Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Motorized skates with large diameter side wheels. Technical field of the invention
[0001] The invention relates to the field of urban micromobility, more particularly motorized devices. Summary of the invention
[0002] The present invention relates to an urban micromobility device consisting of motorized skates attached to each of the user's shoes. This device, weighing no more than 3 kg per foot including batteries, offers a range of at least 5 km and complies with the regulations of the highway code for use on public roads, by means of a sole integrating the batteries as well as the electronic components necessary for controlling acceleration and braking. The skates have large-diameter lateral wheels, typically 110 mm, which absorb road surface irregularities. Their arrangement on either side of the sole provides good stability by limiting the user's height. Acceleration and braking can be controlled by a handheld remote control or by means of pressure sensors integrated into the skates. Description of the invention
[0003] The urban micromobility device, comprising, for each foot of the user: A horizontal sole 20 to 40 mm thick integrating the batteries as well as the electronic components necessary for powering the electric motor and for steering and accelerating or braking.
[0004] The device according to the invention comprises wheels (between 3 and 6) arranged laterally on either side of the sole, of which at least 2 have a diameter greater than 80 mm;
[0005] The device according to the invention comprises an electric motor, which can be integrated into one or more wheel(s) (hub motor), or offset to the rear of the foot and driving the drive wheel via a belt;
[0006] The device according to the invention comprises an attachment device holding the user's shoe securely to the sole.
[0007] The device according to the invention has a lateral wheel arrangement on either side of the sole which limits the elevation of the user and provides good stability.
[0008] The device according to the invention includes large diameter wheels, typically 110 mm, greater than 80 mm, which allow the absorption of road surface irregularities.
[0009] The device according to the invention has acceleration or braking control which is achieved by a remote control held in the hand by the user or by means of pressure sensors integrated into the pads.
Claims
Demands
1. Urban micromobility device, said device comprising, for each foot of the user: • A horizontal sole 20 to 40 mm thick integrating the batteries as well as the electronic components necessary for powering the electric motor and controlling acceleration or braking; • Wheels (between 3 and 6) arranged laterally on either side of the sole, of which at least 2 have a diameter greater than 80 mm; • An electric motor, which may be integrated into one or more wheel(s) (hub motor), or offset to the rear of the foot and driving the drive wheel via a belt; • A fastening device holding the user's shoe attached to the sole.
2. Device according to claim 1, having between 3 and 6 wheels arranged laterally on either side of the sole, in order to offer good stability by limiting the elevation of the user, at least two of said wheels having a diameter greater than 80 mm, typically 110 mm, in order to absorb the asperities of the road surface.
3. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, the total weight of which per foot does not exceed 3 kg including batteries.
4. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the control of acceleration or braking is carried out by a remote control held in the hand by the user or by means of pressure sensors integrated into the pads.
