Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: SUCTION POOL CLEANER Technical field
[0001] The present invention relates to cleaning equipment for swimming pools and other artificial ponds, in particular a suction pool cleaner. BACKGROUND
[0002] In existing suction pool cleaners, the drive shaft drives the propeller to rotate to generate suction force, so as to suck water together with debris and dirt from the water inlet, and the water is discharged from the water outlet after being filtered. However, during the suction process, leaves and strip-shaped debris may wrap on the drive shaft, which slows down the rotation speed of the drive member and further impairs the cleaning efficiency. SUMMARY
[0003] Therefore, a main objective of the present invention is to provide a suction pool cleaner which can prevent the drive shaft from becoming entangled with debris so as to ensure high and stable suction efficiency.

[0008] a first deflector; and
[0009] a second deflector;
[0010] wherein the housing comprises a water inlet and a water outlet;
[0011] the propeller is arranged in the housing and is located between the water inlet and the water outlet;
[0012] the drive member comprises a main body and a drive shaft disposed on the main body; the propeller is sleeved on the drive shaft; and the drive member is configured to drive the propeller, via the drive shaft, to rotate about an axis of the drive shaft so as to generate a suction force;
[0013] the first deflector is disposed in the housing and is located between the propeller and the water inlet; and the axis of the drive shaft passes through the first deflector; and
[0014] a first end of the second deflector is connected to an end of the propeller close to the main body, and a second end of the second deflector is adjacent to the main body.
[0015] According to some embodiments, the suction pool cleaner further comprises a connecting member; a first end of the connecting member is connected to the first deflector, and a second end of the connecting member is connected to an inner wall of the housing.
[0016] According to certain embodiments, the connecting element is molded integrally with the first deflector.
[0017] According to some embodiments, a peripheral contour of the first deflector is a curved surface that tapers from an end near the propeller to an end far from the propeller.
[0018] According to some embodiments, the first deflector is a rotating body, and the axis of the drive shaft coincides with an axis of the first deflector.
[0019] According to certain embodiments, the second deflector is an elastic deflector or a rigid deflector.
[0020] According to some embodiments, the propeller comprises a propeller column and a blade; the propeller column is sleeved on the drive shaft; the blade is spirally arranged on the propeller column; and the second deflector is connected to an end of the blade adjacent to the main body.
[0021] According to some embodiments, the second deflector is configured to extend from the tip of the blade adjacent the main body toward the main body; a direction of extension of the second deflector is parallel to the axis of the drive shaft.
[0022] According to some embodiments, the suction pool cleaner further comprises a filter, and the filter is disposed between the water inlet and the water outlet, or the filter is disposed at an end of the water outlet remote from the water inlet.
[0023] According to certain embodiments, the suction pool cleaner further comprises:
[0024] an internal envelope;
[0025] wherein the inner casing is disposed in the housing and is configured to divide the interior of the housing into a suction chamber and a motor chamber; the motor chamber is not disposed in the suction chamber; and both the water inlet and the water outlet communicate with the suction chamber;
[0026] the propeller is arranged in the suction chamber; and
[0027] the main body is disposed in the motor chamber; and the drive shaft penetrates the inner casing and partially extends into the suction chamber.
[0028] The advantages of the technical solutions of the present invention are described below. The drive element is configured to drive the propeller, via the drive shaft, to rotate about the axis of the drive shaft to generate a suction force, such that the water near the water inlet is sucked into the housing through the water inlet. Water entering the housing is treated and then discharged through the water outlet. The present invention is provided with a first baffle, such that water collides with the first baffle after entering the housing through the water inlet, and spills into the housing from the sides of the first baffle. Since the axis of the drive shaft passes through the first baffle, the end of the drive shaft close to the first baffle is covered by the first baffle, so that debris (e.g., leaves and strip-shaped debris) does not entangle with the end of the drive shaft close to the first baffle, thereby avoiding reduction of the rotational speed of the drive member and ensuring suction efficiency.The present invention also comprises a second baffle, and the end of the second baffle not connected to the propeller is adjacent to the main body, so that a gap between the second baffle and the main body is relatively narrow. Therefore, when water flows into the housing, it is difficult for debris to wrap around the end of the drive shaft connected to the main body through the gap between the second baffle and the main body, thereby preventing the drive shaft from being entangled by a large number of leaves or strips, thereby avoiding the reduction of the rotational speed of the drive member and ensuring the suction efficiency.By means of the first baffle and the second baffle, the end of the drive shaft close to the first baffle and the end of the drive shaft close to the second baffle can be prevented from being entangled, as far as possible, by the leaves or strips, so that the debris does not affect the operation of the drive shaft, enabling the continuous, stable and efficient cleaning of the swimming pool. [0039] As shown in Figures 1 to 3, the present invention provides a suction pool cleaner, comprising a housing 100, an impeller 200, a drive member 300, a first deflector 400 and a second deflector 500. The housing 100 has a water inlet 111 and a water outlet 112. The impeller 200 is disposed in the housing 100, and is located between the water inlet 111 and the water outlet 112. The drive member 300 comprises a main body 310 and a drive shaft 320 disposed on the main body 310. Since the impeller 200 is sleeved on the drive shaft 320, the drive member 300 can drive the impeller 200 to rotate about the axis of the shaft drive shaft 320 to generate a suction force. The first deflector 400 is disposed in the housing 100 and is located between the propeller 200 and the water inlet 111, and the axis of the drive shaft 320 passes through the first deflector 400.A first end of the second deflector 500 is connected to the end of the propeller 200 proximate to the main body 310, and a second end of the second deflector 500 is adjacent to the main body 310.
[0040] The drive member 300 is configured to drive the propeller 200, via the drive shaft 320, to rotate about the axis of the drive shaft 320 to generate the suction force, so as to cause the water near the inlet 111 to enter the housing 100 via the water inlet 111. The water entering the housing 100 is treated and then discharged through the water outlet 112. The first deflector 400 is arranged such that, when entering the housing 100 via the water inlet 111, the water impinges on the first deflector 400 and spills into the housing 100 from the sides of the first deflector 400.Since the axis of the drive shaft 320 passes through the first deflector 400, the first deflector 400 protects the end of the drive shaft 320 near the first deflector 400 from becoming entangled with debris (e.g., leaves or strip-shaped debris) and slowing down the rotational speed of the drive member 300 to ensure suction efficiency. The present invention is provided with a second deflector 500, and the end of the second deflector 500 not connected to the propeller 200 is adjacent to the main body 310. Therefore, the spacing between the second deflector 500 and the main body 310 is narrow such that when water flows into the housing 100, debris in the water has difficulty entangled with the end of the drive shaft 320 connected to the main body 310 through the spacing between the second deflector 500 and the main body 310.This prevents a large number of sheets or strips from tangling with the drive shaft 320 and reducing the rotation speed of the drive member 300, thereby ensuring suction efficiency. The present invention provides both the first baffle 400 and the second baffle 500 to prevent, as much as possible, the sheets or strips of waste in the water from tangling. with the end of the drive shaft 320 close to the first deflector 400 and the end of the drive shaft 320 close to the second deflector 500. This ensures that debris will not affect the operation of the drive shaft, and enables continuous, stable and efficient cleaning of the pool.
[0041] In this embodiment, the end of the second deflector 500 not connected to the propeller 200 is adjacent to the main body 310, such that the spacing between the second deflector 500 and the main body 310 is sufficiently narrow to avoid excessive interference and excessive friction between the second deflector 500 disposed on the propeller 200 and the main body 310 when the propeller 200 is rotating. In addition, the spacing between the second baffle 500 and the main body 310 is narrow enough to prevent, as much as possible, a large amount of debris in the water from passing through the spacing and tangling with the drive shaft 320 between the second baffle 500 and the main body 310, such that the debris entangles with the second baffle 500 but does not affect the operation of the drive shaft 320.
[0042] Referring to [Fig.2], in this embodiment, the drive member 300 is a motor, and the drive shaft 320 is a motor shaft.
[0043] Referring to [Fig.2], the suction pool cleaner further comprises a power supply element 600. The power supply element 600 is electrically connected to the drive element 300.
[0044] Referring to [Fig. 4], the suction pool cleaner further comprises a filter 700. The filter 700 is disposed between the water inlet 111 and the water outlet 112, or is disposed at the end of the water outlet 112 remote from the water inlet 111. More specifically, when the filter 700 is disposed between the water inlet 111 and the water outlet 112, water near the water inlet 111 enters the housing 100 via the water inlet 111 under the effect of the suction force generated by the propeller 200. The water entering the housing 100 is then filtered and treated by the filter 700 to obtain clean water, which is discharged from the water outlet 112.When the filter 700 is disposed at the end of the water outlet 112 away from the water inlet 111, water near the water inlet 111 enters the housing 100 via the water inlet 111 under the effect of the suction force generated by the propeller 200, and then flows into the filter 700 via the water outlet 112. It is then filtered and treated by the filter 700 to obtain clean water, which is discharged from the filter 700.
[0045] Referring to [Fig. 4], the filter 700 is a filter screen and the filter screen is connected to the end of the water outlet 112 remote from the water inlet 111. More specifically, the water near the water inlet 111 enters the housing 100 through the water inlet 111 under the effect of the suction force generated by the propeller 200, and then flows into the filter screen through the water outlet 112. And, solids, such as dirt and debris, are retained in the filter screen, while the purified water separated from the water entering the cleaner flows out of the mesh holes of the filter screen.
[0046] The suction pool cleaner of the present invention is used in swimming pools or other artificial ponds to clean water.
[0047] With reference to Figures 1 and 3, the water inlet 111 is arranged at the bottom of the housing 100 and the water outlet 112 is arranged on the top of the housing 100.
[0048] Referring to [Fig.2], the suction pool cleaner further comprises a connecting element 900. One end of the connecting element 900 is connected to the first deflector 400, and the other end of the connecting element 900 is connected to the inner wall of the housing 100.
[0049] The connecting element 900 is molded integrally with the first deflector 400. More specifically, the connecting element 900 is fixedly connected to the inner wall of the housing 100 by means of a screw or an elastic loop.
[0050] Referring to Figures 2 and 5, the number of connecting element 900 is one, and the connecting element 900 is connected to one end of the first deflector 400. As shown in [Fig.2], the connecting element 900 is connected to the right end of the first deflector 400. In particular, the reasonable thickness and width of the connecting element 900 ensure the connection strength of the connecting element 900 to the first deflector 400.
[0051] Referring to Figures 1 and 2, the peripheral contour of the first deflector 400 is a curved surface gradually narrowing from the end near the propeller 200 to the end far from the propeller 200. More specifically, the end of the first deflector 400 far from the propeller 200 (the lower end of the first deflector 400) has a relatively narrow periphery, while the end of the first deflector 400 near the propeller 200 (the upper end of the first deflector 400) has a relatively wide periphery. Therefore, when water flows from the lower end of the first deflector 400 to its upper end, it gradually spreads toward the sides of the first deflector 400.This ensures that, when flowing toward the propeller 200, the water is further away from the axis of the drive shaft 320, so as to prevent debris in the water from tangling with the end of the drive shaft 320 near the first deflector 400.
[0052] The first deflector 400 may be arranged, without limitation, to be a hemispherical structure, a conical structure, or a parabolic structure. And, in this embodiment, with reference to [Fig.l], the first deflector 400 is a hemispherical structure.
[0053] Referring to [Fig.2], the first deflector 400 is a rotating body, and the axis of the drive shaft 320 coincides with the axis of the first deflector 400. More specifically, when water flows from the lower end of the first deflector 400 towards the upper end of the first deflector 400, it spreads towards the sides of the first deflector 400. Due to the coincidence of the axis of the drive shaft 320 and the axis of the first deflector 400, the water flowing from the sides of the first deflector 400 is that much further from the axis of the drive shaft 320.
[0054] The second deflector 500 is an elastic deflector or a rigid deflector. More specifically, when the second deflector 500 is an elastic deflector, soft friction occurs if the elastic deflector directly or indirectly rubs against the main body 310 due to an assembly error or the like. In this embodiment, the second deflector 500 is an elastic deflector.
[0055] Referring to Figures 1 and 2, the propeller 200 comprises a propeller column 210 and a blade 220. The propeller column 210 is sleeved on the drive shaft 320 and the blade 220 is spirally arranged on the propeller column 210. And, the second deflector 500 is connected to the end of the blade 220 adjacent to the main body 310; and, in particular, the blade 220 is spirally arranged for spirally transporting debris in the water upwards.
[0056] Referring to Figures 1, 2 and 5, the second deflector 500 has a plate-shaped structure and extends from the end of the blade 220 close to the main body 310 toward the main body 310. The extension direction of the second deflector 500 is parallel to the axis of the drive shaft 320. And, in this embodiment, the extension direction of the second deflector 500 refers to the height direction of the second deflector 500.
[0057] Referring to Figures 1 and 2, the housing 100 has an inner casing 130. The inner casing 130 divides the interior of the housing 100 into a suction chamber 110 and a motor chamber 120, and the motor chamber 120 is not disposed in the suction chamber 110. The main body 310 is disposed in the motor chamber 120, and the drive shaft 320 penetrates the inner casing 130 and partially extends into the suction chamber 110. Furthermore, the water inlet 111 and the water outlet 112 both communicate with the suction chamber 110. The end of the second deflector 500 not connected to the propeller 200 is adjacent to the inner casing 130. More specifically, the main body 310 of the drive member 300 is separated from the engine chamber 120 by the inner casing 130.The aforementioned narrow spacing between the second baffle 500 and the main body 310 actually refers to the spacing between the second baffle 500 and the inner casing 130. The spacing is configured narrowly to prevent, as much as possible, debris in the water from passing through the spacing and becoming entangled with the drive shaft 320 between the second baffle 500 and the inner casing 130. Since the motor chamber 120 is not disposed in the suction chamber 110, the motor chamber 120 and the suction chamber . 110 are independent of each other, thus ensuring the smooth passage of water with a large volume of waste through the suction chamber 110.
[0058] Referring to [Fig. 2], the motor chamber 120 is located in the upper left portion of the housing 100, and the suction chamber 110 is configured to occupy the other portion of the housing 100, whereby, in the present invention, the water outlet 112 is arranged in parallel with the motor chamber 120. And, the water near the water inlet 111 enters the suction chamber 110 via the water inlet 111 under the suction force generated by the propeller 200, and then flows out via the water outlet 112. That said, the water does not need to pass through the motor chamber 120 during flow and will not be hindered by components such as the motor during flow. As a result, large volume waste present in the water passes through the suction chamber 110 smoothly.Furthermore, since the suction chamber 110 and the water outlet 112 are arranged in parallel with the motor chamber 120, the size of the water outlet 112 can be designed to vary according to actual needs without influence from the motor chamber 120.
[0059] Furthermore, the shortest distance between the end of the second deflector 500 not connected to the propeller 200 and the inner casing 130 is not more than 1 cm. In this case, debris in the water can be prevented, to the extent possible, from passing through the gap between the second deflector 500 and the inner casing 130 and from becoming entangled with the drive shaft 320 between the second deflector 500 and the inner casing 130.
[0060] In this embodiment, the end of the second deflector 500 not connected to the propeller 200 has a shortest distance of 0.3 to 0.5 cm relative to the internal casing 130.
[0061] More specifically, water near the water inlet 111 enters the suction chamber 110 through the water inlet 111 under the effect of the suction force generated by the propeller 200. The water in the suction chamber 110 then flows into the filter screen through the water outlet 112, and solids, such as dirt and debris, are retained in the filter screen. The purified water flows outward through the mesh holes of the filter screen.
[0062] In this embodiment, the power supply element 600 is disposed in the motor chamber 120.
[0063] Referring to Figures 2 and 5, the drive shaft 320 comprises a sealing element 1000, which is located between the drive shaft 320 and the inner casing 130. The sealing element 1000 is used to seal between the motor chamber 120 and the suction chamber 110, so as to prevent water sucked into the suction chamber 110 from entering the motor chamber 120. In this embodiment embodiment, the sealing element 1000 is a sealing ring in an annular structure and the sealing ring is sleeved on the drive shaft 320. The inner wall of the sealing ring is in close contact with the outer wall of the drive shaft 320. The outer wall of the sealing ring is in close contact with the inner casing 130, so as to achieve sealing between the motor chamber 120 and the suction chamber 110. Referring to Figures 1 and 3, the suction pool cleaner further comprises a rotating wheel 800 located at the bottom of the housing 100. More specifically, the rotating wheel 800 achieves the movement of the suction pool cleaner.
[0064] Referring to [Fig. 3], multiple rotating wheels 800 are provided. In this embodiment, three rotating wheels 800 are arranged spaced apart from each other at the bottom of the housing 100 to provide reliable support for the housing 100 and convenient transfer of the suction pool cleaner.
[0065] Furthermore, the rotating wheels 800 are universal wheels.
[0066] The examples described above are only preferred embodiments of the invention and are not limiting. It should be noted that all changes, modifications and replacements made by those skilled in the art fall within the scope of the invention.
