Abstract
Description
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The present invention relates to a cooking fume extractor hood which allows purified air to be blown into the room in which the hood is located, without recirculating said air in the vicinity of the hood and without forming an air curtain which prevents the cooking fumes from diffusing when they rise towards the hood.
[0002] The cooking fume extractor hood comprises an air purification system for purifying all the fumes entering the extractor hood and an air extraction system for extracting air to the room in which said hood is located once the fumes have been purified.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0003] Air extraction devices for extracting air from cooking food that is carried out in a cooking system, generally arranged in a kitchen, are known in the state of the art.
[0004] These devices are commonly known as extractor hoods and allow air from cooking food that is carried out in a cooking system to be extracted, wherein the cooking system is placed on a countertop and the extractor hood is arranged above said cooking system, either anchored to the wall or to the ceiling.
[0005] Said devices comprise a set of filters and extraction means for extracting the air originating from cooking food arranged inside the casing which extracts the fumes originating from cooking food and conveys them to an extraction pipe normally connected to the upper portion of the device, for the extraction of the fumes to the outside of the room in which the extractor hood is located.
[0006] Partial recirculating air extractor hoods attached to the wall or ceiling for use over a cooking area are also known, these extractor hoods having a suction fan, a filtering system, a hood casing with air ducts and a device for generating an air outlet directed downwards from the hood, by means of air coming from the outside, which causes an air curtain to form which completely or at least partially prevents the outlet of vapour sucked in by the fan from the volume generated by the air curtain when mixed with said fumes.
[0007] However, these extractor hoods have the disadvantage that they require an auxiliary air inlet to generate the curtain.
[0008] The cooking fume extractor hood of the present invention solves all the above disadvantages.DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
