Abstract

The present invention relates to a landscaped metal tomb, which is characterized by its refined and entirely vegetated appearance. It is made from metal plates (3) made of corten steel, stainless steel, thermo-lacquered steel or any other ironwork material treated with anti-corrosion for perfect durability, welded together to form the frame with a fold in the upper part, on the inside (6), reducing the sharpness of the frame. The height of the plates is approximately 30 cm, to allow optimal support of the plants. This frame is welded to a metal base (4) of the same type, positioned on the lower quarter of the frame and punctually pierced to allow the evacuation of excess water (7). The tomb is placed directly on the slab closing the vault. The base is placed on the slab. The frame is positioned on the outer periphery of the slab, freeing up a space for the evacuation of excess water [Fig 5].For full-earth burials without slabs, the bottom can be removed, only the frame is made. [Fig 6] The metal frame is filled with a drainage bed then with topsoil, before being generously planted with varied and preferably local vegetation. Depending on the species of plants chosen, this tomb requires little maintenance. This design allows the creation of landscaped tombs by craftsmen and ironworkers, but can also be carried out industrially. This innovation, with its simple aesthetics, contributes to the natural greening of cemeteries, with tombs that can self-regulate according to the species of vegetation chosen. [0002] The present invention relates to the production of a refined metal tomb, made of metal plates, simple to implement and completely planted, allowing self-regulation of the plants according to the varieties chosen. • General observation

[0003] To overcome the gloom of cemeteries, cold, dull, very mineral and devoid of natural vegetation, it seemed obvious to us to be able to offer an alternative to funeral monuments most often made of granite, stone or marble.

1. Landscaped metal grave device characterized by a metal frame with a height of more or less 30 cm, made of four metal plates with a thickness of more or less 0.3 cm which can be corten steel, stainless steel, thermo-lacquered or any other ironwork material which will be treated with anti-corrosion to allow perfect durability.

2. Landscaped metal grave device, according to claim 1, characterized in that the frame is sized to be 10 to 15 cm larger than the vault slab and assembled by welding. Said device comprising • a) A fold on the plates in the upper part of more or less 1 cm, folded over the inside of the frame, making it possible to reduce the sharp appearance of the metal. • b) A metal bottom of the same nature positioned and welded on the lower quarter of the frame. • c) The bottom is punctually pierced on the edges to allow excess water to drain away. • d) The bottom is placed on the vault slab without fixing. • e) The frame is placed on the outer periphery of the slab directly on the ground, and frees up a space for the evacuation of excess water between the frame and the vault slab.• f) The frame is filled with a first drainage bed, completed with topsoil then planted with preferably local vegetation for self-regulation of the grave.

3. For full-earth burials, which do not have a slab, the frame can be placed without the base, directly on the ground.

4. Landscaped metal grave device, according to claims 1, 2 and 3, characterized by possible personalization of the grave by extrusion engraving on the periphery of the frame.
