Abstract

The present invention relates to an adhesive label intended to be attached to a blood bag made of PVC, kraton, polypropylene or similar material, said adhesive label comprising a flexible backing and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer deposited on one face of said backing; said label is remarkable in that said backing has a mineral filler content of silica and / or calcium carbonate (CaCO3) and / or similar material of less than 50%, in that the backing exhibits at 115°C an elongation greater than or equal to 2% when a 1.5 cm wide test specimen of said backing is suspended and placed under tension by a weight of 375 g for 75 minutes and in that said blood bag exhibits at 115°C an elongation of at least 100% when a 1.5 cm wide test specimen of a blood bag is suspended and placed under tension by a weight of 375 g for 75 minutes.

Claims

Claims 1. Blood bag provided with an adhesive label, said blood bag being obtained from PVC or polypropylene, said adhesive label comprising a flexible support and a layer of pressure-sensitive adhesive deposited on one of the faces of said support, characterized in that said support has a mineral filler content of silica and / or calcium carbonate (CaCO3) of less than 50%, in that the support has at 115°C an elongation greater than or equal to 2% when a 1.5 cm wide test piece of said support is suspended and put under tension by a weight of 375 g for 75 minutes and in that said blood bag has at 115°C an elongation of at least 100% when a 1.5 cm wide test piece of a blood bag is suspended and put under tension by a weight of 375 g for 75 minutes.

2. Blood bag according to claim 1 characterized in that the ratio between the elongation of the support and the elongation of the blood bag is between 0.01 and 0.5 or greater than or equal to 2.

5.

3. Blood bag according to any one of claims 1 or 2, characterized in that the support consists of a microporous plastic film.

4. Blood bag according to claim 3 characterized in that the plastic film is obtained from polypropylene.

5. Blood bag according to any one of claims 3 or 4, characterized in that the plastic film is obtained from polyethylene.

6. Blood bag according to claim 5 characterized in that the plastic film is obtained from polypropylene and polyethylene.
