attached to the crossbeam, preferably by means of fastening elements, preferably screw elements.
[0010] The platform may further include a railing, the railing being made of a plastic, preferably a glass fiber reinforced plastic. The railing may comprise a top rail, a bottom rail, and several posts, each of which may be made of the aforementioned plastic. The railing may be designed as a baluster or post railing. Preferably, the railing is fastened by means of fasteners.
[0011] Preferably, the platform may include a drainage channel, which may also be made of a plastic, especially a glass fiber reinforced plastic. Furthermore, the platform may include a step, which may also be made of a plastic, especially a glass fiber reinforced plastic. Finally, the platform plank may include a guide strip, which may also be made of a plastic, especially a glass fiber reinforced plastic.
[0012] The platform is designed in particular as a platform construction unit, in other words as a module that can be connected to several corresponding platform construction units, especially by means of fastening elements. Preferably, at least four, preferably at least six or exactly six, screw foundations can be provided per platform or platform construction unit. The present invention thus relates primarily to a modular platform system. The construction units can be designed as longitudinal units or as corner units, which is reflected primarily in the arrangement of the railing.
[0013] The modular construction allows the platform to be flexibly adapted to local conditions, significantly reducing construction time compared to traditional methods. This invention also enables the rapid extension of existing traditional platforms. It thus provides a future-oriented solution for modern platform construction and extensions, offering both ecological and economic advantages while simultaneously meeting the demands for functionality and flexibility. The application further relates to a system of platform construction units, as described above, which are connected to each other, preferably longitudinally.
[0014] They show, in purely schematic form: Figure 1: a platform in perspective view; Figure 2: a cross-section of the platform of the Figure 1Figure 3: another perspective view of the platform of the Figure 1 and 2 ; and Figure 4: another platform in perspective view.
[0015] Figure 1 The figure shows a perspective view of platform 10, which is designed as platform construction unit 60, specifically as longitudinal unit 61.
[0016] The screw foundations 30 are clearly visible. A total of six screw foundations 30 are shown, with two of them depicted as interrupted. The screw foundations 30 are characterized by a screw end section 31 and a cylindrical support section 32, both made of steel. Their length depends on the soil conditions. Two screw foundations 30 are attached to a second crossbeam 40 by means of fastening elements 50. This can be seen particularly in the lower left sketched pair of screw foundations 30. The screw foundations have a screw foundation head 33 for attachment to the crossbeam 40.
[0017] Two longitudinal beams 21 rest on the second crossbeams 40, on which in turn first crossbeams 22 rest, of which in Figure 1Only one is visible. Longitudinal beams 21 and the first crossbeams 22 form the substructure 20, which – apart from possible fastening elements – is made entirely of plastic, preferably glass fiber reinforced plastic.
[0018] Figure 1 Figure 11 shows how the platform plank 11 is formed from several planks 12. A guide strip 15 is embedded between two planks 12. A railing 13, a step 14, and the platform edge 16 are also shown. Furthermore, a drainage channel 17 is provided, which is arranged on the railing 13.
[0019] In Figure 2 is a cross-section of platform 10 of the Figure 1 The figure shows how the screw foundations 30 are embedded in the ground. Also visible are the second crossbeams 40, the longitudinal beams 21, and the first crossbeams 22, on which the platform plank 11 rests.
[0020] In Figure 3This is also a perspective view of platform 10 of the Figure 1 and 2 The diagram shows the platform plank 11 and the guide strip 15, but these are not shown to allow a better view of the substructure 20. The first crossbeams 22 and the longitudinal beams 21 are clearly visible. The second crossbeams 40 and the screw foundations 30 are also shown.
[0021] In Figure 4 Another platform 10 can be seen, specifically designed as platform construction unit 60, and as corner unit 62. The six screw foundations 30 are again visible. The substructure 20 is as described in Figure 1 formed, namely this consists of two longitudinal beams 21 and first crossbeams 22, on which the platform plank 11 with the planks 12, the guide strip 15, the platform edge 16, the drainage channel 17 and the railing 13 is then arranged.
