Claims
Demands
1. A cosmetic applicator fastening system comprising: - a threaded adapter (100), including O a first opening (110) defined by a first cylindrical portion (105), an outer surface of the first cylindrical portion including a first thread, and O a fastening portion (125) fixed to the first cylindrical portion, the fastening portion being hollow, an outer surface of the fastening portion having a shape; and - a device adapter (200) including a support (205) having a shape complementary to the shape of the fastening portion, the support being configured to be reversibly fixed to the threaded adapter via the fastening portion.
2. A fastening system according to claim 1, wherein the threaded adapter (100) further includes a second opening defined by a second cylindrical portion, the second cylindrical portion being fixed to the fastening portion (125) opposite the first cylindrical portion, an inner surface of the second cylindrical portion including a second thread.

A fastening system according to claim 1, wherein the fastening portion (125) further includes - a first edge disposed proximal to the first cylindrical portion (105) and a second edge disposed opposite the first edge on the fastening portion, and - a stop formed along the second edge of the fastening portion, the stop being configured to butt the support (205) and prevent the support from moving beyond the second edge of the fastening portion.

A fastening system according to claim 1, wherein - the support (205) includes a positioning coating along an internal surface of the support, - the fastening portion (125) includes a groove around the outer surface of the fastening portion, and - the positioning coating is configured to rest in the groove of the fastening portion when the support is fully engaged with the fastening portion.
5. A fastening system according to claim 1, wherein the outer surface of the fastening portion (125) includes a locating member and an inner surface of the support (205) includes a complementary locating member configured to engage with the locating member of the fastening portion.
6. A fastening system according to claim 1, wherein the fastening portion (125) includes a first magnet and the support (205) includes a second magnet, the first magnet being configured to attract the second magnet and help the support to engage with the fastening portion.
7. A fastening system according to claim 1, wherein the outer surface of the fastening portion (125) includes a series of teeth and an inner surface of the support (205) includes a complementary series of hollows configured to engage with the series of teeth of the fastening portion.
8. A fastening system according to claim 1, wherein the shape of the outer surface of the fastening portion (125) is non-circular and the shape of the support (205) is complementary to the non-circular shape of the fastening portion.
9. A fastening system according to claim 1, wherein the shape of the outer surface of the first cylindrical portion (105) widens from a first edge disposed proximal to the first cylindrical portion to a second edge disposed opposite the first edge on the fastening portion.
