Drying system for drying filaments

Abstract

The invention relates to a drying system for drying filaments, wherein drying system (100) comprises a rotating drying cylinder (10), at least two air blow devices (11, 12, 13), of which air blow devices (11, 12, 13) at least one is a drying air blow device (11; 12) and one air blow device (13) is a guiding air blow device (13), wherein the air blow devices (11, 12, 13) are arranged successively around peripheral surface of the drying cylinder at a distance from the peripheral surface of the drying cylinder (10). The drying air blow device (11, 12) is arranged in rotation direction of the drying cylinder (10) before the guiding air blow device (13) and the drying system (100) further comprises air circulating equipment (30) for providing air to the air blow devices (11, 12, 13) and for removing removal air from connection of the air blow devices (11, 12, 13).
