Method and system for measurement of water content of alternative marine fuels

Abstract

The invention relates to a method and system for measurement of water content of alternative marine fuels, namely methanol, ethanol or ammonia. The measuring is done during bunkering of a marine vessel. The system comprises a water content measuring device (10) which is arranged attachable to a fuel conduit (3) in a bunkering station (7) for a marine vessel (1); and is arranged to measure the water content on-line from the fuel conduit (3) during bunkering of the marine vessel (1).
