FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0003] Within the area of brackets for being embedded into a concrete element, some solutions of such brackets are available, however none of those brackets provides an effective, reliable and secure solution for being embedded in the concrete before mounting / arrangement / installation of the concrete element in a construction.

Claims
1. A bracket (1) for embedment in a surface of a concrete construction, said bracket comprising: - a receiving portion (10) with an opening (12) adapted for receiving a connecting end (52) of a rod (50) when inserted in an insertion direction (54), and - an embedding portion (20) adapted for being embedded in the concrete construction, said embedding portion comprises: - a plate (22) configured to be aligned with a surface of the concrete construction, when embedded, and - one or more embedding protrusions (24) protruding into the concrete acting as barbs when embedded, wherein the opening (12) is accessible for insertion of the rod after embedment.
2. A bracket (1) according to any claim 1, wherein the embedding portion (20), preferably the plate (22) comprises one or more apertures (26) for assessing the correct depth of the bracket in the concrete when embedding.
3. The bracket (1) according to any one or more of the preceding claims, wherein the one or more embedding protrusions (24) comprise one or more holes and / or recesses.

The bracket (1) according to any one or more of the preceding claims, wherein the one or more embedding protrusions (24) are protruding in at least substantially perpendicular direction in relation to the plate and preferably that at least one of the one or more embedding protrusions are protruding from the plate.

The bracket (1) according to any one or more of the preceding claims, wherein the receiving portion (10) protrudes away from the plate (22) and the embedding portion (20), said receiving portion comprises a cavity (14) configured for receiving and holding the connecting end (52) of the rod (50), preferably said cavity (14) comprises a recess (16) acting as an end stop for the rod when arranged in the cavity.

The bracket (1) according to any one or more of the preceding claims 1-4, wherein the receiving portion (10) protrudes from the plate and into the embedding portion (20), said receiving portion comprises a cavity (14) configured for receiving and holding the connecting end (52) of the rod (50), preferably said cavity (14) comprises a recess (16) acting as an end stop for the rod when arranged in the cavity.

The bracket according to claim 5 or 6 wherein the cavity (14) is tubular shaped with an upper end (18) comprising the opening (12) for receiving the connecting end of the rod and a lower end (19) with the recess (16), wherein the tubular shape is preferably rectangular, square, cylindrical or conical.
8. The bracket (1) according to claim 5 or 7 wherein the cavity (14) has a wedge-like shape with an upper end (18) comprising the opening (12) for receiving the connecting end of the rod and wherein the cavity narrows from the upper end to a lower end (19) of the cavity.
9. The bracket (1) according to claim 8 wherein the cavity (14) is wedge-shaped in a direction perpendicular to the insertion direction and the and the construction surface, so that the cavity has a doble wedge-shaped form.

The bracket (1) according to any one or more of the preceding claims, wherein the receiving portion (10) comprises locking means (30) for locking the rod (50) to the bracket (1), said locking means being a snap-fit unit (32) interacting with the connecting end of the rod, which locking means (30) is releasable by applying a force to the rod in a direction opposite to the insertion direction (54).

The bracket (1) according to one or more of the preceding claims, comprising an indicator portion (40) for indicating the position of the bracket when embedding and after embedding in the concrete construction, said indicator portion being one or more indicator protrusions (42) protruding from the plate in the insertion direction (54) and indicator means (44) configured to be arranged visible on an edge of the concrete construction.

A bracket arrangement (70) comprising a bracket (1) according to any one or more of the preceding claims, and a rod (50) with a connecting end (52) adapted for being inserted into the receiving portion (10) of the bracket in the insertion direction (54), wherein the connecting end (52) has a shape complementary to the cavity (14).
13. A bracket arrangement (70) according to claim 12 wherein the connecting end (52) comprises a locking feature (34) for interacting with the snap-fit unit (32) of the receiving portion.

A method (100) for embedding a bracket, preferably a bracket (1) according to one or more of claim 1 to 11, wherein said method comprises steps of: - providing a bracket (1) comprising an embedding portion having one or more embedding protrusions, - providing fluid concrete, said fluid concrete preferably being in a mould, - inserting at least one embedding protrusion of the embedding portion into the fluid concrete for embedding the protrusion, - levelling a front surface of the embedding portion, preferably being a plate, in relation to a surface of the fluid concrete, preferably said front surface being levelled to at least substantially the same level as the surface of the fluid concrete, - drying the fluid concrete into a solid concrete, wherein the steps of the method can be executed in any order and / or executed simultaneously.

A method (100) for embedding a bracket arrangement (70), preferably a bracket arrangement (70) according to one or more of claim 12 to 13 comprising the steps of embedding a bracket according to claim 14 and further comprising a step of: - connecting the rod (50) to the bracket (1), preferably by inserting a connection end of the rod into a receiving portion of the bracket wherein the connecting end and the receiving end are complementary shaped preferably a wedge-like shape.
