Fluid heating device, particularly intended for a vehicle

Abstract

Fluid heating device (100) for a vehicle, in particular a motor vehicle, comprising: - a housing (2) comprising on the one hand a circulation chamber (21) adapted to be traversed by a fluid and on the other hand a control chamber (22), the housing further comprising a partition wall (23) separating the circulation chamber (21) and the control chamber (22), the partition wall (23) having a first face (231) located in the circulation chamber (21) and a second face (232), opposite the first face (231) located in the control chamber (22), - at least one electric heating element (4) disposed in the circulation chamber (21) to heat the fluid in said circulation chamber (21), - an electronic board (5) disposed in the control chamber (22) and adapted to control an electric current circulating in said electric heating element(s) (4),characterized in that the fluid heating device (100) further comprises a cover (6) disposed between at least a portion of the separating wall (23) and at least a portion of the electronic board (5). Claims

an additional means for attaching a vehicle heater support, the electric heater (100) being configured so that when mounted on the vehicle, fluid droplets or condensate that may form on the second face (232) of the partition wall (23) can fall by gravity from the partition wall (23) onto the cover (6).

12. Fluid heating device, according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the cover (6) is formed in a thermoplastic polymer material, for example a polyester such as polyethylene terephthalate (or PBT).

13. Fluid heating device, according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the cover (6) and the printed circuit board (5) are assembled together and form a subassembly before being mounted in the heating device.

Fluid heating device, according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the cover comprises a retaining element (69) cooperating with a complementary retaining element of the printed circuit board (55), the retaining element and the complementary retaining element together forming a retaining device opposing the separation of the cover (6) on the one hand and the printed circuit board (55) or the electronic board (5) on the other hand.
