Abstract

The invention relates to a security element (2) for a security document, the security element (2) being multi-layered and comprising an upper face (12) and a lower face (13) between which are superimposed in this order, from the upper face (12) to the lower face (13): - a translucent layer of colored ink (15), - a support layer (17) at least partially, preferably totally, transparent or translucent, - a layer of variable reflection relief microstructures (19) so as to define a variable optical effect depending on the angle of observation and / or illumination from the upper face (12), and - a layer (21) comprising plasmonic particles, preferably a layer (21) of plasmonic ink.
