The invention relates to a photovoltaic panel device and a shade house type installation comprising at least one such device. The latter comprises at least two longitudinal cables parallel to each other, the ends of which are secured to crosspieces. These are mounted in rotation on the upper end or at least in the upper part of two support structures installed at a distance from each other so as to ensure the tensioning of the longitudinal cables connecting said crosspieces.
