[0002] The invention relates to a sauna cell with at least one heat-insulating wall element.
[0003] The wall elements of conventional sauna rooms are usually made of wood. However, there are very limited options for aesthetically pleasing and functional wall design.
[0004] The object of the invention is to create a sauna cell with at least one alternative wall element that is not made of wood.
[0005] This object is achieved according to the invention in that the wall element has a frame formed from profile elements which encloses a thermal insulation material and is covered on at least one side with a covering made of textile material.
[0006] The choice of the textile's decor and texture opens up a wide range of design possibilities. When the textile forms the covering on the inside of the wall element, it also has the advantage of being skin-friendly and, thanks to its low heat capacity, not feeling too hot even at high sauna temperatures.

The wall element has a rectangular frame 12 formed by four profile elements 14 connected to each other at the corners. The profile elements 14 can be, for example, extruded profiles made of aluminum or light metal. At the upper end of the frame 12 in Fig. 1, one end of another profile element 14' is shown, which belongs to a second wall element that adjoins the wall element 10 at a right angle and forms another wall of the sauna cell.
[0015] In the example shown, the profile elements 14 have a square-section outer wall 16 that surrounds a square-section core profile 18. The core profiles 18 are each connected to the outer wall 16 via four diagonal webs 20.

The clamping strip engages the undercut groove with a profile anchor 28. The edge of a textile covering 30 is clamped to the frame 12 by the clamping strip 26. Preferably, the covering 30 is made of a weather-resistant material, and the seams of the covering are made with swelling threads, thus creating a waterproof covering for the wall element 10.
[0018] The frame 12 encloses a thermal insulation material 32, which largely fills the space between the inner and outer coverings 30 with respect to the sauna cell. The thermal insulation material 32 is formed, for example, by one or more heat-resistant panels, which are joined to one another and / or to the frame 12 at the edges according to the tongue and groove principle. The further profile element 14' is held to the frame 12 by a connecting plate 34 and two profile anchors 36. The profile anchors 36 are each inserted into one of the undercut grooves in the outer side of the respective profile element 14, 14'. A screw 38 passes through the profile anchor 36, which clamps the profile anchor and the connecting plate 34 against the outer wall 20 from opposite sides.
[0019] At the point where the profile element 14' is connected to the frame 12, two profile elements 14 of this frame 12 converge at a corner. Fig. 2 shows, in a perspective exploded view, how these three profile elements 14, 14' can be connected to each other.
[0020] The connecting plate 34 shown in Fig. 1 is part of a corner connector 40 formed by two mirror-symmetrical and perpendicularly connected connecting plates 34, 34'. Each of these connecting plates has screw holes 42 for the two screws 38 shown in Fig. 1. These screw holes are arranged so that the corresponding screws can be screwed into the connecting anchors 26 in the undercut grooves 22 of the profile elements, thus firmly connecting all three profile elements.
[0021] Using corner connectors of this type, the profile elements can be connected to form a spatial grid. The profile elements then form the frames of several wall elements arranged at right angles to each other, which can optionally form all side walls and, if necessary, also the ceiling of the sauna room. A door opening can be recessed into one of these wall elements, with a door frame also formed by profile elements 14. The corresponding door leaf can also be a wall element with a frame made of profile elements and the associated thermal insulation and cladding.
Claims
PATENT CLAIMS 1. Sauna cell with at least one heat-insulating wall element (10), characterized in that the wall element (10) has a frame (12) formed from profile elements (14), which encloses a heat-insulating material (32) and is covered on at least one side with a covering (30) made of textile material.
2. Sauna cell according to claim 1, wherein the sauna cell has several wall elements with the features specified in claim 1 and the frame elements (14, 14') of these wall elements are connected to one another at right angles via corner connectors (40).
3. Sauna cell according to claim 1 or 2, in which profile elements (14) have undercut grooves (22) into which clamping strips (26) are clipped, with each of which an edge of the covering (30) is clamped to the profile element.
