Description

Title of the invention: a framework system for lining a structure

[0001] The present invention relates to the field of framing systems for lining a vertical or horizontal wall, interior or exterior. Previous art

[0002] At present, the facades of buildings can be insulated from the outside in order to preserve the interior space of said buildings.

[0003] A first solution consists of implementing an external thermal insulation solution. Such cladding involves installing panels of insulating materials such as mineral wool or polystyrene on the facade using mortar, adhesive, adhesive mortar, or anchors fixed to the facade. The entire assembly is then covered with plaster.

[0004] A second solution consists of installing cladding, that is, mounting a framework on the wall to which facing panels are attached. This framework is designed to allow the installation of insulating panels such as mineral wool (glass or rock wool). These panels are fixed to the facade using rosettes.

[0005] In particular, there exists a cladding structure whose framework comprises U- or C-shaped profiles, that is, profiles comprising a central web through which two parallel wings extend perpendicularly. These profiles are fixed to the facade by means of fixing plates. More specifically, the profiles are arranged so that one of the parallel wings is in contact with the facade.

[0006] Profiles can be used because the two parallel arms of the C form a space into which insulating material can be inserted. A facing is arranged on these profiles by means of a horizontal or vertical counter-frame.

[0007] The drawback of this construction is that it requires an air gap to ventilate the building. This air gap necessitates additional construction. Furthermore, it does not allow the facing to be placed at a variable distance from the wall without changing the profile thickness. Profile thickness refers to the width of the profile's web. The invention solves this problem by allowing, for a given profile thickness, the facing to be placed at different distances from the wall, thus enabling the use of a variable thickness of the insulating material, depending on the thermal requirements of the structure being insulated. Summary of the invention

[0008] Thus, the invention seeks to solve the problems of the prior art by providing a lining framework that offers superior thermal performance, in particular without adding a second layer of insulating material.

[0009] For this purpose, the invention relates to a lining frame for a structure, said frame comprising a reinforcement supporting a facing, said reinforcement comprising a plurality of reinforcement elements arranged to form at least one space in which an insulating material in the form of at least one panel of insulating material is suitable to be placed, said reinforcement being fixed to the structure by fixing means characterized in that the thickness of the reinforcement fixed to the wall is greater than that of the at least one panel of insulating material in order to create a void space between the insulating material and the facing.

[0010] The present invention thus has the advantage of integrating the air gap that ventilates the building without the need for an additional structure. For example, the thickness of the reinforcement attached to the structure is the thickness of the reinforcement elements.

[0011] According to an example, the thickness of the reinforcement fixed to the structure is the thickness of the reinforcement elements and the fixing elements.

[0012] According to one example, the reinforcement elements are profiles comprising a central web and at least one first wing extending orthogonally to said central web, said first wing allowing the facing to be fixed.

[0013] According to one example, the reinforcement elements include a second wing extending orthogonally to said central web.

[0014] According to one example, said first wing includes a return extending parallel to the central core.

[0015] According to one example, the return of the first wing has a length equal to the empty space between the insulating material and the facing.

[0016] According to one example, the fastening means include fastening elements allowing the reinforcement to be set at a distance from the structure.

[0017] According to one example, the fixing elements comprise a first portion used for fixing it to the frame and a second portion for fixing it to the structure, the second portion preferably extending orthogonally to the first portion.

[0018] According to one example, the second portion comprises a multitude of aligned through holes, the central core comprises a multitude of aligned through holes, and wherein the structural element is fixed to the fastener by screwing or bolting through at least one hole in the fastener and at least one hole in the reinforcement element. This advantageously allows for a single type of reinforcement element to achieve different reinforcement thicknesses.

[0019] The invention further relates to a frame kit to be assembled comprising at least one reinforcement element, at least one fixing element, at least one insulating panel and means for making at least a portion of the facing.

[0020] According to one example, the reinforcement elements are profiles comprising a central web and at least one first flange extending orthogonally to said central web.

[0021] According to one example, the reinforcement elements comprise a second wing extending orthogonally to said central web.

[0022] According to one example, said first wing includes a return extending parallel to the central core.

[0023] According to one example, the fastening means include fastening elements allowing the reinforcement to be set at a distance from the structure.

[0024] According to one example, the fixing elements comprise a first portion used for fixing it to the frame and a second portion for fixing it to the structure, the second portion preferably extending orthogonally to the first portion.

[0034] In [Fig. 1], a facade 1 is shown. This facade 1 comprises a lining frame 10 arranged to be fixed to a structure 2 such as a building in order to form a facade. The load-bearing structure 2 is made of wood or masonry. Structure 2 is a floor slab, ceiling, or wall. The wall can be vertical, horizontal, or inclined.

[0035] The framework 10, visible in Figures 2 and 3, comprises a plurality of reinforcement elements 12 arranged together to form a framework 11. This framework 10 is arranged to allow the installation of an insulation layer 14. This insulation layer 14 comprises a plurality of insulating panels 140. These insulating panels 140 are made of an insulating material such as glass wool, rock wool, polystyrene, wood wool, or any other possible insulating material. These panels have a thickness El of between 70 and 300 mm.

[0036] The frame 10 also includes a facing 16. This facing 16 includes, in the case of an external lining, a cladding which can be made of wood or pvc or stone or any other external cladding such as at least one plate covered with a coating.

[0037] The reinforcement elements 12 are profiles as seen in [Fig. 4]. These profiles 12 comprise a central web 121 and at least one flange 122, called the first flange. This flange 122 extends perpendicularly to the central web so as to form at least an L shape. The reinforcement elements 12 are made of metal, metal alloy, plastic, or composite materials. The facing 16 is attached to the reinforcement 11 by the first flange 122. The facing 16 is attached directly or indirectly to the first flange 122. It is understood that the cladding is attached to the first flange 122 either directly or via a secondary reinforcement (not shown) in contact with said first flange 122, which supports the cladding.

[0038] The reinforcement elements 12 are arranged to form a reinforcement 11. This reinforcement 11 comprises reinforcement elements 12 extending vertically along a y-axis, i.e. orthogonally to the ground, and reinforcement elements extending parallel to the ground, i.e., along an x-axis. The reinforcement elements 12 are arranged to extend from the structure 2 along a z-axis, thus defining a depth.

[0039] More specifically, the reinforcement 11 then comprises a plurality of lines including at least one reinforcement element 12, the lines being parallel to each other. These lines are vertical or horizontal and extend over the entire height or width of the structure to be reinforced. The lines are, for example, arranged to have a spacing between two lines of at least 0.6 m, preferably between 0.6 m and 4 m.

[0040] The reinforcement elements 12 are then arranged to form spaces into which the insulating material panels 14 are able to be inserted.

[0041] Reinforcing elements 12 arranged between the lines, parallel to the ground, are used for the window headers. The reinforcing elements 12 arranged parallel to the ground are fixed to the reinforcing elements 12 extending vertically. Optionally, connecting pieces are used to fix the reinforcing elements. 12 arranged parallel to the ground with reinforcement elements 12 extending vertically. A first set of reinforcement elements can also be used that are only horizontal (along the x-axis), or only vertical (along the y-axis), in combination or not with a second set of reinforcement elements 12 in a perpendicular direction.

[0042] The frame 11 further includes fastening means 13 allowing the fastening reinforcement elements 12 to structure 2 as seen in [Fig.5].

[0043] In a first embodiment, the fastening means 13 comprise at least one fastening element 130. This fastening element 130 is in the form of a bracket or a profile having an L or T shape. Each fastening element 130 thus comprises two portions: a first portion 130a for its attachment to the reinforcement 11 and a second portion 13b for its attachment to the structure 2. The second portion 130b preferably extends orthogonally to the first portion 130a. The attachment to the structure 2 and / or to the reinforcement 11 is effected by bolting or screwing. Two reinforcement elements 12 can be attached to the same fastening element 130.

[0044] The reinforcement elements 12 are fixed to the fixing elements 130 by their central web 121. It is understood that the plane of a central web 121 of a reinforcement element 12 extends orthogonally to the plane of the facade. Said at least one flange 122 of the reinforcement elements 12 is used for the installation of the facing 16. The central web 121 has a length between 70 and 400 mm.

[0045] Attaching the reinforcement element 12 to the fastening element 130 by its central web 121 provides greater mechanical strength than if the central web were directly attached to the structure 2. This improved mechanical strength increases the mechanical moment of inertia. Consequently, since the mechanical moment of inertia is increased, the distance between two fastening elements 130 can be increased to 2 or 3 meters. In this case, the number of fastening elements 130 is reduced.

[0046] The central cores 121 of two reinforcement elements 12 of two adjacent lines are then parallel and form a space 30 between which one or more panels 140 of insulating material are inserted.

[0047] According to the invention, the framework 10, i.e., the assembly of the reinforcement elements 12 and the fixing elements 130, is arranged to have a thickness greater than that of the insulating material panels 140. This thickness is the distance between the facade and the flange of the reinforcement elements 12 that supports the facing 16.

[0048] Now, the insulating material panels 140, sandwiched between two rows of reinforcement elements 12, are in direct contact with the structure 2. Thus, once the facing 16 is installed, there is a space 30 between the insulating material panel 140 and said facing 16, as shown in [Fig. 6]. This space 30 then has a thickness, preferably at least 20mm. Even more preferably, this space should have a thickness between 40 and 90mm.

[0049] This space 30 between the insulating panel 140 and the facing 16 then takes the form of a void 30. This void is considered an air gap that allows the building to be ventilated. The presence of this air gap eliminates the need for additional structural reinforcement to achieve such ventilation. This difference in thickness between the insulating panel 140 and the facing 16 is achieved in various ways.

[0050] A first method consists of providing reinforcement elements 12 whose thickness is greater than that of the insulating panels 140. This thickness of the reinforcement elements 12 is equal to the length of the central web 121 of the profile forming the reinforcement element 12.

[0051] A second way to obtain a difference in thickness between the insulating panel 140 and the facing 16 is to have the thickness of the reinforcement elements 12, that is, the length of the central web 121 of the profile forming the reinforcement element 12, which is identical to that of the insulating panel 140, but with this reinforcement element 12 positioned at a distance from the structure. It is then understood that the fixing elements 130 are arranged to distance the reinforcement 10 from the structure, the reinforcement elements 12 being offset from the facade.

[0052] A third way to obtain a difference in thickness between the insulating panel 140 and the facing 16 consists of combining the thickness of the reinforcement elements 12, i.e., the length of the central web 121 of the profile forming the structural element, and that of the fixing elements 130 arranged to distance the reinforcement 10 from the structure 2, in order to obtain the air gap. In this case, it is possible to have a first portion 130a of the fixing element 130 with a long length and a reinforcement element 12 with a short central web 121, or vice versa, i.e., a first portion 130a of the fixing element 130 with a short length and a reinforcement element 12 with a long central web 121. Having a reinforcement element 12 with a reduced central web 122 helps to limit the influence of thermal bridges compared to a solution in which the reinforcement element 12 would have a longer central web.

[0053] The advantage of spacing the reinforcement 11 away from the structure 2 is that it reduces the contact between the reinforcement elements 12 and the structure. Indeed, when the reinforcement elements 12 are not spaced away from the facade, they are in contact with the structure 2, and this contact occurs along the entire length of the reinforcement elements 12, thus promoting the formation of thermal bridges. Spacing the reinforcement elements 12 away reduces this risk.

[0054] In one embodiment, the fastening elements 130 are arranged to allow adjustment of the position of the reinforcement elements 12 attached to them, as shown in Figures 12 and 13. To this end, the first portion 130a includes a multitude of through holes 131 aligned along its length. These holes 131 provide options for attaching the reinforcement element 12. These options allow the reinforcement element 12 to be moved closer to or further from the structure 2. The reinforcement element 12 may also include a multitude of through holes 1210. This embodiment also reduces the number of parts in the manufacturing units, because with a single type of reinforcement element 12, different lining frames with different Z-shaped thicknesses can be made.

[0055] In one embodiment, the profile forming the reinforcement elements 12 is arranged to fit into the insulating panel 140. For this purpose, the reinforcement element 12 comprises a second flange 122 extending orthogonally to the central web 121, as shown in Figures 7 to 10. This second flange extends parallel to the first flange. This second flange extends in the same direction as the first flange to form a U-shaped profile or in the opposite direction to form a Z-shaped profile. The second flange 122 has a length that is either identical to, or different from, greater than, or less than that of the first flange.

[0056] This second wing 122 is arranged to cooperate with the insulating material panel. This cooperation takes the form of an insertion of said second wing 122 into the insulating material panel. For this purpose, said panel optionally includes a notch. If present, this notch is located on the edge of the insulating material panel 140. This notch is then made before or during the installation of the panel. This notch allows the second wing 122 to be inserted into it. This insertion provides better support for the panel since it is engaged with a reinforcement element 12. This insertion also allows the reinforcement element 12 to serve as a guide rail. It is then possible to move the insulating material panel 140 along the reinforcement element 12, in particular for positioning.

[0057] In another embodiment, the first wing 122 includes a return 123 as seen in [Fig. 11]. This return extends parallel to the central web. This return extends in the direction towards the facade. This return 123 is used as a stop in the event that the insulating material panel(s) should detach from the facade.

[0058] Preferably, the return of the first wing 122 has a length equal to the desired air gap thickness. This allows the return 123 to hold the insulation in place to ensure that the air gap maintains a constant thickness.

[0059] In one embodiment, the 140 panels of insulating material are fixed to the structure by means of dowels or rosettes. These dowels are accessories that fit into holes These are installed in the facade by inserting the insulating material to secure it. These dowels or rosettes allow for better retention of the 140mm insulating panel on the structure.

[0060] In another variant, the fastening means 13 include bolts or screws or directly fixing the reinforcement elements 12 to the structure 2.

[0061] The invention also takes the form of a frame kit to be assembled. This kit includes at least one reinforcement element 12, at least one fixing element, at least one insulation panel 140 and means for constructing at least one portion of the facing 16. This kit can be supplemented by at least one dowel or rosette for anchoring the insulation panel 140 to the structure.

[0062] The frame kit can be separated into sub-kits comprising, for example, a reinforcement sub-kit comprising at least one reinforcement element 12 and at least one fixing element.

[0063] Of course, the present invention is not limited to the illustrated example but is susceptible to various variants and modifications which will become apparent to those skilled in the art.

[0064] Indeed, it is possible to use the lining frame 1 according to the invention for interior lining. In this case, the frame 10 is fixed to the interior wall and the facing is, for example, in the form of a plasterboard panel that can be covered with plaster and / or paint.
