Description

Title of the invention: Windshield wiper blade, particularly for a motor vehicle FIELD OF INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates to a windshield wiper blade, particularly for a motor vehicle, comprising a wiping blade, a heating element for heating the wiping blade and a connecting line providing the electrical supply to the heating element. STATE OF THE ART

[0002] Wiper blades thus constituted are already known, for example, according to document DE 10 2020 300 342 Al which describes a wiper blade with a heating element supplied by a connecting line.

[0003] DESCRIPTION AND ADVANTAGES OF THE INVENTION

[0004] The present invention relates to a windshield wiper, in particular for a motor vehicle comprising a wiping blade, a heating element for heating the wiping blade and a connecting line providing the electrical supply to the heating element, this windshield wiper being characterized in that the connecting line is provided to be connected to a supply line by a first magnetic coupling element.

[0005] The wiper blade according to the invention has the advantage that the connecting line is linked to the power line by a magnetic coupling element. This allows for a quick and reliable connection between the connecting line and the power line.

[0006] In a particularly advantageous way, the magnetic coupling element constitutes a first connection side of the magnetic coupling which is fixed to the wiping blade because a simple and reliable connection is thus made between the connecting line and the supply line.

[0007] According to another characteristic resulting in a particularly simple, economical and therefore advantageous realization, the magnetic coupling includes at least one electrical contact for the current of the heating element.

[0008] It is particularly advantageous for at least one contact to be in the form of a radial contact because this increases the reliability of the connection.

[0009] Advantageously, reliability is increased because the contact is axially flexible.

[0010] According to a simple and advantageous embodiment, there are two contacts.

[0011] A simple and reliable implementation advantageously results from magnetic coupling in the form of a ring magnet.

[0012] It is particularly advantageous for the ring magnet to surround at least one contact and preferably both contacts, which increases the reliability of the connection accordingly.

[0013] The influence of the environment on the contacts is advantageously avoided if the magnetic coupling includes on its outer side an insulating element ensuring sealing.

[0014] In a particularly advantageous manner, the insulating element comprises at least one radial relief, notably made of an elastic synthetic material. Brief description of the drawings

[0015] The present invention will be described in more detail below with the aid of embodiment examples shown in the accompanying drawings in which:

[0016] [Fig-1] Perspective diagram of a windshield wiper blade according to the invention,

[0017] [Fig.2] Cross-section of the windshield wiper blade according to the invention,

[0018] [Fig.3] Schematic top view of one side of a magnetic coupling connection of a windshield wiper blade according to the invention,

[0019] [Fig.4] Schematic cross-sectional view of the magnetic coupling of a windshield wiper blade according to the invention.

[0020] DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENT METHODS OF THE INVENTION

[0021] Figure 1 shows a windshield wiper 10 according to the invention by means of a schematic perspective drawing. It comprises a wiper blade 12 connected to the vehicle by a wiper arm 14, which is not part of the invention. The wiper blade 12 has a fastening means 20. The interior of the wiper blade 12 has a heating element 30 (Fig. 2) which heats up when an electrical voltage is applied to it. For this purpose, a power supply line 16 from the vehicle is provided, this line not itself being part of the invention; by means of a magnetic coupling 18, this line supplies electric current from the vehicle, the wiper blade 12. The magnetic coupling 18 comprises a first magnetic coupling element 34 ( [Fig.3]) on the wiper blade 12, for example, on the fastening means 20. The end of the supply line 16 comprises a second magnetic coupling element 36 ( [Fig.3]) corresponding to the first magnetic coupling element 34 and forming with it the magnetic coupling 18. .

[0022] Figure 2 shows a cross-sectional view of a windshield wiper blade 10 according to the invention. The wiper blade 12 includes a wiping lip 22 that removes moisture from the windshield 24. The wiping lip 22 is attached to a flexible rail 26 consisting mainly of an elongated, curved steel strip. The side of the flexible rail 26 not facing the wiping lip 22, as seen in the cross-sectional view, carries a deflector blade 28. deflector shape and which extends practically over the entire length of the wiper blade 10. The inside of the wiper blade 12 has a heating element 30 for heating the wiper blade 12, i.e. the wiper lip 22. The heating element 30 is connected to the magnetic coupling 18 by a connecting line 32; more precisely, it is connected to a first magnetic coupling element 34 ( [Fig.3]) of the magnetic coupling 18.

[0023] Fig. 3 shows a schematic cross-sectional view of the first magnetic coupling element 34 and the second magnetic coupling element 36 of the magnetic coupling 18. For clarity of the drawing, the supply line 16 (Fig. 1) and the connecting line 32 (Fig. 2) have not been shown. The first magnetic coupling element 34 is provided on the wiping blade 12 ([Fig. 1]) and is connected by the connecting line 32 to the heating element 20. In the middle of the first magnetic coupling element 34 there is a first electrical contact 38 which serves to supply power to the heating element 20 via the supply line 16. Around this there is a first insulating layer 40, and a second electrical contact 42. The second electrical contact 42 is itself surrounded by a second insulating layer 44 and beyond the second insulating layer 44 is the magnet 46.The first electrical contact 38 and the second electrical contact 42 are flexible in the axial direction A, and therefore somewhat mobile. This elastic mobility results from a compression spring under the first contact 38 and / or the second contact 42; this compression spring has not been shown for clarity of the drawing.

[0024] The second magnetic coupling element 36 is on the power supply line 16 ([Fig. 1]). In this structure, the second magnetic coupling element 36 corresponds to the first magnetic coupling element 34. Both the second magnetic coupling element 36 and the first magnetic coupling element 34 comprise a first electrical contact 38, a second electrical contact 42, and a magnet 46. Instead of the magnet 46, another ferromagnetic material may be used, so that either the first or second magnetic coupling element 36 comprises a magnet. For clarity, the first insulation layer 40 and the second insulation layer 44 are not shown for the second magnetic coupling element 36, but they are clearly present. For insulation against environmental influences, the outer side comprises an insulating element 48 with, for example, a raised surface 50 to prevent the penetration of moisture and dirt. The insulating element 48 is preferably made of an elastic synthetic material, for example, silicone or rubber.

[0025] Figure 4 is a top view of the first magnetic coupling element 34 and the second magnetic coupling element 36 shown schematically. The functional elements of the first magnetic coupling element 34 and the second magnetic coupling element 36 are circular in shape, allowing them to rotate in the coaxially installed state. The first electrical contact 38 is in the middle. It is surrounded by the first insulating layer 40. Around this first insulating layer 40, the second electrical contact 42 is surrounded by the second insulating layer 44. The magnet 46 is radially further out, and the insulating element 48 is radially further out.

[0026] According to one embodiment of the invention, the magnet 46 is composed of several parts. Similarly, the magnet can be centered, that is to say located in the middle of the axis of rotation of the first magnetic coupling element 34 and the second magnetic coupling element 36 or between the first electrical contact 38 and the second electrical contact 42.
