Title of the invention: Protective shelter for poultry for microproduction, with tubular metal frame

[0001] The invention relates to protective shelters for poultry, in particular protective shelters for poultry for the micro-production of meat or eggs for consumption.

[0002] In recent years, health issues and consumption patterns have changed, pushing more poultry and egg producers to favor short supply chains and micro-production. Thus, a growing number of producers are moving towards small-sized or segmented production units. To this end, rather than using medium or large-sized protective shelters for poultry, many producers are equipping themselves with small-sized protective shelters, often mobile, occupying between 15 and 100m2.

[0003] Some of these shelters are based on a tubular metal frame supporting protective panels. Such frames are generally made of painted or galvanized steel. The tubes of the frame are welded together to define the suitable geometry. However, such shelters have disadvantages. The welds of the tubes generate harmful gases, the junctions between the tubes are prone to rust and the structures are relatively difficult to transport and assemble.

[0004] The invention aims to solve one or more of these drawbacks. The invention thus relates to a protective shelter for poultry having a footprint of less than 150m2, comprising:

Protective shelter for poultry (1) having a footprint of less than 150m2, characterized in that it comprises: - a set of assembled metal tubes (2); - fixing elements (3) each having at least first and second parts (31, 32) each bolted to two separate metal tubes (21, 22) of the set of assembled metal tubes; - protective panels (41, 42) fixed to metal tubes of the set.

2. A poultry protection shelter (1) according to claim 1, wherein said metal tubes (2) are made of galvanized steel.

3. A poultry shelter (1) according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the tubes (2) of the tube assembly have a rectangular cross-section.

A poultry shelter (1) according to any preceding claim, wherein the set of metal tubes (2) comprises a first group of tubes defining a support for panels of a first longitudinal facade, and a second group of tubes defining a support for panels of a second longitudinal facade, and a third group of tubes defining a support for panels of a roof.

5. A poultry protection shelter (1) according to claim 4, wherein the combination of the first group of tubes and the panels of the first longitudinal facade provides an opening (11) in this first facade.

6. A poultry protection shelter (1) according to claim 4 or 5, wherein the set of metal tubes comprises a fourth group of tubes extending longitudinally on the ground to secure the support of the first longitudinal facade and the support of the second longitudinal facade.

7. A poultry shelter (1) according to claim 4 or 6, wherein the set of metal tubes comprises a fifth group of tubes extending vertically from the ground to form an intermediate support integral with the third group of tubes.

8. A poultry protection shelter (1) according to any preceding claim, wherein said fastening elements are made of galvanized steel.

9. A poultry shelter (1) according to any preceding claim, wherein the tubes of the metal tube assembly are straight.

10. A poultry shelter (1) according to any preceding claim, wherein the first and second parts of the fixing members are each fixed by a respective bolt (5) whose screw passes through that part and two opposite faces of a metal tube to which that part is fixed.
