It relates more particularly to a quick fastening system with secure locking of straps preventing accidental unlocking. A harness and a belt comprising the system complete the invention. Technological background
[0002] Persons working at height must use fall protection safety equipment essentially comprising safety harnesses comprising straps which must be fixed and locked together by a fixing and locking system once the harness is installed on the user.
[0003] It is important that the system cannot be unlocked accidentally.
[0004] A quick-release fastening system with safety locking is therefore proposed which prevents accidental unlocking. Statement of the invention

[0052] The description which follows with reference to the appended drawings, given as non-limiting examples, will make it clear what the invention consists of and how it can be implemented.
[0053] Concerning the directions and orientations, it should be noted that in [Fig.l], the double straight arrows 14 and 28 symbolize the transverse directions of the male 1 and female 2 parts respectively. The longitudinal directions of the male 1 and female 2 parts are then perpendicular to their transverse directions and it can be considered that the straps 3, 4 (represented only [Fig.7] so as not to overload the other figures) have longitudinal directions.
[0054] The longitudinal locking direction 17L carried by the support rod 12 of the T-shaped part 12, 13 of the male part 1 is perpendicular to the transverse direction 14 of the male part 1 and in the first mean plane. The transverse locking direction 17T (shown [Fig.2]) carried by the head bar 13 of the T-shaped part of the male part 1 is parallel to the transverse direction 14 of the male part 11 and in the first mean plane.
[0055] Concerning the "section" for "the width 18 of the section of the head bar" and for "the height 19 of the section of the head bar" represented [Fig.8], it is obtained by a virtual longitudinal section of the male part, in other words, a section perpendicular to the transverse extension (the transverse is in the direction of the double arrow 14) of this head bar, or, in still other words, a section perpendicular to the first average plane and parallel to the longitudinal direction of ver- rust 17L.
[0056] It should also be noted that the term “first average plane” corresponds to the general plane of the male part 1 of the system of the invention even if this part has a certain thickness. Similarly, the term “second average plane” corresponds to the general plane of the second loop 20 belonging to the female part 2 of the system of the invention even if this second loop has a certain thickness. In fact, the male parts 1 and female 2 are essentially flat elements, only one or both hooks 22a, 22b of the female part 2 being able to come out somewhat from the second average plane, the hooks extending parallel or in this second average plane, the internal housings 23 of the hooks being able to be in the second average plane or not depending on the embodiments.
[0057] In the example shown in Figures 1 to 7, the internal housings 23 of the hooks are above the second average plane. In all cases, these internal housings 23 as well as their transverse / lateral openings are aligned on the same transverse axis parallel to the second average plane or in this second average plane so that in the locked fixing position of the system, the male and female parts are essentially in parallel or superimposed planes even if it will be understood that in the embodiment presented with internal housings without imprint in the internal wall, the male part can freely tilt and that the orientation of the first and second average planes can depend on the directions of traction of the straps 3, 4.
[0058] As visible [Fig.l], the male part 1 of the system has two opposite sides with a strap side and a key side.
[0059] The strap side consists of a first flat and transversely elongated loop (in the orientation of the right double arrow 14) and in which loop, a strap 3 (see [Fig.7]) can be passed through a strap passage 11 to allow the strap 3 to be secured to this male part 1.
[0060] The key side consists of a T-shaped part 12, 13 comprising a support rod 12 and a head bar 13 arranged at 90° to the previous one. The base of the support rod 12 is fixed on the edge of the first loop 10, in the middle of the transverse extension of the latter and so that the first loop 10 and the T-shaped part 12, 13 are in the first mean plane. The T-shaped part 12, 13 can be an added part welded onto the first loop 10 or the male part 1 can be a single piece, in particular cast.
[0061] The T-shaped part 12, 13 and the first loop 10 are therefore included in the first average plane, the male part being generally flat, that is to say much more extended longitudinally and transversely than in height and also than in thickness in the present case because the male part is of substantially uniform thickness.
[0062] In the figures of the example shown, the head bar 13 has a section of shape substantially rectangular. [Fig.8] shows more precisely the width 18 and the height 19 of the section of the head bar 13. The width 18 of the section corresponds to the two sides 15 parallel to the first average plane. The height 19 of the section corresponds to the two sides 16 perpendicular to the first average plane and to one of which one end of the support rod 12 is attached.
[0063] The female part 2 also has two opposite sides with a strap side and a lock side.
[0064] The strap side consists of a second loop 20 which is flat and elongated transversely (in the orientation of the right double arrow 28) and in which loop, a strap 4 (see [Fig.7]) can be passed through a strap passage 21 to secure it to this female part 2.
[0065] This second loop 20 which is flat defines and is included in the second average plane. Even if the female part 2 has in certain zones, that of the hooks 22a, 22b, a height greater than the height of the male part, it can be considered that the female part is also globally flat, that is to say much more extended longitudinally and transversely than in height.
[0066] The lock side comprises two hooks 22a, 22b fixed on the transverse length of the same edge of the second loop 20, in two distinct positions along this edge.
[0067] It is in these two hooks 22a, 22b of the female part 2 that the head bar 13 of the T-shaped part 12, 13 of the male part 1 is retained, in the locked fixing position of the system.
[0068] Each hook 22a, 22b comprises, starting from the second loop 20 and moving away from it: an arm portion 25a, 25b then a curved portion 26a, 26b ending with a free terminal end 27a, 27b which is oriented (substantially faces / is substantially opposite) towards the strap side (therefore towards the second loop 20) of the female part 2 because it is on a curved portion. As a result, the arm portion 25a, 25b and the curved portion 26a, 26b of the hook 22a, 22b define an access opening 29 to an internal housing 23 which is in the curved portion. This access opening 29 is also oriented (substantially faces / is substantially opposite) towards the strap side (therefore towards the second buckle 20) of the female part 2 because it is on the curved part. This access opening 29 of the curved part 26a, 26b of each of the hooks 22a, 22b has a certain height 29a in a direction perpendicular to the second average plane of the female part 2 and which allows or does not allow the passage of the head bar 13 depending on the orientation of the first average plane relative to the second average plane.
[0069] Depending on the case, the arm parts 25a, 25b of these two hooks 22a, 22b can extend parallel to the second average plane or in the second average plane and these two hooks 22a, 22b extend parallel to each other and inverted to each other.
[0070] The arm portion 25a, 25b and the curved portion 26a, 26b are further configured to leave an access passage 31 for the head bar 13 of the male portion 1 between the terminal end 27a, 27b and the second loop 20. This access passage 31 provides access to the access opening 29 of the curved portion 26a, 26b for this same head bar 13 of the male portion 1 and so that this same head bar 13 can be translated into the internal housing 23 of the hook.
[0071] Each internal housing 23 is open laterally by two opposite transverse openings (i.e. in the transverse direction) and frontally (towards the second loop 20) by the access opening 29.
[0072] In this example, one of the two hooks 22a, 22b is raised by a foot 24 relative to the second average plane, the other having its arm part in this second average plane. As a result, the two internal housings 23 of the two hooks are slightly offset / raised relative to the second average plane.
[0073] It is understood that depending on the shape of the curved part, with parallel external faces as here or in a question mark, and / or depending on the way in which the hooks are connected to the second loop, symmetrically or not with respect to the second average plane, the relative positions of the internal housings with respect to the second average plane may be different. Preferably, one of the faces of the female part is made substantially flat and this will be the one that will be applied against the user of the system. Similarly, preferably, there is not too great an offset between the first average plane of the male part and the second average plane of the female part in the locked fixing position of the system, always for the comfort of the user.
[0074] As can be seen, the two hooks 22a, 22b are oriented in an opposite / inverted manner, the access passage 31 of one hook being oriented in a first direction perpendicular to the second mean plane and the access passage of the other hook being oriented in a second direction perpendicular to the second mean plane, the first and second directions being opposite each other. It will be seen that this is necessary to allow rotation of the male part during the system locking operation (or conversely, unlocking).
[0075] The two hooks 22a, 22b are separated from each other in the lateral direction by an insertion space 30. This insertion space is extended longitudinally and has a width such that it allows the T-shaped part 12, 13 of the male part 1 to be inserted therein and circulate when the first mean plane is perpendicular to the second mean plane. This insertion can be done longitudinally and / or from the top or bottom of this insertion space 30 when the first mean plane is perpendicular to the second mean plane.
[0076] Preferably, the insertion space 30 is in the middle position of the female part 2.
[0077] We will now describe the operation of the system with a locking operation.
[0078] First of all [Fig.2], the male part 1 is brought closer to the female part 2 by placing the first average plane of the male part 1 perpendicular to the second average plane of the female part 2. In this [Fig.2], the T-shaped part 12, 13 is placed on the longitudinal axis of the insertion space 30 located between the two hooks 22a, 22b of the female part 2. It is understood that the insertion which will be made can be along this longitudinal axis of the insertion space 30 but the insertion can also be carried out by raising or lowering, as the case may be, the T-shaped part 12, 13 into the insertion space 30 because the first and second average planes are perpendicular to each other.
[0079] In [Fig. 3], the T-shaped part 12, 13 of the male part has been inserted fully into the insertion space 30. This bottom and the access passages 31 are arranged in correspondence because it will be necessary to rotate the male part relative to the female part in order to make the first and second mean planes parallel and therefore so that the head bar 13 can enter the two access passages 31 of the two hooks 22a, 22b as shown [Fig. 4]. For this, the support rod 12 of the T-shaped part 12, 13 is placed between the two hooks 22a, 22b, on the longitudinal axis of the insertion space 30.
[0080] Once the first and second average planes are brought parallel to each other (or superimposed) and therefore the head bar 13 has entered the two access passages 31 of the two hooks 22a, 22b, it is possible to tilt the male part 1 in order to make the first and second average planes perpendicular to each other as shown [Fig.5]. The tilting can be done upwards or downwards, in the figures it is upwards.
[0081] It should be noted that in this [Fig.5], the head bar 13 of the T-shaped part 12, 13 has the width 18 of its section opposite (facing) the two access openings 29 of the two curved parts 26a, 26b, of the two hooks 22a, 22b.
[0082] Under these latter conditions, it is possible to translate the male part 1 in order to introduce the head bar 13 of the T-shaped part 12, 13 into the two internal housings 23 of the two curved parts 26a, 26b, of the two hooks 22a, 22b as shown [Fig.6].
[0083] It should be noted that this translation would not have been possible if the first and second average planes were not perpendicular to each other because the head bar 13 of the T-shaped part 12, 13 has a rectangular section and the height of the two access openings 29 allows the passage of the head bar 13 which has the width 18 of its section opposite the access openings 29 but does not allow passage when it is the height 19 in section of the head bar 13 which is opposite access openings 29 or when it is a diagonal in section of the head bar (first inclined plane, <90°, relative to the second).
[0084] In this embodiment of Figures 1 to 7, there is no provision for foolproofing means of the type of indentations in one or both access openings 29 and of a complementary shape to said indentations on the face 16 of height 19 of the section of the head bar 13 allowing the head bar 13 to pass and enter the corresponding internal housing 23. These foolproofing means therefore also provide a coded key function for the male part 1 and a lock for the female part 2 since there must be a correspondence between the complementary patterns of the access opening 29 and the head bar 13 so that the head bar 13 can enter the internal housing 23 during a locking operation and exit during an unlocking operation.
[0085] Once the head bar 13 of the T-shaped part 12, 13 has been introduced / passed into the two internal housings 23 of the two curved parts 26a, 26b, of the two hooks 22a, 22b, it is possible to tilt the male part 1 to bring the first and second average planes into parallel (or superposition) as shown [Fig.7].
[0086] In this embodiment of Figures 1 to 7, no hollow impressions are provided in the internal wall of the two internal housings 23 and this wall is essentially rounded, preferably substantially cylindrical.
[0087] It is understood that for unlocking, the reverse actions are necessary.

perpendicular to the second mean plane of the female part (2) greater than that of the access opening (29) so that the head bar (13) of the T-shaped part (12, 13) can tilt therein around a transverse locking direction (17T) in which said head bar extends, in which the system is arranged to allow, during a locking operation, successively: a) in a first step, an insertion, by a first translation along the longitudinal locking direction (17L), of the T-shaped part (12, 13) of the male part (1) into the insertion space (30) when the first mean plane is perpendicular to the second mean plane, then, b) in a second step, a rotation of the male part (1) around the longitudinal locking direction (17L) in order to bring the first and second mean planes into parallel or superposition and to introduce the head bar (13) of the T-shaped part (12, 13) into the two access passages (31), then c) in a third step, a tilting of the male part (1) around the transverse locking direction (17T) along which the head bar (13) extends,in order to bring the first and second average planes perpendicularly so that the head bar (13) has the width of its section opposite the access opening (29) of the curved part (26a, 26b), then d) in a fourth step, a second translation of the male part (1) along the longitudinal locking direction (17L), in the opposite direction to the first translation, in order to insert the head bar (13) of the T-shaped part (12, 13) into the internal housings (23) of the two hooks (22a, 22b), then e) in a fifth step, a tilting of the male part (1) in order to bring the first and second average planes into parallel or superposition, and, in which the system is arranged to allow, conversely, during an unlocking operation, steps e) to a) successively in the opposite
